Definitions
- the invention relates to a drill or chisel hammer with a device housing for the vibration-decoupled accommodation of an axial impact unit, comprising an impact mechanism provided with a drive motor for generating a linearly alternating working movement, which can be transferred to a chisel tool via an end-side tool receiving unit, the axial impact unit having at least one in the area
- the front sliding guide arranged in the impact mechanism and at least one rear sliding guide arranged in the area of the drive motor are guided along the axial working movement direction and are decoupled from vibrations by a decoupling spring which is also arranged between the device housing and the axial impact unit and also acts in the direction of movement.
- the field of application of the invention extends primarily to a hand-held chisel hammer, which is preferably operated via an electric drive.
- a chisel hammer of the type of interest here has a center of gravity which is located in the area of the impact mechanism axis.
- the drive motor, gearbox, impact mechanism and tool holder unit components are arranged coaxially to the impact mechanism axis.
- a hammer drill in which a linearly alternating working movement is superimposed with a rotary movement for a hammer drill as a tool.
- the vibration decoupling usually includes a front sliding guide, which surrounds the striking mechanism and is arranged axially adjacent to the external tool receiving unit.
- a sliding sleeve arrangement can be used for this.
- This front sliding guide cooperates with a rear sliding guide, which is usually arranged at the level of the drive motor and establishes a connection between the axial impact unit and the surrounding device housing.
- the sliding guide arrangement consisting of the front and rear sliding guides enables a relative movement of the axial impact unit with respect to the device housing over a stroke path along the axial working movement direction.
- the sliding guide arrangement is completed by at least one decoupling spring, which also acts in the direction of working movement and is arranged between the device housing and the striking mechanism, which is usually designed in the manner of a leaf spring.
- the spring travel that can be achieved in this way is quite limited due to the design and installation space.
- very high-quality spring steel is required.
- the leaf spring usually only partially acts as a spring in the direction of the impact axis. Their main task is to hang the axial impact unit in the device housing. An additional compression spring is therefore usually required to achieve the required rigidity in the impact axis direction.
- the rear sliding guide comprises at least one U-shaped profiled housing-side guide rail, in which at least one corresponding guide block on the impact unit side is guided.
- exactly one front sliding guide and two rear sliding guides are provided, which are arranged opposite one another on the side of the axial impact unit - preferably at drive height - in order to ensure a reliably permanent sliding guide in the direction of working movement via a minimum number of guide points.
- the advantage of the solution according to the invention is, in particular, that thanks to the simply designed guide elements, a correspondingly simple production and assembly of the device housing or the impact mechanism is possible.
- the guiding principle provides the design prerequisite for decoupling springs with long spring travel, preferably compression, conical or barrel springs, to be used. This makes it possible to achieve vibration decoupling with values of less than 5m/s 2 , as tests have shown.
- Such a decoupling spring-slide guide combination allows a relatively long stroke path, which means that comfortable vibration decoupling can be achieved. This makes it possible to design an optimal stroke path.
- the guide block is provided with elastomer elements on both sides in the direction of movement, which interact with corresponding stop sections of the device housing. This creates a gentle end stop on both sides in the event that the maximum compression and rebound stroke is reached. Regarding the compression stroke This buffered end stop prevents the spring coils of the decoupling spring from coming together, which would lead to a hard shock impulse and, in extreme cases, could damage the decoupling spring or the adjacent components. In the normal state, in which the decoupling spring is extended, the front elastomer element comes into contact with the associated stop section of the device housing under pretension, in particular to allow a stuck chisel tool to be easily pulled out.
- a pin section is provided on its foot area, with which the guide block can be inserted with a precise fit into a corresponding basic bore of the axial impact unit.
- the inserted guide block can then be releasably attached to the axial impact unit using a screw via a through hole that preferably runs coaxially to the pin section.
- the through hole for realizing the screw connection is arranged on the T-shaped guide block in such a way that it does not hinder the elastomer elements which are preferably inserted into it on both sides.
