Abstract

Una película multicapa que comprende una película de sustrato que tiene en sección transversal: a) una capa de núcleo que comprende un polímero de baseformador de película, por ejemplo, un homopolímero de polipropileno isotáctico opcionalmentecomb inado con una poliolefina modificada con anhídrido maleico,por ejemplo polipropileno; b) si dicha poliolefina modificada con ahídrido maleico no está combinada con el polímero de base de la película de núcleo, unacapa ligante promotora deadhesi ón de una poliolefina modificada con anhídrido maleico sobre una superficie de la capa de núcleo; c) una capa externareceptora de metal, de un copolímero de etilen vinil alcohol (EVOH) sobre una superficie ya sea de la capa de núcleo quecontiene dicha poliolefinamodificada con anhídrido maleico combinada o de dicha capa ligante de poliolefina modificada con anhídrido maleico; d) opcionalmente, sobre el otrolado de la capa de núcleo una capa exterior polimérica que tieneuna temperatura menor que la de la capa de núcleo, teniendo dicha película desustrato un depósito metálico, por ej. de aluminio sobre la superficie del copolímero EVOH y un recubrimiento sellable a baja termperatura (LTSC) quecomprende uncopolí mero de 10 a 35% en peso de un ácido carboxílico alfa, beta- etilénicamente insaturado con 65 a 90% en peso de etileno, un alquil acrilato ometacrilato, acrilonitrilo o una mezcla de los mismos sobre la superficie de dicho depósitometálico. La pe lícula tiene excelentes propiedades mecánicas yde barrera y puede ser utilizada para envolver productos alimenticios y no alimenticios de forma tal que el paquete tenga una capa protectora de metal yun sello más resistente.
