本発明の乳化組成物は、前記添加剤を添加したものである。
本発明の化粧料は、前記添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である。
本発明の潤滑剤は、前記添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である。
本発明の添加剤は、目的とする組成物、特に乳化組成物を製造する際に、その任意の工程で配合される添加剤を主な対象としている。本発明の添加剤は、成分(A)及び(B)を配合したものである。本発明において成分(A)及び(B)を「配合した」とは、最終的に添加剤を調製するまでに成分(A)及び(B)を配合したことを包含し、成分(A)及び(B)を出発原料として成分(A)と(B)で形成される塩を合成し、当該塩を添加剤とした場合、及び当該塩を必要に応じて水等のその他の成分と混合して添加剤とした場合を包含する。本発明の添加剤は、成分(A)と(B)のみからなる混合物(これらの塩である場合を含む。)であってもよく、成分(A)と(B)又はそれらの塩以外の成分、例えば水を含む組成物であってもよい。
直鎖状のヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基1個当たりの水酸基の数は、1~8が好ましく、1~6がより好ましく、1~3が更に好ましい。
本明細書において有機基は、炭素原子を必須とし、その他に水素原子、酸素原子、窒素原子、硫黄原子、リン原子、及びハロゲン原子から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含んでもよい。有機基に含まれる原子団は、特に限定されないが、例えば、炭化水素基、複素環基、及び後記[置換基]の欄に記載の置換基等が挙げられる。例えば、後記[置換基]の欄に記載の置換基によって炭化水素部位が中断されるか、置換基を基端に含むか、あるいは置換基で水素原子が置換される場合を包含する。
有機基における炭素数は、特に限定されないが、例えば、1~22、1~18、1~12、1~8、あるいは1~6である。

上記置換基としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、炭化水素基、酸素含有基、窒素含有基、硫黄含有基、リン含有基、ハロゲン等が挙げられる。置換基には、これらの置換基が結合した基も含まれる。
また別の好ましい態様としては、窒素原子に水酸基を1~3個有する分岐鎖状の脂肪族炭化水素基が1個結合し、それ以外は水素原子が結合したアミン化合物が挙げられる。また別の好ましい態様としては、窒素原子に水酸基を1~3個有する炭素数3~5の分岐鎖状の脂肪族炭化水素基が1個結合し、それ以外は水素原子が結合したアミン化合物が挙げられる。
また別の好ましい態様としては、1分子中に3個の水酸基を有し、窒素原子にヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基を1~3個有し、それ以外は水素原子が結合したアミン化合物が挙げられる。
また別の好ましい態様としては、R1が水酸基を1~3個有し、炭化水素部位が分岐鎖状で炭素数3~5のヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基であり、全てのR2が水素原子であり、mが1の整数であるものが挙げられる。
本発明の乳化組成物は、以上に説明した本発明の添加剤を添加したものである。
油剤としては、例えば、上記に例示したものが挙げられる。
本発明の化粧料は、本発明の添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である。乳化組成物の形態は、特に限定されないが、例えば、油中水型(W/O型)乳化組成物、水中油型(O/W型)乳化組成物、複合型エマルション(W/O/W型、O/W/O型)等が挙げられ、乳化組成物の安定性に優れ、化粧料用途においては、皮膚、毛髪上での伸びやすさ、しっとり感、肌なじみに優れ有用である。特に、W/O型、O/W型において、それらの効果が高い。
本発明の潤滑剤は、本発明の添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である。乳化組成物の形態は、特に限定されないが、例えば、油中水型(W/O型)乳化組成物、水中油型(O/W型)乳化組成物、複合型エマルション(W/O/W型、O/W/O型)等が挙げられ、乳化組成物の安定性に優れ、潤滑剤用途においては、金属間の動摩擦を低減する効果を有する。特に、W/O型、O/W型において、それらの中でも、W/O型において、それらの効果が高い。
表1~28に示す添加剤1~17、28、29、31、32は、表に示す成分(A)及び(B)を表に示す配合モル比で水又はアルコール溶媒中で混合し、その後溶媒を除去して作成し、25℃で液体であることを確認した。

実施例1~16、比較例1~11の組成物を調製した。表1A,B、表2A,B、表3A,Bに記載した組成比で、本発明の成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した添加剤、油剤を80℃で混合、撹拌した後、水を添加し、5分間加熱撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。

評価2は、得られた組成物を50℃に調整された恒温槽に14日間静置し、乳化状態の変化について下記の基準で評価した。

実施例17~30、比較例12~27の組成物を調製した。表4A、4B、5A、5Bに記載した組成比で、本発明の成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した添加剤、油剤、界面活性剤を80℃で混合、撹拌した後、水を添加し、5分間加熱撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。
得られた乳化組成物について、上記1.と同様に乳化状態、乳化安定性を確認した。
表6、7記載の組成比、上記1.と同様の処方で得られた実施例31~44、比較例28~31の乳化組成物を一定量肌に塗布し、塗布時の伸びやすさ、しっとり感、肌なじみについて評価を行った。
上記1.と同様に調製した実施例47~60、比較例32~36の乳化組成物を、上記3.と同様な基準で使用感を評価した。
実施例61~74、比較例37~40の組成物を調製した。表11、12に記載した組成比で、本発明の成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した添加剤、油剤を80℃で混合、撹拌した後、水を添加し、5分間加熱撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。得られた乳化組成物の乳化状態は色素法によりW/O型であると判断した。
