Definitions
- the present invention relates to a performance measurement diagnostic device that diagnoses the performance of working machines.
- Patent Document 1 data during normal driving is generated by using driving data accumulated in vehicles such as ordinary automobiles that are routinely driven in the city when trouble occurs. It discloses how to This method sequentially accumulates and stores time-series data obtained from a large number of vehicles to generate a numerical vector. Then, the numerical vectors are clustered and classified into a plurality of clusters according to their features, and in each of the plurality of clusters, for each operating parameter, a range of values with a high appearance frequency is obtained for the value of the parameter. A range of values with a high appearance frequency is stored as a normal value range of the operating parameter, and the normal value range is used as a reference value for fault diagnosis.
- Patent Document 1 the threshold for determining the range of values with high appearance frequency is set in advance according to the model of the machine and stored in the diagnostic device. In other words, it is difficult for the technique described in the document to perform performance diagnosis in consideration of individual machine differences.
- Patent Document 2 detects state data of a vehicle such as an automobile that is running under predetermined road conditions, and collects state data for a predetermined period or distance. Once accumulated, a normal condition model of the condition data under predetermined road conditions is created from the vehicle condition data. After creating the normal state model, when the vehicle travels under predetermined road conditions, it is possible to detect failures during travel by comparing the acquired vehicle state data with the normal state model.
- Patent Literatures 1 and 2 In addition to working in various environments and sites, work machines generally work with various loads even at the same site. Although the techniques described in Patent Literatures 1 and 2 can consider individual differences in machines, they do not consider the effects of site characteristics and load amount.
- the performance diagnosis device diagnoses performance degradation of the work machine using a reference performance model generated for each combination of the type of operation performed by the work machine, the amount of load, the content of the operation, and the site characteristics.
- the performance diagnosis device According to the performance diagnosis device according to the present invention, it is possible to accurately diagnose deterioration in the performance of working machines that work at various sites and under various loads.

- FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a performance diagnostic device 1 according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
- the performance diagnosis device 1 is a device for diagnosing performance degradation of the work machine 100 based on load information, operation information, site characteristics, and the like of the work machine 100 .
- the performance diagnostic device 1 is assumed to be arranged inside the working machine 100 .
- the performance diagnostic device 1 includes a work motion classification unit 11, a work data acquisition unit 12, a work time measurement unit 13, a work data accumulation unit 14, a reference performance model creation unit 15, and a performance diagnosis unit 16.
- the work motion classification unit 11 determines and classifies machine motions. For example, by recognizing the excavation, earth dumping, and other actions of the excavator from the images captured by an onboard camera installed on the excavator, the actions can be discriminated and classified.
- sensor data describing the result of detection of the physical state of work machine 100 by a sensor included in work machine 100 is acquired from the controller of work machine 100, and using the sensor data, work machine 100 performs You may specify the action that was performed.
- the sensor data can be acquired in the form of CAN (Control Area Network) data flowing through the network inside the work machine 100, for example.
- the work motion classification unit 11 identifies the type of motion through the classification process.
- the work data acquisition unit 12 is electrically connected to the work movement classification unit 11, and acquires work data necessary for measuring the duration of the movement according to the movement determined by the work movement classification unit 11, Output to the work time measurement unit 13 .
- the work data acquisition unit 12 can retroactively acquire past work data representing, for example, load information and operation details of the work machine 100 . For example, by always acquiring and storing work data related to assumed motions in chronological order, it is possible to acquire work data at any time in the past.
- the load amount of the work machine 100 includes the following. For example, since the pressure value of a hydraulic device that operates an operating part by hydraulic pressure represents the load applied to the operating part, the hydraulic pressure can be used as an indicator of the amount of load. In addition, any parameter representing the work load of work machine 100 can be used as an indicator of the amount of load.
- the physical characteristics of the site where the work machine 100 operates include the following.
- the three-dimensional shape of the place where work machine 100 works represents the physical characteristics of the work site.
- the type of environment in which the work machine is operating also affects work efficiency. Therefore, geological characteristics and operating environment information are also used as physical characteristics.
- any parameter that affects the work efficiency of work machine 100 can be used as the physical property of the site. A technique for acquiring site characteristics will be described later.
