Description

チタン材、加工品、および製品
 本発明は、チタン材、加工品、および製品に関する。
 プレス成形は、素材を金型に押し当て、圧力を加えることで成形する方法で、金属素材の成形方法として一般的である。プレス成形を行う場合、素材と金型との間で生じる凝着が問題になる。凝着が生じると、潤滑が悪くなり、成形性が低下する。また、素材の表面に疵が生じたり、金型の寿命が短くなったりする。このため、プレス成形時の素材と金型との間で生じる凝着を抑制する技術が求められている。
 工業用純チタン、またはチタン合金(以下、単に「チタン材」ともいう。)は、凝着しやすい、すなわち潤滑性が低い素材である。このため、チタン材をプレス成形する際、通常、被膜型固体潤滑剤と呼ばれる薬剤を表面に塗布する。これにより、潤滑性を向上させ、凝着を抑制する。しかしながら、被膜型固体潤滑剤を使用すると、塗布後に表面を乾燥させる工程、およびプレス成形後に表面を洗浄する工程が追加的に発生する。この結果、製造コストが増加する。そこで、被膜型固体潤滑剤の代わりに、鉱物油などの液体潤滑剤が使われている。特許文献1に記載される技術では、チタン板の表面に凹凸を形成することで液体潤滑剤の潤滑効果を改善する試みがなされている。

 しかしながら、液体潤滑剤はパラフィン系炭化水素を含む一方で、チタン材表面は親油性が低い。そのため、液体潤滑剤がチタン材表面ではじかれ、チタン材と金型とが部分的に直接接触することになり、チタン材の金型への凝着を十分に抑制することは困難である。
 特許文献1に開示される技術では、チタン板の表面に凹凸を形成し、凹部を油溜まりとすることで保油性を向上させることとしている。しかしながら、凸部の表面の親油性については検討されておらず、十分な潤滑性を得ることはできない。
 以上を踏まえ、本発明は、優れた親油性および潤滑性を有するチタン材、加工品、および製品を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明は、上記の課題を解決するためになされたものであり、下記のチタン材、加工品、および製品を要旨とする。
 (1)チタン材の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値が5.0質量%以上であり、
 前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域において、飛行時間型二次イオン質量分析法を用いた深さ分析を行ったときに、
 m/zが59の負イオンの検出強度を、表面から2000nmの深さ位置でのm/zが59の負イオンの検出強度で標準化した値の最大値が30.0以下である、
 チタン材。
 (2)前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値が5.0質量%以上である、
 上記(1)に記載のチタン材。
 (3)前記チタン材がチタン板であり、
 電子プローブマイクロアナライザーを用いて、前記チタン板の表面上の所定方向における0.4μm間隔で500点の線分析を、前記表面上の、前記所定方向に直交する方向において0.4μm間隔で500本実施し、測定されたC、NおよびOの濃度(質量%)をそれぞれ[C]、[N]および[O]とした際に、
 全測定点での、36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値が90以上であり、
 36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
 [O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
 前記線分析ごとに、[O]の分布線を作成し、前記分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数を測定したとき、前記500本の線分析での前記交点の数の平均値が20~150個である、
 上記(1)または(2)に記載のチタン材。
 (4)[O]/[C]が2.0以下である測定点の個数割合が90%以上である、
 上記(3)に記載のチタン材。
 (5)チタン材の加工品であって、
 前記加工品の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値が5.0質量%以上であり、
 前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域において、飛行時間型二次イオン質量分析法を用いた深さ分析を行ったときに、
 m/zが59の負イオンの検出強度を、表面から2000nmの深さ位置でのm/zが59の負イオンの検出強度で標準化した値の最大値が30.0以下である、
 チタン材の加工品。
 (6)前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値が5.0質量%以上である、
 上記(5)に記載のチタン材の加工品。
 (7)前記加工品がチタン板の加工品であり、
 電子プローブマイクロアナライザーを用いて、前記加工品の表面上の所定方向における0.4μm間隔で500点の線分析を、前記表面上の、前記所定方向に直交する方向において0.4μm間隔で500本実施し、測定されたC、NおよびOの濃度(質量%)をそれぞれ[C]、[N]および[O]とした際に、
 全測定点での、36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値が90以上であり、
 36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
 [O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
 前記線分析ごとに、[O]の分布線を作成し、前記分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数を測定したとき、前記500本の線分析での前記交点の数の平均値が20~150個である、
 上記(5)または(6)に記載のチタン材の加工品。
 (8)[O]/[C]が2.0以下である測定点の個数割合が90%以上である、

 本発明によれば、優れた親油性および潤滑性を有するチタン材、加工品、および製品を得ることができる。

 本発明者らは、優れた親油性および潤滑性を有するチタン材などを得るために、鋭意検討し、以下の知見を得た。
 上述のように、チタン材の潤滑性を高めるため、チタン材の表面に液体潤滑剤を塗布することが考えられる。しかし、チタン材の表面は親油性が低いため、液体潤滑剤を塗布したとしても、十分な潤滑性を得ることができない場合がある。そこで、本発明者らは、チタン材の表面の親油性が低い原因について検討を行った。チタン材の表面には、大気酸化によりチタン酸化物などが形成されている。このチタン酸化物などは親水性であるため、塗布した液体潤滑剤をはじいていると考えるに至った。
