Abstract
Un método y un aparato para detectar una composicion en un penacho de descarga incluye una fuente de luz que irradia un haz de luz infrarroja quetiene multiples longitudes de onda predeterminadas. Una primera longitud de ondapredeterminada está asociada con el dioxido de carbono y una segundalongitud de onda predeterminada está asociada con un segundo gas, como, por ejemplo, hidrocarburos o monoxidos de carbono.
