- the movable member body 44 of the first movable member 40A has a cable end holding portion (first peripheral portion) 46 to which the end 522 of the descending cable 52 is attached, and an end fixing portion (intermediate end holding portion, second peripheral portion) 48 for the intermediate cable 56, which extends in the opposite direction to the descending cable 52.
- the cable end holding portion 46 is a portion that surrounds one end (end 522) of the descending cable 52, i.e., a portion (first surrounding portion) that surrounds the periphery of the descending cable 52, and surrounds the outer periphery of the end 522.
- the cable end holding portion 46 holds the end 522 in a state where it is biased in a direction that pulls one end of the descending cable 52 into the cable end holding portion 46 by the biasing force of the extension biasing member 57.
- the cable end holding portion 46 has a housing portion 462 into which one end of the descending cable 52 is inserted and which houses the end 522 of the descending cable 52 so that it can move freely in the extension direction of the descending cable 52.
- an extension biasing member 57 which is a coil spring, is fitted over an end body 5222, which has a larger outer diameter than the main wire of the descending cable 52, and a portion of the inner cable extending from the end body 5222.
- the extension biasing member 57 absorbs the axial extension of the descending cable 52 and maintains the tension of the descending cable 52.
- one end of the tension-removal biasing member 57 engages with the flange portion 5424.
- the end portion 465 of the storage portion 462 is located on the opposite side from the flange portion 5424.
- the end portion 465 is the surface of the storage portion 462 where the descent cable 52 is led out through a hole, and the other end of the tension-removal biasing member 57 engages with this surface. Note that when the tension-removal biasing member 57 contracts, the routing path of the descent cable 52 becomes longer.
- the flange portion 5424 biases the cable in the direction of drawing it into the storage portion 462 of the cable end holding portion 46 via the tension-removal biasing member 57.
- the tension-removal biasing member 57 contracts in conjunction with the movement of the moving member 40.
- the cable end holding portion 46 houses the end 522, which has the extension biasing member 57 inserted therethrough and is further covered with a cap 466, within the housing portion 462. As a result, the cable end holding portion 46 is positioned so that the end 522 of the descending cable 52, which is inserted from below, is biased toward the back side of the housing portion 462 (the upper end in the extension direction).
- Cap 466 is cylindrical with a closed surface on one side and an opening on the other, and is fixed to the storage section 462 by a fixing means such as a claw. When fixed to the storage section 462, cap 466 is fixed so that the opening faces the end 465. Cap 466 movably houses end 522 together with the extending biasing member 57. As a result, when end 522 moves in the direction opposite end 465, it comes into contact with the closed surface of cap 466, restricting further movement.
- the second moving member 40B is configured in a similar manner to the first moving member 40A, although the orientation of the cable it supports is different.
- the second moving member 40B has a cable end holding portion 46 (first peripheral portion) that movably holds one end of the lifting cable 54, an end (not shown, same shape as end 542), and an end fixing portion (intermediate end holding portion, second peripheral portion) 48 that holds the end of the intermediate cable 56.
- one end of the lifting cable 54 (similar to end 522) is housed in a housing portion 462 together with an extension biasing member (not shown, same shape as extension biasing member 57).
- the cable end holding portion 46 has a housing portion 462 into which one end of the lifting cable 54 is inserted and which houses the end of the lifting cable 54 so that it can move freely in the extension direction of the lifting cable 54.
- an extension biasing member (not shown) is fitted onto one end (not shown).
- the extension biasing member is positioned so that it cannot come loose by engaging with a flange portion (not shown, same shape as flange portion 5424) of the end.
- the extension biasing member biases one end of the lifting cable 54 in a direction that pulls it into the cable end holding portion 46, applying tension to the lifting cable 54.
- the extension biasing member is housed in a cap (not shown, same shape as cap 466) that covers the lower end side of the second moving member 40B.
- the end of the lifting cable 54 is supported by the cable end holder 46 on the second moving member 40B.
- the moving member body 44 of the second moving member 40B has a cable end holding portion 46 that holds the end of the lifting cable 54 so that the lifting cable 54 extends upward, and an end fixing portion 48 that fixes the end of the intermediate cable 56 so that the intermediate cable 56 extends downward.
