Description

抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム
 本発明は、抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムに関する。
 液晶ディスプレイ、有機エレクトロルミネセンスディスプレイ等のタッチパネルには、表面保護の観点から保護フィルム及び/又は飛散防止フィルムが用いられている。ゲーム機及び携帯電話等のモバイル機器に使用されるタッチパネルは、使用頻度が多いため、菌やウイルスが付着する機会も多い。また、駅の券売機、銀行の現金自動預け払い機(ATM:automatic teller machine)、医療施設内の医療機器、及び、飲食店の注文装置等が備えるタッチパネル付表示装置は、不特定多数の人に利用されるため、使用環境下で様々な菌やウイルスが付着する可能性が高い。そこで、菌やウイルスの増殖を抑え、病気の感染のリスクを低減する観点から、タッチパネルの表面に抗菌または抗ウイルス性を有するフィルムを設ける技術が提案されている。
 特許文献1には、光学異方性を有する基材と、基材の表面上の少なくとも一部に配置された抗菌層とを備える、抗菌層付き基材であって、抗菌層が、特定の平均粒径を有する抗菌剤粒子及びバインダーを含有し、抗菌層の厚さが5μm超15μm以下であり、基材の引張強さが200MPa以上である、抗菌層付き基材が記載されている。

 近年では、抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムの虹ムラ防止性能について、更なる性能の向上が求められている。
 よって、本発明の目的は、長期にわたって虹ムラの発生が抑制された抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムを提供することにある。
 本発明は以下を提供する。
 <1> 基材と、上記基材上に配置された抗菌または抗ウイルス層と、を有する抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムであって、

 本発明によれば、長期にわたって虹ムラの発生が抑制された抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムを提供することができる。

 以下、本発明について詳細に説明する。以下に記載する構成要件の説明は、本発明の代表的な実施態様に基づいてなされることがあるが、本発明はそのような実施態様に制限されない。
 なお、本明細書において、「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値及び上限値として含む範囲を意味する。本明細書に段階的に記載されている数値範囲において、ある数値範囲で記載された上限値又は下限値は、他の段階的な記載の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値に置き換えてもよい。また、本明細書に記載されている数値範囲において、ある数値範囲で記載された上限値又は下限値は、実施例に示されている値に置き換えてもよい。
 本明細書において、組成物中の各成分の量は、組成物中に各成分に該当する物質が複数存在する場合、特に断らない限り、組成物中に存在する複数の物質の合計量を意味する。
 本明細書において、「工程」との用語には、独立した工程だけでなく、他の工程と明確に区別できない場合であっても工程の所期の目的が達成されれば、本用語に含まれる。
 本明細書において、2以上の好ましい態様の組み合わせは、より好ましい態様である。
<抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム>
 本発明の抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムは、基材と、基材上に配置された抗菌または抗ウイルス層と、を有する抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムであって、
 上記基材は、式(1)の条件を満たすポリエステル樹脂フィルムであり、
 上記抗菌または抗ウイルス層は、バインダーと、光散乱粒子と、抗菌または抗ウイルス剤粒子とを含み、
 上記抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムは、式(11)の条件を満たすことを特徴とする。
 以下、「抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム」を「抗ウイルスフィルム」ともいう。また、「抗菌または抗ウイルス層」を、「抗ウイルス層」ともいう。また、「抗菌または抗ウイルス剤」を「抗ウイルス剤」ともいう。また、「抗菌または抗ウイルス剤粒子」を「抗ウイルス剤粒子」ともいう。
 本発明者がポリエステル樹脂フィルムについて鋭意検討を進めたところ、式(1)の条件を満たすポリエステル樹脂フィルムは、虹ムラが小さいことを見出した。そして、このポリエステル樹脂フィルムを基材として用いた抗ウイルスフィルムについて更に鋭意検討を進めたところ、抗ウイルス層としてバインダーと光散乱粒子と抗ウイルス剤粒子とを含むものを用い、かつ、抗ウイルスフィルムが式(11)の条件を満たすことにより、抗ウイルスフィルムの虹ムラの発生を長期にわたって抑制できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。このような構成とすることにより虹ムラの発生を長期にわたって抑制できる詳細な理由は不明であるが、以下によるものであると推測される。
 抗ウイルスフィルムが式(11)の条件を満たすこととは、湿熱処理後もヘイズの変動が小さいこと表している。また、湿熱処理後のヘイズの変動が小さいこととは、抗ウイルス層内の光散乱粒子や、抗ウイルス剤粒子の分散状態が良好であり、湿熱処理後も抗ウイルス層の屈折率の変動を抑制できたためであると推測される。本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、光散乱粒子や抗ウイルス剤粒子の分散状態が良好で、屈折率の変動が生じにくい抗ウイルス層を有しているため、虹ムラの発生が長期にわたって抑制された抗ウイルスフィルムとすることができたと推測される。
 本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、式(11)の条件を満たし、式(11-1)の条件を満たすことが好ましく、式(11-2)の条件を満たすことがより好ましい。

 上記式中、h2は温度60℃、相対湿度90%の条件で720時間湿熱処理した後の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値であり、h1は湿熱処理前の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値である。
 式(11)の条件を満たす抗ウイルスフィルムを得るには、基材や抗ウイルス層の厚み、基材として用いるポリエステル樹脂フィルムのカルボキシル基価、抗ウイルス層に用いる光散乱粒子や抗ウイルス剤粒子の粒径などを調整することで達成できる。一例として、カルボキシル基価の少ないポリエステル樹脂フィルムを基材として用いる方法が挙げられる。
 以下、図面を参照しながら本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムの構成について説明する。
 図1は、抗ウイルスフィルムの構成の一例を示す断面図である。抗ウイルスフィルム110は、基材101と、抗ウイルス層102とを有する。抗ウイルス層102は、図示しない抗菌剤粒子を含む。抗菌フィルム110においては、基材101の表面と、抗菌層102とが直接接している。
 本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、図1に示す構成に制限されず、他の構成を有していてもよい。図1に示す抗ウイルスフィルムでは、基材101の片側表面に抗ウイルス層102が配置されているが、基材の両面に抗ウイルス層が配置されていてもよい。図1に示す抗ウイルスフィルム110では、抗ウイルス層102は基材101上の全面に配置されているが、抗ウイルス層は基材上の一部にのみ配置されていてもよい。
 図1に示す抗ウイルスフィルム110において、基材101の抗ウイルス層102が配置されている表面とは反対側の表面に粘着層が配置されていてもよい。この場合、粘着層の基材101が配置されている表面とは反対側の表面には、更に、粘着層を保護するセパレータが貼付されていてもよい。
 図1に示す抗ウイルスフィルム110において、抗ウイルス層102上に、抗ウイルス層102を保護するための保護シートが配置されていてもよい。保護シートが配置される場合には、使用時に抗ウイルスフィルムから保護シートが取り除かれる。
 図1に示す抗ウイルスフィルム110では、基材101と抗ウイルス層102とが直接接しているが、基材と抗ウイルス層との間にプライマー層を含んでいてもよい。
 以下、上記抗ウイルスフィルムを構成する各部材について詳述する。
〔基材〕
 本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは基材を有する。基材には、式(1)の条件を満たすポリエステル樹脂フィルムが用いられる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの「(nx+ny)/2-nz」の値(面配向係数)は、上記保護フィルムを構成するポリマー分子鎖の配向に関する物性の指標であり、虹ムラの発生をより効果的に抑制できるという理由から式(1-1)の条件を満たすことが好ましく、式(1-2)の条件を満たすことがより好ましい。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムが幅方向(TD)および長手方向(MD)に2軸延伸したフィルムである場合、上記面配向係数の値が大きいほど、ポリマー分子鎖がポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚さ方向に垂直に配向されていることを意味する。

 上記式中、nxはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の遅相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nyはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の進相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nzはポリエステル樹脂フィルム厚み方向の屈折率を表す。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのnx、ny、nzは、以下のように測定することができる。二枚の偏光板を用いて、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの配向軸方向を求め、配向軸方向が直交するように4cm×2cmの長方形を切り出し、測定用サンプルとした。このサンプルについて、直交する二軸の屈折率(nx,ny)、及び厚さ方向の屈折率(nz)をアッベ屈折率計によって求めて、nx、ny、nzを測定する。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの「nx-ny」の値(面内の複屈折)は、虹ムラの発生をより効果的に抑制できるという理由から、式(2)の条件を満たすことが好ましく、式(2-1)の条件を満たすことがより好ましく、式(2-2)を満たすことが更に好ましい。

 上記式中、nxはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の遅相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nyはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の進相軸方向の屈折率を表す。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの任意の箇所1m内の(nx-ny)の最大値と最小値との差(面内の複屈折分布)は、虹ムラの発生をより効果的に抑制できるという理由から、式(3)の条件を満たすことが好ましく、式(3-1)の条件を満たすことがより好ましく、式(3-2)の条件を満たすことが更に好ましい。

