본 발명에서 용어 "C6-20 아릴"은, 6 내지 20개의 탄소 원자를 함유하는 방향족 탄화수소를 지칭한다. 예를 들어, 모노시클릭 (예컨대, 페닐); 바이시클릭 (예컨대, 인데닐, 나프탈레닐, 테트라하이드로나프틸, 테트라하이드로인데닐) 같은 고리계를 가리킬 수 있다. 바람직하게는 아릴은 C6H5의 화학식을 가지며 6개의 탄소 원자가 순환 고리 구조를 이루며 배열되어 있는 페닐기일 수 있다.

본 발명의 자기 윤활성 폴리이미드 바니쉬
본 발명은 마찰계수를 낮춘, 도체 피복 용도로 사용할 수 있는 자기 윤활성 폴리이미드 바니쉬에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 일 측면에 있어서, 1종 이상의 이무수물 단량체 및 1종 이상의 디아민 단량체를 중합 단위로 포함하는 폴리아믹산;
유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카;
하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 실리콘계 첨가제; 및
유기 용매;를 포함하는 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 제공한다:

구체적으로, 디아민 단량체는 1,4-디아미노벤젠(PPD), 4,4'-디아미노디페닐에테르(ODA) 및 2,2-비스아미노페녹시페닐프로판(BAPP)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 4,4'-디아미노디페닐에테르(ODA)를 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서, 전체 이무수물 단량체 중 피로멜리틱 디안하이드라이드(PMDA)가 50 몰% 이상의 비율로 포함될 수 있으며, 구체적으로 60 몰% 이상, 70 몰% 이상, 75 몰% 이상, 80 몰% 이상, 85 몰% 이상, 90 몰% 이상, 95 몰% 이상, 99 몰% 이상 또는 100 몰%이상의 비율로 포함될 수 있다.
또한, 전체 디아민 단량체 중 4,4'-디아미노디페닐에테르(ODA)가 50 몰% 이상의 비율로 포함될 수 있으며, 구체적으로 60 몰% 이상, 70 몰% 이상, 75 몰% 이상, 80 몰% 이상, 85 몰% 이상, 90 몰% 이상, 95 몰% 이상, 99 몰% 이상 또는 100 몰%이상의 비율로 포함될 수 있다.
본 발명의 폴리아믹산은 디아민 단량체 100 몰% 기준으로, 상기 이무수물 단량체가 95 내지 105 몰%일 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 하한은 95.5 몰% 이상, 96 몰% 이상, 96.5 몰% 이상, 97 몰% 이상, 97.5 몰% 이상, 98 몰% 이상, 98.5 몰% 이상, 99 몰% 이상 또는 99.5 몰% 이상일 수 있으며, 상한은 105 몰% 이하, 104.5 몰% 이하 또는 104 몰% 이하일 수 있다.
또한, 이무수물 단량체(몰%)/디아민 단량체(몰%)의 몰비가 95 내지 105, 구체적으로 97.5 내지 102.5일 수 있으며, 더 구체적으로는 99 내지 101, 보다 더 구체적으로는 99.4 내지 99.9일 수 있다. 일 실시예에서 이무수물 단량체(몰%)/디아민 단량체(몰%)의 몰비가 99.6, 99.7, 103.8이다.
또한, 본 발명의 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 방향족 카르복실산을 추가로 포함할 수 있다. 상기 방향족 카르복실산은 최적 몰비를 형성하기 위해 추가로 첨가될 수 있는 것이다.
상기 방향족 카르복실산은 피로멜리트산(pyromellitic acid, PMA), 3,3',4,4'-비페닐테트라카르복실산 (3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid, BPTA), 1,2,3,4-벤젠테트라카르복실산(1,2,3,4-benzenetetracarboxylic acid), 벤조페논-3,3',4,4'-테트라카복실산(benzophenone-3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxylic acid), 피라진테트라카복실산(pyrazinetetracarboxylic acid), 2,3,6,7-나프탈렌테트라카르복실산(2,3,6,7-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid) 및 나프탈렌-1,4,5,8-테트라카르복실산(naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic acid)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있으며, 일 실시예에서 피로멜리트산(pyromellitic acid, PMA)을 사용하였다.
