Abstract

Se presentan artículos de utilidad en materia de limpieza, y en particular panos limpiadores de tipo humedo que están secos hasta que son utilizados, dondedesde el artículo se libera un fluido. Estos artículos comprende: a) un portador que comprendeuna estructura fibrosa celulosica que tiene por lo menos unaprimera region de peso básico relativamente alto compuesta por un retículo esencialmente continuo, y una segunda region formada por una pluralidad deregiones separadas entre sí de peso básico relativamente bajo que están circunscriptas por la primera region de elevado peso básico; y b) una emulsionaplicada al portador, donde la emulsion proporciona fluido para limpiar cuando se aplican fuerzas de corte al artículo. Las primera y segundoregiones de laestructura fibra celulosica están dispuestas en una configuracion repetitiva no aleatoria. Los artículos ofrecen una serie de ventajas significativas enrelacion a los productos limpiadores del arte previo cuando se presentan en forma de panos limpiadores de tipo humedo tal como los utilizados para la limpiezade superficies duras (por ejemplo, pisos, parte superior de mostradores, piletas, baneras, banos y similares). La inclusion de regiones de peso básico bajoevita una retencionsustancial de fluido por parte del sustrato fibroso celulosico, lo cual permite la liberacion de fluido a la superficie que está siendolimpiada. Los artículos pueden ser utilizados en muchas aplicaciones que requieren la liberacion de materiales polares, en particular sustancias activassolubles o dispersables en agua. Ellos incluyen papel higiénico, toallitas para el aseo personal tal como toallitas humedas para bebés, como asimismo aquellospara la liberacion de sustancias activas farmacéuticaso antimicrobianas solubles o dispersables en agua.
