Abstract

Se trata de composiciones termoplásticas procesables por fusion y de un método para obtenerlas. Dichas composiciones comprenden una matriz de resinapolimérica termoplástica seleccionada entre poliuretanos termoplásticos, cloruro depolivin ilo, poliestireno, termoplásticos de ingeniería ypoliolefinas, y al menos de 25 por ciento ponderal del total de un modificador del impacto elastomérico, dispersado como partículas separadas en la matriztermoplástica (a); y al menos 10 porciento p onderal sobre el total de al menos un polímero de etileno lineal o sustancialmente lineal homogéneo dispersadocomo partículas separadas en cuando menos el modificador de impacto (b), teniendo el polímero de etileno una distribucionde peso mol ecular menos de 3,5y una densidad de al menos 0,04 gramos/cm3 más alta que la densidad del componente modificador de impacto (b), en donde el modulo elástico delcomponente termoplástico (a) es cuando menos 200 veces mayor que elmodulo e lástico del componente modificador de impacto (b). Se describe un proceso parafabricar artículos de las mismas.