- a single central screw connection is sufficient to reliably attach the guide block.
- this central screw connection ensures a certain degree of pivotability of the guide block about its longitudinal axis, so that the guide block can automatically align itself with respect to the guide path specified by the guide rail. This prevents frictional wear on the guide block flanks, which would otherwise result from it grinding into the guide rail. As a result, this would lead to an unintentional larger leadership play, which is easily prevented thanks to the central screw connection.
- the housing-side guide rail is preferably clipped or pressed into a corresponding device structure without any fasteners.
- the guide rail preferably has a flat insertion tab formed on the bottom section at the end on at least one rail end, which inserts into a corresponding holding structure on the inside of the device housing comes to the intervention. This simply prevents the guide rail, which is mounted by clipping or pressing in, from being captive.
- the U-shaped profiled guide rail is manufactured as a metal stamped and bent part. This preferably consists of a stainless steel material in order to enable optimal sliding of the guide block as a friction partner.
- the guide block can be designed as an injection molded part, which consists, for example, of a PAG plastic.
- FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a chisel hammer with a front and rear sliding guide for the vibration-decoupled accommodation of an axial impact unit
- Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a housing-side guide rail of the rear sliding guide
- Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a guide block on the impact unit side of the rear sliding guide.
- a chisel hammer has a plastic device housing 1 with a rear-molded handle 2 for manual handling of the device.
- the device housing 1 houses an axial impact unit, comprising an electric drive motor 3 and a - known per se - impact mechanism 4, which generates the rotational movement of the drive motor 3 into a linearly alternating working movement for a chisel tool - not shown here.
- a tool receiving unit 5 arranged at the end of the striking mechanism 4 is provided.
- the Axial impact unit with drive motor 3, impact mechanism 4 and tool holder unit 5 are arranged along the same impact mechanism axis.
- the internal axial impact unit is guided via a front sliding guide 6 arranged in the area of the impact mechanism 4, which consists of an outer guide ring 7 on the housing side and an inner guide ring 8 on the impact unit side surrounded by it.
- Two rear sliding guides 9a and 9b arranged at the level of the drive motor 3 work together and are arranged opposite one another laterally on the axial impact unit.
- a decoupling spring 10 designed as a compression spring is arranged between the device housing 1 in the area of the handle and the proximal end of the axial impact unit - here specifically its drive motor 3.
- the decoupling spring 10 ensures vibration decoupling acting in the direction of working movement, the stroke path of which is made possible in the axial direction of working movement by the sliding guide means described above.
- the two rear sliding guides 9a and 9b are constructed identically and each consist of a housing-side guide rail 11, in which a corresponding guide block 12 on the impact unit side is guided along the direction of working movement.
- the guide block 12 is inserted into a recess in the drive motor 3 of the axial impact unit and fastened via a screw 13.
- the guide rail 11 is clipped into a corresponding housing structure of the device housing 1.
- the U-shaped profiled housing-side guide rail 11 has a flat insertion tab 15 formed at the end on the bottom section 14 for clipping into the corresponding housing structure of the device housing - not shown here.
- the U-shaped profiled guide rail 11 is made as a stamped and bent part from a stainless steel sheet.
- the guide block shown in Fig. 3 corresponds to this as a friction partner
- the guide block 12 is provided in the leg area on both sides with end-side elastomer elements 17a and 17b, which interact with the aforementioned stop sections on the device housing as an end stop. Due to the representation, the second elastomer element 17b is shown hidden.
- the guide block 12 has a through hole 18 which runs coaxially with the pin section 16 in order to realize the screw connection described above.
- the through hole 18 is a countersunk hole in order to conceal the screw connection using a hexagon socket screw or the like.
- the guide block 12 also consists of an injection-molded plastic material.
- the invention is not limited to the preferred embodiment described above. Rather, modifications of this are also conceivable, which are included within the scope of protection of the following claims.
- the design of the decoupling spring is not limited solely to a steel compression spring.
- elastomer springs, air springs or the like can also be used for this.