또한, 상기 추가로 포함될 수 있는 방향족 카르복실산의 함량은 0 내지 1.0 몰%, 구체적으로, 0 내지 0.8 몰%, 더 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 0.6 몰% 포함될 수 있다. 여기서 0 몰%는 방향족 카르복실산이 폴리이미드 바니쉬에 포함되지 않음을 의미할 수 있다.
유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카
본 발명의 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 마찰계수 등의 물성을 개선하기 위해 무기입자를 포함할 수 있으며, 상기 무기입자는 평균 입자 직경이 1000 nm 이하의 나노 사이즈의 이산화규소(SiO2) 미립자인 나노 실리카이며, 본 발명에서 나노 실리카는 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카로서, 그 형태 및 형상은 특별히 제한되지 않는다.
본 발명에서 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카의 상기 유기실란은 메틸트리메톡시실란, 헥사메틸디실록산, n-옥틸트리메톡시실란, n-옥틸트리에톡시실란, 아이소옥틸트리메톡시실란, 도데실트리메톡시실란, 옥타데실트리메톡시실란, 프로필트리메톡시실란, 헥실트리메톡시실란, 3-메타크릴옥시프로필트리메톡시실란, 3-아크릴옥시프로필트리메톡시실란, 3-(메타크릴옥시)프로필트리에톡시실란, 3-(메타크릴옥시)프로필메틸다이메톡시실란, 3-(아크릴옥시프로필)메틸다이메톡시실란, 3-(메타크릴옥시)프로필다이메틸에톡시실란, 스티릴에틸트리메톡시실란, 페닐트리에톡시실란, p-톨릴트리에톡시실란, 비닐메틸다이아세톡시실란, 비닐다이메틸에톡시실란, 비닐메틸다이에톡시실란, 비닐트리메톡시실란, 비닐트리에톡시실란, 비닐트리아세톡시실란, 비닐트리아이소프로폭시실란, 비닐트리메톡시실란, 비닐트리페녹시실란, 비닐트리-t-부톡시실란, 비닐트리스(아이소부톡시)실란, 비닐트리아이소프로페녹시실란, 비닐트리스(2-메톡시에톡시)실란, 글리시독시프로필트리메톡시실란(glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane: GPTMS), 아미노프로필트리메톡시실란((3-Aminopropyl)trimethoxy-silane: APTMS), 페닐트리메톡시실란(Phenyltrimethoxysilane: PTMS) 및 페닐아미노프로필트리메톡시실란(N-Phenyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane: PAPTES)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 메틸트리메톡시실란, 헥사메틸디실록산, 페닐트리메톡시실란, 헥실트리메톡시실란, 아미노프로필트리메톡시실란 및 페닐아미노프로필트리메톡시실란 중에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다. 일 실시예에서, 유기실란으로 메틸트리메톡시실란 또는 헥사메틸디실록산을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카는 나노 실리카의 표면에 말단에 적어도 하나의 페닐기를 포함하는 화합물 및 말단에 적어도 하나의 아민기, 히드록시기, 싸이올기 도는 에폭사이드기를 포함하는 화합물이 결합된 것일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 말단에 적어도 하나의 페닐기를 포함하는 화합물은 페닐트리메톡시실란(Phenyltrimethoxysilane: PTMS) 또는 페닐아미노프로필트리메톡시실란(N-Phenyl-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane: PAPTES)일 수 있다. 또한, 말단에 적어도 하나의 아민기, 히드록시기, 싸이올기 도는 에폭사이드기를 포함하는 화합물은 글리시독시프로필트리메톡시실란(glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane: GPTMS) 또는 아미노프로필트리메톡시실란((3-Aminopropyl)trimethoxy-silane: APTMS)일 수 있다.
상기 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카는 유기실란으로 나노 실리카를 표면 처리함으로써 제조할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 유기실란을 산성 또는 염기성 조건 하에서 승온하여 약 1 내지 24시간 동안 표면 처리함으로써 표면개질된 나노 실리카를 수득할 수 있다. 또한, 표면개질은 다른 공지된 방법으로 달성될 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 용매에 유기실란을 혼합 후 10 내지 100℃ 또는 20 내지 60℃의 온도에서 1 내지 10시간 또는 1 내지 5시간 반응시킴으로써 표면개질된 나노 실리카를 얻을 수 있다. 나노 실리카의 표면에 둘 이상의 화합물을 결합시키기 위해서는, 상기 방법을 각각 수행할 수 있다.