 本発明者らのさらなる検討から、チタン材の表層におけるC含有量を高めることで、チタン材表面の親油性を高めることができることを見出した。ただし、チタン材の表層でTiCが過剰に形成されてしまうと、チタン材表層が硬くなり、プレス成形時に微小なクラックが発生する。その結果、チタン材の母材が露出し、凝着を抑制できなくなる。そのため、潤滑性を高めるためには、チタン材の表層におけるC含有量を高めつつ、TiCをできるだけ形成させないようにCを固溶させることが重要である。
 ここで、チタン材の表層に存在するCが、固溶Cであるか、TiCとなっているかは、飛行時間型二次イオン質量分析法(TOF-SIMS:Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry)を用いた深さ分析により調べることができる。TOF-SIMSでは、一次イオンをチタン材の表面に照射し、チタン材の表面から放出される二次イオンの強度を測定することで定性・定量分析を行う。
 本発明では、二次イオンとして放出される、TiCに由来する47TiCイオン(m/zが59の負イオン)、に着目する。チタン材の表層における47TiCイオンの検出強度を低くすることができれば、チタン材の表層に存在するCの多くは、固溶Cとして存在することが分かる。
 本発明は上記の知見に基づいてなされたものである。以下、本発明の一実施形態に係るチタン材の各要件について詳しく説明する。
 1.チタン材
 本実施形態において、チタン材には、例えば、チタン板が含まれる。チタン板の板厚は、例えば、エキスパンドメタルなどの加工品として用いる場合、またはチタン材もしくは加工品を含む固体高分子型水電解装置などの製品とする場合には、0.5~5.0mmとすることが好ましい。
 2.チタン母材
 本実施形態に係るチタン材の母材の種類は、特に限定されない。母材として、例えば、工業用純チタン、およびチタン合金が挙げられる。
 工業用純チタンは、JIS、ASTMなどで規定されており、通常、Ti含有量は、99質量%以上となる。一般的な工業用純チタンとして、JIS H 4600:2012に規定される工業用純チタン1種~4種、またはASTM/ASME Grade1~4が例示される。工業用純チタンの不純物元素として代表的な元素は、C、H、O、N、およびFeである。上述した工業用純チタンにおいて、上記元素の含有量は、C:0.08質量%以下、H:0.015質量%以下、O:0.40質量%以下、N:0.05質量%以下、Fe:0.50質量%以下である。その他元素であるAl、V、Si、Cr、Ni、Zr、Cu、Nb、Mo、Mn、Sn、Ta、Pd、Pt、Ru、B、Au、Ag、Hf、REM(希土類元素)などは、機械的特性などの性能を悪化させない限りにおいて、各々が0.1質量%以下、合計が0.4質量%以下の範囲で含んでもよい。
 また、チタン合金とは、通常、Tiを70質量%以上含む合金である。チタン合金としては、α型チタン合金、α+β型チタン合金またはβ型チタン合金が挙げられる。α型チタン合金としては、例えば、高耐食性合金(JIS H 4600:2012に規定される11種~13種、17種、19種~22種、ならびにASTM規格のGrade7、11、13、14、17、30、31で規定されるチタン合金、および、さらに種々の元素を少量含有させたチタン合金)、Ti-0.5Cu、Ti-1.0Cu、Ti-1.0Cu-0.5Nb、Ti-1.0Cu-1.0Sn-0.3Si-0.25Nbなどがある。いずれもC:0.08質量%以下、H:0.015質量%以下、O:0.40質量%以下、N:0.05質量%以下である。また、その他元素のAl、V、Si、Cr、Ni、Zr、Cu、Nb、Mo、Mn、Sn、Ta、Pd、Pt、Ru、B、Au、Ag、Hf、REM(希土類元素)などのうち、上述した規格で記載された元素および主要添加元素に含まれないものは、機械的特性などの性能を悪化させない限りにおいて、各々が0.1質量%以下、合計が0.4質量%以下の範囲で含んでもよい。
 α+β型チタン合金としては、例えば、Ti-3Al-2.5V、Ti-5Al-1Fe、Ti-6Al-4Vなどがある。β型チタン合金としては、例えば、Ti-11.5Mo-6Zr-4.5Sn、Ti-8V-3Al-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr、Ti-13V-11Cr-3Al、Ti-15V-3Al-3Cr-3Sn、Ti-20V-4Al-1Sn、Ti-22V-4Alなどがある。いずれもC:0.08質量%以下、H:0.015質量%以下、O:0.40質量%以下、N:0.05質量%以下である。また、その他元素のAl、V、Si、Cr、Ni、Zr、Cu、Nb、Mo、Mn、Sn、Ta、Pd、Pt、Ru、B、Au、Ag、Hf、REM(希土類元素)などのうち、上述した規格で記載された元素および主要添加元素に含まれないものは、機械的特性などの性能を悪化させない限りにおいて、各々が0.1質量%以下、合計が0.4質量%以下の範囲で含んでもよい。
 3.チタン材表層の化学組成
 <C含有量>
 本実施形態のチタン材において、チタン材の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値が5.0質量%以上である。液体潤滑剤との親和性を向上させるためには、チタン材の表層の化学組成を調整することが重要である。ただし、後述するC含有量の測定方法では、チタン材の最表面の測定結果は付着有機物などのコンタミネーションの影響を受けやすい。そのため、本発明ではチタン材の表面から10nm未満の領域については除外し、チタン材の表面から10~50nm深さの領域におけるC含有量を規定することとした。
 C含有量の平均値が5.0質量%未満では、液体潤滑剤との親和性が得られず、十分な潤滑性が得られない。そのため、C含有量の平均値は5.0質量%以上とする。C含有量の平均値の上限は、特に限定しない。ただし、C含有量の平均値が高すぎると、CがTiと結合してTiCを形成しやすくなる。そして、仮にTiCが多く形成されると、チタン材表層が硬くなり、プレス成形時に微小なクラックが発生するおそれがある。その結果、チタン材の母材が露出し、液体潤滑剤との親和性が不十分となるおそれがある。また、親和性が不十分となり、良好な潤滑性が得られないおそれがある。そのため、C含有量の平均値は40.0質量%以下であることが好ましく、20.0質量%以下がさらに好ましい。
 <N含有量>
 本実施形態のチタン材において、チタン材の表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値が5.0質量%以上であることが好ましい。液体潤滑剤との親和性を向上させるためには、チタン材の表層の化学組成を調整することが重要である。また、上述したC含有量とは異なり、N含有量の測定結果は、チタン材表面の付着有機物などのコンタミネーションの影響を受けにくい。そのため、本発明ではチタン材の表面から50nm深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量を規定することとした。
