Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device for creating a kinesio band according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device for creating a kinesio band according to the preamble of claim 7.
- Kinesio tapes of this type are self-adhesive textile adhesive tapes in which two or more partial strips are formed at one end.
- kinesio tapes which are designed to meet the individual needs of the patient or athlete, are glued to the skin at the relevant point, with the partial strips being spread apart from the actual kinesio tape, in order to achieve an optimal health effect. It is important that the kinesio band used is adapted to the individual circumstances of the patient or the athlete in relation to the length of the kinesio band, as well as the length and number of partial strips.
- a device for cutting a healthcare tape which comprises a lower part with vertical guide elements and an upper part held movably in the guide elements, with three in the upper part in the longitudinal direction of the healthcare adhesive tape Slit knives are permanently installed and a vertically movable separating knife is held transversely to the longitudinal direction of the health adhesive tape.
- a holder is attached to the lower part to hold the health adhesive tape wound up on a roll. From there the medical tape is guided between the lower part and the upper part and is divided into four partial strips by the three slitting knives. As soon as the desired length of the kinesio tape to be created has been reached, the cutting blade is actuated and the kinesio tape is separated from the health adhesive tape.
- DE 10 2014 014 581 A1 (FIGS. 4 and 5) describes a device for rounding off the free ends of a partial strip in order to make it more difficult for the partial strips of the kinesio band to detach prematurely and unintentionally from the body.
- a semi-circular blade is provided in a body, which has approximately the width of the partial strip.
- the present invention is based on the object of creating a device for creating individual Kinesio bands of the type mentioned at the outset, with which the individual Kinesio band can be produced in a few simple steps and/or with which the desired number of partial strips can be produced in a simple manner .
- a device for creating an individual kinesio band of the type mentioned with the features of claim 1 is proposed according to the invention. Advantageous developments of this device can be found in the respective dependent claims.
- a device designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that the desired Kinesio tape is separated from the adhesive tape with the first cutting blade, while the second cutting blade cuts the beginning of the following Kinesio tape, with the curved design of the cutting blades causing the corners of the Kinesio tape and the partial strips that are still to be formed are weakened in order to make it more difficult for the Kinesioband or the partial strips to detach prematurely and unintentionally from the body. All of this can be carried out with a single device, so that the desired kinesio band can be produced with the proposed device in a simple manner and with just a few manipulations.
- first severing blade and the second severing blade are moved by a common actuating lever.
- the first severing blade has an upper edge that rises from a first edge of the adhesive sanitary tape to a second edge of the adhesive sanitary tape.
- the rising upper edge of the first separating blade is arranged in the opposite direction to the rising upper edge of the second separating blade.
- the device for creating an individual Kinesio band comprises a base body, on the underside of which a base plate is movably fastened.
- the base plate can be fastened to the base body such that it can pivot between an open position and a closed position.
- a guide channel is formed on the underside of the base body or on the inside of the base plate or distributed over the base body and the base plate for guiding a part of the adhesive tape with a precise fit.
- the first severing blade and the second severing blade are mounted in a storage unit which is detachably connected to the device.
- the storage unit can be magnetically attached to the device.
- the first separating blade and the second separating blade in the unactuated position, ie when they are not used to cut the health tape, completely from the Storage unit to be surrounded. Direct contact, in particular between a user's hand and the separating blades, is then not possible.
- the storage unit therefore serves as a protection against injuries.
- the storage unit and the severing blades can be safely detached from the device in order to exchange the severing blades for new severing blades, particularly when the severing blades have become blunt or damaged.
- the bottom panel is movably attached to the base, access to the storage unit is provided in the open position.
- a device designed according to this technical teaching has the advantage that a rotatable turret drum is provided, in which two or more slitting units for slitting the adhesive tape or kinesio tape to create partial strips are arranged, with each slitting unit having at least one slitting knife for slitting the adhesive tape or the kinesio band and wherein each slitting unit has a different number of slitting knives.
- This has the advantage that kinesio tapes with the desired number of partial strips can be created with a single device and that it is possible in a very short time to change the number of slot knives in engagement, so that kinesio tapes with a different number of partial strips can be produced in rapid succession can be created with a single device.
- the turret can be locked in such a way that the slitting unit is in engagement with the medical adhesive tape with the desired number of slitting knives. This will prevent the Avoided revolver drum when slashing.
- Another advantage is that by locking the turret drum, the operation of the device becomes easier overall.
- Yet another advantage is that the slitting knives remain in the optimal slitting position throughout the slitting process, resulting in a particularly clean cut.
- the revolver drum can also be locked in such a way that no slot unit is in engagement with the kinesio belt. This has the advantage that a kinesio tape can be created without partial strips, because in this position the desired kinesio tape is only separated from the health-care tape without creating partial strips.
- the slitting knives are designed as roller knives. This has the advantage that the roller cutters act on the medical tape from above and cut through it while rolling, resulting in a clean cut. A further advantage is that this reduces the effort required to pull the healthcare tape.
