Sont prévus : un convoyeur d'emballage (39), qui est conçu pour déplacer les deux groupes (14) d'articles à fumer les uns à côté des autres et accouplés aux deux feuilles d'emballage (18) le long d'un trajet d'emballage droit et horizontal (P3) ; deux dispositifs de pliage (52), chacun accouplé au convoyeur d'emballage (39) et agencés le long du trajet d'emballage (P3) afin de plier deux extrémités opposées d'une feuille d'emballage (18) autour d'un groupe correspondant (14) d'articles à fumer ; et deux dispositifs d'étanchéité (55), chacun accouplé au convoyeur d'emballage ((39)) et agencés le long du trajet d'emballage (P3) en aval du dispositif de pliage (52) respectif pour former un joint sur deux côtés d'une feuille d'emballage (18) pliée autour d'un groupe correspondant (14) d'articles à fumer.