- the cable end holding portion 46 is a first surrounding portion that holds one end of the lifting cable 54 (similar in configuration to end 522).
- the movable member main body 44 integrally includes a cable end holding portion 46 and an end fixing portion 48 adjacent to the cable end holding portion 46 in the thickness direction (a direction perpendicular to both the extension direction and the opposing direction of the guide rails 20A, 20B).
- a coil spring for example, is used as the extension biasing member.
- the first moving member 40A has a cable end holding portion 46 (first peripheral portion) that houses the descent cable 52 and an end fixing portion 48 (second peripheral portion) that holds the end of the intermediate cable 56, which are integrated and adjacent to each other.
- the second moving member 40B has a cable end holding portion 46 (first peripheral portion) that houses the ascent cable 54 and an end fixing portion 48 (second peripheral portion) that fixes the end of the intermediate cable 56, which are integrated and adjacent to each other.
- the cable end holding portion 46 and the end fixing portion 48 are arranged adjacent to each other in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which one of the pair of guide rails 20A, 20B is located and the direction in which the guide rails 20A, 20B extend. This allows for a more compact design by shortening the width or vertical dimensions.
- the moving device 1 moves the windscreen up and down via the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B.
- the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B are positioned at their uppermost positions, so the following description will mainly focus on the operation of lowering the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B.
- the moving device 1 drives the drive drum 70, that is, by rotating the drum body of the drive drum 70 via the drive of the motor 92, and winds the lowering cable 52 onto the drum body.
- the lowering cable 52 moves toward the drive drum 70, and the first moving member 40A connected to one end of the lowering cable 52 is pulled downward and moves in the downward direction.
- the intermediate cable 56 connected to the upper end of the first moving member 40A is also pulled downward via the first moving member 40A and descends.
- the first moving member 40A is first pulled downward by the descent cable 52, causing the first moving member 40A to descend. If the intermediate cable 56 is stretched, the stretch-retraction biasing member 57 attached to one end 522 of the descent cable 52 contracts within the storage section 462. Next, the first moving member 40A pulls one end of the intermediate cable 56 downward via the contracting stretch-retraction biasing member 57 engaged with the wall within the storage section 462.
- the intermediate cable 56 one end of which is pulled downward, transmits the driving force of the drive drum 70 via the lowering cable 52 and the first moving member 40A, and the moving member 40B, to which the other end is connected, is pulled downward, causing it to descend.
- the drive drum 70 winds up the lowering cable 52 while simultaneously unwinding the ascending cable 54 toward the direction-changing member 64.
- the moving member 40B is pulled downward by the intermediate cable 56.

- Fig. 10 is a view of the moving device main body 10 from the underside.
- the moving device 100 shown in Figures 6 and 7 differs from the moving device 1 of embodiment 1 in that the drive unit 900, which has a motor 92 and a drive drum 70, is separate from the pair of guide rails 20A, 20B.
- the moving device 100 has a pair of guide rails 20A, 20B, a first moving member 40A, a second moving member 40B, and a cable 500 (520, 540, 560).
- the moving device 100 also includes direction-changing members 61-64, a drive unit (drive drum 70, motor 92) 900, outer casings (surrounding parts) 810, 820, and a protector (surrounding part) 830.
- the moving device 100 has a pair of guide rails 20A, 20B to which a first moving member 40A and a second moving member 40B are attached so as to be freely movable along the extension direction of the guide rails 20A, 20B. Furthermore, direction change members 61-64 are attached to the guide rails 20A, 20B via direction change member brackets 610, 620, 630, 640, respectively.
- the cable 500 includes a lowering cable 520, an ascending cable 540, and an intermediate cable 560.
- the lowering cable 520 connects the first moving member 40A to the drive drum 70 of the drive unit 900
- the ascending cable 540 connects the second moving member 40B to the drive drum 70.
- the intermediate cable 560 connects the first moving member 40A to the second moving member 40B.
- the left and right guide rails 20A (first guide rail) and 20B (second guide rail) are positioned in predetermined positions so that they extend parallel to each other with a predetermined distance between them.
- the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B are connected to a drive unit via a cable 500.