본 발명의 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카에 의해 폴리이미드 바니쉬 내에서 무기입자의 응집이 방지되며, 화합물의 작용기에 의해 고형분(폴리아믹산)과의 상호작용을 높여 유무기 하이브리드화를 향상시킬 수 있다.
또한, 상기 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카는 평균 입자 크기는 10 내지 200 nm, 예를 들어, 평균 입자 크기는 10 내지 190 nm, 20 내지 180 nm, 30 내지 170 nm, 40 내지 160 nm, 또는 50 내지 150 nm일 수 있다.
또한, 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카의 함유량은 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여, 0.3 내지 7.0 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들어 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카의 함유량은 예를 들어 하한은 0.35 중량부 이상, 0.40 중량부 이상, 0.45 중량부 이상, 0.50 중량부 이상, 0.55 중량부 이상 또는 0.35 중량부 이상일 수 있다. 또한 예를 들어 상한은 6 중량부 이하, 5 중량부 이하, 3 중량부 이하, 2 중량부 이하, 1.5 중량부 이하, 1.25 중량부 이하, 1.20 중량부 이하, 1.15 중량부 이하, 1.10 중량부 이하, 1.05 중량부 이하, 1.0 중량부 이하, 0.95 중량부 이하, 0.9 중량부 이하, 0.85 중량부 이하, 0.8 중량부 이하, 0.79 중량부 이하, 0.78 중량부 이하, 0.77 중량부 이하 또는 0.76 중량부 이하일 수 있다. 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카의 함량이 0.3 중량부 미만인 경우 특성 향상에 효과적이지 않으며, 7 중량부를 초과하는 경우 응집 및 사용성 저하로 헤이즈(Haze) 및 물성 저하가 나타날 수 있다.
실리콘계 첨가제
본 발명의 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 실리콘계 첨가제를 포함시킴으로써 마찰계수를 저감시킨다. 본 발명의 상기 실리콘계 첨가제는 변성 실리콘 오일로서, 직사슬형의 실록산 골격을 갖고 분자 구조 중에 수고 또는 탄화수소기 이외의 관능기를 갖는 것을 말한다.
구체적으로, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 실리콘계 첨가제는 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 실리콘계 첨가제일 수 있다.

바람직하게는 상기 화학식 4에서, X1 및 X3는 각각 독립적으로 아미노기일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 실리콘계 첨가제는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.50(25℃ 기준)이고, 관능기 당량이 100 내지 10,000 g/mol이고, 점도가 10 내지 20,000 cP(25℃ 기준)이고, 상기 관능기는 히드록시기, 아미노기, 에폭시기, 아크릴기, 산무수물기, 카르복실기, 메타크릴기, 머캡토기, 알콕시기, 실란올기 또는 폴리에테르기인 것일 수 있다.
본 발명에서, 관능기 당량은 관능기 1개당 결합하고 있는 주 골격의 질량을 의미하는 것으로, 실리콘계 첨가제의 중량평균분자량을 1분자당 관능기의 수로 나눈 값이다. 즉, 본 발명의 관능기 단량은 아래 식으로 나타낸 값을 의미한다:

바람직하게는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.45(25℃ 기준)이고, 관능기 당량이 200 내지 9,000 g/mol이고, 점도가 10 내지 1,000 cP(25℃ 기준)이고, 상기 관능기는 히드록시기, 아미노기, 에폭시기, 아크릴기, 산무수물기, 카르복실기, 메타크릴기, 머캡토기, 알콕시기, 실란올기 또는 폴리에테르기인 것일 수 있다.
보다 바람직하게는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.42(25℃ 기준)이고, 관능기 당량이 300 내지 8,000 g/mol이고, 점도가 10 내지 800 cP(25℃ 기준)이고, 상기 관능기는 히드록시기, 아미노기, 에폭시기, 아크릴기, 산무수물기, 카르복실기, 메타크릴기, 머캡토기, 알콕시기, 실란올기 또는 폴리에테르기인 것일 수 있다.
보다 더 바람직하게는 굴절율이 1.40 내지 1.42(25℃ 기준)이고, 관능기 당량이 400 내지 6,000 g/mol이고, 점도가 10 내지 500 cP(25℃ 기준)이고, 상기 관능기는 아미노기일 수 있다.