- the work time measurement unit 13 measures the duration of the motion by specifying the start timing and end timing of the motion classified by the work motion classification unit 11 from the work data acquired from the work data acquisition unit 12 .
- the start timing and end timing of the excavation operation can be recognized by image processing from an image of the excavation operation, thereby measuring the duration of the excavation operation.
- the work time measurement unit 13 is electrically connected to the work data accumulation unit 14 and outputs the measured time to the work data accumulation unit 14 .
- the work data accumulation unit 14 classifies the work data acquired from the work data acquisition unit 12 and the operation duration time measured by the work time measurement unit 13 into a predetermined period or a predetermined operation time by the work operation classification unit 11. Accumulate time-series data for each combination of operation type/load amount/operation content/site characteristics.
- the standard performance model creation unit 15 creates a standard performance model from the data accumulated in the work data accumulation unit 14.
- the created reference performance model is stored, for example, in the same storage device as the work data, for each combination of motion type/load amount/motion details/site characteristics classified by the work motion classification unit 11 .
- the performance diagnosis unit 16 uses the work data of the motions classified by the work motion classification unit 11 to determine the same work conditions (combination of motion classification/load amount/operation details/site characteristics) stored in the work data accumulation unit 14. (similar or similar) to a reference performance model to diagnose whether the current performance of work machine 100 has degraded below the reference value.
- the diagnosis result may be output as an alarm for the work machine 100, or may be notified to the concerned parties or the like via the network.
- the performance diagnosis unit 16 further performs regression analysis on the work data accumulated in the work data accumulation unit 14 for a predetermined period of time in the past, and compares the results with the reference performance model. Thus, it is possible to predict whether or not there is a possibility that the performance of work machine 100 after a predetermined period of time from now will drop below the reference value after the predetermined period of time.
- FIGS. 2A and 2B are flowcharts for explaining the procedure for diagnosing the performance of the work machine 100 by the performance diagnosis device 1.
- FIG. For convenience of description, one flow chart is divided into two drawings, which are connected by the symbol "A" in the drawing. Each step of FIGS. 2A and 2B will be described below.
- the work motion classification unit 11 selects the motion type (diagnosis target motion) of the work machine 100 to be diagnosed. At this time, in addition to the type of motion, basic motion contents assumed for the motion (for example, in the case of a moving motion, work machine 100 moves straight, etc.) are set in advance. The work motion classification unit 11 holds the selected motion type and motion content as assumed work.
- the work motion classification unit 11 identifies the motion type by determining the motion of the work machine 100 through image recognition using camera images, pattern matching using CAN data, or the like.
- motion types include, for example, pivoting motion, arm pushing motion, digging motion, moving motion, and the like.
- the work motion classification unit 11 checks whether or not the motion determined in S202 is assumed in the diagnosis target motion set in S201 (that is, whether or not it is the assumed work). If the determined motion is the motion to be diagnosed, the process proceeds to S204 (S203: Yes). Otherwise, the process returns to step S202 (S203: NO).
- the work data acquisition unit 12 acquires the work data of the operation set in S201 from the machine via CAN communication, for example.
- the work data may always be acquired and stored in real time, and the latest work data sufficiently long with respect to the expected value of the operation time may be acquired retroactively from the time when the operation ended.
- the work data acquired in this step includes, for example, data representing the load amount of the motion, data representing the content of the motion, and the like.
- An example of the load amount is the discharge pressure of a hydraulic pump that drives the work machine.
- Examples of the content of the motion include, for example, the rotation speed of the wheels in the case of the motion in which the work machine moves.
- the work data acquisition unit 12 further receives the motion type identified by the work motion classification unit 11 . Data describing this motion type may also be handled as part of the work data.
- a parameter representing the physical characteristics of the environment in which the work implement is placed may also be acquired in order to carry out the work. For example, it is possible to acquire the shape of the place where the work machine is placed, the road surface condition, etc. from an image of the surroundings of the work machine. Alternatively, when performing an excavation operation, the hardness of the road surface may be obtained from the driving force (eg, hydraulic pressure) required to drive the bucket. Alternatively, data describing these parameters may be obtained via an appropriate interface. This physical property data may be treated as part of the work data.
- the work time measurement unit 13 detects the start timing and end timing of the action from the input work data, thereby calculating the work duration time of the action (the time from the start to the end of the action).
