Abstract

キャリアプレートは、キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブルを挿通させるケーブル挿通孔と、ケーブルの端部に固定したケーブルエンドを収容するエンド収容孔と、を備える。エンド収容孔の奥壁に、ケーブル挿通孔とエンド収容孔とを連通する連通開口が形成され、エンド収容孔の奥壁は、連通開口を囲む連続した壁であって、ケーブルエンドを係止可能な係止部である。このような構造により、キャリアプレートの強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレートの耐久性を高めることができる。

Description

ウインドレギュレータ及びその製造方法
 本発明は、ウインドレギュレータ及びその製造方法に関する。
 ウインドレギュレータの先行技術として特許文献1に示すものが知られている。そして、先行技術に係るウインドレギュレータの構成について簡単に説明すると、次のようになる。
 ウインドレギュレータは、上下方向に延びたガイドレールを備えており、ガイドレールは、車両のドアパネルに設置される。ガイドレールには、窓ガラスを保持するキャリアプレートが昇降可能に設けられている。ウインドレギュレータは、キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブル(特許文献1ではワイヤと称される)を備えている。ケーブルの一端部には、ケーブルエンド(特許文献1ではワイヤエンドと称される)が固定されている。
 ケーブルエンドをキャリアプレートに連結するために、キャリアプレートには、ケーブルエンドを収容する筒状のエンド収容部(特許文献1では端部収容部と称される)が設けられている。エンド収容部の奥壁(特許文献1では天壁又は底壁と称される)は、ケーブルエンドを係止可能な係止部である。エンド収容部の外壁には、エンド収容部の長手方向に沿ってスリットが形成されている。エンド収容部の奥壁には、短スリットがスリットに連通して形成されており、短スリットは、エンド収容部の奥壁の中央部から外周に向かって延びている。スリット及び短スリットからケーブルをエンド収容部に収容した状態で、ケーブルの他端部側から巻き取ることで、ケーブルエンドをエンド収容部に収容させて、エンド収容部の奥壁に係止させることができる。

 ところで、ケーブルエンドをエンド収容部の奥壁に係止させるには、スリット及び短スリットが必要であるものの、エンド収容部にスリット及び短スリットを形成すると、キャリアプレートの強度の低下に繋がる。特に、エンド収容部の係止部である奥壁にはケーブルエンドから大きな負荷(荷重)が働くため、エンド収容部の奥壁に短スリットを形成すると、キャリアプレートの強度が低下して、キャリアプレートの耐久性を高めることが困難になる。
 そこで、本発明は、キャリアプレートの強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレートの耐久性を高めることができる、ウインドレギュレータ及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
 上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の一態様に係るウインドレギュレータは、ガイドレールと、前記ガイドレールに昇降可能に設けられ、窓ガラスを保持するキャリアプレートと、を備える。前記キャリアプレートは、前記キャリアプレートの上面及び下面の一方に開口するケーブル開口を有し、前記キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブルを挿通させるケーブル挿通孔と、前記ケーブル挿通孔に上下方向に並んで配置され、前記キャリアプレートの上面及び下面の他方に開口するエンド開口を有し、前記ケーブルの端部に固定したケーブルエンドを収容するエンド収容孔と、を備える。前記エンド収容孔の奥壁に、前記ケーブル挿通孔と前記エンド収容孔とを連通する連通開口が形成され、前記エンド収容孔の奥壁は、前記連通開口を囲む連続した壁であって、前記ケーブルエンドを係止可能な係止部である。
 本発明の一態様に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法は、キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブルを、前記キャリアプレートの上面又は下面の一方に開口するケーブル開口から前記キャリアプレートのケーブル挿通孔に挿通させると共に、前記キャリアプレートのエンド収容孔の奥壁に形成した連通開口を経由して、前記キャリアプレートの上面又は下面の他方に開口するエンド開口から前記エンド収容孔の外側に導出させ、その後、前記ケーブルを前記ケーブル開口からケーブル挿通孔の外側に引き出すことで、前記ケーブルの端部に固定したケーブルエンドを、前記エンド開口から前記エンド収容孔に収容して、前記連通開口を囲む連続した壁である前記エンド収容孔の奥壁に係止させる。
 本発明の一態様に係るウインドレギュレータ及びその製造方法によれば、キャリアプレートの強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレートの耐久性を高めることができる。

 以下、本実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。図面中、「FD」は車両前側、「RD」は車両後側、「UD」は上側、「DD」は下側、「ID」は車両内側、「ED」は車両外側をそれぞれ指している。
 図1から図9を参照して、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成について説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10を車両のドアパネルPに設置した様子を示す図である。図2は、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10を車両内側から見た図である。図3は、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10を車両外側から見た図である。