일 실시예에서, 측쇄 아미노 변성 실리콘으로서, 굴절율이 1.405(25℃ 기준)이고, 아미노기 당량이 5,000 g/mol이고, 점도가 110 cP(25℃ 기준)인 실리콘계 첨가제를 사용할 수 있다.
일 실시예에서, 측쇄 아미노 변성 실리콘로서, 굴절율이 1.408(25℃ 기준)이고, 아미노기 당량이 1,600 g/mol이고, 점도가 1,000 cP(25℃ 기준)인 실리콘계 첨가제를 사용할 수 있다.
일 실시예에서, 양말단 아미노 변성 실리콘로서, 굴절율이 1.418(25℃ 기준)이고, 아미노기 당량이 400 g/mol이고, 점도가 12 cP(25℃ 기준)인 실리콘계 첨가제를 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명에서, 상기 실리콘계 첨가제는 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여, 0.05 내지 5 중량부로 포함될 수 있다. 구체적으로 예를 들어 하한은 0.2 중량부 이상, 0.06 중량부 이상, 0.07 중량부 이상, 0.08 중량부 이상, 0.09 중량부 이상, 0.1 중량부 이상, 0.2 중량부 이상, 0.3 중량부 이상, 0.4 중량부 이상 또는 0.5 중량부 이상일 수 있으며, 상한은 4 중량부 이하, 3 중량부 이하, 2 중량부 이하, 1.8 중량부 이하, 1.6 중량부 이하, 1.4 중량부 이하, 1.2 중량부 이하, 1.0 중량부 이하, 0.8 중량부 이하 또는 0.6 중량부 이하일 수 있다.
상기 실리콘계 첨가물의 함량이 5 중량부를 초과하는 경우 제조되는 폴리이미드 피복물의 기계적 물성이 저하될 수 있고, 이미드화를 위한 열처리 시 상기 실리콘계 첨가물이 고온에서 분해되어 폴리이미드 피복물과 도체 간의 접착력을 오히려 저하시키거나 헤이즈가 증가할 수 있으므로 바람직하지 않다. 한편, 상기 실리콘계 첨가물의 함량이 0.05 중량부 미만 경우에는 마찰계수 개선 효과를 나타내지 않으므로 바람직하지 않다.
유기 용매
본 발명에서, 상기 유기 용매는 N-메틸-피롤리돈(NMP), N,N'-디메틸포름아미드(DMF), N,N'-디에틸포름아미드(DEF), N,N'-디메틸아세트아미드(DMAc), 디메틸프로판아미드(DMPA), N,N-디에틸아시트아마이드(DEAc), 디메틸설폭사이드(DMSO), 3-메톡시-N,N-디메틸프로판아마이드(KJCMPA), p-클로로페놀, o-클로로페놀, 감마 브티로 락톤(GBL), 디그림(Diglyme) 및 나프탈렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함할 수 있다. 바람직하게는 N-메틸-피롤리돈(NMP), N,N'-디메틸포름아미드(DMF), N,N'-디메틸아세트아미드(DMAc), 디메틸설폭사이드(DMSO) 등을 사용할 수 있다.
상기 유기 용매는 히드록시기(OH) 또는 아민기(NH)를 포함하는 개질제를 더 포함할 수 있으며, 상기 히드록시기(OH) 또는 아민기(NH)를 포함하는 개질제의 예로서 에틸아민, 트리에탄올아민, 디메틸아민, 트리메틸아민, 디에틸렌트리아민, 에틸렌디아민, 트리부틸아민, 피리딘, 피롤리딘, 메탄올, 에탄올, 프로판올, 이소프로판올, sec-부탄올, tert-부탄올, n-아밀알코올, 이소아밀알코올, 헥산올, 옥탄올, 카프릴알코올, 노닐알코올, 데실알코올, 운데실알코올, 라루릴알코올, 미리스틸알코올, 세틸알코올, 스테아릴알코올, 알릴알코올, 크로틸알코올, 프로파르길알코올, 에틸렌글리콜, 프로필렌글리콜, 벤질알코올, 페놀 등을 들 수 있다. 상기 개질제는 이무수물 단량체와 반응하여 반응성을 제어할 수 있다.
상기 유기 용매는 이무수물 단량체 및 디아민 단량체가 중합하여 폴리아믹산을 합성에 사용할 수 있으며, 상기 유기 용매는 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여 50 내지 80 중량부 포함될 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 60 내지 75 중량부 포함될 수 있다.