 チタン材の表層におけるN含有量の最小値を5.0質量%以上とすることで、チタン材の表層に固溶したCとTiとがTiCを形成する反応と、NとTiとがTiNを形成する反応とが拮抗する。その結果、TiCの生成を抑制し、Cを固溶状態で留めることができる。なお、TiNは、TiCほど表面硬さを増加させないため、チタン材の潤滑性に悪影響は及ぼさない。N含有量の上限値は特に制限しないが、後述する製造方法でチタン材を製造した場合、チタン材の表層におけるN含有量の上限は20.0質量%となる。
 チタン材の表層の化学組成は、以下の方法で測定する。グロー放電発光分光分析法(GD-OES:Glow discharge optical emission spectrometry)により、チタン材の表層の化学組成を測定する。スパッタリングはArで行う。測定に際して、放電条件を35Wの定電力モード、Ar圧力を600Pa、放電領域をφ4mmの平面状の領域とし、測定ピッチを約1nmとする。そして、チタン材の表面から50nm深さ位置まで、深さ方向にスパッタリングしながら化学組成の分析を行い、CおよびN含有量(質量%)の深さ方向におけるプロファイル(以下、単に「プロファイル」という。)を取得する。なお、測定対象元素は、Ti、Fe、O、C、Nに加えて、チタン材に0.1%以上含まれる元素とし、測定された全元素の合計含有量が100%となるように換算する。
 測定後の試料を用いて、上記の測定のスパッタリングにより削られた深さを、表面粗度計で測定して確認する。そして、装置によって自動的に出力された深さ毎の含有量を、表面粗度計で測定した深さで校正する。このようにしてチタン材の深さ方向に連続的に測定されたCおよびN含有量(質量%)のプロファイルから、チタン材の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値、およびチタン材の表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値を算出する。
 <47TiC標準化強度の最大値>
 本実施形態のチタン材において、表層でのC含有量が上記規定を満足するのに加えて、表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域において、TOF-SIMSを用いた深さ分析を行ったときに、m/zが59の負イオンの検出強度を、表面から2000nmの深さ位置でのm/zが59の負イオンの検出強度で標準化した値(以下、「47TiC標準化強度」ともいう。)の最大値が30.0以下である。47TiC標準化強度の最大値は低ければ低いほど好ましいため下限を設ける必要はないが、製造可能な下限値は1.5である。
 液体潤滑剤との親和性を向上させるためには、チタン材の表層の化学組成を調整することが重要である。そのため、本発明ではチタン材の表面から50nm深さ位置までの領域に着目することとした。なお、以下の説明において、47TiC標準化強度の深さ方向におけるプロファイルを、「47TiC強度プロファイル」ともいう。
 47TiC標準化強度の最大値が30.0超であると、チタン材の表層に存在する過剰のTiCによって、チタン材表層が硬くなり、プレス成形時に微小なクラックが発生する。その結果、チタン材の母材が露出し、十分な潤滑性および親油性が得られない。そのため、チタン材の表面から50nm位置までの領域における47TiC標準化強度の最大値は、30.0以下とする。
 チタン材の表層の化学組成は、以下の方法で測定する。TOF-SIMSにより、チタン材の表層の化学組成を測定する。この装置において、一次イオン種をBi、一次イオンの加速電圧を30keV、測定範囲を50μmとする。また、スパッタイオン種をCs、スパッタイオンの加速電圧を1keV、スパッタリングはSiO換算で0.061nm/回とする。
 まず、チタン材をアセトンに浸漬して10分間超音波洗浄後、表面をエタノールで拭き取ることで、チタン材表面に付着した汚れなどを除去する。そして、チタン材の表面から50nm深さ位置まで、深さ方向にスパッタリングしながら化学組成の分析を行い、チタン材の表面から放出される二次イオンである、TiC由来の47TiC(m/z:59)の検出強度の絶対値のプロファイルを取得する。続いて、チタン材の表面から2000nm深さ位置までスパッタリングを続け、2000nm深さ位置における47TiC(m/z:59)の検出強度を取得する。2000nm深さ位置での47TiCの検出強度のデータは、チタン材の母材の化学組成の代表として、47TiCの検出強度の絶対値のプロファイルを標準化するために使用する。
 上記のようにして取得した47TiCの検出強度の絶対値を、深さ位置毎に、2000nm深さ位置での47TiCの検出強度で除して標準化することで、深さ位置毎の47TiC標準化強度、すなわち、47TiC強度プロファイルを得る。そして、47TiC標準化強度の最大値を求める。
 4.特性
 表面硬さが大きいと、プレス成形中にチタン材の表面にクラックが発生し、チタン材の母材が露出するおそれがある。その結果、液体潤滑剤との親和性が低下するおそれがある。そのため、本実施形態に係るチタン材の表面硬さは、400HV0.025以下であることが好ましい。上述したようにTiCの形成を抑制することで、チタン材の表面硬さを400HV0.025以下とすることができる。なお、「HV0.025」は、試験力を0.245N(25gf)として、ビッカース硬さ試験を実施した場合の「硬さ記号」を意味する(JIS Z 2244-1:2020参照。)。
 表面硬さは、以下の方法で測定する。チタン材がチタン板の場合、チタン板の板幅方向における中心において、圧延方向に1mm間隔で10点、JIS Z 2244-1:2020で規定されている方法に準拠して、チタン板表面の硬さを測定する。ここで、荷重は0.245N(25gf)、保持時間を10秒とする。そして、10点の測定値のうち、最大値と最小値とを除いた8点の測定値を平均した値を、表面硬さとする。
 5.伝導性
 本実施形態に係るチタン材がチタン板であり、固体高分子型水電解装置などの製品として用いられる際には、優れた熱伝導性および電気伝導性(以下、まとめて「伝導性」ともいう。)を有することが望ましい。
 本実施形態のチタン板においては、表層のC含有量を高めているため、優れた伝導性を有する。しかしながら、そのような状態での表層は非常に硬質であるため、プレス成形などの際にクラックが生じる場合がある。クラックの発生によってチタン板の表面に空隙などが形成されると、熱・電気を伝達する面積が減少するため、伝導性を劣化させるおそれがある。
 また、空隙にできる新生面は大気等の雰囲気中の酸素によって酸化され、新生面には伝導性が低いチタン酸化物が形成される。そのため、空隙が生じた場合、チタン板と他の伝導部材または物質とを圧力をかけて押し付け、チタン板の新生面と他の伝導部材または物質とを接触させたとしても、伝導性を確保できないおそれがある。
