Un dispositivo pesticida, que comprende un ingrediente pesticida volátil a temperatura ambiente (por ejemplo 1-etinil-2-metil-2-pentenil-3-(2-cloro-2-fluorovinil)-2,2- dimetilciclopropancarboxilato; 1-etinil-2-fluoro-2-pentenil-3-(2,2-diclorovinil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropancarboxilato; 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-metilbencil-3-(2-metil-1-propenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropancarboxilato; 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-metilbencil-3-(2-cloro-2-fluorovinil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropancarboxilato; 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-metilbencil-3-(1-propenil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropancarboxilato) es soportado en un material con el cual se forma un globo, yun método para el control de plagas por medio del uso de dicho dispositivo pesticida.