또한, 폴리이미드 고형분이 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여 10 내지 30 중량부로 포함될 수 있으며, 구체적으로 예를 들어 하한은, 12 중량부, 15 중량부, 20 중량부, 21 중량부, 22 중량부, 23 중량부, 24 중량부 또는 25 중량부 이상일 수 있으며, 상한은 30 중량부, 29 중량부, 28 중량부 또는 27 중량부 이하일 수 있다. 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬의 고형분 함량을 조점함으로써, 점도 상승을 제어하고 경화 과정에서 공정 시간을 단축할 수 있다.
폴리이미드 바니쉬 및 이의 경화물
상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 30°C 온도 및 1s-1의 전단속도 조건으로 측정한 점도가 500 내지 20,000 cP의 범위 내일 수 있다. 예를 들어 상한은 20,000 cP, 15,000 cP, 또는 10,000 cP 이하일 수 있다. 그 하한은 특별히 한정되지 않으나, 1,000 cP, 1,500 cP, 2,000 cP 또는 2,500 cP 이상일 수 있다. 상기 점도는 일 실시예에서, Haake 사의 Rheostress 600을 사용하여 측정한 것일 수 있고 1/s의 전단 속도, 30℃ 온도 및 1 mm 플레이트 갭 조건에서 측정한 것일 수 있다. 본 발명은 상기 점도 범위를 조절함으로써, 우수한 공정성을 갖는 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 경화 후 열팽창계수(CTE)가 60 ppm/°C 이하의 범위를 가질 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 CTE의 상한은 55 ppm/°C 이하, 50 ppm/°C, 45 ppm/°C 이하, 40 ppm/°C 이하, 38 ppm/°C 이하, 36 ppm/°C 이하, 35 ppm/°C 이하 또는 30 ppm/°C 이하일 수 있고, 하한은 예를 들어, 0.1 ppm/°C, 1 ppm/°C, 2.0 ppm/°C, 2.6 ppm/°C, 2.8 ppm/°C, 3.5 ppm/°C 또는 4 ppm/°C 이상일 수 있다. 하나의 예에서, 상기 열팽창계수는 100 내지 350°C에서 측정한 것일 수 있다. 일 실시예에서, 상기 CTE는 TA사 열기계 분석기(thermomechanical analyzer) Q400 모델을 사용할 수 있으며, 폴리이미드를 필름화 제조하여 폭 2 mm, 길이 10 mm로 자른 후 질소 분위기하에서 0.02 N의 장력을 가하면서, 10°C/min의 속도로 상온에서 350°C까지 승온하여 100°C에서 250°C 구간의 기울기를 측정할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 일 예시에서, 경화 후의 유리전이온도(Tg)가 250°C 내지 450°C의 범위를 가질 수 있으며 예를 들어, 상기 유리전이온도의 하한은 250°C 이상, 255°C 이상, 260°C 이상, 270°C 이상 또는 300°C 이상일 수 있다. 상한은 445°C 이하, 440°C 이하, 435°C 이하, 430°C 이하, 425°C 이하, 420°C 이하, 415°C 이하, 410°C 이하 또는 400°C 이하일 수 있다. 일 실시예에서, 상기 유리전이온도는 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 경화하여 제조된 폴리이미드에 대해 TMA를 이용하여 10 ℃/min 조건에서 측정할 수 있다.
본 출원에 따른 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 경화 후 5중량% 열분해온도(Td)가 450℃ 이상일 수 있다. 상기 열분해온도는 TA사 열중량 분석(thermogravimetric analysis) Q50 모델을 사용하여 측정할 수 있다. 구체예에서, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 경화한 폴리이미드를 질소 분위기하에서 10 ℃/분의 속도로 150℃까지 승온시킨 후 30 분간 등온을 유지하여 수분을 제거한다. 이후 10°C/분의 속도로 600℃까지 승온하여 1%의 중량 감소가 발생하는 온도를 측정할 수 있다. 상기 열분해온도의 하한은 예를 들어, 450℃ 이상, 460℃ 이상, 470℃ 이상 또는 480℃ 이상일 수 있다. 상한은 예를 들어, 800℃ 이하 또는 600℃ 이하일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 경화한 폴리이미드는 신율(Elongation)이 60% 이상일 수 있고, 예를 들어, 60%, 62%, 64% 및 66% 이상일 수 있다. 상한은 특별히 제한되지 않으나, 80% 이하일 수 있다. 일 실시예에서, 상기 신율은 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 폴리이미드 필름으로 경화하여, 폭 10 mm, 길이 40 mm로 자른 후 인스트론(Instron)사의 Instron5564 UTM 장비를 사용하여 ASTM D-882 방법으로 신율을 측정할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 경화한 폴리이미드는 유전상수(dielectric constant; Dk)가 4 이하이며, 구체적으로 3.8 이하, 3.6 이하, 또는 3.5 이하일 수 있으며, 하한은 특별히 한정되는 것은 아니나 2.0 이상일 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일 측면에서, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬가 이미드화되어 제조된 폴리이미드를 제공하며, 상기 폴리이미드는 필름 형태일 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일 측면에서, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬의 경화물을 포함하는 폴리이미드 피복물을 제공한다.
