(比較例1)
比較例1の構造は、従来例であって、ファスナーテープは、ファスナーテープ本体と、ファスナーテープ本体の少なくとも一方の主面に接着された補強テープとを備える。補強テープは、厚さ120μmのナイロンエラストマーフィルム(ATOCHEM社製、曲げ弾性率7,500kg/cm2)の裏面にポリエステル系アンカーコート剤を2~3μmの厚さとなるように塗布し、さらに厚さ60μmのポリエステル系ホットメルト接着層(東洋紡績(株)製、バイロンGM900)をラミネートして作製した。比較例1では、ファスナーテープ本体に補強テープを接着した際に、ファスナーテープの主面に補強テープの接着層(接着剤)が含浸する。比較例1の含浸厚みdは接着層が含浸したものであるので、後述の実験例1~6とは必ずしも同等に比較できる含浸厚みではないことに注意されたい。
実施例1の構造は、上記実施形態に係るファスナーテープ10aと実質的に同様の形状である。ファスナーテープは、ファスナーテープ本体と、ファスナーテープ本体の少なくとも一方の主面に設けられた補強部とを備える。補強部は、例えばポリプロピレン系樹脂を含む単層であり、補強シートをヒーターにて200℃で3秒加熱することにより、ファスナーテープ本体に含浸固化されている。表1に示す通り、補強シート厚みDを140μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を中として加熱することで溶着し、ファスナーテープを作製した。具体的には、ファスナーテープ本体に含浸した補強部を形成し、自然冷却させることで補強部を固化させた。
補強シート厚みDを120μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を中として加熱することで溶着しファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例1と同様である。
補強シート厚みDを140μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を大として加熱することで溶着しファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例1と同様である。
補強シート厚みDを120μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を大として加熱することで溶着しファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例1と同様である。
補強シート厚みDを140μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を小として加熱することで溶着しファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例1と同様である。
補強シート厚みDを120μmとして、溶着の際にファスナーテープ本体及び補強シートとヒーターとのクリアランス距離を小として加熱することで溶着しファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例1と同様である。
表1によれば、本発明に従って作製された各実施例は、単層構造を有する補強部を採用しながら、従来技術の剥がれやすさを基準とする場合、それと同程度以上の剥がれやすさを実現していることが分かった。すなわち、アンカーコート剤を使用することなく、簡便に、かつ、補強部とファスナーテープ本体との間の剥がれやすさが所定の基準を満たしているファスナーテープを提供することができた。これは、ファスナーテープ本体に補強部を含浸した上で固化させているので、補強部がファスナーテープ本体の繊維の間に入り込み、アンカー効果によってファスナーテープの剥がれやすさが改善したものと考えられる。
架橋による効果を比較するために、架橋剤を添加した実施例7~12と、架橋剤を添加していない実施例13との剥離強度を比較した。
実施例7の構造は、上記実施形態に係るファスナーテープ10aと実質的に同様の形状である。ファスナーテープは、ファスナーテープ本体と、ファスナーテープ本体の少なくとも一方の主面に設けられた補強部とを備える。補強部は、例えばポリプロピレン系樹脂を含む単層であり、補強シートをヒーターにて200℃で3秒加熱することにより、ファスナーテープ本体に含浸固化されている。さらに、補強部とファスナーテープ本体とが架橋剤により架橋されている。表2に示す通り、ファスナーテープ本体をポリエチレンテレフタレート100重量部とし、補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン94重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン6重量部とし、架橋剤として環状カルボジイミド2重量部を添加して、ファスナーテープを作製した。なお、表2に示される重量部は、補強シート組成を100重量部とし、架橋剤は当該補強シート組成100重量部に対してさらに添加するものとして示される。
補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン97重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン3重量部とし、架橋剤として直鎖カルボジイミド6重量部を添加してファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例7と同様である。
補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン98.5重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン1.5重量部とし、架橋剤として環状カルボジイミド0.5重量部を添加してファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例7と同様である。
補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン98重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン2重量部とし、架橋剤として直鎖カルボジイミド4重量部を添加してファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例7と同様である。
補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン91重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン9重量部とし、架橋剤として環状カルボジイミド3重量部を添加してファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例7と同様である。
補強部となる補強シート組成を100重量部とした場合に、ポリプロピレン96重量部、マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン4重量部とし、架橋剤として直鎖カルボジイミド8重量部を添加してファスナーテープを作製したこと以外は、実施例7と同様である。

- ファスナーテープ本体と、前記ファスナーテープ本体の少なくとも一方の主面に設けられた補強部とを備え、
前記補強部は、ポリプロピレン系樹脂を含む単層であり、前記ファスナーテープ本体に含浸固化されていることを特徴とする、
ファスナーテープ。 - 前記補強部と前記ファスナーテープ本体とが架橋されている、請求項1に記載のファスナーテープ。
- 前記ファスナーテープ本体がポリエチレンテレフタレートを含み、前記補強部と前記ファスナーテープ本体とがカルボジイミドにより架橋されている、請求項2に記載のファスナーテープ。
- 前記補強部と前記ファスナーテープ本体とが環状カルボジイミドにより架橋されている、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のファスナーテープ。
- 前記補強部において、前記ファスナーテープ本体に含浸固化されている部分の厚みdが、20~115μmである、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のファスナーテープ。
- 前記補強部において、前記ファスナーテープ本体に含浸固化されている部分の厚みdと、前記補強部となる材料である補強シートの厚みDとの比d/Dが、0.14~0.83である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のファスナーテープ。
- さらに、前記補強部の上に、開離嵌挿具を備える、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のファスナーテープ。