 上記式中、Δnは、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの任意の箇所1m内の(nx-ny)の最大値と最小値との差を表し、nxはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の遅相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nyはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の進相軸方向の屈折率を表す。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのΔnは、以下のように測定することができる。ポリエステル樹脂フィルム1mについて、100mm毎にフィルム幅方向、流れ方向について均等にサンプリングする。例えばフィルム幅が2m、フィルム長さが0.5mのフィルムの場合、幅方向に20点、流れ方向に5点の合計100点のフィルム片が切り出される。フィルム片の大きさについては前述の屈折率測定(アッベ屈折率計)で記載した方法と同じサイズに切り出す。切り出されたフィルム片について、全て前述の屈折率測定と同じ方法で屈折率を測定し、nx-nyの値を導出する。全てのフィルム片のnx-ny値の最大値と最小値との差をΔnとする。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚み方向の複屈折、面内の複屈折および面内の複屈折分布は、ポリエステル樹脂に用いられるポリエステル樹脂の種類、上記ポリエステル樹脂と添加剤の量、レターデーション発現剤の添加、ポリエステル樹脂の膜厚、ポリエステル樹脂の延伸方向と延伸倍率等により調整することができる。また、ポリエステル樹脂の厚み方向の複屈折、面内の複屈折および面内の複屈折分布を上記所定の範囲に制御する方法は特に制限はないが、例えば延伸法や熱固定によって達成できる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのカルボキシ基量は、35eq/ton以下であることが好ましく、33eq/ton以下であることがより好ましく、30eq/ton以下であることが更に好ましい。下限は0eq/ton以上とすることができ、5eq/ton以上とすることができ、10eq/ton以上とすることもできる。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのカルボキシ基量が35eq/ton以下であれば、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの経時での加水分解による劣化を抑えることができる。更には、抗ウイルスフィルムの湿熱処理前後の波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの変動をより抑制することもできる。このため、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの変形や配向の変化を抑えることができ、長期にわたって優れた虹ムラ抑制効果を発揮することができる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのカルボキシ基量は、測定試料0.1gをベンジルアルコール10mlに溶解後、クロロホルムを加えた混合溶液にフェノールレッド指示薬を滴下し、これを基準液(0.01N KOH-ベンジルアルコール混合溶液)で滴定した後、その滴下量からカルボキシ基量を算出して求められる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度は140~200℃であることが好ましく、140~180℃であることがより好ましく、150~180℃であることが更に好ましい。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度が上記範囲であれば、抗ウイルスフィルムの虹ムラの発生をより効果的に抑制することができる。ここで、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度とは、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを示差走査熱量測定したときにポリエステル樹脂フィルムの融解ピークの前に現れる微小吸熱ピークのことである。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度は、一般に、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの横延伸工程中の熱固定時におけるポリエステル樹脂フィルムの最高到達膜面温度(熱固定温度)に相当する。
 80℃24時間静置した後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムのMD方向及びTD方向の熱収縮率は、いずれも1.0%以下であることが好ましく、0.5%以下であることがより好ましく、0.3%以下であることがさらに好ましい。熱収縮率を1.0%以下とすることで、虹ムラの発生をより効果的に抑制できる。更には、液晶表示装置やタッチパネルに用いたときにポリエステル樹脂フィルムの収縮が抑制され、表示故障が生じにくくなる。
 本明細書において、80℃で24時間静置した後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムのMD方向の熱収縮率(以下、MD熱収縮率ともいう)とは、次のように定義する。
 TD方向30mm、MD方向120mmに裁断したポリエステル樹脂フィルムの試料片Mに、予めMD方向で100mmの間隔となるように2本の基準線を入れる。試料片Mを、無張力下で80℃の加熱オーブン中に24時間静置した後、試料片Mを室温まで冷却する処理を行い、2本の基準線の間隔を測定する。このときに測定される処理後の間隔をA〔mm〕とする。処理前の間隔100mmと、処理後の間隔Ammとから、「100×(100-A)/100」の式を用いて算出される数値〔%〕を、試料片MのMD熱収縮率とする。
 本明細書において、80℃で24時間静置した後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムのTD方向の熱収縮率(以下、TD熱収縮率ともいう)とは、次のように定義する。
 MD方向30mm、TD方向120mmに裁断したポリエステル樹脂フィルムの試料片Mに、予めTD方向で100mmの間隔となるように2本の基準線を入れる。試料片Mを、無張力下で80℃の加熱オーブン中に24時間静置した後、試料片Mを室温まで冷却する処理を行い、2本の基準線の間隔を測定する。このときに測定される処理後の間隔をA〔mm〕とする。処理前の間隔100mmと、処理後の間隔Ammとから、「100×(100-A)/100」の式を用いて算出される数値〔%〕を、試料片MのTD熱収縮率とする。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの密度は、1.370~1.390g/cmであることが好ましく、1.372~1.388g/cmであることがより好ましく、1.374~1.386g/mであることが更に好ましい。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの密度が上記範囲であれば、フィルム強度が良好で、虹ムラの発生の抑制された抗ウイルスフィルムとすることができる。密度の測定は、JIS K7112に準じて測定することができる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの結晶化度は、5%以上であることが好ましく、20%以上であることがより好ましく、30%以上であることが更に好ましい。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムは、透明性の点から、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムに含まれる微粒子、異物、及び、欠陥の数は少ない方が好ましい。ポリエステル樹脂フィルム中における直径1μm以上の微粒子、異物、及び、欠陥の数は、50個/10mm以下であることが好ましく、10個/10mm以下であることがより好ましく、3個/10mm以下であることが更に好ましく、0個/10mmであることが特に好ましい。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムは、機械的強度向上の観点から、延伸処理が施されたポリエステル樹脂フィルムであることが好ましく、2軸延伸されたポリエステル樹脂フィルムであることがより好ましい。延伸倍率は特に制限されないが、好ましくは1.5倍以上7倍以下の範囲である。延伸倍率が1.5倍よりも小さいと機械的強度が不十分な場合があり、延伸倍率が7倍を超えると厚みの均一性に欠ける場合がある。延伸倍率は、より好ましくは2倍以上5倍以下の範囲であり、更に好ましくは3倍以上4.5倍以下の範囲である。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの表面の算術平均粗さRaは、0.005~0.02μmであることが好ましく、0.008~0.015μmであることがより好ましい。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの表面の算術平均粗さRaに対する最大高さRzの比(Rz/Ra)は、5~50であることが好ましく、10~30であることがより好ましい。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの表面の算術平均粗さRa及び最大高さRzは、ISO 4287に準拠して、レーザ顕微鏡(例えば、KEYENCE社製「VK-X1000」)を用いて、ポリエステル樹脂フィルム表面の形状を分析することにより、測定できる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの全光線透過率は、90%以上であることが好ましく、95%以上であることがより好ましい。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのチタン元素の含有量は5~15質量ppmであることが好ましく、7~12質量ppmであることがより好ましい。チタン元素の含有量が上記範囲であれば、ポリエステル樹脂を重合する際に十分な反応性が得られ、異物の発生をより抑制できる。更には、可視光の波長領域(例えば波長400~700nmの波長範囲)の透過性が高いポリエステル樹脂が得られる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのアセトアルデヒド含有量は50ppm以下であることが好ましく、40ppm以下であることがより好ましく、30ppm以下であることが更に好ましい。アセトアルデヒドはアセトアルデヒド同士で縮合反応を容易に起こし、副反応物として水が生成し、この水により、ポリエステルの加水分解が進む場合がある。アセトアルデヒド含有量の下限は現実的には1ppm程度である。アセトアルデヒド含有量を上記範囲にするためには、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの製造時の溶融重合、固相重合など各工程での酸素濃度を低く保つ、樹脂保管時、乾燥時の酸素濃度を低く保つ、ポリエステル樹脂フィルム製造時に押出機、メルト配管、ダイ等で樹脂にかかる熱履歴を低くする、溶融させる際の押出機のスクリュー構成等で局所的に強い剪断がかからないようにするなどの方法を採用することが出来る。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを構成するポリエステル樹脂として、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、ポリブチレンテレヒタレート(PBT)、ポリシクロヘキサンジメチレンテレフタレート(PCT)等が挙げられ、ポリエチレンテレフタレートまたはポリエチレンナフタレートであることが好ましく、ポリエチレンテレフタレートであることがより好ましい。