상기 폴리이미드 피복물은 마찰계수 (PI-SUS)가 0.4 이하일 수 있다. 상기 마찰계수는 구체적으로 0.39 이하, 0.38 이하, 0.36 이하, 0.34 이하, 0.32 이하, 0.30 이하, 0.29 이하, 0.28 이하일 수 있다. 마찰계수가 0.4 초과할 경우에 전기 자동차(ev)의 권선 절연피복으로 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 코팅한 후 헤어핀 형태로 가공하고 모터 코너 내에 삽입시 권선의 형상 변형이 일어나 공정성이 저하되는 문제가 있다.
일 실시예에서, 상기 피복물의 제조 방법은 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 도체 표면에 코팅하는 단계; 및 상기 도체 표면에 코팅된 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 이미드화하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 도체는 구리 또는 구리 합금으로 이루어진 동선일 수 있으나, 은선 등의 다른 금속 재료로 이루어진 도체나, 알루미늄, 주석 도금 도선 등의 각종 금속 도금선도 도체로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 도체와 피복물의 두께는 KS C 3107 표준에 따를 수 있다. 상기 도체의 직경은 0.3 내지 3.2mm 범위 내일 수 있으며, 피복물의 표준 피막두께(최대 피막 두께와 최소 피막두께의 평균값)는 0종이 21 내지 194㎛, 1종이 14 내지 169㎛, 2종이 10 내지 31㎛일 수 있다. 도체의 단면 형상으로는, 환선, 평각선, 육각선 등일 수 있으나, 이것만으로 제한되는 것은 아니다.
본 발명에 따른 폴리이미드 피복물은 IEC-60851-5에 의거한 일정 전압에 따른 절연재료가 견디는 시간인 전압 내구 특성이 170 분 이상일 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 180분 이상, 200분 이상, 220분 이상 또는 230분 이상일 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일 측면에 있어서, 상기 폴리이미드 피복물을 포함하는 전선을 제공한다.
구체적으로 상기 폴리아믹산 용액을 전선 표면에 코팅하고 이미드화하여 제조된 폴리이미드 피복물을 포함하는 피복 전선일 수 있다. 일 구체예에서, 상기 피복 전선은 전선; 및 전술한 폴리이미드가 상기 전선의 표면에 코팅되어 이미드화된 피복물을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 본 출원은 상기 피복 전선을 포함하는 전자 장치를 제공할 수 있다. 상기 전자 장치는 예를 들어, 전기 모터가 예시될 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일 측면에 있어서, 폴리이미드 바니쉬로부터 형성된 성형체를 포함하는 부품을 제공한다.
구체적으로 상기 부품은 전자 회로 기판 부재, 반도체 디바이스, 리튬 이온 전지 부재, 태양 전지 부재, 연료 전지 부재, 모터 권선, 엔진 주변 부재, 도료, 광학 부품, 방열재, 전자파 실드재, 서지 부품, 치과재, 슬라이드 코팅, 및 정전 척일 수 있다.
폴리이미드 바니쉬의 제조방법
본 발명에 따른 폴리이미드 바니쉬의 제조방법은 이무수물 단량체, 디아민 단량체, 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카, 실리콘계 첨가제 및 유기용매를 혼합 및 가열하는 단계를 포함한다.