 図1に示すように、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10は、車両の窓ガラスWを昇降させる装置であって、車両のドアパネルPにおけるインナパネルIPとアウタパネルEPとの間に設置される。以下の本実施形態では、車両用のウインドレギュレータ10について説明するが、本発明に係るウインドレギュレータは、車両用に限定されるものではない。
 図1から図3に示すように、ウインドレギュレータ10は、上下方向に対して前後方向へ傾斜して延びたガイドレール12を備えており、ガイドレール12は、ブラケット14を介してインナパネルIPに取付けられる。ガイドレール12は、その幅方向の両側からそれぞれ立ち上がる立壁部16,18と、一方の立壁部16の端部から幅方向の外側に延出する延出部20とを有している。ガイドレール12は、例えば、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム合金等の硬質材料により構成されている。なお、ガイドレール12が上下方向に対して前後方向へ傾斜して延びる代わりに、上下方向に延びてもよい。
 図1から図5に示すように、ガイドレール12には、窓ガラスWの下端部を保持するキャリアプレート22が昇降可能に設けられている。キャリアプレート22は、一方の立壁部16をガイドレール12の長手方向に沿って摺動自在に挟持する挟持部24を有している。キャリアプレート22は、例えば、樹脂、アルミニウム合金等により構成されている。キャリアプレート22がガイドレール12に沿って昇降することで、窓ガラスWを昇降させることができる。
 図1から図3に示すように、ウインドレギュレータ10は、キャリアプレート22を上昇方向に牽引する第1ケーブルとして上昇側ケーブル26を備えている。上昇側ケーブル26の両端部には、第1ケーブルエンド28(図9参照)がそれぞれカシメによって固定されている。上昇側ケーブル26の一端部側には、上昇側ケーブル26の伸びを吸収する第1スプリング等の第1弾性部材30(図9参照)が設けられている。上昇側ケーブル26の一端部は、キャリアプレート22の所定の部位に第1ケーブルエンド28及び第1弾性部材30を介して連結されている。ガイドレール12の長手方向の中央部側には、上昇側ケーブル26を支持するケーブルサポータ32が設けられている。なお、ケーブルサポータ30は、上昇側ケーブル26を支持する必要が無い場合には、省略することもできる。
 ウインドレギュレータ10は、キャリアプレート22を下降方向に牽引する第2ケーブルとしての下降側ケーブル34を備えている。下降側ケーブル34の両端部には、第2ケーブルエンド36(図9参照)がそれぞれカシメによって固定されている。下降側ケーブル34の一端部側には、下降側ケーブル34の伸びを吸収する第2スプリング等の第2弾性部材38(図9参照)が設けられている。下降側ケーブル34の一端部は、キャリアプレート22の他の所定の部位に第2ケーブルエンド36及び第2弾性部材38を介して連結されている。
 図1から図3に示すように、ガイドレール12の上端部には、上昇側ケーブル26の移動方向を転換する方向転換部材40が設けられており、方向転換部材40は、例えば、樹脂、アルミニウム合金等により構成されている。方向転換部材40の車両外側及び車両内側から見た形状は、それぞれ半円形状である。方向転換部材40の円弧状の縁部には、上昇側ケーブル26を摺動可能に掛け回すためのガイド溝42が形成されている。なお、方向転換部材36は、プーリーを用いることもできる。
 図2及び図3に示すように、ガイドレール12の下端部には、キャリアプレート22を昇降駆動させる駆動部44が設けられている。そして、駆動部44の具体的な構成は、次の通りである。
 駆動部44は、2本のケーブル(上昇側ケーブル26、下降側ケーブル34)の巻き取り及び繰り出しを行うドラム46を備えている。ドラム46の表面(車両内側の面)の所定の部位には、上昇側ケーブル26の他端部が第1ケーブルエンド28(不図示)を介して連結されている。ドラム46の裏面(車両外側の面)の所定の部位には、下降側ケーブル34の他端部が第2ケーブルエンド36(不図示)を介して連結されている。
 駆動部44は、ガイドレール12の下端部に設けられたハウジング48を備えている。ハウジング48は、ドラム46を回転可能に収容する。換言すれば、ドラム46は、ハウジング48内に回転可能に設けられている。ハウジング48は、例えば、樹脂、アルミニウム合金等により構成されている。
 駆動部44は、ハウジング48の開口側を塞ぐように設けられたカバー部材50を備えている。カバー部材50は、例えば、樹脂、アルミニウム合金等により構成されている。また、駆動部44は、ドラム46を正逆方向に回転させる電動モータ52を備えており、電動モータ52は、カバー部材50に設けられている。電動モータ52の出力軸(不図示)は、減速機構(不図示)を介してドラム46の回転軸(不図示)に連動連結されている。
 電動モータ52の駆動によりドラム46を正方向に回転させると、下降側ケーブル34をドラム46から繰り出しながら、上昇側ケーブル26をドラム46に巻き取る。すると、キャリアプレート22をガイドレール12に沿って上昇させて、窓ガラスWを上昇させることができる。一方、電動モータ52の駆動によりドラム46を逆方向に回転させると、上昇側ケーブル26をドラム46から繰り出しながら、下降側ケーブル34をドラム46に巻き取る。すると、キャリアプレート22をガイドレール12に沿って下降させて、窓ガラスWを下降させることができる。
 なお、駆動部44が電動モータ52の駆動によりキャリアプレート22を昇降させる代わりに、ドラム46の回転軸に連動連結したハンドル等の操作部材(不図示)の手動操作によりキャリアプレート22を昇降させてもよい。