 ポリエチレンテレフタレートは、ジカルボン酸成分としてテレフタル酸に由来する構成単位と、ジオール成分としてエチレングリコールに由来する構成単位とを有するポリエステルであり、全繰り返し単位の80モル%以上がエチレンテレフタレートであることが好ましい。ポリエチレンテレフタレートは、他の共重合成分に由来する構成単位を含んでいてもよい。他の共重合成分としては、イソフタル酸、p-β-オキシエトキシ安息香酸、4,4’-ジカルボキシジフェニール、4,4’-ジカルボキシベンゾフェノン、ビス(4-カルボキシフェニル)エタン、アジピン酸、セバシン酸、5-ナトリウムスルホイソフタル酸、1,4-ジカルボキシシクロヘキサン等のジカルボン酸成分や、プロピレングリコール、ブタンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、ジエチレングリコール、シクロヘキサンジオール、ビスフェノールAのエチレンオキサイド付加物、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリテトラメチレングリコール等のジオール成分が挙げられる。これらのジカルボン酸成分やジオール成分は、必要により2種類以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。また、上記カルボン酸成分やジオール成分と共に、p-オキシ安息香酸等のオキシカルボン酸を併用することも可能である。他の共重合成分として、アミド結合、ウレタン結合、エーテル結合またはカーボネート結合等を含有するジカルボン酸成分やジオール成分を用いることもできる。ポリエチレンテレフタレートの製造方法としては、テレフタル酸とエチレングリコール、並びに必要に応じて他のジカルボン酸や他のジオールを直接反応させるいわゆる直接重合法や、テレフタル酸のジメチルエステルとエチレングリコール、並びに必要に応じて他のジカルボン酸のジメチルエステルや他のジオールをエステル交換反応させる、いわゆるエステル交換反応法等の任意の製造法を適用することができる。
 ポリエステル樹脂の固有粘度IVは0.58~0.80dL/gであることが好ましく、0.60~0.76dL/gであることがより好ましく、0.62~0.68dL/gであることが更に好ましい。なお、固有粘度IVは、溶液粘度(η)と溶媒粘度(η)の比η(=η/η;相対粘度)から1を引いた比粘度(ηsp=η-1)濃度で割った値を濃度がゼロの状態に外挿した値である。固有粘度IVは、1,1,2,2-テトラクロロエタン/フェノール(=2/3[質量比])混合溶媒中の30℃での溶液粘度から求められる。
 ポリエステル樹脂の重合には、触媒を用いることが好ましい。触媒としては、アンチモン系触媒およびチタン系触媒が挙げられ、チタン系触媒であることが好ましい。チタン系触媒は、重合活性が高く、得られるポリエステル樹脂のカルボキシ基量がアンチモン系触媒などの他の触媒を用いた場合に比べて少なく、触媒起因の異物の発生や、ジエチレングリコールユニットなどの副生成物の生成を抑制することができる。また、異物の発生が少ないことから、可視光の波長領域(例えば波長400~700nmの波長範囲)の透過性が高く、更には、薄手フィルム作成時に異物起因による破断が少なく、表面平滑性の高いフィルムを得ることもできる。
 アンチモン系触媒としては、三酸化アンチモン、五酸化アンチモン、酢酸アンチモン、アンチモングリコキサイドなどが挙げられる。
 チタン系触媒としては、有機酸を配位子とする有機キレートチタン錯体が挙げられる。有機酸としては、例えば、クエン酸、乳酸、トリメリット酸、リンゴ酸等が挙げられ、クエン酸であることが好ましい。
 また、チタン系触媒には、有機キレートチタン錯体のほかに、チタン元素を含む酸化物、水酸化物、アルコキシド化合物、カルボン酸塩、炭酸塩、蓚酸塩またはハロゲン化物等のチタン化合物を用いることができる。このようなチタン化合物の例としては、テトラ-n-プロピルチタネート、テトラ-i-プロピルチタネート、テトラ-n-ブチルチタネート、テトラ-n-ブチルチタネートテトラマー、テトラ-t-ブチルチタネート、テトラシクロヘキシルチタネート、テトラフェニルチタネート、テトラベンジルチタネート等のチタンアルコキシド、チタンアルコキシドの加水分解により得られるチタン酸化物、チタンアルコキシドと珪素アルコキシドもしくはジルコニウムアルコキシドとの混合物の加水分解により得られるチタン-珪素もしくはジルコニウム複合酸化物、酢酸チタン、蓚酸チタン、蓚酸チタンカリウム、蓚酸チタンナトリウム、チタン酸カリウム、チタン酸ナトリウム、チタン酸-水酸化アルミニウム混合物、塩化チタン、塩化チタン-塩化アルミニウム混合物、チタンアセチルアセトナート等が挙げられる。
 ポリエステル樹脂は、例えば特開2011-162777号公報の段落0103~0109に記載された方法で製造することもできる。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムは、例えば特開2015-184664号公報の段落0053~0109に記載された方法で製造することができる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムには、公知の添加剤が含まれていてもよい。その例としては、紫外線吸収剤、粒子、滑剤、ブロッキング防止剤、熱安定剤、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、耐光剤、耐衝撃性改良剤、潤滑剤、染料、顔料等が挙げられる。これらの素材については、特開2015-184664号公報の段落0043~0052、国際公開第2012/157662号の段落0057、0058に記載の素材などが挙げられる。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚さは、20~60μmが好ましい。下限は、25μm以上であることが好ましく、30μm以上であることがより好ましい。上限は、55μm以下であることが好ましく、50μm以下であることがより好ましい。なお、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚さは、マイクロメーターでポリエステル樹脂フィルムの任意の10点の厚さを測定し、その測定結果の算術平均値とする。
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの抗ウイルス層が配置される側の表面には、より優れたハンドリング性を付与できる点で、易接着層(プライマー層)が形成されていてもよい。易接着層としては、例えば、粒子とバインダーとを含む層が挙げられる。易接着層に含まれる粒子の体積平均粒子径は、0.05~0.8μmが好ましい。また、易接着層の膜厚は、0.05~1.0μmが好ましい。
〔抗ウイルス層(抗菌または抗ウイルス層)〕
 抗ウイルスフィルムは上記基材上に配置された抗ウイルス層を有する。抗ウイルス層は、バインダーと、光散乱粒子と、抗菌または抗ウイルス剤粒子(以下、抗ウイルス剤粒子と記す)を少なくとも含有する。
<抗ウイルス剤粒子>
 抗ウイルス剤粒子としては特に制限されず、公知の粒子状の抗菌または抗ウイルス剤を使用できる。抗ウイルス剤粒子としては、黄色ブドウ球菌及び大腸菌に代表される病原性細菌類に対して殺菌効果を発揮するものが好適に用いられる。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子の形状は特に制限されず、例えば、球状、楕円球状、棒状、平板状、針状、及び、不定形状等の形状であってもよい。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子は、金属を含むことが好ましい。抗ウイルス剤粒子に含まれる金属から金属のイオンが発生し、金属のイオンが微生物(以下、細菌類ともいう。)に作用することによって、抗菌や抗ウイルス性が発揮される。病原性細菌類への抗菌効果だけでなく、カビ等の菌類に対する抗菌性、及び、ウイルスに対する抗ウイルス性を有するという点でも好ましい。効果のあるウイルスとして、インフルエンザウイルス、SARS(severe acute respiratory syndrome)コロナウイルス(SARS-CoV)、及び、新型コロナウイルス(SARS-CoV-2)、ネコカリシウイルスが挙げられる。抗ウイルス性の評価方法として、公知の手段を用いることができる。例えばISO 21702に示される方法を用い、試験ウイルスを、インフルエンザウイルス、SARSコロナウイルス又は新型コロナウイルス等の目的のウイルスに変更することで測定できる。抗ウイルス活性値または抗菌活性値は2.0以上であることが好ましく、2.0超であることがより好ましい。
 上記金属としては、例えば、銀、水銀、亜鉛、鉄、鉛、ビスマス、チタン、錫、アルミニウム及び、ニッケル等が挙げられる。抗ウイルス剤粒子に含まれる金属の態様は特に制限されず、金属粒子、金属イオン、及び金属塩(金属錯体を含む)等の形態が挙げられる。中でも、ウイルス層がより優れた抗菌性や抗ウイルス性を有する点で、金属は、銅、亜鉛、又は、銀が好ましく、安全性が高く、且つ抗菌スペクトルが広い点で、銀がより好ましい。また、金属は金属塩が好ましい。抗ウイルス剤粒子は1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子としては、抗ウイルス層がより優れた抗菌性や抗ウイルス性を有する点で、銀を含有する抗ウイルス剤粒子(以下、「銀系抗ウイルス剤」とも記載する)が好ましい。すなわち、上記金属が銀であることが好ましい。銀系抗ウイルス剤としては、銀(銀原子)が含まれていればよく、その種類は特に制限されない。また、銀の形態も特に制限されず、例えば、金属銀、銀イオン、又は、銀塩(銀錯体を含む)の形態で含まれる。例えば、銀系抗ウイルス剤としては、銀イオンを徐放する銀粒子又は銀を含む無機系抗ウイルス剤(例えば、銀及び/又は銀イオンを担体に担持させたもの)が挙げられる。本明細書では、銀錯体は銀塩の範囲に含まれる。
 銀塩としては、例えば、酢酸銀、アセチルアセトン酸銀、アジ化銀、銀アセチリド、ヒ酸銀、安息香酸銀、フッ化水素銀、臭素酸銀、臭化銀、炭酸銀、塩化銀、塩素酸銀、クロム酸銀、クエン酸銀、シアン酸銀、シアン化銀、(cis,cis-1,5-シクロオクタジエン)-1,1,1,5,5,5-ヘキサフルオロアセチルアセトン酸銀、ジエチルジチオカルバミン酸銀、フッ化銀(I)、フッ化銀(II)、7,7-ジメチル-1,1,1,2,2,3,3-ヘプタフルオロ-4,6-オクタンジオン酸銀、ヘキサフルオロアンチモン酸銀、ヘキサフルオロヒ酸銀、ヘキサフルオロリン酸銀、ヨウ素酸銀、ヨウ化銀、イソチオシアン酸銀、シアン化銀カリウム、乳酸銀、モリブデン酸銀、硝酸銀、亜硝酸銀、酸化銀(I)、酸化銀(II)、シュウ酸銀、過塩素酸銀、ペルフルオロ酪酸銀、ペルフルオロプロピオン酸銀、過マンガン酸銀、過レニウム酸銀、リン酸銀、ピクリン酸銀一水和物、プロピオン酸銀、セレン酸銀、セレン化銀、亜セレン酸銀、スルファジアジン銀、硫酸銀、硫化銀、亜硫酸銀、テルル化銀、テトラフルオロ硼酸銀、テトラヨードムキュリウム酸銀、テトラタングステン酸銀、チオシアン酸銀、p-トルエンスルホン酸銀、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸銀、トリフルオロ酢酸銀、及び、バナジン酸銀等が挙げられる。また、銀錯体の一例としては、ヒスチジン銀錯体、メチオニン銀錯体、システイン銀錯体、アスパラギン酸銀錯体、ピロリドンカルボン酸銀錯体、オキソテトラヒドロフランカルボン酸銀錯体、及び、イミダゾール銀錯体等が挙げられる。
 銀系抗ウイルス剤としては、抗菌性や抗ウイルス性がより優れる点で、担体と、担体上に担持された銀とを含む銀担持担体が好ましい。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子としては、担体と、担体上に担持された上記金属を含む金属担持担体が好ましく、銀担持担体がより好ましい。担体の種類は特に制限されず、公知の担体を用いることができる。担体としては、例えば、ゼオライト系抗ウイルス剤担体、ケイ酸カルシウム系抗ウイルス剤担体、リン酸ジルコニウム系抗ウイルス剤担体、リン酸カルシウム抗ウイルス剤担体、酸化亜鉛系抗ウイルス剤担体、溶解性ガラス系抗ウイルス剤担体、シリカゲル系抗ウイルス剤担体、活性炭系抗ウイルス剤担体、酸化チタン系抗ウイルス剤担体、チタニア系抗ウイルス剤担体、有機金属系抗ウイルス剤担体、イオン交換体セラミックス系抗ウイルス剤担体、層状リン酸塩-四級アンモニウム塩系抗ウイルス剤担体、及び、抗ウイルスステンレス担体等が挙げられるが、これらに制限されるものではない。担体として、より具体的には、リン酸亜鉛カルシウム、リン酸カルシウム、リン酸ジルコニウム、リン酸アルミニウム、ケイ酸カルシウム、活性炭、活性アルミナ、シリカゲル、ゼオライト、ヒドロキシアパタイト、リン酸ジルコニウム、リン酸チタン、チタン酸カリウム、含水酸化ビスマス、含水酸化ジルコニウム、及び、ハイドロタルサイト等が挙げられる。なお、ゼオライトとしては、例えば、チャバサイト、モルデナイト、エリオナイト、クリノプチロライト等の天然ゼオライト、A型ゼオライト、X型ゼオライト、及び、Y型ゼオライト等の合成ゼオライトが挙げられる。また、本発明の効果がより優れる点で、担体としては、所謂セラミックスが好ましい。即ち、抗ウイルス剤粒子としては、金属担持セラミックス粒子が好ましく、銀担持セラミックス粒子がより好ましい。なお、担体は、結晶性であっても、非晶性(アモルファス)であってもよいが、結晶性であることが好ましい。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子が金属を含有する場合、金属の含有量は、特に制限されないが、抗ウイルス剤粒子(金属担持担体)の全質量に対して、0.1~30質量%であることが好ましく、0.5~20質量%であることがより好ましい。