実施例75~88、比較例41~44の組成物を調製した。表13、14に記載した組成比で、本発明の成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した添加剤、油剤、界面活性剤を80℃で混合、撹拌した後、水を添加し、5分間加熱撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。得られた乳化組成物の乳化状態は色素法によりW/O型であると判断した。
表15、16に記載した組成比、上記5と同様の処方で調製した実施例89~102、比較例45~48の組成物を上記3.と同様な基準で使用感を評価した。
表17、18に記載した組成比、上記6と同様の処方で調製した実施例103~116、比較例49~52の組成物を上記3.と同様な基準で使用感を評価した。
9-1.組成物評価
実施例117~124、141~148、比較例53、55~58の組成物を調製した。表19A、19B、19C、20A、20B、20Cに記載した乳化組成物組成比(1)~(3)で、成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した本発明の添加剤、水、油剤を混合、3時間室温にて撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。
<評価基準>
◎:30日間で相分離なし
〇:14日間で相分離
×:7日間で相分離
上記9-1.で調製した実施例117~124、141~148、比較例53、55~58の組成物の動摩擦係数を、振子型油性摩擦試験機(神鋼造機株式会社)を用いて測定した。
10-1.組成物評価
実施例125~132、比較例54の組成物を調製した。表21A、21B、22A、22Bに記載した乳化組成物組成比(1)~(3)で、成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した本発明の添加剤、水、油剤、界面活性剤を混合、3時間室温にて撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。
得られた乳化組成物は、電気伝導度を測定した結果、電気伝導度が低く、連続相が油相であり、得られた乳化組成物はW/O型乳化物と判断した。
上記組成物評価で調製した実施例125~132、比較例54の組成物の動摩擦係数を、振子型油性摩擦試験機(神鋼造機株式会社)を用いて測定した。
表23では表19A、B~22A、Bで使用した組成物中の成分(A)及び(B)の組成比検討を行った。実施例133、134の結果より、実施例117、121よりも配合量が少ない5質量%でも乳化組成物が得られることが確認できたことから、本発明の添加剤が、表23の系においても高い界面活性(乳化)効果を示すことが示唆された。
切削油剤(JIS K 2241)に記載の試験方法に準じて腐食性を評価した。10mLの試験管にJIS G 3141規定のSPCCの鋼板(10mm×10mm×1mm)、JIS H 3100規定のC1100Pの銅板(10mm×10mm×1mm)、JIS H 4000規定のA1050Pのアルミニウム板(10mm×10mm×1mm)をそれぞれ試験管に入れ、各試験管に上記9-1.と同様に調製した添加剤1~3、8~10を配合した組成物(実施例135~140)を金属片が浸漬する3gを添加し、室温(25℃)で48時間放置した。その後、金属片をJISで規定された方法で洗浄し、未試験の各金属片と目視で比較して、変色の有無を評価した。
表24、25の結果より、実施例135~140は、鋼、銅、アルミニウムのいずれの金属片との変色はなく、金属腐食性を示さないことを確認された。
石油製品-潤滑油-熱安定度試験方法(JIS K 2540)記載の試験方法を参考にして行った。30mLの試験管に、上記9-1.と同サンプル(実施例135~140)をそれぞれ20g加え、170℃の恒温槽で12時間放置した。その後、目視で析出物の有無を確認し、熱安定性を評価した(表24、25)。
14-1.組成物評価
実施例149~154、比較例58~61の組成物を調製した。表26A、26B、26C、27A、27B、27C、28A、28B、28Cに記載した乳化組成物組成比(1)~(3)で、成分(A)、成分(B)、溶媒を混合、溶媒留去した本発明の添加剤、水、油剤、界面活性剤を混合、3時間室温にて撹拌させ、乳化組成物を得た。
また、表26A、26B、26C、27A、27B、27C、28A、28B、28Cに記載した組成比となるように、成分(A)、成分(B)を本発明の添加剤として別々に、水、油剤に混合、室温で3時間撹拌しても、同様な乳化組成物を得た。
表26A、26B、26C、27A、27B、27C、28A、28B、28Cの結果より、本発明の実施例149~154では、比較例58~61と比較して、乳化組成物が得られることが確認できた。
上記組成物評価で調製した実施例149~154、比較例58~61の組成物の動摩擦係数を、振子型油性摩擦試験機(神鋼造機株式会社)を用いて測定した。
また、成分(A)、成分(B)の構造と動摩擦係数との相関は、上記9-2.の成分(A)、成分(B)の構造と界面活性(乳化)効果との相関と同様の傾向を示した。
Claims (25)
- 次の成分(A)及び(B)を配合した、界面を活性にするための添加剤。
(A)水酸基を1個以上有し、それ以外の酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基を有するアミンもしくはアンモニウム化合物
(B)炭素数8~22の不飽和もしくは分岐鎖状の脂肪酸もしくはその塩 - 前記成分(A)が、水酸基を1個以上有し、それ以外の酸素原子を含んでいてもよい分岐鎖状のヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基を有するアミンもしくはアンモニウム化合物である請求項1に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記成分(A)は、下記式(I)又は(II):
で表される請求項1又は2に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。 - 前記式(I)において、全てのR2が水素原子であり、前記式(II)において、全てのR4が水素原子である請求項3に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(I)及び(II)において、ヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基は、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22で該炭化水素部位が酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項3又は4に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(I)において、R1のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1~3個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22で該炭化水素部位が酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基であり、
