- Examples 1-10, Comparative Examples 1-2 A sample and a comparative sample were prepared by uniformly mixing the components listed in Table 1. Numerical values in the table are active amounts.
- Tress A 0.25 g of Caucasian curly hair (purchased from Kerling International Haarrfabrik, curly hair, 30 cm long, with 4 or 5 curls from the root to the tip) was used as one bundle of tress.
- Tress B 2.0 g of the same hair as Tress A was used as one bundle of tress.
- Step 1 The above-mentioned plain shampoo was applied to the tresses of Tress A or Tress B, washed by lathering for 1 minute, and then rinsed with running water for 30 seconds. After rinsing, excess moisture was removed from the hair, and then the samples shown in Examples were applied to the hair at a bath ratio of 1:1 and allowed to soak in for 1 minute. After that, in Example 1, without rinsing, the roots are held and suspended for 10 seconds to drain naturally. Also, in Examples 2 to 9 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2, the pieces were rinsed in running water for 30 seconds, then hung by holding the roots and naturally drained for 10 seconds. After that, in Example 7, combing (passing a comb from the root to the tip of the hair three times) is performed.
- Step 2 The hair treated in step 1 is scrunched (*) 10 times. Comparative Example 2 does not scrunch. * Scrunch: (a) Imitate the motion of putting the hair in the palm of your hand and lifting it up and then releasing it, then press the hair tip onto a towel spread on a table and lift it up, and repeat this motion 10 times at a rate of once per second. . (b) Simulating the action of grasping and rubbing the hair, scooping up the tresses from the ends of the hair, spread the hands as if massaging, and then repeat the operation 10 times at a rate of once per second. (c) Imitating the motion of twisting the hair, wrap the tresses around the finger and pull the finger out in the direction of the tip of the hair, repeating 10 times.
- Step 3 Allow to dry naturally (drying conditions: hanging overnight in a laboratory atmosphere (approximately 25°C 45RH))
- Spiral rate (%) (number of forward rotation points / total number of curl points) x 100
- Number of forward rotation points is the number of places where a curl is curled in the same direction as half a turn before when a bundle of hair is placed from the tip and the direction of the curl is observed from the root side of the tress. number
- ⁇ Floating hair/loose score A photograph of the tresses B after the hair treatment was taken, and the number of hairs clearly independent from the hair tuft was counted for a portion of 3 to 8 cm from the root. The larger the number of hairs, the more floating hairs there are, indicating that the hairs are scattered.
- ⁇ Three-dimensionality The tress B after the hair treatment is laid down on a table, and a 3.5 g cardboard of 8.5 cm ⁇ 21 cm is placed on it, and the height (cm) from the top surface of the table to the cardboard is measured. The higher the height from the top surface of the table to the cardboard, the more firmly the curl is formed.
- ⁇ Reproducibility 1 (you can always style with the same finish): The hair treatment described above is performed on one tress A, and the direction of curl is observed. Do this 10 times with the same tress. For each curl from root to tip, count the number of forward turns out of 10. It shows that more beautiful curls were reproduced as the number of forward rotation portions increased. According to the following formula, the ratio of the total number of forward curling points to the total number of all curling points appearing in 10 times is evaluated. Number of forward rotation points that appear in 10 times / Total number of curl points that appear in 10 times x 100 (%)
- ⁇ Reproducibility 2 (Returns to original even if disturbed): After the hair has been treated and dried, the tress B is combed 10 times to break the wave curl, and then scrunch treatment is performed to evaluate the reproducibility of the original wave curl. Specifically, the state of the hair bundle after the hair treatment and drying on the tress B, and the operation of grasping the hair bundle after passing the comb 10 times and sliding the hand from the root to the tip of the hair. Compare the state of the hair tresses after 10 repetitions. Measure the bundle width at 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm from the root, and use the value of [bundle width after repeating the movement of sliding your hand after combing 10 times/bundle width before combing]. Compare shape reproducibility. The closer this value is to 1, the higher the reproducibility. The table shows the average values of the above values at 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm from the root.