 そこで、本発明者らは、チタン板などのプレス成形時のクラックの発生を抑制し、伝導性を確保するための方法について検討を行った。
 伝導性向上の効果は、チタン窒化物よりもチタン炭化物の方が約10倍高いことが分かった。そのため、チタン板表層にCを濃化させることが有効である。そして、チタン板の表面において、C含有量が極端に低い領域を低減させる。このように、チタン板表層の化学組成を制御することで、チタン板の伝導性を担保することができる。
 しかしながら、このようにチタン板表層の化学組成を制御しても、Cの濃化部はその他の部分よりも脆いため、Cの濃化部を起点として、プレス成形などの際にクラックが生じるおそれがある。そこで、さらに検討を重ねた結果、Cの濃化部にOを含有させることで、伝導性を大きく低下させることなく、かつ、後述のようにCおよびOが濃化した領域の分布状態を制御することで、クラックの発生を抑制できることを見出した。
 チタン板の表層に均一にCおよびOが濃化している場合、プレス成形などの際にチタン板の表面に割れが生じるおそれがある。種々の検討の結果、チタン板表面にCおよびOが濃化した領域を予め島状に分布させておくことで、クラックの発生を抑制できることを見出した。
 本発明において、チタン板表面にCおよびOが濃化した領域が島状に分布しているかどうかは、電子プローブマイクロアナライザー(EPMA:Electron Probe Micro Analyzer)を用いて測定されるチタン板表面の化学組成を指標として評価する。
 具体的には、チタン板の表面上の所定方向において、0.4μm間隔で500点の線分析を行う。また、当該線分析は、チタン板の表面上の、上記の所定方向に直交する方向において、0.4μm間隔で500本実施する。測定されたC、NおよびOの濃度(質量%)は、それぞれ[C]、[N]および[O]とする。以下、まず測定方法について説明する。
 図1A~Dは、[C]、[N]および[O]の測定方法を説明するための図である。図1Aはチタン板11と測定領域12との関係を示す図、図1Bは測定領域12の拡大図、図1Cは図1Bにおいて一点鎖線で囲った領域Aおよび領域Bの拡大図である。図1Cにおいて、測定点13を黒点、線分析を行う際の仮想線14を二点鎖線で示している。
 図1Bにおいて、紙面における左右方向D1および上下方向D2を矢印で示している。左右方向D1と上下方向D2とは直交している。本実施形態において、左右方向D1は「所定方向」に対応し、上下方向D2は「所定方向に直交する方向」に対応している。
 図1Aに示すように、まず、チタン板11の表面上で測定領域12の位置および大きさを決定する。ただし、測定領域12は、チタン板11の表面上であって、チタン板11の圧延方向における中央部付近であり、かつチタン板11の板幅方向における中央部付近とする。また、次に説明する測定点が全て含まれるように、測定領域12は200μm×200μmの大きさとすればよい。
 次に、電界放出型電子線マイクロアナライザー(FE-EPMA:Field Emission-EPMA)により、チタン板表面の化学組成を測定する。図1B,Cに示すようにして、測定領域12において、測定点13aと測定点13bとを結ぶ仮想線14aに沿って、[C]、[N]および[O]を測定する。測定は、各測定点13の間隔が0.4μmとなるように、左右方向D1に500点行う。
 その後、測定点13cと測定点13dとを結ぶ仮想線14bに沿って、同様に[C]、[N]および[O]を測定する。仮想線14bは、仮想線14aと0.4μm離れている。同様にして、各仮想線14の間隔が0.4μmとなるように、上下方向D2における仮想線14の本数が500本となるまで、測定を行う。このようにして、左右方向D1に500点、上下方向D2に500点の合計250,000点の測定点13での[C]、[N]および[O]のデータが得られる。
 なお、チタン板における[C]、[N]および[O]の定量は、標準試料を用いた測定結果との比較により行う。具体的には、[C]は、100%C(グラファイト)を用いた測定結果と比較して定量し、バックグラウンドは純度99.9%の純Tiの鏡面で測定したC強度とする。[N]は、TiNを用いた測定結果と比較して定量する。ただし、[N]の測定では、測定値を単純にN強度とすることはできない。TiのTiLι(イオタ)線がNのNKα線と重複するためである。そのため、純度99.9%の純Tiの鏡面でTiKα線およびTiLι線の強度を測定することで、予めTiKα線とTiLι線との強度比を求めておく。続いて、チタン板およびTiNの[N]を測定する際に、TiKα線の強度を測定し、当該測定値と上記した強度比とから、TiLι線の強度を算出する。そして、N強度の測定値から算出されたTiLι線の強度を差し引くことで、NKα線の強度を求め、当該強度に基づき、[N]を定量する。[O]は、アルミナ(Al)を用いた測定結果と比較し、バックグラウンドは純度99.9%の純Tiの鏡面で測定したO強度とする。
 全測定点での36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値:90以上
 上述した各測定点において、36[C]+3.6[N]の値を算出し、全測定点、計250,000点での平均値を算出する。この値が90未満では、チタン炭化物およびチタン窒化物の濃度が不十分であり、良好な伝導性を得ることができない場合がある。そのため、優れた導電性を得たい場合は、全測定点での36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値は90以上とすることが好ましい。全測定点での36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値は、100以上であることがより好ましく、110以上であることがさらに好ましく、120以上とすることがさらに好ましい。全測定点での36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値に上限を設ける必要はないが、250が製造可能な上限である。
 36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合:35%以下
 上述した各測定点における36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下となる測定点の数を数え、全測定点、計250,000点に対する割合を算出する。この割合が35%超では、チタン板表面上にチタン炭化物およびチタン窒化物の濃度が極端に少ない場所が存在し、その場所での伝導性が低下するため、チタン板としても良好な伝導性を得ることができない場合がある。そのため、36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合は35%以下とすることが好ましい。36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合は30%以下とすることがより好ましい。36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合は、低ければ低いほど好ましいため下限を設ける必要はなく、0%であってもよいし、0.01%以上であってもよい。