 前述のように、上昇側ケーブル26の一端部は、キャリアプレート22の所定の部位に第1ケーブルエンド28及び第1弾性部材30を介して連結されている。下降側ケーブル34の他端部は、キャリアプレート22の他の所定の部位に第2ケーブルエンド36及び第2弾性部材38を介して連結されている。そして、上昇側ケーブル26の一端部をキャリアプレート22の所定の部位に連結するための構成、及び下降側ケーブル34の一端部をキャリアプレート22の他の所定の部位に連結するための構成は、次の通りである。
 図4、図5、図7、図8、及び図9に示すように、キャリアプレート22は、上昇側ケーブル26を挿通させる第1ケーブル挿通孔54を備えている。第1ケーブル挿通孔54は、キャリアプレート22の上面に開口する第1ケーブル開口54aを有している。第1ケーブル挿通孔54は、第1ケーブル開口54aに向かって徐々に広がる第1テーパ部54tを有している。第1ケーブル挿通孔54の第1ケーブル開口54aは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。
 図9に示すように、キャリアプレート22は、第1ケーブルエンド28及び第1弾性部材30を収容する円柱状の第1エンド収容孔56を備えている。第1エンド収容孔56は、第1ケーブル挿通孔54に上下方向(キャリアプレート22の高さ方向)に並んで配置されている。第1エンド収容孔56は、キャリアプレート22の下面に開口する第1エンド開口56aを有している。
 図8及び図9に示すように、第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fの中央部には、第1ケーブル挿通孔54と第1エンド収容孔56とを連通する第1連通開口56cが形成されている。第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fは、第1連通開口56cを囲む連続した壁であって、第1弾性部材30を介して第1ケーブルエンド28を係止可能な第1係止部である。第1エンド収容孔56の第1連通開口56cは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。
 図4、図5、図7、図8、及び図9に示すように、キャリアプレート22は、下降側ケーブル34を挿通させる第2ケーブル挿通孔58を備えている。第2ケーブル挿通孔58は、キャリアプレート22の下面に開口する第2ケーブル開口58aを有している。第2ケーブル挿通孔58は、第2ケーブル開口58aに向かって徐々に広がる第2テーパ部58tを有している。第2ケーブル挿通孔58の第2ケーブル開口58aは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。
 図9に示すように、キャリアプレート22は、第2ケーブルエンド36及び第2弾性部材38を収容する円柱状の第2エンド収容孔60を備えている。第2エンド収容孔60は、第2ケーブル挿通孔58に上下方向に並んで配置されている。第2エンド収容孔60は、キャリアプレート22の上面に開口する第2エンド開口60aを有している。
 図7及び図9に示すように、第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fの中央部には、第2ケーブル挿通孔58と第2エンド収容孔60とを連通する第2連通開口60cが形成されている。第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fは、第2連通開口60cを囲む連続した壁であって、第2弾性部材38を介して第2ケーブルエンド36を係止可能な係止部である。第2エンド収容孔60の第2連通開口60cは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。
 図5、図6、及び図9に示すように、キャリアプレート22の裏面(車両外側の面)には、第1ケーブルエンド28及び第1弾性部材30にグリスを供給するための第1グリス供給孔62が第1エンド収容孔56に連通して形成されている。また、キャリアプレート22の裏面には、第2ケーブルエンド36及び第2弾性部材38にグリスを供給するための第2グリス供給孔64が第2エンド収容孔60に連通して形成されている。
 本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によると、前述のように、第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fには、第1ケーブル挿通孔54と第1エンド収容孔56とを連通する第1連通開口56cが形成されている。第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fは、第1連通開口56cを囲む連続した壁である。そのため、上昇側ケーブル26を第1ケーブル挿通孔54に挿通させると共に、第1連通開口56cを経由して、第1エンド収容孔56の外側に導出させることで、上昇側ケーブル26をキャリアプレート22にセットすることができる。その後、上昇側ケーブル26を第1エンド開口56aから引き出すことで、第1ケーブルエンド28を第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させる。つまり、キャリアプレート22にスリットを形成したり、第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに短スリットを形成したりすることなく、第1ケーブルエンド28を第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させることができる。