- the axis of the slitting knife in particular the rotary knife, is held on roller bearings, in particular on ball bearings, on the turret drum.
- the turret drum is detachably attached to the device.
- the slotting knives are mounted in the turret drum. If one or more of the slotting knives are damaged or dull, they can be quickly replaced by disconnecting the turret from the device and replacing it with a new one.
- a base body is provided, on the underside of which a base plate is movably attached, a spring plate being resiliently mounted on the base plate and arranged such that it can come into contact with the slitting knives.
- the base plate can be fastened to the base body such that it can pivot between an open position and a closed position.
- the slitting knives come into contact with the spring plate and press the spring plate slightly out of its prestressed position towards the base plate. As a result, the spring plate is pressed against the slotting knives with a certain force. This ensures that the medical tape is reliably severed by the slitting knives. Safe cutting is also ensured with thicker healthcare tapes.
- those partial areas of the device that are in contact with the adhesive side of the healthcare tape are made of Teflon or are coated with Teflon. This has the advantage that the medical adhesive tape slides easily over the surface and thus an unwanted jamming or canting of the medical adhesive tape is prevented.

- FIGS. 1 to 5 show an embodiment of a device according to the invention for creating an individual kinesio tape, which has a base body 10, a base plate 12 that can be folded down on the base body 10, and a roll holder 14 attached to the base body 10 for receiving a health adhesive tape 16 wound up on a roll includes.
- the base plate 12, which is held pivotably on the base body 10 is shown open in order to make the individual components more visible. It goes without saying that the base plate 12 is closed while the kinesio band 18 is being created.
- a turret drum 20 is rotatably held in the base body 10, which comprises four different slitting units 22a-d, the first slitting unit 22a having a single roller knife 24, while the second slitting unit 22b has two roller knives 24, the third slitting unit 22c has three roller knives 24 and the fourth slitting unit 22d has four roller cutters 24.
- Each roller blade 24 is disk-shaped and has a sharp cutting edge on its circumference, so that the roller blade 24 rolls on the healthcare adhesive tape 16 and cuts through it at the same time.
- Each cutting unit 22a-d has an axis (not shown in detail in the drawing) which is held rotatably in the turret drum 20 and on which the roller cutters 24 of a cutting unit 22a-d are attached.
- the roller cutters 24 are firmly mounted on the axle, while the axle is held on the turret drum 20 so that it can rotate via two ball bearings.
- the axis is fixedly attached to the turret drum, while the roller cutters are rotatably held on the axis, in particular via a ball bearing each.
- the revolver drum 20 is held within the base body 10 in such a way that the respective roller cutters 24 of a slitting unit 22a-d engage in the healthcare adhesive tape 16 in order to slit it with the aim of producing a corresponding number of partial strips 26 in the kinesio tape 18.
- the turret drum 20 can be rotated via a handwheel 28 accessible from the outside in such a way that the desired slot unit 22a-d comes into engagement with the adhesive tape 16 for healthcare purposes.
- the turret drum 20 is set so that the third slot unit 22c with its three roller blades 24 in the
- Health adhesive tape 16 engages and produces four sub-strips 26 there, as can be seen in particular in FIG. It is also possible to move the turret drum 20 to a position between two slot units 22a- d to bring so that no intervention of a roller knife 24 in the health tape 16 takes place (not shown).
- the revolver drum 20 has means, not shown in detail here, for locking the revolver drum 20 in the desired position in order to prevent the slitting unit 22a-d from slipping during the slitting process.
- the turret drum 20 can also be locked when no roller cutter 24 is engaged.
- the turret drum 20 is detachably mounted on the base body 10 by means that are not shown in detail.
- a pressure plate can be used for storage, which is pressed against the turret drum 20 with springs and holds it in its desired position within the base body 10 . By removing the pressure plate from the turret drum 20, it can be removed from the base body 10.
- spring-loaded balls or other locking means can be used.
- a first separating blade 30 and a second separating blade 32 are provided in the base body 10, both of which are curved and arranged in opposite directions in the base body 10. Both separating blades 30, 32 can be operated via a common actuating lever 34. If this actuating lever 34 is pressed down by the operator, the first and the second cutting blade 30, 32 engage in the medical adhesive tape 16 and cut through it. In FIG. 1, the first and second severing blades 30, 32 are shown in their rest position, while in FIGS.
- first recess 36 corresponding to the first severing blade 30 and a second recess 38 corresponding to the second severing blade 34, into which the severing blades 30, 32 when cutting through the adhesive tape 16 and when the base plate 12 reach in to get a clean cut.
- recesses 40 are provided in the base plate 12 corresponding to the roller cutters 24, into which the roller cutters 24 reach when the healthcare adhesive tape 16 is slit in order to achieve a clean cut.
