Abstract
Un artículo absorbente que tiene un primer extremo, unaprimera sección de pretina contigua al primer extremo, un segundo extremo, una segunda sección de pretina contigua a el segundo extremo, una sección intermedia la cual interconecta dichas secciones de pretina primera y segunda, y los lados longitudinales que se extienden entre los extremos primero y segundo, dicho artículo absorbente comprende: una capa de hoja inferior; una capa de hoja superior permeable al líquido sobrepuesta en una relación de frente a dicha capa de hoja inferior; un conjunto absorbente interpuesto entre las capas de hoja inferior y de hoja superior; y un sistema de sujeción para proporcionar un cierre lateral a dicho artículo absorbente, colocado sobre dicho artículo, dicho sistema de sujeción comprende dos miembros de aseguramiento independientes colocados adyacentes a cada uno de los bordes longitudinales en dicha primera sección de pretina y teniendo una distancia de separación de menos de 6.3 centímetros.