 市販の銀系抗ウイルス剤としては、例えば、シナネンゼオミック社製「ゼオミック」、富士シリシア化学社製「シルウェル」及び日本電子材料社製「バクテノン」等の銀ゼオライト系抗ウイルス剤;東亞合成社製「ノバロン」及び触媒化成工業社製「アトミーボール」等の銀を無機イオン交換体セラミックスに担持させてなる銀系抗ウイルス剤;日本イオン社製「ナノシルバー」等の銀粒子;並びに、富士ケミカル社製「バクテキラー」及び「バクテライト」及び石塚硝子社製「イオンピュア」等のセラミックスに対して銀を化学的に結合させた銀担持セラミックス粒子(銀セラミックス粒子)が挙げられる。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子の平均粒径は、取り扱いの容易性及び抗ウイルス層の透明性がバランス良く優れる点で、0.1~10μmが好ましく、0.3~3μmがより好ましい。なお、抗ウイルス剤粒子の平均粒径は、堀場製作所製のレーザ回折散乱式粒度分布測定装置を用いて50%体積累積径(D50)を3回測定し、得られた測定値の算術平均値を用いる。
 抗ウイルス層における抗ウイルス剤粒子の含有量は特に制限されないが、本発明の効果がより優れる点で、抗ウイルス層全質量に対して、0.1~20質量%であることが好ましく、0.2~10質量%であることがより好ましく、1.0~7質量%であることが更に好ましい。
 抗ウイルス剤粒子は、1種単独で使用してもよく、2種以上の抗ウイルス剤粒子を併用してもよい。また、抗ウイルス剤粒子以外の他の抗ウイルス剤を、抗ウイルス剤粒子と併用してもよい。他の抗ウイルス剤としては、例えば、フェノールエーテル誘導体、イミダゾール誘導体、スルホン誘導体、N-ハロアルキルチオ化合物、アニリド誘導体、ピロール誘導体、第4級アンモニウム塩、ピリジン系化合物、トリアジン系化合物、ベンゾイソチアゾリン系化合物、及び、イソチアゾリン系化合物等の有機系抗菌または抗ウイルス剤が挙げられる。なお、有機系抗菌または抗ウイルス剤としては、天然系抗菌または抗ウイルス剤も含まれる。天然系抗菌または抗ウイルス剤としては、カニ又はエビの甲殻等に含まれるキチンを加水分解して得られる塩基性多糖類のキトサンが挙げられる。
<バインダー>
 抗ウイルス層は、バインダーを含有する。バインダーとしては、特に制限されず、公知のバインダーが使用できる。バインダーとしては、例えば、ポリエステル樹脂、アクリル樹脂、メタクリル樹脂、メタクリル酸-マレイン酸共重合体からなる樹脂、ポリスチレン樹脂、フッ素樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、フッ素化ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリアミドイミド樹脂、ポリエーテルイミド樹脂、セルロースアシレート樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン樹脂、ポリカーボネート樹脂、脂環式ポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリアリレート樹脂、ポリエーテルスルホン樹脂、ポリスルホン樹脂、シクロオレフィルンコポリマーからなる樹脂、フルオレン環変性ポリカーボネート樹脂、脂環変性ポリカーボネート樹脂、及び、フルオレン環変性ポリエステル樹脂等が挙げられる。
 抗ウイルス層が含有するバインダーとしては、親水性基を有するポリマー(以下、「親水性ポリマー」ともいう。)が好ましい。抗ウイルス層が親水性ポリマーを含有することにより、抗ウイルス層がより親水性を示し、抗菌性や抗ウイルス性がより優れ、また、水等の洗浄液を用いた洗浄により抗ウイルス層表面に付着した汚染物質をより容易に除去することが可能となる。
 親水性基の種類は特に制限されず、例えば、ポリオキシアルキレン基(ポリオキシエチレン基、ポリオキシプロピレン基、オキシエチレン基とオキシプロピレン基とがブロック結合又はランダム結合したポリオキシアルキレン基等)、アミノ基、カルボキシ基、カルボキシ基のアルカリ金属塩、ヒドロキシ基、アルコキシ基、アミド基、カルバモイル基、スルホンアミド基、スルファモイル基、スルホン酸基、及び、スルホン酸基のアルカリ金属塩が挙げられる。なかでも、本発明の効果がより優れる点で、ポリオキシアルキレン基が好ましい。親水性ポリマーの主鎖の構造は特に制限されず、例えば、ポリウレタン、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、及び、ポリウレア挙げられる。なお、ポリ(メタ)アクリレートとは、ポリアクリレート及びポリメタクリレートの両者を含む概念である。
 親水性ポリマーとしては、上記親水性基を有するモノマー(以下、「親水性モノマー」ともいう。)を重合させて得られるポリマーが好ましい。親水性モノマーとは、上記親水性基と重合性基とを有する化合物(モノマー及び/又はオリゴマー)を意味する。
 親水性モノマー中における親水性基の数は特に制限されないが、抗ウイルス層がより親水性を示す点より、1個以上が好ましく、1~6個がより好ましく、1~3個が更に好ましい。
 親水性モノマー中における重合性基の種類は特に制限されず、例えば、ラジカル重合性基、カチオン重合性基、及び、アニオン重合性基等が挙げられる。ラジカル重合性基としては、(メタ)アクリロイル基、アクリルアミド基、ビニル基、スチリル基、及び、アリル基等が挙げられる。カチオン重合性基としては、ビニルエーテル基、オキシラニル基、及び、オキセタニル基等が挙げられる。なかでも、(メタ)アクリロイル基が好ましい。なお、(メタ)アクリロイル基とは、アクリロイル基及びメタアクリロイル基の両者を含む概念である。
 親水性モノマー中における重合性基の数は特に制限されないが、得られる抗ウイルス層の機械的強度がより優れる点で、2個以上が好ましく、2~6個がより好ましく、2~3個が更に好ましい。
 親水性モノマーの好適態様の一つとしては、以下の式(A)で表される化合物が挙げられる。
 式(A)中、Rは、水素原子又は置換基(1価の置換基)を表す。置換基の種類は特に制限されず、公知の置換基が挙げられ、例えば、ヘテロ原子を有していてもよい炭化水素基(例えば、アルキル基、アリール基)、及び、上記親水性基等が挙げられる。
 Rは、重合性基を表す。重合性基の定義は上述の通りである。
 Lは、単結合又は2価の連結基を表す。2価の連結基の種類は特に制限されず、例えば、-O-、-CO-、-NH-、-CO-NH-、-COO-、-O-COO-、アルキレン基、アリーレン基、ヘテロアリール基、及び、それらの組み合わせが挙げられる。Lは、ポリオキシアルキレン基を表す。ポリオキシアルキレン基とは、以下の式(B)で表される基を意味する。

 式(B)中、Rは、アルキレン基(例えば、エチレン基、プロピレン基)を表す。
 mは、2以上の整数を表し、2~10が好ましく、2~6がより好ましい。
 なお、*は、結合位置を表す。
 nは、1~4の整数を表す。
 上記親水性基と重合性基とを有する親水性モノマーとしては、市販品を用いることができる。そのような市販品としては、例えば、新中村化学工業社製「NKエステルA-GLY-9E」、東洋ケミカルズ社製「Miramer M4004」、及び、東洋ケミカルズ社製「Miramer M3150」が挙げられる。
 親水性ポリマーを製造する際、抗ウイルス層の機械的強度がより優れる点で、重合性基を2個以上有する多官能モノマーを使用することが好ましい。多官能モノマーは、いわゆる架橋剤として作用して、銀イオン等の金属イオンが移動しやすい3次元網目構造を有し、より優れた抗菌性や抗ウイルス性を発揮する親水性ポリマーを作製できるためである。上記の観点から、2種以上の多官能モノマーを使用することが好ましい。多官能モノマーは、親水性基を有していてもよく、有していなくてもよい。多官能モノマー中に含まれる重合性基の数は特に制限されず、抗ウイルス層の機械的強度がより優れる点、及び、取り扱い性の点から、2~10個が好ましく、2~6個がより好ましい。多官能モノマーとしては、例えば、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート、テトラメチロールメタンテトラアクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート、及び、ペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレートが挙げられる。このような多官能モノマー(架橋剤)としては、市販品が使用できる。そのような市販品としては、例えば、東新油脂社製「DPHA-76」(ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート)、日本化薬社製「KAYARAD PET-30」(ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレートとペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレートの混合物)、及び、新中村化学工業社製「A-DPH」(ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート)が挙げられる。
 親水性ポリマーとしては、2種以上の異なる親水性モノマーからなる共重合体が好ましい。官能基数及び親水性等の特性が異なる2種以上の親水性モノマーを用いることにより、抗ウイルス層の強度、親水性及び/又は光学特性を制御し、目的に応じた特性を抗ウイルス層に付与できる。上記の観点から、親水性ポリマーとしては、上記式(A)で表される化合物の1種以上、及び、多官能モノマーの1種以上からなる共重合体がより好ましく、式(A)で表される化合物の1種以上、及び、多官能モノマーの2種以上からなる共重合体が更に好ましい。親水性ポリマーが式(A)で表される化合物と多官能モノマーとの共重合体である場合、式(A)で表される化合物と多官能モノマーとの混合比は特に制限されないが、多官能モノマーの含有量(合計含有量)に対する上記式(A)で表される化合物の含有量(合計含有量)の比率が、質量比で0.01~10であることが好ましく、0.03~1であることがより好ましい。
 バインダーとして、上述の組成を有するラテックスを使用することもできる。種々のラテックスが使用できるが、親水性を有するという点、及び、水系塗布を活用できる点で、アクリルラテックスが好ましい。同様の観点から、バインダーとして、ポリビニルアルコール等の水系ポリマーを使用することも好ましい態様の1つである。
 また親水性を有するバインダーとして、シリケート系化合物の重合体であるシロキサン樹脂を用いることもできる。シリケート系化合物とは、ケイ素原子に加水分解性基が結合した化合物、その加水分解物、及び、その加水分解縮合物からなる群より選ばれる化合物である。
 バインダーは1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。抗ウイルス層におけるバインダーの含有量としては、特に制限されないが、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して3~95質量%であることが好ましく、5~90質量%であることがより好ましく、10~85質量%であることが更に好ましい。
<光拡散粒子>
 抗ウイルス層は、光拡散粒子を含有する。光拡散粒子は、いわゆるマット剤として機能する粒子であれば特に制限されず、有機粒子であってもよく、無機粒子であってもよく、有機無機複合粒子であってもよい。有機粒子としては、例えば、樹脂粒子が挙げられる。より具体的には、シリコーン樹脂粒子、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)等のアクリル樹脂粒子、ナイロン樹脂粒子、スチレン樹脂粒子、ポリエチレン粒子、ウレタン樹脂粒子、及び、ベンゾグアナミン粒子が挙げられる。有機粒子は、中空構造を有する粒子であってもよい。無機粒子としては、ダイヤモンド、酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化鉛、炭酸鉛、酸化亜鉛、硫化亜鉛、酸化アンチモン、酸化ケイ素、及び、酸化アルミニウム等の粒子を用いることができ、好適な屈折率を有する粒子の入手容易性の観点からは酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウムが好ましい。光拡散粒子としては、虹ムラをより効果的に抑制できるという理由から、シリコーン樹脂粒子又はアクリル樹脂粒子が好ましく、アクリル樹脂粒子がより好ましい。
