Definitions
- the present invention relates to a refrigerator.
- a refrigerator is a home appliance that can store food at a low temperature in an internal storage space that is shielded by a refrigerator door.
- the refrigerator is configured to store the stored food in an optimal state by cooling the inside of the storage space using cold air generated through heat exchange with a refrigerant circulating in a refrigeration cycle.
- the refrigerator may be equipped with an air purification filter or the like to remove harmful bacteria contained in the cold air in the refrigerating compartment or the freezing compartment.
- the air purification filter may include a sterilizing component suitable for the type, size, or biological characteristics of the object to be removed.
- a filter assembly has been proposed in which a plurality of filters are disposed in an overlapping state for sterilization and deodorization inside a storage room, and biological and chemical components including various sterilizing components are applied to the filters.
- a sterilization apparatus equipped with a light source emitting ultraviolet rays and a photocatalytic filter that exhibits a sterilization function by using ultraviolet rays of a specific wavelength band emitted from the light source as a catalyst have been proposed.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator with improved hygiene in the refrigerator by providing a filter device that exhibits deodorizing and antibacterial functions on a passage for circulating air in the refrigerator.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator with improved assembly workability and improved maintenance convenience by mounting a filter device on a grill plate.
- An embodiment of the present invention provides a filter device equipped with an LED module emitting visible light. Such a filter device is capable of filter regeneration through a photolysis reaction.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator equipped with a filter device that maintains deodorizing and antibacterial functions semi-permanently.
- a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that it is provided with a filter member having antibacterial and deodorizing functions, and a filter device including an LED module for irradiating visible light to the filter device.
- a refrigerator includes: a cabinet provided with a storage space; a grill pan assembly forming an inner surface of the storage space and having a flow path for guiding a flow of cold air generated by the evaporator and a discharge port for discharging cold air into the storage space; and a filter device mounted on the grill pan assembly, wherein the filter device includes a front portion exposed on the front surface of the grill pan assembly, a front portion extending rearward from the front portion, and positioned inside the flow path, the filter member receiving and an LED module emitting visible light to the frame unit and the filter member, wherein the filter member includes a photocatalyst for removing contaminants or bacteria adsorbed on the filter member in response to the visible light emitted from the LED module characterized in that
- One end of the LED module is fixed to a fixing part extending downward from the rear surface of the frame part, and the other end of the LED module is mounted in an opening formed in the grill pan assembly, and the LED module is spaced apart from the filter member. It is possible to place
- the grill pan assembly includes a grill plate that forms a rear surface of the storage space and has the discharge port formed therein, and the flow path includes a discharge flow path for discharging cold air into the storage space, and cool air inside the storage space. It is possible to include a suction passage for suctioning.
- a mounting portion recessed to accommodate the front portion may be formed on the front surface of the grill plate, and the frame portion may extend from the front portion in a direction crossing the cold air flow direction of the suction passage.
- a mounting hole through which the frame part passes, an opening extending from the lower end of the mounting hole through which the fixing part passes, and a seating part on which the other end of the LED module is seated may be formed at the lower end of the opening part.
- the grill pan assembly may include a guide part extending rearward from the mounting hole so as to be in contact with a portion of both side surfaces of the frame part and guiding a position where the frame part is mounted.
- a length of the guide portion protruding from the grill pan assembly may be shorter than a length of the seating portion protruding from the grill pan assembly.
- the lower surface of the seating part may include a protrusion that protrudes upward and contacts the lower surface of the LED module.
- the frame part is formed of a material capable of elastic deformation, and it is possible to include cutouts formed by being cut in the vertical direction from the top or the bottom on both sides of the frame part.
- the frame portion may include a restraining portion protruding from the upper end or the lower end in an inward direction in which the filter member is accommodated, and constraining the filter member.
- the filter member is a photocatalyst comprising a phosphate-based glass containing a metal ion selected from silver (Ag), copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), and zinc (Zn); and a metal oxide that reacts to visible light; It is possible that the filter is coated.
- the metal oxide may be at least one selected from titanium oxide, tungsten oxide, zinc oxide, niobium oxide, and combinations thereof.
- the metal oxide may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 1% by weight based on 100% by weight of the entire filter member.
- the phosphate-based glass may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 1% by weight based on 100% by weight of the total filter member.
- the LED module may include an LED element emitting visible light having a wavelength of 400 nm to 480 nm.
- the refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention has the advantage of improving assembly workability by allowing the filter device to be mounted through the front of the grill pan assembly.
- the filter device does not constitute a separate flow path, but may be inserted from the front surface of the grill pan assembly and disposed on the cold air flow path. Accordingly, there is an advantage in that productivity can be improved and manufacturing cost can be reduced.
- a fixing portion extending downwardly is formed on the filter case.
- One end of the LED module is mounted on the fixing part, and the other end of the LED module is mounted on the opening of the grill pan assembly. It is possible to maintain a sufficient separation distance between the filter member accommodated in the filter case and the LED module. Accordingly, there is an advantage that the visible light emitted from the LED module can be evenly irradiated to the filter member.
- the filter device accommodated in the filter device of the present invention includes a filter member manufactured by immersing a base filter having a deodorizing function in a coating solution made of a photocatalyst.
- the photocatalyst may include a phosphate-based glass containing metal ions exhibiting antibacterial properties, and a metal oxide. Therefore, there is an advantage in that the deodorizing function as well as the antibacterial property is exhibited.
- the photocatalyst may react with visible light emitted from the LED module to decompose contaminants such as odor-causing substances and bacteria adsorbed in the filter member. That is, the filter member can be regenerated. Accordingly, the filter member can be used semi-permanently, and there is an advantage that replacement of the filter member is not required.
