Abstract

Acidos alquenil succínicos esterificados que tienen la fórmula (I), donde R1 es grupo alquenilo C10-C32; R2 y R3 son (-OCH2CH2-)nOH, (-OCH2CHCH3)n-OH oOCH2CHOHCH2OH en donde n es un entero de 1 a 10. Estos ácidos alquenil succínicosesteri ficados que demuestran un excelente funcionamiento comoaditivo lubricante, también ofrecen compatibilidades mejoradas con otros combustibles y aditivos lubricantes. Además, se dan a conocer composicionescombustibles que comprenden adichos áci dos alquenil succínicos esterificados de fórmula (I), un método para incrementar la lubricidad de un combustiblelíquido hidrocarburo y un método para inhibir la corrosión en una superficie de metal expuesta a un combustible líquidohidrocarburo mediante la adición dedichos ácidos alquenil succínicos esterificados, y composiciones aditivas que comprenden a dichos ácidos alquenil succínicos esterificados adecuadaspara la adición a un combustible hidrocarburo.