 光拡散粒子の市販品としては、綜研化学社製「MX-500」、「MX-300」、及び、「MX-80h3wT」、並びに、積水化学工業製「SSX-103」等が挙げられる。
 光拡散粒子の平均粒径は、虹ムラをより効果的に抑制できるという理由から、0.1~15μmが好ましく、1.0~10μmがより好ましく、1.5~5μmが更に好ましい。
 光拡散粒子は、1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。光拡散粒子の含有量は特に制限されないが、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して1~15質量%であることが好ましく、3~12質量%であることがより好ましく、6~8質量%であることが更に好ましい。
<任意成分>
 抗ウイルス層は、本発明の効果を奏する限りにおいて、上記以外の任意成分を含有してもよい。任意成分としては、例えば、分散剤、界面活性剤、及び、親水性付与剤が挙げられる。
(分散剤)
 抗ウイルス層は、分散剤を含有してもよい。分散剤は、抗ウイルス剤粒子の分散性を向上させる機能を有する化合物である。分散剤としては特に制限されず、公知の分散剤が使用できるが、酸性基を有する分散剤が好ましく、酸性基及び塩基性基の両方を有する分散剤がより好ましい。酸性基としてはカルボキシ基、スルホン酸基及びリン酸基が挙げられる。塩基性基としてはアミノ基、アミド基が挙げられる。
 分散剤の市販品としては、例えば、DISPERBYK-102、DISPERBYK-106、DISPERBYK-108、DISPERBYK-110、DISPERBYK-111、DISPERBYK-140、DISPERBYK-142、DISPERBYK-9076、DISPERBYK-118及びDISPERBYK-180(以上、ビックケミー社製)、Solsperse26000、Solsperse36000、及びSolsperse41000(以上、Lubrizol社製)、並びに、アジスパーPB821、アジスパーPB822、アジスパーPB824、及び、アジスパーPB881(以上、味の素ファインテクノ社製)が挙げられる。なかでも、酸性基及び塩基性基の両方を有する、DISPERBYK-180、又は、アジスパーPB881が好ましい。
 分散剤は1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。抗ウイルス層が分散剤を含有する場合、分散剤の含有量は、抗ウイルス剤粒子の全質量に対して、10~500質量%であることが好ましい。
(界面活性剤)
 抗ウイルス層は、界面活性剤を含有してもよい。界面活性剤により抗ウイルス層の表面の水接触角を所望の範囲に調整できる。また、下記の抗ウイルス層形成用組成物を用いて塗布法により抗ウイルス層を形成する場合、厚さがより均一な塗布膜及び/又は表面がより平滑な塗布膜を形成しやすい。界面活性剤としては、特に制限されず、公知の界面活性剤が使用できる。界面活性剤としては、例えば、ノニオン性界面活性剤、アニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤、及び、両性界面活性剤等が挙げられる。
 ノニオン性界面活性剤としては、例えば、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル等のエステル型、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレングリコール等のエーテル型、脂肪酸ポリエチレングリコール、脂肪酸ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン等のエステルエーテル型、及び、脂肪酸アルカノールアミド等のアルカノールアミド型が挙げられる。より具体的なノニオン性界面活性剤としては、ポリエチレングリコールモノ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリエチレングリコールモノラウリルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールモノステアリルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールモノセチルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールモノラウリルエステル、及び、ポリエチレングリコールモノステアリルエステルが挙げられる。
 イオン性界面活性剤としては、アルキル硫酸塩、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩、及び、アルキルリン酸塩等のアニオン性界面活性剤;アルキルトリメチルアンモニウム塩、及び、ジアルキルジメチルアンモニウム塩等のカチオン性界面活性剤;並びに、アルキルカルボキシベタイン等の両性界面活性剤が挙げられる。
 界面活性剤としては、フッ素系界面活性剤を用いることもできる。フッ素系界面活性剤としては、特開2014-119605号公報の段落0082~0090に記載の化合物が挙げられる。
 フッ素系界面活性剤は、重合性基を含有することも好ましい。重合性基を含有する界面活性剤としては、X-71-1203E(信越化学社製)、フロロサーフ(登録商標)FS-7072(フロロテクノロジー株式会社製)、並びに、メガファック(登録商標)F-780-F、RS-101、RS-102、RS-718K、及び、RS-72-K(以上、DIC株式会社製)等が挙げられる。
 炭素数が7以上の直鎖状パーフルオロアルキル基を有する化合物は、環境適性が懸念されるため、フッ素系界面活性剤としては、ペルフルオロオクタン酸(PFOA)及びペルフルオロオクタンスルホン酸(PFOS)の代替材料を使用することが好ましい。
 界面活性剤は1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。抗ウイルス層が界面活性剤を含有する場合、界面活性剤の含有量は、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して、0.1~10質量%であることが好ましい。
(親水性付与剤)
 抗ウイルス層には、親水性付与剤が含まれていてもよい。親水性付与剤は、抗ウイルス層の表面の水接触角を低下させる機能を有する化合物であって、上記界面活性剤に含まれない化合物を意図する。親水性付与剤としては、抗ウイルス層の表面の水接触角を低下させる機能を有する化合物であれば特に制限されず、例えば、エチル(メタ)アクリレート、n-ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、及び、イソブチル(メタ)アクリレート等が挙げられる。親水性付与剤は1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。抗ウイルス層が親水性付与剤を含有する場合、親水性付与剤の含有量は、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して0.1~30質量%であることが好ましい。
 抗ウイルス層が含有してもよい上記以外の任意成分としては、例えば、後述する重合開始剤、紫外線吸収剤、充填剤、老化防止剤、帯電防止剤、難燃剤、接着性付与剤、酸化防止剤、消泡剤、レベリング剤、艶消し剤、光安定剤、消臭剤、染料、香料、及び、顔料が挙げられる。
<抗ウイルス層の物性>
 抗ウイルス層の厚さは、特に制限されないが、膜強度及びカールの発生抑制の観点から0.01~10μmが好ましく、0.5~5μmがより好ましく、1~3μmが更に好ましい。なお、抗ウイルス層の厚さは、抗ウイルス層を有するサンプル片を樹脂に埋め込み、ミクロトームで断面を削り出し、削り出した断面を走査型電子顕微鏡で観察し、測定する。抗ウイルス層の厚さは、抗ウイルス層の任意の10点の位置における抗ウイルス層の厚さを上記の方法により測定し、測定値の算術平均値とする。
 抗ウイルス層の表面の水接触角は、抗ウイルス層の表面に皮脂等の汚れが付着しにくいことから、20度以上が好ましく、70度以上がより好ましい。上限値は特に制限されないが、120度以下が好ましく、110度以下がより好ましい。本明細書において、水接触角は、以下の方法により測定した水接触角をいう。接触角計(協和界面科学株式会社製、FAMMS DM-701)を用い、水平に保った抗ウイルス層の表面に、純水(液滴2μL)を滴下する。滴下後、20秒経過した時点での接触角を10箇所で測定し、測定結果の算術平均値を抗ウイルス層の水接触角とする。なお、試験はJIS(Japanese Industrial Standards) R 3257:1999の静滴法に準拠し、室温20℃の条件下で実施する。
〔他の層〕
 抗ウイルスフィルムは、上記の基材及び抗ウイルス層以外の他の層を有していてもよい。基材及び抗ウイルス層以外の他の層としては、粘着層、剥離フィルム、上記の保護シート、及び、上記の易接着層(プライマー層)が挙げられる。
 抗ウイルスフィルムは、粘着層を有していてもよい。粘着層は、抗ウイルスフィルムを、種々の機器の抗ウイルス層形成面に貼り付けるためのものである。粘着層は、抗ウイルスフィルムを種々の抗ウイルス層形成面に貼り付けることができればどのようなものでもよく、公知の粘着剤を用いて形成されたものであってもよい。粘着層に使用可能な粘着剤としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル系粘着剤、ゴム系粘着剤、シリコーン系粘着剤、ウレタン系粘着剤、及び、ポリエステル系粘着剤が挙げられる。(メタ)アクリル系粘着剤とは、アクリル系粘着剤及び/又はメタクリル系粘着剤を意図する。抗ウイルスフィルムが粘着層を有する場合、基材の一方の表面に抗ウイルス層が配置され、基材の抗ウイルス層が配置された表面とは反対側の表面に粘着層が配置されていることが好ましい。これにより、抗ウイルスフィルムを機器の抗ウイルス層形成面に貼り付けた際、露出面により近い側に抗ウイルス層が配置される。
 粘着層の厚さは、特に制限されないが、1~30μmが好ましく、2~20μmがより好ましい。
 粘着層の粘着力は、特に制限されないが、2~20cN/25mmが好ましい。粘着力が2cN/25mm以上であるとタッチパネル等の表面に貼り付けて使用する際にめくれ等が生じにくい。一方、粘着力が20cN/25mm以下であると、抗ウイルスフィルムを剥離する際にスムーズに剥離することができる。
 抗ウイルスフィルムが粘着層を有する場合、抗ウイルスフィルムは、剥離フィルムを更に有することが好ましい。剥離フィルムは、抗ウイルスフィルムの使用時まで、粘着層を保護するために粘着層に接着される。剥離フィルムは、粘着層を保護できればどのようなものでもよく、公知の剥離フィルムが使用できる。剥離フィルムとしては、例えば、シリコーン系化合物、長鎖アルキル系化合物、及び、ポリビニルアルコールカルバメート等の離型剤が挙げられる。剥離フィルムの厚さは、特に制限されないが、1~30μmが好ましく、2~20μmがより好ましい。
〔抗ウイルスフィルムの製造方法〕
 抗ウイルスフィルムの製造方法は、基材と、基材上に配置される抗ウイルス層とを有する抗ウイルスフィルムを製造できる方法であれば、特に制限されない。抗ウイルスフィルムの製造方法としては、例えば、基材上に抗ウイルス層を形成する方法、抗ウイルス層上に基材を形成する方法、予め形成した抗ウイルス層と予め形成した基材とを貼り合わせる方法、及び、共押出し等によって抗ウイルス層と基材とを形成しながら接着する方法が挙げられる。中でも、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物を基材上の所定の位置に塗布して塗布膜を形成して、塗布膜を乾燥及び/又は硬化して、抗ウイルスフィルムを形成する方法(塗布法)が好ましく、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物を基材上の所定の位置に塗布して塗布膜を形成する工程と、塗布膜を加熱して乾燥する工程と、塗布膜に対して紫外線を照射することにより塗布膜を硬化して抗ウイルス層を形成する工程と、を有する方法がより好ましい。
 抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、抗ウイルス剤粒子、バインダー及び光拡散粒子を少なくとも含有する。バインダーがモノマーを重合させて得られるポリマーである場合、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、抗ウイルス剤粒子、モノマー(例えば、親水性モノマー及び多官能モノマー)及び光拡散粒子を少なくとも含有していてもよい。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物については、後述する。