 [O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合:35%以下
 図2は、[O]/[C]の値と累積相対度数との関係を示すグラフである。横軸に[O]/[C]の値、縦軸には、[O]/[C]の値毎に、各測定点の累積相対度数を示している。
 [O]/[C]が0.2以下となる測定点は、[O]よりも[C]が高いため、脆くなりやすく、クラックの起点となるおそれがある。このような[O]/[C]が0.2以下となる測定点が全測定点のうち35%を超える場合、すなわち、図2において破線で示した例の場合、チタン板の表面でクラックが生じ、大きなクラックに発展する場合がある。そのため、図2において実線で示した例のように、[O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合は35%以下とすることが好ましい。[O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合は、30%以下とすることがより好ましい。また、[O]/[C]が0.1以下である測定点の個数割合は、20%以下とすることが好ましい。[O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合および[O]/[C]が0.1以下である測定点の個数割合は、いずれも低ければ低いほど好ましいため下限を設ける必要はなく、0%であってもよいし、1%以上であってもよい。
 一方、[O]/[C]を2.0以下とすることで、チタン板の表層においてCとOとを適切な比率で含有させることができ、Oが過剰に濃化することによるクラックの発生、および伝導性の低下を抑制することができる。そのため、図2において実線で示した例のように、[O]/[C]が2.0以下である測定点の個数割合が90%以上とすることが好ましい。[O]/[C]が2.0以下である測定点の個数割合は、高ければ高いほど好ましいため上限を設ける必要はなく、100%であってもよい。
 また、[O]/[C]の最大値を7.0以下とすることで、Oが過剰に濃化することによる伝導性の低下を抑制することができる。そのため、[O]/[C]の最大値は7.0以下とすることが好ましく、4.0以下とすることがより好ましい。
 [O]の分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数:20~150個
 図3A,Bは、測定位置と各元素の濃度分布との関係を示すグラフである。図3A,Bにおいて、横軸に上述した仮想線14上の左右方向D1における位置(図1B参照。)、各位置における縦軸に[C]および[O]を示している。なお、図3A,Bで示しているのは、それぞれ、上述した500本の仮想線14のうちの一例である。図3A,Bにおいて、[C]は破線、[O]は実線で示している。また、図3A,Bにおいて、一点鎖線で示した直線Pは、[C]の平均値の0.2倍となる濃度である。なお、説明の都合上、[N]の濃度分布は省略している。
 図3A,Bに示される直線Pと[O]の分布線との交点の数を測定する。例えば、図3Aに示した例では53個、図3Bに示した例では209個であった。この測定を500本の仮想線14の全てについて行い、交点の平均値を求める。例えば、図3Aに示した例では62個、図3Bに示した例では208個であった。
 上述したように、チタン板の表層にOが均一に濃化していると、成形加工の際にクラックが発生するおそれがある。そのため、Oが濃化した部分が、チタン板の表面で適度に分散している必要がある。すなわち、図3Aに示した例のように、[O]が低い部分と、[O]が高い部分とが、適度に繰り返され、[O]のピークが適切な頻度で測定されることが好ましい。
 上述のようにして求めた平均値が20個未満であると、[O]のピークの幅が広すぎる、または[O]のピークの数が少なすぎる。その結果、それぞれ、[O]が高い領域が広すぎる、または[O]が低い領域が広すぎることとなり、いずれの場合もクラックが生じるおそれがある。一方、平均値が150個超であると、[O]のピークの幅が狭すぎる、または[O]のピークの数が多すぎる。その結果、Oがほぼ均一に分布していることになり、クラックが生じるおそれがある。そのため、[O]の分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数は20~150個とすることが好ましい。[O]の分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数は、100個以下とすることがより好ましい。
 5.加工品
 本実施形態に係るチタン材は、優れた親油性および潤滑性を有するため、種々の加工を施して、加工品として用いることができる。すなわち、加工品は、上述したチタン材を加工したものである。加工の方法としては、例えば、プレス加工、せん断加工などが挙げられる。チタン材の加工品として、例えば、エキスパンドメタルが挙げられる。
 加工品の表層の化学組成は、上述したチタン材表層の化学組成に関する規定を満足することが好ましい。同様に、加工品の表層での47TiC標準化強度の最大値についても、上述したチタン材表層での47TiC標準化強度の最大値に関する規定を満足することが好ましい。また、加工品表面の硬さは、上述したチタン材表面の硬さに関する規定を満足することが好ましい。これらの規定を満足することが好ましい理由については、チタン材について説明した理由と同じであるため、説明は省略する。
 ただし、表層の化学組成および47TiC標準化強度の最大値の測定は、表面分析を実施するために適した平滑面を有する領域で行うものとする。また、表面硬さの測定も、同様に、硬さ測定に適した平滑面を有する領域において、圧延方向に関係なく行うものとする。1つの平滑面を有する領域において、1mm間隔で10点の測定点を確保できない場合は、複数の平滑面を有する領域で、それぞれ1mm間隔で可能な限り測定を行い、合計が10点となるように測定位置を選び、ビッカース硬さを測定する。チタン材、またはチタン材の加工品を用いて、例えば、固体高分子型水電解装置などの製品としてもよい。
 7.製造方法
 本実施形態のチタン材の製造方法は、特に限定されない。例えば、以下のような製造方法により、安定して製造することができる。
 7-1.準備工程
 準備工程では、熱間圧延用素材を用意する。この素材は、工業用純チタンおよびチタン合金であればよく、その種類は特に限定されない。なお、熱間圧延用素材は、常法に従い製造すればよい。例えば、アーク溶解などにより、チタン素材の鋳塊を製造し、熱間鍛造して、熱間圧延用素材とすればよい。