- the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B are moved in the extension direction of the guide rails 20A and 20B via the cable 500 by being driven by the drive unit.
- the first moving member 40A and the second moving member 40B have sliding portions 42 arranged to be able to slide and move inside the respective guide rails 20A and 20B, and moving member main bodies 44 arranged outside the guide rails 20A and 20B, in this case, on the opposing surfaces of each other.
- FIG. 8 only the configuration of the second moving member 40B is shown in FIG. 8.
- the sliding portion 42 is disposed within the guide rail 20B and is provided so as to be slidable along the surface of the guide rail 20B.
- the sliding portion 42 and the moving member main body 44 are connected via a slit 27 that opens in the opposing direction of the guide rail 20B.
- the movable member main body 44 has a cable end holding portion (first peripheral portion) 46 that holds the end (not shown, same shape as end 522) which is the end of the lifting cable 540, and an end fixing portion (intermediate end holding portion, second peripheral portion) 48 that holds the end of the intermediate cable 560.
- the cable end holding portion 46 and the end fixing portion 48 are integrally formed adjacent to the moving member main body 44 in the thickness direction. This provides the same functions as the first moving member 40A and second moving member 40B in embodiment 1, while achieving a more compact moving device main body 10.
- section of the descending cable 520 between the direction-changing member 62 and the drive unit is surrounded by an outer casing (surrounding portion) 810. Furthermore, the section of the ascending cable 540 between the direction-changing members 62, 64 and the drive unit is surrounded by an outer casing (surrounding portion) 820.
- direction change member 62 (first direction change member) is positioned by the direction change member bracket (first bracket) 620 so that the extension direction of the descending cable 520 extends in a direction inclined from a plane including the direction toward the guide rail 20A.
- the rotation axis 621 of the direction-changing member 62 is tilted from the perpendicular direction toward the direction-changing member 64 so that the descending cable 520 passes behind the direction-changing member (second direction-changing member) 64.
- the outer casing 820 of the ascending cable 540 is covered by a protector 830 (protective portion, first surrounding portion).
- the protector 830 is a flexible cylindrical body that partially surrounds the ascending cable via the outer casing 820.
- the protector 830 prevents the outer casing 820 from being damaged when it comes into contact with other components.
- the protector 830 also reduces noise that would otherwise be generated when the outer casing 820 comes into contact with other components.
- the protector 830 is positioned so that its back surface abuts (is adjacent to) the direction-changing member bracket 640.
- the protector 830 is positioned adjacent to the outer casing 840 of the intermediate cable 560, which is fixed to the direction-changing member bracket 640.
- the protector 830 is positioned adjacent to the lower outer end 566 of the outer casing 840 and is supported by the direction-changing member bracket 640.
- One end (upper end) of the outer casing 820 is attached to the direction change bracket 630 by the outer end 546.
- the portion of the outer casing 820 located on the direction change bracket 640 is attached to the direction change member bracket 640 by a clip (mounting member) 832. This makes it possible to regulate the routing position of the outer casing 820 on the drive unit main body 10.
- the protector 830 is adjacent to or abuts against other components in a direction (thickness direction) perpendicular to the direction in which one of the pair of guide rails 20A, 20B is positioned relative to the other and perpendicular to the extension direction of the guide rails 20A, 20B.
- the protector 830 does not occupy adjacent space to other components in either the vertical or horizontal direction of the mobile device main body 10, thereby reducing the space occupied by the mobile device main body 10.
- the protector 830 can suppress vibrations of the ascending cable 540 that it protects. If the protector 830 is not used, the outer casing 820 can serve as a first surrounding part that protects the ascending cable.
- the spacing between the guide rails 20A, 20B can be adjusted as needed.
- the descending cable 52 leading out from the lower end of the left guide rail 20A is positioned so that it leads out to the back side of the right guide rail 20B.
- first surrounding portion and second surrounding portion are not limited to outer casings, protectors, or end retainers, as long as they are able to surround the cable.
- first surrounding portion and second surrounding portion may surround the entire outer periphery of the cable, or may surround only a portion of it.
- the moving device of the present invention has the effect of being more compact, and is useful for use in windscreen lifting devices.