 同様に、第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fには、第2ケーブル挿通孔58と第2エンド収容孔60とを連通する第2連通開口60cが形成されている。第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fは、第2連通開口60cを囲む連続した壁である。そのため、下降側ケーブル34を第2ケーブル挿通孔58に挿通させると共に、第2連通開口60cを経由して、第2エンド収容孔60の外側に導出させることで、下降側ケーブル34をキャリアプレート22にセットすることができる。その後、下降側ケーブル34を第2エンド開口60aから引き出すことで、第2ケーブルエンド36を第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させる。つまり、キャリアプレート22にスリットを形成したり、第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに短スリットを形成したりすることなく、第2ケーブルエンド36を第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させることができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、キャリアプレート22の強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレート22の耐久性を高めることができる。
 本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によると、前述のように、第1ケーブル挿通孔54は、第1ケーブル開口54aに向かって徐々に広がる第1テーパ部54tを有している。そのため、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立作業において、上昇側ケーブル26を第1ケーブル挿通孔54に挿入させ易くなる。また、ガイドレール12が湾曲していることによりキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、上昇側ケーブル26のリード角(導出角)をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第1ケーブル開口54aの縁部に対する上昇側ケーブル26の接触圧を低減できる。
 同様に、第2ケーブル挿通孔58は、第2ケーブル開口58aに向かって徐々に広がる第2テーパ部58tを有している。そのため、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立作業において、下降側ケーブル34を第2ケーブル挿通孔58に挿入させ易くなる。また、キャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、下降側ケーブル34のリード角をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第2ケーブル開口58aの縁部に対する下降側ケーブル34の接触圧を低減できる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立性を高めつつ、上昇側ケーブル26及び下降側ケーブル34の劣化を抑制することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によると、前述のように、第1ケーブル挿通孔54の第1ケーブル開口54aは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。そのため、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立作業において、上昇側ケーブル26を第1ケーブル挿通孔54に挿入させ易くなる。また、キャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、上昇側ケーブル26のリード角をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第1ケーブル開口54aの縁部に対する上昇側ケーブル26の接触圧を低減できる。なお、ケーブル開口54aは、例えば、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向と直交する方向が長径となる長孔形状とすることができる。
 同様に、第2ケーブル挿通孔58の第2ケーブル開口58aは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。そのため、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立作業において、下降側ケーブル34を第2ケーブル挿通孔58に挿入させ易くなる。また、キャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、下降側ケーブル34のリード角をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第2ケーブル開口58aの縁部に対する下降側ケーブル34の接触圧を低減できる。ケーブル開口58aは、例えば、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向と直交する方向が長径となる長孔形状とすることができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、ウインドレギュレータ10の組立性を高めつつ、上昇側ケーブル26及び下降側ケーブル34の劣化を抑制することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によると、前述のように、第1エンド収容孔56の第1連通開口56cは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。そのため、キャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、上昇側ケーブル26のリード角をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第1ケーブル開口54aの縁部に対する上昇側ケーブル26の接触圧を低減できる。ケーブル開口56cは、例えば、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向と直交する方向が長径となる長孔形状とすることができる。