 上記熱間圧延用素材を熱間圧延し、熱延材を製造する。熱間圧延の際の条件も特に限定されない。所望する特性に応じて、適宜調整すればよい。得られた熱延材に、適宜、熱処理を行ってもよい。
 7-2.スケール除去工程
 スケール除去工程では、熱間圧延、熱処理などによって形成された酸化スケールを除去する。スケール除去の方法および条件は、特に限定されない。例えば、ショットブラストを施した後に酸洗をするか、または機械研削をしてもよい。
 7-3.冷間圧延工程
 冷間圧延工程では、スケールを除去した後、熱延材に冷間圧延を施し、冷延材を製造する。冷間圧延の際には、Cを含む冷延油を用いる。本実施形態のチタン材の製造方法では、冷延油として、例えば、鉱物油またはソリュブル油を用いることができる。鉱物油またはソリュブル油を用いることで、冷間圧延中に、メカノケミカル反応が生じる。この結果、熱延材の表層に、Cが過飽和に固溶される。なお、冷延油は、市販のものを用いればよい。
 また、冷間圧延は、通常、センジミア圧延機で行われる。センジミア圧延機では一対のワークロールにチタン材を複数回往復通過させて、圧延する。ここで、圧延機のワークロールにチタン材を通過させることをパスと呼ぶ。したがって、冷間圧延において、通常、複数回のパスを経て、目標とする厚さに制御される。つまり、冷間圧延は、複数回のパスを経る工程である。
 平均圧下率が5%未満では、メカノケミカル反応を促進させることができない。一方、平均圧下率が20%超では、過剰にCが固溶された結果、過剰にTiCが形成される。そのため、平均圧下率は、5~20%とする。平均圧下率は、5%超とすることが好ましく、7%超とすることがより好ましい。また、平均圧下率は、19%未満とすることが好ましく、17%未満とすることがより好ましい。
 なお、上述した平均圧下率は、以下の(ii)式で得られる各パスの圧下率の平均値である。

 但し、上記(ii)式中の各記号は、以下のように定義される。
 h1(mm):パス前のチタン材の厚さ
 h2(mm):パス後のチタン材の厚さ
 7-4.洗浄工程
 洗浄工程では、冷間圧延の後、冷延材の表面に付着した冷延油を洗浄し、水洗する。その後、冷延材を乾燥させる。冷延油を洗浄する段階において、NaOHおよびKOHを含むアルカリ洗浄剤を用い、その濃度は2.5~5.0vol.%とする。また、冷延材を乾燥させる段階において、冷延材の表面に残存した水滴をゴムローラーにて除去する。これにより、冷延油を適切に冷延材の表面に残存させることができる。
 冷延油を洗浄するために、アルカリ洗浄剤の種類は、NaOHおよびKOHを含むものである限り、特に限定しない。例えば、アルカリ洗浄剤(ユケン工業株式会社製 パクナDST-58-L)を使用することが好ましい。また、アルカリ洗浄剤の濃度は、2.5~5.0vol.%とする。アルカリ洗浄剤の濃度が2.5vol.%未満では、冷延油が過剰に冷延材の表面に残存し、焼鈍工程においてTiCが形成されるおそれがある。一方、アルカリ洗浄剤の濃度が5.0vol.%超では、冷延油が除去され、平均C含有量を5.0質量%以上とすることができない。そのため、上記アルカリ洗浄剤の濃度は、2.5~5.0vol.%とする。
 洗浄工程において、2.5~5.0vol.%のアルカリ洗浄剤を用い、ゴムローラーにて水滴を除去すること以外の条件は、特に限定しない。例えば、以下のような条件とすればよい。25℃においてpH7~12の範囲に調整したアルカリ洗浄剤を50~70℃に加熱し、冷延材を2~5分浸漬する。その後、60℃の純水を用いて2~5分スプレー洗浄、または60℃の純水に冷延材を2~5分浸漬する。そして、上述したように、冷延材の表面に残存した水滴をゴムローラーで除去した後、ドライヤーで2~5分間乾燥させる。なお、ゴムローラーにて水滴を除去することにより、チタン板表面にCおよびOが濃化した領域を予め島状に分布させることも可能となる。
 なお、洗浄後には、酸洗、研削などの表面層の除去は行わない。冷間圧延工程において冷延材の表面に付着および濃化させたCが除去されるためである。
 7-5.焼鈍工程
 焼鈍工程では、所定の雰囲気で加熱保持することで、チタン材の表層における化学組成を調整し、本実施形態に係るチタン材を得る。雰囲気は、不活性ガスが1atm以上の雰囲気、または純度が99%以上の窒素ガスが1atm以上の雰囲気とすることが好ましい。いずれの雰囲気の場合も、不活性ガスまたは窒素ガス以外の成分は、不活性ガスおよび不純物ガスであることが好ましく、露点は-40℃以下とすることが好ましい。OおよびHOの侵入を極力避け、チタン材の表面におけるTiとCおよびNとの反応を阻害させないようにするためである。
 不活性ガスが1atm以上の雰囲気で焼鈍を行うことで、冷間圧延工程で固溶および付着させたCを、TiCの形成を抑制しながら、チタン材の表層に固溶させることができる。また、窒素ガスが1atm以上の雰囲気で焼鈍を行うことで、TiがNと結合してTiNを形成する反応と、TiがCと結合してTiCを形成する反応とが拮抗し、TiCの生成が抑制される。なお、不活性ガスおよび窒素ガスの分圧の上限は特に限定しない。焼鈍設備の都合上、通常、分圧は10atm以下となる。
 上述した雰囲気での焼鈍温度は600~850℃、焼鈍時間は0.5~10分とする。焼鈍温度を600℃以上、焼鈍時間を0.5分以上とすることで、TiCが生成する反応を抑制し、TiNを優先的に生成させることができる。また、焼鈍温度を850℃以下、焼鈍時間を10分以下とすることで、固溶Cがチタン材の内部で拡散することによる表層でのC含有量の低下を抑制することができる。
 7-6.加工品製造工程
 加工品製造工程では、上述のようにして得られたチタン材を加工して、加工品を得る。加工方法は、特に限定されない。例えば、プレス加工を施してもよく、せん断加工を施してもよい。プレス加工、せん断加工などを施して得られる加工品として、例えば、エキスパンドメタルなどが挙げられる。また、チタン材または加工品を使用した固体高分子型水電解装置などの製品を製造してもよい。
 以下、実施例によって本実施形態に係るチタン材をより具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
 表1に示す種類のチタン素材を用意した。このチタン素材は、熱間圧延などを経て、製造されたものである。なお、「JIS1種」とは、JIS H 4600:2012に規定される1種の工業用純チタンを意味し、「JIS2種」とは、JIS H 4600:2012に規定される2種の工業用純チタンを意味し、「JIS3種」とは、JIS H 4600:2012に規定される3種の工業用純チタンを意味する。
 これらのチタン素材に、鉱物油を用いて表1に示す平均圧下率で冷間加工を施した後、表1に示す条件で、洗浄工程および焼鈍工程を施し、表1に示す板厚のチタン板を得た。なお、表1の「洗浄液の種類」の欄における「NaOH+KOH」は、表1に記載される濃度のアルカリ洗浄剤(ユケン工業株式会社製パクナDST-58-L)を用いたことを意味する。また、「HF+HNO」は、46.0~48.0質量%のHF水溶液および65~66質量%のHNO水溶液をそれぞれ1vol.%および4vol.%となるように混合したふっ硝酸を用いたことを意味する。
