Abstract

Una nueva disposicion de contactos permite la carga selectiva de baterías o la transmision de informacion entre una batería y un dispositivoelectronico. De acuerdo con el nuevo elemento un contacto de carga (408) está ubicado en una region (410)fuera del área cubierta por los contactos deelementos convencionales. En consecuencia, un terminal de contacto de carga de un dispositivo electronico solo aplicará corriente de carga a elementosrecargables para evitar la carga no intencional deelem entos primarios. De acuerdo con realizaciones alternativas, los contactos de batería puedencolocarse en sitios diferentes para cargar selectivamente baterías segun el tipo de batería. De acuerdo con otras realizaciones, los contactosdetrans mision de informacion o datos (406) pueden ubicarse en diferentes sitios para permitir la transmision de informacion.