- the turret 20 In the rest position, the turret 20 is adjusted so that no roller blade 24 is in the engaged position and that the first and second severing blades 30, 32 are above the expected medical tape 16 such that the actuating lever 34 is in an up position .
- the individually created Kinesio band 18 essentially comprises two sections, on the one hand the base section 42 which extends over the entire width of the Kinesio band 18 and has no slits, and on the other hand the partial strips 26.
- the Kinesio band 18 has a total of four Partial stiffeners 26, as can be seen clearly from FIG.
- the medical adhesive tape 16 is unwound a little from the roll and, with the base plate 12 open, guided past the base body 10 until a section of the medical adhesive tape 16 protrudes beyond the base body 10 .
- the medical adhesive tape 16 should protrude so far that the base section 42 has the desired length.
- the finished Kinesio tape 18 is to receive four sub-strips 26 .
- the turret drum 20 is rotated via the hand wheel 28 in such a way that the slot unit 20c points downwards towards the base plate 12 .
- the base plate 12 is then closed and fixed to the base body 10 by means of a closure device that is not shown in detail here.
- the actuating lever 34 is moved so that the kinesio tape 18 is now separated from the adhesive tape 16 by the first separating blade 30 and, due to the curved design of the first separating blade, rounds off the ends of the partial strips 26 in order to avoid sharp corners .
- the second, also curved separating blade 32 cuts the beginning of the next kinesio strip 18 and also rounds off the corners, here in the base section 42. Then the kinesio strip 18 is pulled completely out of the device, with the slitting unit 22c further slitting the kinesio strip 18 around to create the partial strips 26 completely. If the now finished kinesio tape 18 is pulled out of the device, the actuating lever 34 is moved to its starting position and the bottom plate 12 is opened in order to bring the health-care tape 16 into the starting position for the next kinesio tape 18 .
- a guide channel 50 is formed in the base plate 12 (see FIG. 5) in which the adhesive tape 16 is guided.
- the medical adhesive tape 16 is thus reliably guided between the base body 10 and the bottom plate 12 past the cutting-off blades 30 , 32 and the turret drum 24 .
- turret drum 20 is shown enlarged and the slitting unit 22a with the single roller knife 24 and the slitting unit 22d with the four roller knives 24 can be seen very clearly second slitting unit 22b with two roller knives 24 and between the second slitting unit 22b and the fourth slitting unit 22d is the third slitting unit 22c with its three roller knives 24.
- an axis channel 44 is formed in the turret drum 20, in which the axis of the slotted section 22a-d, not shown in detail here, is held.
- the respective roller cutters 24 of a slitting unit 22a-d are attached to the axle, with each axle being rotatably held on the turret drum 20 via a right and a left roller bearing, here a ball bearing.
- a separating device 56 comprising the first and the second separating blade 30, 32 is shown in more detail in FIGS.
- each of the two severing blades 30, 32 is curved, with the curvature of the severing blades 30, 32 being arranged in opposite directions.
- a first upper edge 46 of the first separating blade 30 protrudes further out of the base body 10 on a first side than on the opposite side, so that the upper edge 46 is arranged at an angle.
- a second upper edge 48 of the second separating blade 32 so that this second upper edge 48 also runs obliquely.
- This oblique arrangement of the top edge 46, 48 causes the severing blade 30, 32 first to penetrate the adhesive tape 16 with the end of the top edge 46, 48 protruding far, and the rest of the top edge 46, 48 only gradually penetrates the adhesive tape 16 and this health adhesive tape 16 is accordingly gradually severed.
- the first and the second upper edge 46 , 48 are arranged in opposite directions, so that the first upper edge 46 initially meets a first side of the adhesive sanitary tape 16 , while the second upper edge 48 initially meets the opposite side of the adhesive sanitary tape 16 .
- the separating blades 30, 32 are immersed evenly and with little force.
- the separating device 56 also includes devices that are not explicitly shown here
- Base body 10 can be used and removed from this again.
- a magnetic connection or a latching connection can be provided (not shown), for example. Because the severing device 56 and the severing blades 30, 32 stored there with the storage unit 58 can be separated from the base body 10, the severing blades 30, 32 can be replaced quickly and easily, particularly when they are damaged or have become blunt.
- the base plate 12 is made of Teflon in order to achieve better sliding of the adhesive tape 16 for healthcare purposes.
- the surface of the base plate 12 is coated with Teflon in order to achieve better sliding of the adhesive tape 16 for healthcare purposes.
- FIG. 9 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the base plate 12 using a basic sectional representation.
- the base plate 12 shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 has a number of recesses 40 into which the slitting knives 24 reach when the adhesive tape 16 is slit.
- the base plate 12 shown in FIG. The spring plate 50 is guided in a recess 54 in the base plate 12, and it can also be mounted on the base plate 12 without the recess 54.
- the force with which the spring plate 50 is pressed against the slitting knife 24 mounted in the turret drum 20 ensures that the slitting knife 24 also cuts thicker adhesive tapes 16 reliably.
