Abstract

la invención es una mejora en la transformación de árboles y entrega un método el cual es menos estresante para el árbol que está siendo transformado.Arboles notoriamente difíciles tales como Eucalyptus globulus pueden ser transformadosex itosamente. Se hace una incisión en un sitio capaz de iniciarla brotación, células desarmadas de Agrobacterium llevando una o más secuencias de ADN exógeno son introducidas en la incisión y el sitio es sometido a un pasode selección por unperíodo de tiempo suficiente para producir brotes transformados.
