Abstract

Un método para determinar vectores de movimiento entre un cuadro corriente y un cuadro precedente mediante el empleo de una estimación de movimientojerárquico de múltiples filas o hileras donde el cuadro corriente es dividido en una pluralidad debloques de búsqueda de un tamano idéntico y el cuadroprecedente es dividido en un número correspondiente a las regiones de búsqueda, siendo además cada región de búsqueda dividida en una multiplicidad de bloquescandidato de dicho tamano idéntico, estando los bloques candidato en cada región de búsqueda agrupados en un múltiple número de áreas de búsqueda dediferentes jerarquías que van dentro de un rango desde una jerarquía más alta a una jerarquía más baja, comprendiendo el método las etapas de estimar elmovimiento de bloques de búsqueda en áreas de búsquedas de predeterminadas jerarquías, comparar funciones de error mínimo y valores de umbral, seleccionaruna de estas funciones y, dependiendo de las mismas, repetir determinadasetapas de estimación y selección, y si en dicha repetición no se determina un vectorde movimiento, se determina un vector de movimiento potencial correspondiente a una función seleccionada del error más pequeno y se somete cada uno de losbloques de búsqueda restantes del cuadro corriente a las etapas anteriormente mencionadas.
