Abstract

Un borde contínuo de una tira de material es procesado a medida que se desplaza en una dirección a lo largo de la longitud de la tira. La condicióndel borde contínuo de la tira en desplazamiento es inspeccionada luego de su procesamiento. Latira es cortada en trozos. Los trozos son clasificados engrupos en respuesta a la condición del borde. El borde es contínuamente monitoreado por un par de rayos láser apenas separados, paralelos. Un sistemade visualización comprende unacámar a, un monitor y un sistema de almacenamiento. La cámara captura imágenes de un borde de la tira de materialen desplazamiento. El monitor, conectado a la cámara, muestra las imágenes capturadas por ella. El sistema dealmacenamiento , conectado a la cámara y almonitor, almacena las imágenes capturadas por la cámara. El monitor es capaz de exhibir las imágenes almacenadas.