 上述のようにして得られた各チタン板について、チタン板表層におけるCおよびNの含有量、および47TiC標準化強度の最大値を測定した。また、親油性、表面硬さ、および潤滑性の評価を行った。
 <チタン板表層におけるCおよびNの含有量>
 チタン板の表層の化学組成は、以下の方法で測定した。堀場製作所社製(JOBIN YVON) GD-Profiler 2を用い、GD-OESにより、チタン板の表層の化学組成を測定した。スパッタリングはArで行った。この装置において、放電条件を35Wの定電力モード、Ar圧力を600Pa、放電領域をφ4mmの平面状の領域とし、測定ピッチを約1nmとした。そして、チタン板の表面から50nm深さ位置まで、深さ方向にスパッタリングしながら化学組成の分析を行い、CおよびN含有量(質量%)のプロファイルを取得した。なお、測定対象元素は、Ti、Fe、O、C、Nに加えて、チタン材に0.1%以上含まれる元素とし、測定された全元素の合計含有量が100%となるように換算した。
 測定後の試料を用いて、上記の測定のスパッタリングにより削られた深さを、表面粗度計で測定して確認した。そして、装置によって自動的に出力された深さ毎の含有量を、表面粗度計で測定した深さで校正した。このようにしてチタン板の深さ方向に連続的に測定されたCおよびN含有量(質量%)のプロファイルから、チタン板の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値、およびチタン板の表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値を算出した。
 <47TiC標準化強度の最大値>
 チタン板の表層の化学組成は、以下の方法で測定した。IONTOF社製TOF-SIMSを用い、TOF-SIMSにより、チタン板の表層の化学組成を測定した。この装置において、一次イオン種をBi、一次イオンの加速電圧を30keV、測定範囲を50μmとする。また、スパッタイオン種をCs、スパッタイオンの加速電圧を1keV、スパッタリングはSiO換算で0.061nm/回とした。
 まず、チタン板をアセトンに浸漬して10分間超音波洗浄後、表面をエタノールで拭き取ることで、チタン板表面に付着した汚れなどを除去した。そして、チタン板の表面から50nm深さ位置まで、深さ方向にスパッタリングしながら化学組成の分析を行い、チタン板の表面から放出される二次イオンである、TiC由来の47TiC(m/z:59)の検出強度の絶対値のプロファイルを取得した。続いて、チタン板の表面から2000nm深さ位置までスパッタリングを続け、2000nm深さ位置における47TiC(m/z:59)の検出強度を取得した。
 上記のようにして取得した47TiCの検出強度の絶対値を、深さ位置毎に、2000nm深さ位置での47TiCの検出強度で除して標準化することで、深さ位置毎の47TiC標準化強度、すなわち、47TiC強度プロファイルを得た。そして、47TiC標準化強度の最大値を求めた。
 <親油性の評価>
 親油性は、濡れ性で評価した。濡れ性は、JIS Z 0305:1998で規定される接触角法に準拠して、液体潤滑剤として用いられるタイユ製カストールS-811(以下、「鉱物油」という。)とチタン板表面との接触角を測定することで評価した。試験片には、上述したように焼鈍工程まで施した後、製品加工後の表面を模擬するため、伸び率2%でスキンパス圧延を実施したチタン板を用いた。接触角は低い方がチタン板表面と鉱物油との親和性が高いことを意味するため、接触角が15°未満である場合を親油性評価「A」、15°以上20°未満である場合を親油性評価「B」、20°以下である場合を親油性評価「C」とした。
 <表面硬さの測定>
 表面硬さは、以下の方法で測定した。チタン板の板幅方向における中心において、圧延方向に1mm間隔で10点、JIS Z2244:2009で規定されている方法に準拠して、チタン板表面の硬さを測定した。ここで、荷重は25gf(0.245N)、保持時間を10秒とした。そして、10点の測定値のうち、最大値と最小値とを除いた8点の測定値を平均した値を、表面硬さとした。
 <潤滑性の評価>
 チタン板の潤滑性は、平均摩擦係数で評価した。平均摩擦係数は、以下の方法で測定した。ピンオンディスク型摩擦・磨耗試験機を用い、チタン板の表面をピンで摺動させ、潤滑油を用いて、摩擦・磨耗試験を行った。潤滑油としては、タイユ製カストールS-811を用いた。試験は、面圧1MPa、速度0.1m/min、摺動距離2000mmの条件で行い、平均摩擦係数を算出した。また、試験で使用したピンには、日本工業規格JIS G 4805:2019に規定された高炭素クロム軸受鋼鋼材SUJ2製であり、φ3.5mm、算術平均粗さRaが0.12の平滑な面を有するものを使用した。そして、平均摩擦係数が0.30以下となった場合を潤滑性評価「A」、0.30超となった場合を潤滑性評価「B」とした。
 以下、結果をまとめて表2に示す。
 さらに、各チタン板について、上述した方法でチタン板の表面における[C]、[N]および[O]を測定した。また、各チタン板の伝導性は、下記のようにして電気伝導性により評価した。電子などによって電気と熱をともに伝導していくため、電気伝導性が高いほど熱伝導性も高いといえる。また、各チタン板にプレス成形を模擬した加工した後の伝導性およびクラックについても評価を行った。
 <電気伝導性の評価>
 電気伝導性の評価は、以下の方法で行った。電気伝導性は、貫通抵抗で評価した。図4は、貫通抵抗を測定する際の側面図である。まず、上述のチタン板から1.5cm×1.5cmで板厚ままの試験片21を採取した。そして、試験片21の両面を、1cm×1cmのカーボン製の導電性シート22で挟み、さらに2cm×2cmの白金製の電極23で挟んだ。カーボン製の導電性シートは、東レ(株)製カーボンペーパー、TGP-H-090を使用した。この状態で、10kgf/cmの荷重で押さえ、電流を1Aとして、電気抵抗αを測定した。
 予め、カーボン製の導電性シート22のみを、同白金製電極で挟み、10kgf/cmの荷重で押さえ、電流を1Aとして、電気抵抗βを測定した。この電気抵抗βは電極と導電性シートとの間の電気抵抗である。電気抵抗αから電気抵抗βを減算することで、チタン板の貫通抵抗を求めた。そして、試験No.14の貫通抵抗を基準貫通抵抗として、各試験片での貫通抵抗を基準貫通抵抗で除した値を、相対貫通抵抗として表3に示す。この相対貫通抵抗が低いほど、伝導性が高いことを意味する。