 同様に、第2エンド収容孔60の第2連通開口60cは、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている。そのため、キャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡が湾曲する場合であっても、下降側ケーブル34のリード角をキャリアプレート22の昇降軌跡に追従して変化させて、第2ケーブル開口58aの縁部に対する下降側ケーブル34の接触圧を低減できる。ケーブル開口60cは、例えば、ガイドレール12の幅方向と長手方向と直交する方向が長径となる長孔形状とすることができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、上昇側ケーブル26及び下降側ケーブル34の劣化を抑制することができる。
 本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によれば、キャリアプレート22の裏面には、第1グリス供給孔62が第1エンド収容孔56に連通して形成されている。そのため、第1グリス供給孔62にグリスを注入するだけで、第1ケーブルエンド28等にグリスを簡単に供給(塗布)することができる。同様に、キャリアプレート22の裏面には、第2グリス供給孔64が第2エンド収容孔60に連通して形成されている。そのため、第2グリス供給孔64にグリスを注入するだけで、第2ケーブルエンド36等にグリスを簡単に供給することができる。第1グリス供給孔62は、第1ケーブルエンド28が第1エンド収容孔56の内部で摺動移動する際に、第1グリス供給孔62から注入されたグリスを第1エンド収容孔56の内壁に塗布することができる位置に設けることができる。例えば、第1弾性部材30に負荷が作用していない状態の第1ケーブルエンド28が位置する部位に第1グリス供給孔62を設けることができる。同様に、第2グリス供給孔64は、第2ケーブルエンド36が第2エンド収容孔60の内部で摺動移動する際に、第2グリス供給孔64から注入されたグリスを第2エンド収容孔60の内壁に塗布することができる位置に設けることができる。例えば、第2弾性部材38に負荷が作用していない状態の第2ケーブルエンド36が位置する部位に第2グリス供給孔64を設けることができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、第1ケーブルエンド28等の摩耗による劣化を抑制することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10の構成によると、第1エンド収容孔56の第1エンド開口56aは、キャリアプレート22の下面に開口する。第2ケーブル挿通孔58の第2ケーブル開口58aは、キャリアプレート22の下面に開口する。そのため、第1ケーブル挿通孔54内又は第2エンド収容孔60内に水が浸入したとしても、その水を第1エンド収容孔56の第1エンド開口56a又は第2ケーブル挿通孔58の第2ケーブル開口58aから排出することができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータ10によれば、キャリアプレート22の排水性を高めることができる。
 続いて、図10から図13を参照して、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法について説明する。図10から図13は、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法を説明するための図である。
 図10から図13に示すように、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法は、ウインドレギュレータ10を製造するための方法であり、第1工程と、第2工程と、第3工程と、第4工程とを備えている。そして、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法における各工程の具体的な内容は、次の通りである。
 第1工程
 図10に示すように、上昇側ケーブル26の一端部を第1ケーブル開口54aから第1ケーブル挿通孔54に挿通させると共に、第1連通開口56cを経由して、第1エンド開口56aから第1エンド収容孔56の外側に導出させることで、上昇側ケーブル26をキャリアプレート22にセットする。そして、上昇側ケーブル26の一端部に第1ケーブルエンド28をカシメによって固定すると共に、上昇側ケーブル26の一端部側に第1弾性部材30を取付ける。
 第2工程
 第1工程の終了後に、図11に示すように、第1ケーブル挿通孔54から外側に出ている上昇側ケーブル26を、第1ケーブル開口54aから第1ケーブル挿通孔54の外側に引き出す。これにより、第1ケーブルエンド28及び第1弾性部材30を第1エンド開口56aから第1エンド収容孔56に収容して、第1連通開口56cを囲む連続した壁である第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させることができる。換言すれば、第1ケーブルエンド28を第1エンド収容孔56に収容して、第1弾性部材30を介して第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させることができる。
 第3工程
