Definitions
- Fastening device for a facade with facade elements and facade with the fastening device
- the invention relates to a fastening device for a facade with facade elements and a facade with the fastening device, having glass panes, with at least one post made of a wooden material and with at least one holding element that can be fastened to the post to hold at least one of the facade elements of the facade.
- EP1342861 B1 proposes screwing a retaining element onto a profile-shaped post made of wood in order to clamp and thus fasten facade elements of the facade.
- offset blind holes are provided in the wooden post - which disadvantageously determines the mounting height of the facade elements on the post.
- a universal usability of the wooden post for facade elements with different dimensions is impossible.
- such a height determination on the wooden post is sensitive to production-related tolerances - which in turn makes the use and handling of the fastening device more difficult.
- the invention has therefore set itself the task of creating a fastening device with a proportion of renewable material which, despite the use of wood, can be used stably and extremely variably for a wide variety of facade elements.
- the fastening device should be easy to handle.
- the invention solves the problem with the features of claim 1 .
- the post has a wooden support and at least one metallic connection element
- the post can be made from a high proportion of a renewable wood material.
- the post can absorb mechanical loads safely and stably through the metal connection element - this in that the post has a groove-shaped recess running in the longitudinal direction on a first side of the post in the wooden support, in the area of which the connection element is provided at least in sections, via which connection element the holding element on the post is attached.
- a post which has a comparatively simple but particularly stable construction for absorbing loads from facade elements, for example panes of glass.
- connection element is preferably an open metal profile.
- the metal profile is inserted into the groove-shaped recess with its profile opening, which is open to the outside from the post, and is firmly connected to this wooden support.
- the retaining element engages in the metal profile via the profile opening.
- the holding element can be clamped to the metal profile.
- the holding element engages with its screw and its clamping part.
- the post can be made from a high proportion of a renewable wood material.
- the post can absorb mechanical loads safely and stably through the metal profile, in that the post has a groove-shaped recess running in the longitudinal direction on a first post side in the wooden support, into which the metal profile is inserted with its profile opening open from the post to the outside and is firmly connected to this wooden support. via which profile opening the retaining element engages in the metal profile.
- handling can be particularly facilitated by the open profile, since the holding element can be positioned so that it can slide freely along the profile. In this way, manufacturing tolerances can be compensated for and façade elements can be fastened in an improved manner, regardless of their tolerances.
- the construction can be further simplified and its stability increased if the metal profile has a first profile section which has the profile opening and an undercut behind it, with the retaining element engaging in this first profile section.
- the first profile section is preferably C-shaped in cross section.
- a layer of adhesive in particular can contribute to increased load-bearing capacity of the post.
- the post preferably has a first mechanical connecting element which fastens the metal profile to the wooden support.
- the mechanical resilience of the post can be increased in this way - which improves the stability of the fastening device.
- a bolt or pin connection for example, is conceivable as a mechanical connecting element, which, among other things, can facilitate the production of the post.
- the connecting means can advantageously be provided outside the direct field of vision of the post if the connecting element fastens the metal profile to the wooden support from a second or/or third side of the post, which adjoins the first side of the post.
- the first profile section has a profile base and the metal profile has at least one web as the second profile section, which protrudes from the profile base of the first profile section away from the metal profile, the torsional rigidity of the metal profile and thus the stability of the fastening device can be further increased.
- the aforesaid can be further improved if the web protrudes centrally from the profile base and/or runs normal to the profile base.
- the web preferably has at least one first fastening opening, which extends through the first connecting element—which enables the metal profile to be fastened particularly securely to the wooden support.
- the retaining element can be easily guided on the metal profile if the first profile section has a nose on each of the end legs forming the profile opening, which projections are arranged in the cavity of the metal profile and protrude laterally from the respective end legs.
- this material reinforcement at the profile opening can increase the mechanical resilience of the metal profile - which allows comparatively heavy facade elements to be attached to the post via the holding element.
- the holding element has a spacer element which rests against the metal profile and is not in contact with the wooden support, which can further increase the stability of the fastening device.
- the groove-shaped recess has at least one blind hole. If the connecting element is a threaded insert, which is inserted into the blind hole and firmly connected to this wooden support, the holding element, in particular with its screw, engaging in the threaded insert, the post can thereby also absorb mechanical loads safely and stably.
- the threaded insert is preferably self-tapping in order to firmly connect it to the wooden support by screwing it in.
- Other threaded inserts are conceivable, for example a threaded insert for pressing in, drive-in nuts, etc.
- an anti-twist device can be achieved in a structurally simple manner on the holding element, in which the holding element has a spacer element which rests against the first post side and which with its projection into the groove-shaped Recess engages to prevent rotation relative to the post.
- the spacer element can also rest against the first side of the post.
- the projection is preferably rectangular in cross section.
- the holding element has a spacer element for spacing the facade element from the post with a fixed distance between them.
- the spacer element can be essentially I-shaped, for example.
- the spacer element can, for example, be rigid, for example made of metal.
- the spacer element preferably rests with one end on the post and with its other opposite end, if necessary via an elastic layer, on the facade element.
- the wooden support consists of a laminated veneer lumber
- high mechanical loads can be absorbed by the post, for example.
- the fastening device can be distinguished in particular in the case of facades with facade elements which are, for example, panes of glass.

- Fig. 2 shows a detailed view of Fig. 1,
- FIG. 3 shows a front view of a post of the fastening device according to FIG. 1 with a holding element of the fastening device shown in a sectional view
- 4 shows a fastening device of FIG. 1 modified in the holding element for the facade elements
- Fig. 5 is a sectional view across a fastening device with facade elements according to a second embodiment
- FIG. 6 shows a front view of a post of the fastening device according to FIG. 5.