구체적으로, (a) 유기 용매에 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카 및 이무수물 단량체를 혼합하여 가열하는 단계;
(b) 디아민 단량체를 첨가하여 반응시키는 단계; 및
(c) 실리콘계 첨가물을 첨가하여 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 제조하는 단계;를 포함하며, (b) 단계 이후 및 (c) 단계 전에 방향족 카르복실산을 첨가하는 단계를 추가로 수행할 수 있다.
유기 용매, 이무수물 단량체, 디아민 단량체, 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카, 실리콘계 첨가제 등은 전술한 폴리이미드 바니쉬의 내용과 동일하게 적용된다.
본 발명의 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 마찰계수를 낮추어 자기 윤활성을 가져 공정 효율이 우수하면서, 폴리이미드의 내열성, 절연성 및 기계적 물성을 동시에 만족하는 동시에 도체와의 접착력이 우수하여 전선 피복용으로 활용도가 우수한 효과가 있다.
본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위하여 실시예를 제시한다. 하기의 실시예는 본 발명을 보다 쉽게 이해하기 위하여 제공되는 것일 뿐, 실시예에 의해 본 발명의 내용이 한정되는 것은 아니다.
<실시예>
제조예 1. 실리콘계 첨가제 1
측쇄 아미노 변성 실리콘 오일(굴절율 1.405(25℃ 기준), 아미노기 당량 5,000 g/mol, 점도 110 cP(25℃ 기준), 비중 0.97 g/mL(25℃ 기준)).
제조예 2. 실리콘계 첨가제 2
측쇄 아미노 변성 실리콘 오일(굴절율 1.408(25℃ 기준), 아미노기 당량 1,600 g/mol, 점도 1,000 cP(25℃ 기준), 비중 0.98 g/mL(25℃ 기준)).
제조예 3. 실리콘계 첨가제 3
양말단 아미노 변성 실리콘 오일(굴절율 1.418(25℃ 기준), 아미노기 당량 430 g/mol이고, 점도 12 cP(25℃ 기준), 비중 1.00 g/mL(25℃ 기준)).
실시예 1. 폴리이미드 바니쉬
질소 가스로 치환한 반응 용기 중에 디메틸아세트아미드 및 개질제를 포함하는 유기 용매를 투입하고 이무수물 단량체로서 피로멜리틱 디안하이드라이드(PMDA)(99.6 몰% 내지 103.8 몰%), 유기실란으로 표면처리된 나노 실리카(에틸렌글리콜 분산 실리카졸, 실리카 고형분 농도 20 wt%, 실리카 평균입자경 70-100 nm, 점도 20~100 mPa·s, 수분 2% 이하의 오르가노 실리카졸) (0.75 중량%)를 혼합하여 40℃에서 30분간 교반하였다. 이후 디아민 단량체로서 4,4'-디아미노디페닐에테르(ODA)(100 몰%) 첨가하고 피로멜리트산(0~0.5 몰%)를 투입하고, 실리콘계 첨가제(0.53 중량%)를 첨가 후 40℃ 온도에서 1시간가량 교반하여 중합하여 고형분 15~25 중량%의 폴리아믹산 용액을 제조하였다.
비교예 1 내지 7. 폴리이미드 바니쉬
하기 표 1에 나타낸 바와 같이 이무수물 단량체, 디아민 단량체, 유기실란으로 표면처리된 나노 실리카, 실리콘계 첨가물의 성분 및 함량 비율을 조절한 것을 제외하고는 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 폴리이미드 전구체를 제조하였다.

<실험예>
물성 측정을 위한 폴리이미드 제조
상기 실시예 및 비교예에서 제조된 각각의 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 1,500 rpm 이상의 고속 회전을 통해 기포를 제거하였다. 이후 스핀 코터를 이용하여 유리 기판에 탈포된 폴리이미드 바니쉬를 도포하였다.
질소 분위기 하에서 상온부터 400℃까지 4 ℃/min의 속도로 승온하고 400℃에서 60분 동안 열처리한 후, 30℃까지 4 ℃/분의 속도로 냉각하여 20±1.0 ㎛의 필름 형태의 폴리이미드를 수득하였다.
실험예 1. 마찰계수
QMESYS社 QM110CF모델을 사용하여 ASTMD1894, D4918 방법으로, 속도 150mm/min, 하중 200g, 변위 65mm, 23℃분위기 조건하에서 마찰계수를 측정하였으며, 그 결과를 하기 표 2에 나타내었다.

