Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of vehicle technology, and in particular to a vibration reduction device capable of reducing the risk of grease intrusion.
- a vibration damping device In the transmission system of a motor vehicle, a vibration damping device is usually required to be arranged between the engine and the transmission to absorb and buffer torque vibration. There are many friction pairs in the vibration damping device to provide damping, and the contact surfaces of these friction pairs need to be kept clean to ensure friction performance. However, contaminants from the outside of the vibration damping device may invade the inside of the vibration damping device through the input end or the output end. In particular, in order to facilitate assembly, lubricating grease is applied to the input shaft of the transmission; at the same time, the transmission located at the rear end of the vibration damping device is connected to the output hub of the vibration damping device through the input shaft, and there is lubricating grease in the transmission.
- the lubricating grease in the transmission may leak toward the vibration damping device through the input shaft.
- these lubricating greases may invade the inside of the vibration damping device and spread in the vibration damping device under the action of centrifugal force.
- the lubricating grease invading the inside of the vibration damping device may contaminate the friction surface of the friction pair, reduce the friction coefficient, and thus cause damping failure and torque transmission failure.
- Patent document KR10-2004-0023067 discloses a vibration damping device that stores lubricating grease intruding along the input shaft of a transmission by forming a groove on the radial inner side of the output hub.
- the size and volume of such a groove are limited, and not only can it not block the splashing grease, but it may also be filled with grease after a long period of operation, resulting in grease loss.
- such a groove makes the structure of the output hub complicated and difficult to process.
- Patent document KR10-1997-0027891 discloses a vibration damping device, which shields the lubricating grease intruding from the input shaft of the transmission by adding a funnel-shaped shielding member outside the end of the output hub.
- this shielding member is also difficult to block the grease splashing radially outside the input shaft, and it requires a larger axial arrangement space, which increases the axial size of the vibration damping device.
- the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a vibration reduction device capable of reducing the risk of grease intrusion.
- the vibration damping device includes an output hub and one or more rotating parts, and the output hub is used to transmit torque between the one or more rotating parts in the vibration damping device and an external device.
- the vibration damping device also includes an oil baffle, which surrounds the radial outer side of the output hub and is axially located on the side of the one or more rotating parts that is used to face the external device, so that when the vibration damping device is connected to the external device, the oil baffle is axially located between the one or more rotating parts and the external device.
- the oil baffle thus separates the rotating parts inside the vibration damping device from the external device, and pollutants from the outside of the vibration damping device, especially from the external device, especially lubricating grease, are blocked by the oil baffle, and are therefore not easy to invade the interior of the vibration damping device.
- the oil blocking member may include a main body portion, which may be fixed on the output hub and extend radially outward from the output hub.
- the main body portion at least partially separates the space between the vibration damping device and the external device, and can not only block the grease intruding along the output hub, but also block the splashing grease.
- the main body can extend in a plane perpendicular to the axial direction.
- the main body is thus formed into a flat plate-like structure perpendicular to the axial direction, which is easy to process.
- the main body can also be formed into a truncated cone around the output hub and have a radius that gradually increases in the axial direction away from one or more rotating parts.
- the truncated cone-shaped main body can not only block the splashing grease, but also guide the grease to concentrate radially inward, thereby further reducing the risk of grease intrusion.
- the oil retaining member may further include a retaining edge portion, which may be formed as an annular structure extending around the outer periphery of the main body portion and bent relative to the main body portion in a direction away from the one or more rotating components.
- the extension length of the retaining edge portion may be designed according to the space between the vibration reduction device and the external device, which may further block the splashing grease.
- the flange portion may extend axially from the outer periphery of the main body portion.
- the flange portion is thus formed into a cylindrical structure, which is easy to produce.
- the rib portion may also be formed in a truncated cone shape around the main body portion and have a radius that gradually increases in the axial direction away from the one or more rotating components.
- the truncated cone-shaped rib portion can not only block the splashing grease, but also guide the grease to concentrate radially inward, thereby further reducing the risk of grease intrusion.
- the main body can be fixed to the radially outer side of the axial end of the output hub facing the external device, which facilitates the installation of the oil retainer on the output hub.
- the output hub may include a step portion, which may be formed on the radially outer side of the axial end of the output hub facing the external device, and the oil retainer may be fixed to the step portion by a press-fit process. This makes the oil retainer easy to install.
- the oil retainer may also be fixed to the output hub by, for example, welding.

- the flange and the side plate assembly can abut each other in the axial direction to provide rotation damping.
- One of the rotating part 11a and the rotating part 11b can be used as the input end of the vibration damping device 10 (for example, for connecting the crankshaft of the engine, not shown), and the other is connected to the rotating part 11c in a torsion-proof manner.

Therefore, when the vibration damping device 10 is connected to the external device, the oil retainer 14 is axially located between these rotating components and the external device.
- the oil retainer 14 can thereby prevent lubricating grease from the external device or from the connection between the input shaft 21 of the external device and the output hub 13 from invading the interior of the vibration damping device 10, and in particular prevent the grease from contaminating the friction pair inside the vibration damping device 10.

Description
图1示出根据本发明的示例性实施例的减振装置的示意图;