 抗ウイルス層形成用組成物を基材の表面に塗布する方法は特に制限されず、公知の塗布法が適用できる。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物を基材の表面に塗布する方法としては、例えば、スプレー法、ワイヤーバーコーティング法、押し出しコーティング法、ダイレクトグラビアコーティング法、リバースグラビアコーティング法、インクジェット法、ダイコーティング法、静電塗装法、及び、ワイプ法が挙げられる。
 上記の塗布法により基材の表面に形成された塗布膜を、乾燥及び/又は硬化することにより、抗ウイルス層が形成される。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物の塗布膜から溶媒を除去して乾燥する方法としては、例えば、加熱処理が挙げられる。加熱処理の条件としては特に制限されないが、例えば、加熱温度としては、20~150℃が好ましく、20~60℃がより好ましい。また、加熱時間としては、15~600秒間が好ましい。
 露光処理により、モノマーを含有する抗ウイルス層形成用組成物の塗布膜を硬化して抗ウイルス層を形成してもよい。このときの露光処理としては、特に制限されないが、190mJ/cm以上の照射量の紫外線を照射することにより、塗布膜を硬化することが好ましい。照射量の上限は特に制限されないが、600mJ/cm以下が好ましい。紫外線照射の場合、超高圧水銀灯、高圧水銀灯、低圧水銀灯、カーボンアーク、キセノンアーク、及びメタルハライドランプ等の光線から発する紫外線が利用できる。
<抗ウイルス層形成用組成物>
 抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、抗ウイルス剤粒子、バインダーまたはモノマー、及び、光拡散粒子を少なくとも含む。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、抗ウイルス層に含まれる上記任意成分を含んでいてもよい。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、溶剤を含有することが好ましい。また、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物がモノマーを含有する場合、重合開始剤を更に含有することが好ましい。抗ウイルス層形成用が重合開始剤を含む場合、ポリマーを含有する抗ウイルス層はより優れた機械的強度を有する。溶剤及び重合開始剤以外の成分については、その好ましい態様も含めて、既に説明した通りである。
 抗ウイルス層形成用組成物に含まれる溶剤としては特に制限されず、水及び有機溶剤が挙げられる。中でも、塗布膜の厚さがより均一になりやすい点で、溶剤は、有機溶剤を含有することが好ましい。有機溶剤としては、例えば、アルコール系溶剤、エステル系溶剤、ケトン系溶剤、及び、エーテル系溶剤が挙げられ、より具体的には、メタノール、エタノール、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、シクロヘキサン、酢酸エチル、エチレンジクロライド、テトラヒドロフラン、トルエン、エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、エチレングリコールジメチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、アセチルアセトン、シクロヘキサノン、ジアセトンアルコール、エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート、エチレングリコールエチルエーテルアセテート、エチレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルアセテート、3-メトキシプロパノール、メトキシエタノール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジエチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート、n-プロパノール、イソプロパノール、n-ブタノール、2-ブタノール、i-ブタノール、t-ブタノール、n-ペンタノール、t-アミルアルコール、n-ヘキサノール、カプリルアルコール、ラウリルアルコール、ミリスチルアルコール、フェニールエチルアルコール、エチレングリコール、エチレングリコールモノ-n-ブチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノ-n-ブチルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールモノ-n-ブチルエーテル、テトラエチレングリコールモノ-n-ブチルエーテル、及び、ジプロピレングリコールモノブチルエーテルが挙げられる。有機溶剤の沸点は、特に制限されないが、70~160℃が好ましく、80~150℃がより好ましい。溶剤は1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。なかでも、特性が異なる溶剤を2種以上併用することが好ましく、特性が異なる溶剤を3種以上併用することがより好ましい。上記特性としては、例えば、沸点、化学構造及び極性が挙げられる。即ち、溶剤として、沸点が異なる溶剤を2種以上併用することが好ましく、沸点が異なる溶剤を3種以上併用することがより好ましい。また、アルコール系溶剤、エステル系溶剤、ケトン系溶剤、及び、エーテル系溶剤からなる群より選ばれる2種以上を併用することが好ましい。上記のように特性が異なる溶剤を併用し、固形分となる原料の種類、塗工方法、及び、乾燥方法等に合わせた比率を選択することで、抗ウイルス層の表面特性を制御できる。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物における固形分の含有量、即ち、溶剤以外の成分の合計含有量は特に制限されないが、厚さがより均一な塗布膜を形成しやすい点で、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物の全質量に対して、1~50質量%であることが好ましい。
 重合開始剤としては特に制限されず、公知の重合開始剤が使用できる。重合開始剤としては、例えば、熱重合開始剤、及び光重合開始剤が挙げられ、反応効率が優れる点で、光重合開始剤が好ましい。重合開始剤としては、例えば、ベンゾフェノン、及び、フェニルフォスフィンオキシド等の芳香族ケトン類;α-ヒドロキシアルキルフェノン系化合物(BASF社製、IRGACURE(Omnirad)184、127、2959、及びDAROCUR1173等);並びに、フェニルフォスフィンオキシド系化合物(モノアシルフォスフィンオキサイド:BASF社製IRGACURE(Omnirad) TPO、及び、ビスアシルフォスフィンオキサイド:BASF社製IRGACURE(Omnirad) 819)が挙げられる。重合開始剤は、1種を単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。抗ウイルス層形成用組成物が重合開始剤を含有する場合、重合開始剤の含有量は特に制限されないが、モノマーの含有量に対して、0.1~15質量%であることが好ましく、1~6質量%であることがより好ましい。
 抗ウイルス層形成用組成物は、上記成分を混合することにより調製できる。上記成分の混合の順番は特に制限されないが、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物が分散剤を含む場合、抗ウイルス剤粒子及び分散剤を先に混合して、抗ウイルス剤粒子が分散している分散液を調製してもよい。
〔抗ウイルスフィルムの用途〕
 本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、種々の用途に適用できる。例えば、抗ウイルスフィルムを種々の物品の表面に配置することにより、物品の表面に抗菌性や抗ウイルス性を付与できる。特に、本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムをタッチパネルの画像表示部の表面に配置して、抗ウイルスフィルム付きタッチパネルを製造することが好ましい。本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムによって、タッチパネル操作等で頻繁に指等が接触する状況であっても、良好な抗菌性や抗ウイルス性を発揮できるとともに、良好な虹ムラ抑止効果が発揮される。
 抗ウイルスフィルム付きタッチパネルの用途は、特に制限されず、例えば、パーソナルコンピューター、携帯電話、ゲーム機、医療機器、現金自動預け払い機(ATM)、注文装置、券売機、複写機、及び、カーナビゲーションシステム等の電子機器において、入力装置及び画像表示装置として使用できる。
 本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、フェイスガードや仕切り板として用いることもできる。本発明の抗ウイルスフィルムは、壁又は窓ガラス等に貼り付けて用いることもできる。
 以下に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに具体的に説明する。以下の実施例に示す材料、使用量、割合、処理内容、処理手順等は、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない限り、適宜、変更することができる。従って、本発明の範囲は以下に示す具体例に限定されるものではない。
〔ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの製造〕
[製造例1]
<ポリエステル樹脂のペレット(原料ポリエステル樹脂)の製造工程>
 連続式重合装置を用いて、以下の(1)、(2)の手順にてポリエステル樹脂を連続的に製造した。
(1)エステル化反応
 混合槽に、ポリエステル樹脂前駆体として高純度テレフタル酸4.7トンとエチレングリコール1.8トンを仕込み、90分間かけて混合物を混合してスラリーを形成した。得られたスラリーを、3800kg/hの流量で連続的に混合槽から第1エステル化反応槽に供給した。更に、Ti元素にクエン酸が配位したクエン酸キレートチタン錯体(VERTEC AC-420、ジョンソン・マッセイ社製)のエチレングリコール溶液を第1エステル化反応槽に連続的に供給し、槽内温度250℃、攪拌下で平均滞留時間約4.3時間で反応を行った。このとき、クエン酸キレートチタン錯体は、Ti添加量が元素換算値でポリエステル樹脂前駆体の総量に対して9質量ppmとなるように連続的に添加した。得られた反応物(オリゴマー)の酸価は500eq/トンであった。
 第1エステル化反応槽で得られた反応物を第2エステル化反応槽に移送し、攪拌下、槽内温度250℃で、平均滞留時間で1.2時間反応させ、酸価が190eq/トンのオリゴマーを得た。第2エステル化反応槽の内部は、オリゴマーが供給される順に第1ゾーン、第2ゾーン及び第3ゾーンからなる3ゾーンに仕切られており、第2ゾーンから酢酸マグネシウムのエチレングリコール溶液を、Mg添加量が元素換算値でオリゴマーの総量に対して75質量ppmになるように連続的に供給し、続いて第3ゾーンから、リン酸トリメチルのエチレングリコール溶液を、P添加量が元素換算値でオリゴマーの総量に対して60質量ppmになるように連続的に供給した。
(2)重縮合反応
 上記で得られたエステル化反応生成物を連続的に第1重縮合反応槽に供給し、攪拌下、反応温度270℃、槽内圧力20torr(2.67×10-3MPa)で、平均滞留時間約1.8時間で重縮合させた。
 更に、第1重縮合反応槽で得られた中間重合物を第2重縮合反応槽に移送し、攪拌下、槽内温度276℃、槽内圧力3.0torr(3.99×10-4MPa)で滞留時間約1.2時間の条件で反応(重縮合)させた。
 次いで、第2重縮合反応槽で得られた中間重合物を第3重縮合反応槽に移送し、槽内温度278℃、槽内圧力1.0torr(1.33×10-4MPa)で、滞留時間1.5時間の条件で反応(重縮合)させ、ポリエステル樹脂(ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)樹脂)を生成物として第3重縮合反応槽から排出した。
 得られた生成物を、冷水にストランド状に吐出し、直ちにカッティングしてポリエステル樹脂のペレット(断面:長径約4mm、短径約2mm、長さ:約3mm)である原料ポリエステルを作製した。
<ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの製造工程>
-フィルム成形工程-