제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카는 평균 입자 크기가 10 내지 200 nm인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 실리콘계 첨가제는 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 실리콘계 첨가제인 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬:

상기 화학식 2에서,
R1, R7 및 R10은 각각 독립적으로, C1-20 알킬기이고;
X1 내지 X3은 각각 독립적으로, 수소원자, C1-3 알킬기, C6-10 아릴기, 히드록시기, 아미노기, 에폭시기, 아크릴기, 산무수물기, 카르복실기, 메타크릴기, 머캡토기, 알콕시기, 실란올기 또는 폴리에테르기이고,
여기서, X1 내지 X3 중 적어도 하나는 히드록시기, 아미노기, 에폭시기, 아크릴기, 산무수물기, 카르복실기, 메타크릴기, 머캡토기 또는 폴리에테르기이고,

제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기 용매는 N-메틸-피롤리돈(NMP), N,N'-디메틸포름아미드(DMF), N,N'-디에틸포름아미드(DEF), N,N'-디메틸아세트아미드(DMAc), 디메틸프로판아미드(DMPA), N,N-디에틸아시트아마이드(DEAc), 디메틸설폭사이드(DMSO), 3-메톡시-N,N-디메틸프로판아마이드(KJCMPA), p-클로로페놀, o-클로로페놀, 감마 브티로 락톤(GBL), 디그림(Diglyme) 및 나프탈렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제8항에 있어서, 상기 유기 용매는 히드록시기(OH) 또는 아민기(NH)를 포함하는 개질제를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제9항에 있어서, 상기 히드록시기(OH) 또는 아민기(NH)를 포함하는 개질제는 에틸아민, 트리에탄올아민, 디메틸아민, 트리메틸아민, 디에틸렌트리아민, 에틸렌디아민, 트리부틸아민, 피리딘, 피롤리딘, 메탄올, 에탄올, 프로판올, 이소프로판올, sec-부탄올, tert-부탄올, n-아밀알코올, 이소아밀알코올, 헥산올, 옥탄올, 카프릴알코올, 노닐알코올, 데실알코올, 운데실알코올, 라루릴알코올, 미리스틸알코올, 세틸알코올, 스테아릴알코올, 알릴알코올, 크로틸알코올, 프로파르길알코올, 에틸렌글리콜, 프로필렌글리콜, 벤질알코올 및 페놀로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 폴리이미드 고형분이 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여, 10 내지 30 중량부로 포함되는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기실란으로 표면개질된 나노 실리카는 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여, 0.3 내지 7 중량부로 포함되는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 실리콘계 첨가제는 전체 폴리이미드 바니쉬 100 중량부에 대하여, 0.05 내지 5 중량부로 포함되는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 전체 이무수물 단량체 중 피로멜리틱 디안하이드라이드(PMDA)가 50 몰% 이상의 비율로 포함되는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 전체 디아민 단량체 중 4,4'-디아미노디페닐에테르(ODA)가 50 몰% 이상의 비율로 포함되는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 방향족 카르복실산을 추가로 포함하는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제16항에 있어서, 상기 방향족 카르복실산은 피로멜리트산(pyromellitic acid, PMA), 3,3',4,4'-비페닐테트라카르복실산 (3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid, BPTA), 1,2,3,4-벤젠테트라카르복실산(1,2,3,4-benzenetetracarboxylic acid), 벤조페논-3,3',4,4'-테트라카복실산(benzophenone-3,3',4,4'-tetracarboxylic acid), 피라진테트라카복실산(pyrazinetetracarboxylic acid), 2,3,6,7-나프탈렌테트라카르복실산(2,3,6,7-naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid) 및 나프탈렌-1,4,5,8-테트라카르복실산(naphthalene-1,4,5,8-tetracarboxylic acid)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상을 포함하는, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.

제18항에 있어서, 방향족 카르복실산 0 내지 1.0 몰%을 추가로 더 포함하는 것인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리이미드 바니쉬는 30℃ 온도 및 1s-1의 전단속도 조건으로 측정한 점도가 500 내지 20,000 cP인, 폴리이미드 바니쉬.
제1항 내지 제20항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 폴리이미드 바니쉬의 경화물을 포함하는 폴리이미드 피복물.
제21항에 있어서, 상기 폴리이미드 피복물은 마찰계수(PI-SUS)가 0.4 이하인, 폴리이미드 피복물.