- a fastening device 1 which holds two facade elements 2a, 2b, namely insulating glazing, on a wall 3 of a building, not shown.
- the fastening device 1 has a vertically running post 4 and a holding element 5 which clamps the two facade elements 2a, 2b to the post 4.
- the holding element 5 is fastened to the post 4 for this purpose.
- the post 4 has a wood material.
- the post 4 is essentially formed by a wooden support 6 .
- the post 4 has a wooden support 6 with an open metal profile 7 .
- This metal profile 7 is inserted into the wooden support 6.
- the post 4 has a groove-shaped recess 8 on a first post side 4a in the wooden support 6 in the longitudinal direction L, into which the metal profile 7 is inserted with its profile opening 9a and with this wooden support 6 is firmly connected.
- the profile opening 9a is located on an outer side of the post 4.
- the metal profile 7 is accordingly inserted into the wooden support 6 with its profile opening 9a open from the post 4 to the outside. This creates a post 4 which gives the fastening device 1 a high degree of stability.
- the holding element 5 engages in the metal profile 7, which has the profile opening 9a and behind this an undercut 9b - in
- the undercut 9b connects to the opening 91.
- the undercut 9b is gripped from behind by the holding element 5 for clamping with the metal profile 7, which considerably facilitates the assembly of the facade elements 2a, 2b.
- the holding element 5 can be displaced in the longitudinal direction L of the metal profile 7 as required, which further facilitates the assembly of the facade elements 2a, 2b—in particular when manufacturing tolerances have to be compensated for.
- An organic layer 10 namely an adhesive layer, is provided between the wooden support 6 and the metal profile 7--as indicated in FIG. This organic layer 10 ensures a flush connection - to prevent moisture from penetrating into the recess 8 between the wooden support 6 and the metal profile 7 .
- the metal profile 7 is firmly connected to the wooden support 6 via a first mechanical connecting element 11, namely via a bolt connection, which has a bolt 11a with an internal thread on both bolt ends and two head screws 11b, 11c engaging in this internal thread.
- the first mechanical connecting element 11 penetrates through the entire post 4 - namely through the second and third post side 4b, 4c.
- the metal profile 7 In addition to a first profile section 7a, which is C-shaped in cross section, the metal profile 7 also has a second profile section 7b with a straight web 12. This straight web 12 protrudes from the center of the profile base 13 of the first profile section 7a and runs normally away from the profile base 13 in the exemplary embodiment—as can be seen in FIG.
- a fastening opening 14 through which the first connecting element 11 passes is provided in the web 12 .
- the metal profile 7 is thus connected to the wooden support 6 in a particularly stable manner.
- the metal profile 7 has a nose 16 on each of the end legs 15a, 15b forming the profile opening 9a, which nose 16 is located in the cavity of the Metal profile 7 are arranged and the respective end legs 15a, 15 protrude laterally.
- a holding element 5, which is inserted into the profile opening 9a from the outside, can thus be connected particularly securely to the metal profile 7, which means that high clamping forces are exerted on the post 4 in order to ensure that the façade elements 2a, 2b are securely fastened.
- the holding element 5 of the fastening device 1 has a spacer element 17 .
- the rigid spacer element 17, for example made of metal, essentially has an I-shape.
- the spacer element 17 is provided between the post 4 and the facade elements 2a, 2b and keeps them at a distance A from the post and thus establishes a fixed distance A between them.
- the spacer element 17 is clamped to the metal profile 7 via a first screw 18 as a fastening screw and a clamping part 19--as can be seen in detail in FIG.
- the screw 18 is a fastening screw, optionally with a screw head, and can absorb tensile forces.
- the spacer element 17 rests against the metal profile 7 and is not in contact with the wooden support 6 in order not to load it directly, which increases stability.
- a retaining plate 20 of the retaining element 5 - see, inter alia, Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 - is provided on the outside of the facade elements 2a, 2b - this retaining plate 17 is tightened to the spacer element 17 via a screw 21 as a fastening screw, whereby the facade elements 2a, 2b are fastened between the holding plate 5 and the spacer element 17.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 differs from the fastening device 1 shown in FIG. 1 in the area of the groove-shaped recess 108, among other things Form sections on the wooden beam.
- the groove-shaped recess 108 has at least one blind hole 108a on its base 108b. According to FIG. 6, a blind hole 108a and two blind holes 108a, each with a groove-shaped recess 108, are shown.
- connection element is designed as a threaded insert 101 and is provided in a blind hole 108a.
- the threaded insert 101 is self-tapping and for this purpose has a conical external thread 101b which cuts into the wooden support 6 when provided by screwing. The threaded insert 101 is thus firmly connected to this wooden support 6 .
- Other threaded inserts 101 are conceivable, but not shown.
- the holding element 105 engages with its screw 18 in the threaded insert 101 , namely in its internal thread 101a, which holds this holding element 105 on the post 4 .
- the holding element 105 engages with its spacer element 117 in the groove-shaped recess 108 .
- the spacer element 117 has a projection 117a, which engages in the groove-shaped recess 108 and thus creates an anti-twist device with respect to the post 4 .
- the spacer element 117 is also essentially I-shaped here.
- the preferably metallic spacer element 117 is also rigid here in order to maintain a fixed distance A between the post 4 and the facade elements 2a, 2b. This ensures that facade elements 2a, 2b, namely insulating glazing, are securely held on a wall 3 of a building (not shown).
- the wooden carrier 6 consists of a laminated veneer lumber, which improves the stability.
