Abstract

Se provee un producto absorbente que tiene barreras de escurrimiento repelente al fluido para reducir o evitar el escurrimiento lateral; estas capasde escurrimiento comprenden estructuras dobladas que están unidas longitudinalmente sobre el lado que mira al cuerpo del producto absorbenteadyacente a cada borde lateral del producto absorbente y los bordes distantes de cada barrera de escurrimiento se fijan al producto absorbente;cuando el producto absorbente se flexiona en forma cóncava a lo largo de su eje longitudinal con respecto al lado que mira al cuerpo, las barreras deescurrimiento por lo menos se abren parcialmente para formar paredes erguidas. Se describe también una toalla sanitaria y un métodopara producir dichoproducto.
