Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for treating a wound area according to the preamble of claim 1, a use of a device for treating a wound area according to the preamble of claim 9 and a method for using a device for treating a wound area according to the preamble of claim 10.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a safe and reliable device for treating a wound area.
- a device for treating a wound area in particular on extremities, in particular an arm and/or leg, in particular for stopping and/or controlling bleeding injuries, comprising a wound dressing that is to be placed on the wound area and a wound dressing that is attached to it elastic retaining band means to be applied around the extremity, wherein the wound dressing means comprises a shape-retaining means and a hollow cushion means which are inserted into the wound dressing means, in particular integrated in one piece, the hollow cushion means having a means for adjusting the air pressure before and/or after being laid on to actuate the wound area.
- the present invention allows first responders and trained medical personnel to treat a profusely bleeding wound.
- the construction of the invention enables better control of the treatment, since the pressure on the wound can be regulated by the built-in cushion hollow means. In this way, pressure bandages that are too loose or too tight can be prevented easily and safely, especially in the case of heavily bleeding injuries.
- the cushion bladder is applied with pressure to the wound with an elastic bandage and inflated with an air agent.
- the invention advantageously includes, in particular, cushion hollow means with a syringe, a fixation plate and a bandage with a sterile wound dressing.
- the hollow cushion means can be filled with air and/or emptied in a predetermined manner by means of an air pump means, in particular a removable one, so that a predetermined firmness can be set.
- the firmness can be set individually for the respective person, especially injuries, and can also be adjusted when the mask is on. This is particularly important for injuries that bleed heavily, since any increase in bleeding can also be intercepted by pumping in air, especially in tactical medicine, especially when rapid treatment is necessary, especially when the bandage is not to be removed again.
- the shape-retaining means has a protruding shape on a large area of an outside, in particular a flattened pyramid shape, which is to be placed on the wound area. It is advantageous if the cushion hollow means is arranged between elastic retaining strap means, which is held on the shape-retaining means, and the protruding outside of the shape-retaining means.
- the retaining strap means is arranged detachably on the shape-retaining means, in particular guided through side openings provided on each side
- a sterile wound dressing is arranged between the shape-retaining means and/or retaining strap means and the wound area.
- the air pump means has a back pressure valve and/or a coupling means for a removable air pump unit.
- the object is also achieved by using a device for wound dressing that has an adjustable contact pressure, in particular on an extremity, in particular an arm and/or leg, in particular for stopping and/or controlling bleeding injuries, with a wound dressing being placed on the wound area , and an elastic retaining strap means attached thereto, is applied around the extremity, in particular around the arm and/or leg, the wound dressing means comprising a shape-retaining means and a hollow cushion means which are inserted into the wound dressing means, in particular integrated in one piece, the hollow cushion means being a Means for adjusting the air pressure, which is to be actuated before and/or after being placed on the wound area.
- the object is also achieved by a method for using a device for treating a wound area, in particular on an extremity, in particular an arm and/or leg, in particular for stopping and/or controlling bleeding injuries, with a wound dressing being placed on the wound area. and tether elastic means attached thereto for securing the limb around, in particular around the arm and/or the leg, wherein the wound dressing means comprises a shape-retaining means and a hollow cushion means, which are inserted into the wound dressing means, in particular integrated in one piece, the hollow cushion means having a means for adjusting the air pressure, which is before and/or after being placed on the wound area.