前記式(II)において、R3のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1~3個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22で該炭化水素部位が酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項3~5のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。 - 前記式(I)において、R1のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22の直鎖状のヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基であり、
前記式(II)において、R3のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22の直鎖状のヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項3~6のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。 - 前記式(I)において、R1のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個以上有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数3~12の分岐鎖状のヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基であり、
前記式(II)において、R3のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個以上有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数3~12の分岐鎖状のヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基である、請求項3~6のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。 - 前記式(II)において、X-が水酸化物イオンである請求項3~8のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記成分(A)は、前記式(I)で表される請求項3~9のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の成分(B)のカチオン性残基を有していてもよい請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の成分(A)由来のカチオンと、前記成分(B)のアニオン性残基に由来するアニオンが形成する有機アンモニウム塩を含む界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記カチオンがアンモニウムカチオンである請求項11に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)において、全てのR6が水素原子である請求項13に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)において、ヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基は、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22で該炭化水素部位が酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項13又は14に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)において、R5のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1~3個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22で該炭化水素部位が酸素原子を含んでいてもよいヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項13~15のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)において、R5のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数1~22の直鎖状のヒドロキシ飽和脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項13~16のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)において、R5のうち少なくとも1つが、水酸基を1個以上有し、炭化水素部位が炭素数3~12の分岐鎖状のヒドロキシ脂肪族炭化水素基である請求項13~16のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記式(III)で表されるカチオンのR6のうち少なくとも1つが水素原子の場合、その水素原子に対応するプロトンが前記成分(B)に由来する請求項13~18のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記成分(B)は、炭素数8~22の不飽和脂肪酸もしくはその塩である請求項1~19のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記成分(B)は、炭素数8~22の分岐鎖状の飽和脂肪酸もしくはその塩である請求項1~19のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 前記成分(A)と(B)との混合物又は(A)と(B)との塩は、無水物及び/又は水和物が25℃で液体である請求項1~21のいずれか一項に記載の界面を活性にするための添加剤。
- 請求項1~22のいずれか一項に記載の添加剤を添加した乳化組成物。
- 請求項1~23のいずれか一項に記載の添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である化粧料。
- 請求項1~23のいずれか一項に記載の添加剤を添加した乳化組成物である潤滑剤。