- the work data accumulation unit 14 accumulates in the database the work data obtained in S204 and the work duration time calculated in S205 for each determined motion.
- Fig. 2A Step S207
- the performance diagnostic device 1 confirms whether or not data for a certain period of time or a certain operating time has been accumulated. If data has not yet been accumulated (207: NO), the process returns to S204. If the data has been accumulated (S207: Yes), the process proceeds to S208.
- the reference performance model creation unit 15 confirms whether or not a reference performance model for the operation determined in S202 has been created (S208). If not created (S208: No), a reference performance model is created for the determined motion and stored in the database (S209). If it has been created (S208: YES), the performance diagnosis unit 16 uses the determined reference performance model of the operation to interpolate the reference time in the acquired work data as necessary (S210).
- the reference performance model creation unit 15 creates a reference performance model for each of the following combinations: (a) operation type of the work machine; (b) load amount of the operation of the work machine; (c) details of the operation of the work machine. (d) physical property parameters of the environment in which the work machine is located;
- a baseline performance model may discretely describe the baseline performance.
- the values between discrete values have to be interpolated, for example by linear interpolation. This step is for carrying out this interpolation processing.
- the performance diagnosis unit 16 compares the operating time measured in S205 with the reference value calculated in S210 and confirms whether or not the difference is greater than or equal to a threshold value (S211). If the operating time is more than the threshold value away from the reference value (S211: Yes), the diagnosis result of the degree of performance deterioration of work machine 100 is output according to the degree of separation (step S212). If not (S211: No), calculate a regression model of data for a predetermined period in the past in the determined motion and the acquired work data, and use the regression model to predict the motion time after the predetermined period of time for the motion ( S213).
- the performance diagnosis unit 16 diagnoses that the larger the difference between the measured operating time and the reference performance, the larger the performance degradation.
- the performance diagnosis result may be represented by the difference itself, or may be represented by a parameter obtained by performing some operation on the difference. The same applies to S215.
- the performance diagnosis unit 16 confirms whether or not the predicted operation time after the predetermined period is different from the calculated reference value by a threshold value or more (S214). If the predicted operation time after the predetermined period has deviated from the reference value by a threshold value or more (S214: YES), a predictive diagnostic result of the degree of performance deterioration of work machine 100 is output according to the degree of deviation (S215). Otherwise, this flow chart ends (S214: NO).
- the performance diagnostic apparatus 1 includes (a) type of operation of the work machine; (b) amount of load of the operation of the work machine; (c) content of the operation of the work machine; A reference performance model is created for each combination of the physical property parameters of the environment in which it is used, and whether or not the operation is normal is determined by comparing the reference performance obtained by referring to the reference performance model and the operation duration. Diagnose.
- the performance diagnosis can be performed in consideration of the individual environment and load amount in which the work machine is placed, so that the diagnosis accuracy can be improved as compared with the conventional performance diagnosis.
- the performance diagnostic device 1 is provided inside the working machine 100 . That is, work machine 100 can self-diagnose its own performance. As a result, work machine 100 can automatically perform self-diagnosis without relying on user's operation.

- the configuration of the performance diagnostic device 1 in this embodiment is the same as in the first embodiment, but unlike the first embodiment, the performance diagnostic device 1 is configured inside a mobile terminal 110 (for example, a smart phone).
- Portable terminal 110 communicates with work machine 100 via communication unit 112 to acquire CAN data (including sensor data describing sensor detection results and the like) flowing through the network inside work machine 100 .
- the work motion classification unit 11 can use the CAN data to determine the motion type of the work machine 100 or measure the duration of the motion.
- the mobile terminal 110 is attached to the working machine 100, and the acceleration sensor 111 and other sensors incorporated in the mobile terminal 110 are used to measure the physical motion such as the vibration caused by the operation of the working machine 100.
- the work motion classification unit 11 stores vibration patterns generated by the motion of the work machine 100 in advance for each motion type, and matches the vibration patterns measured by the sensor with the vibration patterns stored in advance. , motion type and motion duration can be identified.
- the performance diagnostic device 1 can collect data necessary for creating a reference performance model by a worker or the like using the portable terminal 110 on a regular basis.
