- Raw silk is an example of fibers composed of optically active polypeptides. The raw silk is spirally wound around the tinsel cord without gaps so that the cord is not exposed.
- the raw silk wound around the tinsel wire is referred to as a "raw silk layer”.
- the copper foil ribbon is spirally wound around the raw silk wound on the tinsel wire without gaps so that the raw silk is not exposed.
- the copper foil ribbon wound around the raw silk wound on the tinsel wire is referred to as a "copper foil ribbon layer”.
- the tinsel wire, raw silk layer, and copper foil ribbon layer are bonded with a cyanoacrylate adhesive. In other words, the tinsel, the raw silk layer, and the copper foil ribbon layer are mechanically integrated.
- the desired length is adjusted according to the form of use. It is necessary to cut the piezoelectric base material into pieces and attach terminals to the piezoelectric base material. It is necessary to prepare for terminal attachment as processing prior to performing this terminal attachment. In preparation for terminal attachment, the raw silk layer and the copper foil ribbon layer are stripped from both ends of the piezoelectric substrate to expose the tinsel wire.
- the copper foil ribbon layer is peeled off from the raw silk layer, and the raw silk layer of an appropriate length (usually about several millimeters) is removed for taking out the tinsel wire, thereby taking out the tinsel wire.
