Abstract

Un derivado de 2,4-oxazolidinadiona representado por la fórmula (I), en la cual R representa un residuo de hidrocarburo opcionalmente sustituido o ungrupo heterocíclico; Y constituye un grupo representado por -CO-, -CH(OH) o NR3 (en donde R3 esun grupo alquilo opcionalmente sustituido); m es 0 ó 1; nes 0, 1 ó 2; A representa un residuo de hidrocarburo alifático divalente; R1 es hidrógeno o un grupo alquilo; el anillo E es un anillo de benceno que posee 1ó 2 sustituyentes; L y M respectivamente son hidrógeno, o pueden opcionalmente combinarse entre sí formando un enlace; en tanto la fórmula parcial (II) noincluya la fórmula (III) en la cual R es un grupo alquilo; o una sal del mismo; el cual posee excelentes propiedades para bajar el nivel de azúcar ylípido en sangre.