 上記工程で得られた原料ポリエステルを、含水率100質量ppm以下に乾燥させた後、直径50mmの単軸押出機のホッパーに投入した。原料ポリエステルを290℃に加熱して溶融し、ギアポンプ、メルトフィルター(リーフディスクフィルター;NF2M-4C(日本精線株式会社製))を介し、溶融温度280℃でダイから押出した。ダイから押出した溶融樹脂は、温度25℃に設定された冷却キャストドラム上に押出し、静電印加法を用い冷却キャストドラムに密着させた。冷却キャストドラムに対向配置された剥ぎ取りロールを用いて剥離し、未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを得た。
 得られた未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムは、固有粘度IVが0.62dL/gで、カルボキシ基量が30eq/tonで、長手方向の屈折率が1.573で、結晶化度が0.2%であった。
 固有粘度IVは、未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを、1,1,2,2-テトラクロロエタン/フェノール(=2/3[質量比])混合溶媒に溶解し、上記混合溶媒中の25℃での溶液粘度から求めた。
 未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの屈折率は以下の方法で測定した。
 二枚の偏光板を用いて、未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの配向軸方向を求め、配向軸方向が直交するように4cm×2cmの長方形を切り出し、測定用サンプルとした。このサンプルについて、直交する二軸の屈折率(nx,ny)、及び厚さ方向の屈折率(nz)をアッベ屈折率計(アタゴ社製、NAR-4T、測定波長589nm)によって求めた。
 未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの結晶化度は以下の方法で算出した。
 結晶化度については、フィルムの密度から算出することができる。フィルムの密度X(g/cm)、結晶化度0%での密度1.335g/cm、結晶化度100%での密度1.501g/cmを用い、下記計算式より結晶化度(%)を算出した。
 結晶化度={Z×(X-Y)}/{X×(Z-Y)}×100
 なお、密度の測定は、JIS K7112に準じて測定を行った。
-縦延伸工程-
 未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを周速の異なる2対のニップロールの間に通し、下記縦延伸条件で縦方向(搬送方向)に延伸(縦延伸)した。
 <<縦延伸条件>>
 ・予熱温度:80℃
 ・縦延伸温度:90℃
 ・縦延伸倍率:3.3倍
-横延伸工程-
 縦延伸したポリエステル樹脂フィルムをテンター(横延伸機)に導き、フィルムの端部をクリップで把持しながら予熱した。予熱温度は90℃とした。次いで、予熱された未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを、テンターを用いて下記の横延伸条件で幅方向に延伸(横延伸)した。
 <<横延伸条件>>
 ・横延伸温度(横延伸中の平均温度):90℃
 ・横延伸倍率:3.3倍
 ・横延伸開始時の膜面温度:95℃
 ・横延伸終了時の膜面温度:150℃
 膜面温度は、放射温度計(林電工製、型番:RT61-2、放射率0.95で使用)により測定した。
 横延伸後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムを、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムに対して上下方向からの冷風を吹き出しノズルからポリエステル樹脂フィルムに当て、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの最低膜面温度TMCが85℃になるように中間冷却部で冷却した。なお、中間冷却部のポリエステル樹脂フィルムの膜面温度は、放射温度計(林電工製、型番:RT61-2、放射率0.95で使用)により測定した。中間冷却部内にMD方向に均等に10点膜面温度を測定し、その最低温度を最低膜面温度TMCとした。
 次いで、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムに対して上下方向からの熱風を熱風吹き出しノズルからフィルムに当て、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの膜面温度を下記範囲に制御しながら、熱固定処理を行った。
 ・最高到達膜面温度(熱固定温度):170℃
 ・熱固定時間:15秒
 熱固定処理後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムを、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムに対して上下方向からの熱風を熱風吹き出しノズルからポリエステル樹脂フィルムに当て、下記の温度に加熱し、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを緩和した。
 ・熱緩和温度:熱固定部の最高到達膜面温度-10℃(製造例1の場合、160℃)
 ・熱緩和率:TD方向(フィルム幅方向)15%、MD方向(フィルム流れ方向)5.5%
 次に、熱緩和後のポリエステル樹脂フィルムをポリエステル樹脂フィルムの膜面温度が40℃となる冷却温度にて冷却した。なお膜面温度は、放射温度計(林電工製、型番:RT61-2、放射率0.95で使用)により測定した。
 冷却およびクリップからのフィルムの開放の後、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの両端を30cmずつトリミングした。トリミング後のフィルム幅は、2.0mであった。その後、両端に幅10mmで押出し加工(ナーリング)を行なった後、張力18kg/mで、10000mの長さのフィルムをロール形態に巻き取った。以上のようにして、ロール形態で巻かれた、厚さ40μmの製造例1のポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例2]
 製造例1において縦延伸倍率を3.4倍、横延伸倍率を3.8倍に変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例3]
 製造例1において縦延伸倍率を3.0倍、横延伸倍率を3.0倍に変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例4]
 製造例1においてポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚みを19μmに変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例5]
 製造例1において、実施例1においてフィルムの厚みを63μmに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例6]
〔ポリエステルフィルムの製造〕
 製造例1において、原料ポリエステルの溶融温度を300℃に変更して未延伸ポリエステル樹脂フィルムを得た以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例7]
 製造例1において、ポリエステル樹脂の合成の際に、重合触媒として三酸化アンチモンのエチレングリコール溶液をSb添加量が元素換算値で120質量ppmとなるように連続的に供給し、第二エステル化反応槽には、酢酸マグネシウムのエチレングリコール溶液と、リン酸トリメチルのエチレングリコール溶液を、Mg添加量およびP添加量が元素換算値でそれぞれ65質量ppm、35質量ppmになるように連続的に供給した以外は、製造例1と同様にして、ポリエステル樹脂のペレット(原料ポリエステル)を製造した。得られた原料ポリエステルを用いて、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例8]
 製造例1においてポリエステル樹脂の合成において、クエン酸キレートチタン錯体の添加量を、Ti添加量が元素換算値で4.5質量ppmとなるように変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂のペレット(原料ポリエステル)を製造した。得られた原料ポリエステルを用いて、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例9]
 製造例1においてポリエステル樹脂の合成において、クエン酸キレートチタン錯体の添加量を、Ti添加量が元素換算値で16質量ppmとなるように変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂のペレット(原料ポリエステル)を製造した。得られた原料ポリエステルを用いて、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例10]
 製造例1において横延伸倍率を3.8倍、横延伸後の熱固定温度を150℃に変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[製造例11]
 製造例1において縦延伸倍率を3.2倍、横延伸倍率を3.2倍、横延伸後の熱固定温度を190℃に変更した以外は、製造例1と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[比較製造例1]
 製造例7において、縦延伸倍率を3.4倍、横延伸倍率を4.0倍、熱固定温度を230℃とし、延伸後の厚みが100μmとなるようにした以外は、製造例7と同様にしてポリエステル樹脂フィルムを製造した。
[評価]
<面配向係数((nx+ny)/2-nz)>
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムについて、nx(ポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の遅相軸方向の屈折率)、ny(ポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の進相軸方向の屈折率)、nz(ポリエステル樹脂フィルム厚み方向の屈折率)の測定を行った。具体的には、二枚の偏光板を用いて、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの配向軸方向を求め、配向軸方向が直交するように4cm×2cmの長方形を切り出し、測定用サンプルとした。このサンプルについて、直交する二軸の屈折率(nx、ny)、及び厚さ方向の屈折率(nz)をアッベ屈折率計(アタゴ社製、NAR-4T、測定波長589nm)によって求めた。その値から、「(nx+ny)/2-nz」の値を計算した。下記表の面配向係数の欄に、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの「(nx+ny)/2-nz」の値を記す。
<フィルム厚み>
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚みは、以下のようにして求めた。
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムに対して、接触式膜厚測定計(アンリツ社製)を用い、縦延伸した方向(長手方向)に0.5mにわたり等間隔に50点をサンプリングし、さらにフィルム幅方向(長手方向に直交する方向)にフィルム全幅にわたり等間隔(幅方向に50等分)に50点をサンプリングした後、これらの100点の厚みを測定した。これら100点の平均の厚みを求め、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚みとした。
<プレピーク温度>
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムについて、昇温速度10℃/分の条件で30℃から300℃まで示差走査熱量測定し、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの融解ピークの前に現れる微小吸熱ピークを測定して、ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度を求めた。
<MD熱収縮率>
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムについて、幅方向中央部と、両端の3点を裁断し、TD方向30mm、MD方向120mmの大きさの3種の試料片Mを作成した。
 3種の試料片Mに対し、MD方向で100mmの間隔となるように、2本の基準線を入れ、無張力下で80℃の加熱オーブン中に24時間静置した。この静置の後、3種の試料片Mを室温まで冷却して、2本の基準線の間隔をそれぞれ測定し、それら3つの平均値をA(単位;mm)とした。測定されたAおよび「100×(100-A)/100」の式から算出された数値をMD熱収縮率とした。