 第2工程の終了後に、図12に示すように、下降側ケーブル34の一端部を第2ケーブル開口58aから第2ケーブル挿通孔58に挿通させると共に、第2連通開口60cを経由して、第2エンド開口60aから第2エンド収容孔60の外側に導出させることで、下降側ケーブル34をキャリアプレート22にセットする。そして、下降側ケーブル34の一端部に第2ケーブルエンド36をカシメによって固定すると共に、下降側ケーブル34の一端部側に第2弾性部材38を取付ける。
 第4工程
 第3工程の終了後に、図13に示すように、第2ケーブル挿通孔58から外側に出ている下降側ケーブル34を、第2ケーブル開口58aから第2ケーブル挿通孔58の外側に引き出す。これにより、第2ケーブルエンド36及び第2弾性部材38を第2エンド開口60aから第2エンド収容孔60に収容して、第2連通開口60cを囲む連続した壁である第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させることができる。換言すれば、第2ケーブルエンド36を第2エンド収容孔60に収容して、第2弾性部材38を介して第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させることができる。
 本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法の構成によると、上昇側ケーブル26を第1ケーブル挿通孔54に挿通させると共に、第1連通開口56cを経由して、第1エンド収容孔56の外側に導出させることで、上昇側ケーブル26をキャリアプレート22にセットする。その後、上昇側ケーブル26を第1ケーブル開口54aから1ケーブル挿通孔54の外側に引き出すことで、第1ケーブルエンド28を第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させる。つまり、キャリアプレート22にスリットを形成したり、第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに短スリットを形成したりすることなく、第1ケーブルエンド28を第1エンド収容孔56の奥壁56fに係止させることができる。
 同様に、下降側ケーブル34を第2ケーブル挿通孔58に挿通させると共に、第2連通開口60cを経由して、第2エンド収容孔60の外側に導出させることで、下降側ケーブル34をキャリアプレート22にセットする。その後、下降側ケーブル34を第2ケーブル開口58aから第2ケーブル挿通孔58の外側に引き出すことで、第2ケーブルエンド36を第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させる。つまり、キャリアプレート22にスリットを形成したり、第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに短スリットを形成したりすることなく、第2ケーブルエンド36を第2エンド収容孔60の奥壁60fに係止させることができる。
 従って、本実施形態に係るウインドレギュレータの製造方法によれば、キャリアプレート22の強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレート22の耐久性を高めることができる。
 以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は前述の実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。
 本発明は、キャリアプレート22の強度を十分に確保して、キャリアプレート22の耐久性を高めることができるウインドレギュレータとして有用である。

Claims (6)

  1.  ガイドレールと、
     前記ガイドレールに昇降可能に設けられ、窓ガラスを保持するキャリアプレートと、を備え、
     前記キャリアプレートは、
     前記キャリアプレートの上面及び下面の一方に開口するケーブル開口を有し、前記キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブルを挿通させるケーブル挿通孔と、
     前記ケーブル挿通孔に上下方向に並んで配置され、前記キャリアプレートの上面及び下面の他方に開口するエンド開口を有し、前記ケーブルの端部に固定したケーブルエンドを収容するエンド収容孔と、を備え、
     前記エンド収容孔の奥壁に、前記ケーブル挿通孔と前記エンド収容孔とを連通する連通開口が形成され、前記エンド収容孔の奥壁は、前記連通開口を囲む連続した壁であって、前記ケーブルエンドを係止可能な係止部である、
     ウインドレギュレータ。
  2.  前記ケーブル挿通孔は、前記ケーブル開口に向かって徐々に広がるテーパ部を有している、
     請求項1に記載のウインドレギュレータ。
  3.  前記ケーブル開口は、前記ガイドレールの幅方向と長手方向とに直交する方向に延びている、
     請求項1に記載のウインドレギュレータ。
  4.  前記連通開口は、前記直交する方向に延びている、
     請求項3に記載のウインドレギュレータ。
  5.  前記キャリアプレートに、前記ケーブルエンドにグリスを供給するためのグリス供給孔が前記エンド収容孔に連通して形成されている、
     請求項1に記載のウインドレギュレータ。
  6.  キャリアプレートを牽引するケーブルを、前記キャリアプレートの上面又は下面の一方に開口するケーブル開口から前記キャリアプレートのケーブル挿通孔に挿通させると共に、前記キャリアプレートのエンド収容孔の奥壁に形成した連通開口を経由して、前記キャリアプレートの上面又は下面の他方に開口するエンド開口から前記エンド収容孔の外側に導出させ、
     その後、前記ケーブルを前記ケーブル開口からケーブル挿通孔の外側に引き出すことで、前記ケーブルの端部に固定したケーブルエンドを、前記エンド開口から前記エンド収容孔に収容して、前記連通開口を囲む連続した壁である前記エンド収容孔の奥壁に係止させる、
     ウインドレギュレータの製造方法。
