Abstract

Un procedimiento para producir copolímeros de injerto que contienen grupos anhídrido, que comprende: 1) fabricar un copolímero de injerto que comprende unesqueleto de un material de polímero de propileno con polimerizados por injerto al mismo, monomeros polimerizados seleccionados entre el grupo que consiste en:(a) al menos un ácido acrílico sustituido por alquilo C1-3 y (b) una mezcla de (a) con, al menos, un monomero vinílico capaz de copolimerizarse con el mismo,donde la cantidad total de monomeros polimerizados es aproximadamente 20 partes a 240 partes cada cien partes del material de polímero de propileno, y lacantidad de ácido acrílico sustituido es igual o mayor a 60% mol de los monomeros polimerizados, y 2) calentar el copolímero deinjerto resultante hasta unatemperatura de alrededor de 170*C a alrededor de 300*C para deshidratar los grupos ácido en el copolímero de injerto para formar grupos anhídrido. Copolímerosde injerto obtenidos por el método de la invencion que comprenden un esqueleto de un material de polímero de propileno y cadenas laterales que comprendengrupos anhídrico glutárico y grupos ácido metacrílico.