<TD熱収縮率>
 各製造例のポリエステル樹脂フィルムについて、幅方向中央部と、両端の3点を裁断し、MD方向30mm、TD方向120mmの大きさの3種の試料片Mを作成した。
 3種の試料片Mに対し、TD方向で100mmの間隔となるように、2本の基準線を入れ、無張力下で80℃の加熱オーブン中に24時間静置した。この静置の後、3種の試料片Mを室温まで冷却して、2本の基準線の間隔をそれぞれ測定し、それら3つの平均値をA(単位;mm)とした。測定されたAおよび「100×(100-A)/100」の式から算出された数値をMD熱収縮率とした。
 各製造例で用いた触媒、製膜条件およびフィルム物性を下記表に記す。なお、触媒の種類の欄に記載のTi1は、「クエン酸キレートチタン錯体」であり、Sb1は、「三酸化アンチモン」である。また、触媒の添加量の欄に記載の数値は、触媒としてTi1を用いた場合は、ポリエステル樹脂前駆体の総量に対するクエン酸キレートチタン錯体の元素換算値でのTi添加量であり、触媒としてSb1を用いた場合は、ポリエステル樹脂前駆体の総量に対する三酸化アンチモンの元素換算値でのSb添加量である。
〔抗ウイルス層形成用組成物の調製〕
 下記表に記載の素材を混合し、得られた混合液を撹拌して、抗ウイルス層形成用組成物(組成物A-1、A-2)を調製した。組成物A-1、A-2の固形分濃度は、26.0質量%であった。下記表に記載の数値は質量部である。
 上記表に記載の素材の詳細は以下の通りである。
 ・モノマー1:東新油脂社製「DPHA-76」(ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート、多官能モノマー、固形分76質量%)
 ・モノマー2:日本化薬社製「KAYARAD PET-30」(ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレートとペンタエリスリトールテトラアクリレートの混合物、多官能モノマー)
 ・モノマー3:新中村化学工業社製「NKエステルA-GLY-9E」(エチレンオキサイド9モル変性グリセリントリアクリレート、上述した式(A)で表される親水性モノマー)
 ・抗ウイルス剤粒子1:リン酸ジルコニウム系銀系抗菌剤(東亞合成社製、平均粒子径1.0μm、銀含有量3.7質量%、リン酸ジルコニウム系担体)
 ・光拡散粒子1:綜研化学社製「MX-300」(アクリル樹脂粒子、平均粒子径3.0μm)
 ・光拡散粒子2:日本ペイント・インダストリアルコーティングス社製「FS-101」(アクリル樹脂粒子、平均粒子径0.08μm)
 ・重合開始剤1:BASF社製「Omnirad 184」
 ・分散剤1:BYK社製「DISPERBYK-180」
 ・界面活性剤1:信越化学社製「X-71-1203E」(2-イソシアネートエチルアクリレート及びエチレングリコールから構成されるウレタンアクリレート系フッ素樹脂、固形分20質量%)
 ・溶剤1:イソプロピルアルコール
 ・溶剤2:1-メトキシ-2-プロピルアセテート
 ・溶剤3:1-メトキシ-2-プロパノール
〔抗ウイルスフィルムの製造〕
[実施例1]
 製造例1で得られたポリエステル樹脂フィルムの片面に、ウレタン樹脂とシリカ粒子とを含む厚さ0.1μmの易接着層を形成した。ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの易接着層側の表面に、組成物A-1を塗布し、塗膜を形成した。次いで、塗布膜を60℃で2分間加熱して乾燥させた後、塗布膜に290mJ/cmの照射量の紫外線を照射して硬化させ、抗ウイルス層を形成した。形成した抗ウイルス層の厚さは2.5μmであった。また、抗ウイルス層におけるバインダー(上記モノマー1、モノマー2及びモノマー3を重合してなる親水性ポリマー)、抗菌剤粒子、及び、光拡散粒子の含有量は、それぞれ、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して76.5質量%、2.4質量%、及び、7.0質量%であった。
[実施例2~11]
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの種類をそれぞれ下記表に記載のものに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして抗ウイルスフィルムを製造した。抗ウイルス層におけるバインダー(上記モノマー1、モノマー2及びモノマー3を重合してなる親水性ポリマー)、抗菌剤粒子、及び、光拡散粒子の含有量は、それぞれ、抗ウイルス層の全質量に対して76.5質量%、2.4質量%、及び、7.0質量%であった。
[比較例1、2]
 ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの種類および抗ウイルス層形成用組成物をそれぞれ下記表に記載のものに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして抗ウイルスフィルムを製造した。
[評価]
<抗ウイルス性/抗菌性の評価> (抗インフルエンザウイルス性、抗新型コロナウイルス性および抗大腸菌性)
 抗ウイルスフィルムの抗ウイルス性/抗菌性を、以下の方法により測定した。
 抗ウイルスフィルムを50mm角の正方形に切り出し、切り出した試験片を滅菌シャーレ内に配置して検体を準備した。
 (抗インフルエンザウイルス性および抗新型コロナウイルス性の評価)
 準備した試験片の抗菌層の表面に、ウイルス数が1×10~5×10PFU/mlとなるように調製したインフルエンザウイルス液または新型コロナウイルス(SARS-CoV-2)液を0.4ml接種し、温度25℃で培養した。24時間培養した後に測定した各試験片の抗ウイルス活性値から、以下の基準により抗ウイルス性(抗インフルエンザウイルス性および抗新型コロナウイルス性)を評価した。なお、抗インフルエンザウイルス性および抗新型コロナウイルス性についての抗ウイルス活性値は、ISO 21702に記載された評価方法に準拠して評価した。
 -抗インフルエンザウイルス性の評価基準-
 A:抗ウイルス活性値が2.0以上である
 B:抗ウイルス活性値が2.0未満である
 -抗新型コロナウイルス性の評価基準-
 A:抗ウイルス活性値が2.0以上である
 B:抗ウイルス活性値が2.0未満である
 (抗大腸菌性の評価)
 準備した試験片の抗菌層の表面に、菌数が2.5×10~10×10個/mlとなるように調製した大腸菌(Escherichia coli)液を0.4ml接種し、温度35℃、相対湿度90%の培養器中で培養した。24時間培養した後に測定した各試験片の抗菌活性値から、以下の基準により抗菌性を評価した。なお、抗大腸菌性についての抗菌活性値は、JIS Z 2801に記載された評価方法に準拠して評価した。
 -抗大腸菌性の評価基準
 A:抗菌活性値が2.0以上である
 B:抗菌活性値が2.0未満である
<光学特性の評価>
 製造直後の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値(h1)および、温度60℃、相対湿度90%の条件で720時間湿熱処理した後の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値(h2)を測定した。
 抗ウイルスフィルムのヘイズは、以下の方法で測定した。
 積分球ユニットを備える分光光度計(日本分光社製「VAP-7070」)を用いて、抗ウイルスフィルムを透過する光の透過率を測定した。このとき、抗ウイルスフィルム及び積分球ユニットを接近した位置に配置して抗ウイルスフィルムの全方位透過率(τs)を測定し、抗ウイルスフィルム及び積分球ユニットを離間した位置に配置して抗ウイルスフィルムの直進透過率(τl)を測定した。
 各透過率の測定は、400~700nmの測定波長範囲で5nmごとに行った。また、各透過率を測定する前に、抗ウイルスフィルムを設置せずに透過率を測定することにより、分光光度計のキャリブレーションを行った。
 各波長の全方位透過率τs及び直進透過率τlから、(τs-τl)×100/τsの式を用いて、各波長のヘイズ(%)を算出した。得られた各波長のヘイズから、波長400~700nmのヘイズの平均値を算出した。
 また、下記式より、Δh(湿熱処理前後の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値の変動度)を算出した。
 Δh=|h1-h2|
<虹ムラ>
 製造直後の抗ウイルスフィルムの虹ムラ(初期)、温度60℃、相対湿度90%の条件で720時間湿熱処理した後の抗ウイルスフィルムの虹ムラ(経時)を以下の方法で測定した。
 特開2011-059488号公報の段落0225に従い、偏光子を調製した。
 下記セルロースアシレートフィルムを、特許4438270号の段落0275に準じてアルカリ水溶液に浸漬し鹸化処理した。次いで、特許4731143号の段落0199~0202と同様にしてセルロースアシレートフィルムを調製した。
 各抗ウイルスフィルムと鹸化処理したセルロースアシレートの間に、上記偏光子を挟み、偏光子/ポリエステル間、セルロースアシレート/偏光子間に上に、ポリビニルアルコール水溶液(完全鹸化型ポリビニルアルコール5%水溶液)を塗布し、これらをニップロールで圧着し貼り合せた後、70℃で10分乾燥し偏光板を得た。
 得られた偏光板2対を、液晶セルに対してポリエステルフィルムを外側とし、偏光子の吸収軸を直交配置として、連続光源(白色LED)または不連続光源(冷陰極管)をバックライトとして有する液晶表示装置に組み込み、光の透過度を50%となるように調整した。
 液晶表示装置に対し、一方から連続光源(白色LED)、不連続光源(冷陰極管)を用いて光を入射し、反対側から偏光サングラスを通して目視で発生した虹ムラを以下の基準で評価した。
 A:目視レベルでは、虹ムラは視認されない
 B:目視レベルで、虹ムラが視認される
 C:目視レベルで視認される虹ムラが極めて多い
 上記表に示すように、実施例の抗ウイルスフィルムは、長期にわたって虹ムラの発生を抑制することができた。

Claims (5)

  1.  基材と、前記基材上に配置された抗菌または抗ウイルス層と、を有する抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムであって、
     前記基材は、式(1)の条件を満たすポリエステル樹脂フィルムであり、
     前記抗菌または抗ウイルス層は、バインダーと、光散乱粒子と、抗菌または抗ウイルス剤粒子とを含み、
     前記抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルムは、式(11)の条件を満たす、抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム;
     0.153≦(nx+ny)/2-nz<0.165   ・・・(1)
     式(1)中、nxはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の遅相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nyはポリエステル樹脂フィルム面内の進相軸方向の屈折率を表し、nzはポリエステル樹脂フィルム厚み方向の屈折率を表す;

     式(11)中、h2は温度60℃、相対湿度90%の条件で720時間湿熱処理した後の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値であり、h1は前記湿熱処理前の抗ウイルスフィルムの波長400~700nmの範囲におけるヘイズの平均値である。
  2.  前記ポリエステル樹脂フィルムの厚みが20~60μmである、請求項1に記載の抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム。
  3.  前記ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのカルボキシ基量が、35eq/ton以下である、請求項1または2に記載の抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム。
  4.  前記ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのチタン元素の含有量は5~15質量ppmである、請求項1または2に記載の抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム。
  5.  前記ポリエステル樹脂フィルムのプレピーク温度が140~180℃である、請求項1または2に記載の抗菌または抗ウイルスフィルム。