 また、各試験片に対し、プレス成形を模擬した加工を施し、貫通抵抗を測定した。加工は、まず、上述のようにして得られた各チタン板から、冷間圧延方向が引張方向と平行となるように、幅が20mmで長さが60mmの平行部を有し、平行部の標点間距離が50mmであり、かつその両端に肩部および掴み部を有する引張試験片を作製した。そして、掴み部により引張試験片を両端から引っ張り、平行部の標点間距離が15%伸びた時点で引っ張りを止めた。その後、平行部中央より1.5cm×1.5cmで板厚ままの試験片を採取し、上述した方法で貫通抵抗を測定した。そして、加工前の試験No.14の貫通抵抗を基準貫通抵抗として、各試験片での貫通抵抗を基準貫通抵抗で除した値を、相対貫通抵抗として表3に示す。
 <クラックの評価>
加工後の各引張試験片の平行部中央部において、表面を観察し、クラックの有無を評価した。表面の観察には、走査電子顕微鏡(SEM:Scanning Electron Microscope)を用いた。そして、試験片の表面を、倍率200倍で観察した。
 クラックの長さが50μm以下の場合は、クラックなしとみなし、「A」と評価した。クラックの長さが50μm超100μm以下の場合は、貫通抵抗に大きな影響を与えるクラックはないとみなし、「B」と評価した。クラックの長さが100μm超200μm以下の場合は、貫通抵抗に影響を及ぼす微細なクラックが生じたとみなし、「C」と評価した。クラックの長さが200μm超の場合は、貫通抵抗に影響を及ぼす粗大なクラックが生じたとみなし、「D」と評価した。
 発明例である試験No.2~7および16~21では、好ましい製造条件を満足したため、本発明の要件を満足し、良好な親油性および潤滑性を有していた。また、チタン板表面にCおよびOが濃化した領域を予め島状に分布させておくことで、クラックの発生を抑制できたため、電気伝導性が優れる結果となった。一方、比較例である試験No.1、および8~15では、本発明の好ましい製造条件を満足しなかったため、本発明の要件を満足しなかった。
 具体的には、試験No.1では、鉱物油を用いて冷間圧延を行ったが、焼鈍工程を行わなかった。そのため、冷間圧延にて冷延板の表面に付着させたCを固溶させることができず、平均C含有量が低くなった。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。試験No.8では、鉱物油を用いて冷間圧延を行ったが、真空雰囲気で焼鈍を長時間行った。そのため、チタン板の内部にCが拡散し、表層における平均C含有量が減少した。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。
 試験No.9では、冷間圧延工程での平均圧下率が高かった。そのため、過剰にCが固溶され、焼鈍工程を経て過剰にTiCが形成された。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。試験No.10では、洗浄液の濃度が高かった。そのため、冷間圧延工程において冷延板の表面に残存させたCが除去され、平均C含有量が減少した。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。
 試験No.11では、窒素ガスの分圧が低く、焼鈍温度が高かったため、表面の平均C含有量が減少した。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。試験No.12では、焼鈍温度が低く、焼鈍時間が長かったため、TiCが過剰に形成された。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。試験No.13では、鉱物油を用いて冷間圧延を行ったが、洗浄工程において、不織布ローラーにて水滴を除去した。そのため、冷延板の表面に冷延油を適切に残存させることができず、チタン板の表層にCを十分に固溶させることができなかった。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。
 試験No.14では、洗浄工程において、洗浄液の濃度が高く、不織布ローラーにて水滴を除去した。そのため、冷延板の表面に冷延油を適切に残存させることができず、チタン板の表層にCを十分に固溶させることができなかった。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。試験No.15では、洗浄工程において酸洗を施した。そのため、酸洗により、冷間圧延工程にて固溶させたCが除去されたため、チタン板の表層にCを十分に固溶させることができなかった。その結果、親油性および潤滑性が不十分となった。
 本発明によれば、優れた親油性および潤滑性を有するチタン材、加工品、および製品を得ることができる。

Claims (11)

  1.  チタン材の表面から10~50nmの深さの領域におけるC含有量の平均値が5.0質量%以上であり、
     前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域において、飛行時間型二次イオン質量分析法を用いた深さ分析を行ったときに、
     m/zが59の負イオンの検出強度を、表面から2000nmの深さ位置でのm/zが59の負イオンの検出強度で標準化した値の最大値が30.0以下である、
     チタン材。
  2.  前記表面から50nmの深さ位置までの領域におけるN含有量の最小値が5.0質量%以上である、
     請求項1に記載のチタン材。
  3.  前記チタン材がチタン板であり、
     電子プローブマイクロアナライザーを用いて、前記チタン板の表面上の所定方向における0.4μm間隔で500点の線分析を、前記表面上の、前記所定方向に直交する方向において0.4μm間隔で500本実施し、測定されたC、NおよびOの濃度(質量%)をそれぞれ[C]、[N]および[O]とした際に、
     全測定点での、36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値が90以上であり、
     36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
     [O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
     前記線分析ごとに、[O]の分布線を作成し、前記分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数を測定したとき、前記500本の線分析での前記交点の数の平均値が20~150個である、

     全測定点での、36[C]+3.6[N]の平均値が90以上であり、
     36[C]+3.6[N]の値が20以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
     [O]/[C]が0.2以下である測定点の個数割合が35%以下であり、
     前記線分析ごとに、[O]の分布線を作成し、前記分布線と[C]の平均値の0.2倍の濃度を示す直線との交点の数を測定したとき、前記500本の線分析での前記交点の数の平均値が20~150個である、
