Abstract
Description
酸化物系のリチウムイオン伝導体としては、例えば、特開2016-213181(特許文献1)には、酸化物系のリチウムイオン伝導体が記載されている。
かくして、本発明によれば、式(Li2-xO1-xAx)1-yZy(I)(式中、AはF、Cl、Br及びIから選択される1以上の原子であり、xは0.1≦x≦0.7を満たし、Zは網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物又は中間酸化物であり、yは0≦y≦0.25を満たす)で表される非晶質イオン伝導体が提供される。
また、本発明によれば、上記非晶質イオン伝導体からなる第1相と、上記式で表される化学組成を有する結晶質イオン伝導体からなる第2相とを有するイオン伝導複合体が提供される。
更に、本発明によれば、上記非晶質イオン伝導体又は上記イオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む電極活物質が提供される。
更に、本発明によれば、上記非晶質イオン伝導体又は上記イオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む固体電解質が提供される。
更に、本発明によれば、上記電極を正極又は負極として含む二次電池が提供される。
更に、本発明によれば、酸化リチウムLi2Oと、LiA(式中、Aは上記式(I)中のAと同義)と、任意に1以上の酸化物Z(Zは上記式(I)中のZと同義)とをメカノケミカル処理する工程を含む、上記非晶質イオン伝導体又は上記イオン伝導複合体を製造する方法が提供される。
イオン伝導体には、結晶質のものと非晶質(アモルファス)のものとが存在する。ここでいう非晶質とは、当業者が一般的にアモルファスと認識するものと同じで、明確な結晶性を有しない状態を指す。例えば、CuKα線を用いたXRD(X線回折)において、ピークが確認されない状態、あるいはXRDの最小2θのピークが、1.0以上の半値幅(半値全幅)となる状態を指してもよい。

(式中、AはF、Cl、Br及びIから選択される1以上の原子であり、xは0.1≦x≦0.7を満たし、Zは網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物又は中間酸化物であり、yは0≦y≦0.25を満たす)

0.2≦y≦0.25のとき、Aは、好ましくはF、Cl及びBrからなる群、より好ましくはCl及びBrからなる群から選択され、より好ましくはBrである。
網目形成酸化物としては、例えばB2O3、SiO2、GeO2、P2O5、As2O5、Sb2O3、Bi2O3、P2O3、V2O3、V2O5、Ga2O3、Sb2O5、As2O3、Nb2O5等が挙げられる。網目修飾酸化物としては、例えば、K2O、Na2O、CaO、MgO、SrO又はBaO等が挙げられ、中間酸化物としては、Al2O3、BeO、ZnO、ZrO2、CdO、SnO、SnO2、PbO、TiO2、ThO2、Nb2O5又はTa2O5等が挙げられる。このうち、網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物または中間酸化物としては、Al2O3、B2O3、GeO2、P2O5、SiO2及びV2O3からなる群より選択される1以上の化合物であることが好ましく、Al2O3、GeO2、P2O5、SiO2及びV2O3からなる群より選択されることがより好ましく、Al2O3、SiO2及びV2O3からなる群より選択されることがより好ましい。Zは一種類でもよいし、複数選択されていてもよい。網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物又は中間酸化物を加える事でイオン伝導体のアモルファスをより安定化させることができる。
0.2≦y≦0.25のとき、Zは、好ましくはSiO2以外の網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物または中間酸化物であり、より好ましくはAl2O3、B2O3、GeO2、P2O5及びV2O3からなる群、より好ましくはAl2O3、GeO2、P2O5及びV2O3からなる群、より好ましくはAl2O3及びV2O3からなる群より選択される。また、0.18<y≦0.25のとき、好ましくは、ZはSiO2以外の網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物または中間酸化物であり、より好ましくはAl2O3、B2O3、GeO2、P2O5及びV2O3からなる群、より好ましくはAl2O3、GeO2、P2O5及びV2O3からなる群、より好ましくはAl2O3及びV2O3からなる群より選択される。

本発明は、式(I)で表される非晶質イオン伝導体からなる第1相と、式(I)で表される化学組成を有する結晶質イオン伝導体からなる第2相とを有するイオン伝導複合体を提供する。
更に、本発明は、式(II)で表される非晶質イオン伝導体からなる第1相と、式(II)で表される化学組成を有する結晶質イオン伝導体からなる第2相とを有するイオン伝導複合体を提供する。
イオン伝導体については上述の通りである。イオン伝導複合体は第1相と第2相とを含んでいれば特に限定されない。イオン伝導複合体中の第1相の含有量は、例えば、50質量%以上、55質量%以上、60質量%以上、65質量%以上、68質量%以上、70質量%以上、72質量%以上、75質量%以上、80質量%以上、85質量%以上、90質量%以上、95質量%以上、99質量%以上とすることができ、この中でも、第1相がイオン伝導複合体の60質量%以上であることが好ましく、70質量%以上であることがより好ましい。イオン伝導複合体中の第2相の含有量は、例えば、50質量%未満、49質量%以下、48質量%以下、45質量%以下、40質量%以下、35質量%以下、30質量%以下、25質量%以下、20質量%以下、15質量%以下、10質量%以下、8質量%以下、6質量%以下、5質量%以下、4質量%以下、3質量%以下、2.5質量%以下、2質量%、1.5質量%以下、1質量%以下とすることができ、この中でも、第2相はイオン伝導複合体の40質量%以下であることが好ましく、30質量%以下であることがより好ましい。
イオン伝導複合体中の第1相の含有量は、例えば、RIR法(Reference Intensity Ratio法)を用いて、イオン伝導複合体を基準試料とともにX線回折に供し、その強度比から算出することができる。
イオン伝導複合体中の第1相と第2相は、それぞれが偏在していてもよいが、第2相が第1相中に分散していることが好ましい。
本発明は、Li2Oと、LiA(AはF、Cl、Br及びIから選択される1以上の原子)と、任意に1以上の酸化物Z(Zは上記式(I))中のZと同義)とを、上記式(I)で表される非晶質イオン伝導体が形成されるように反応させる工程を含む、非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体の製造方法を提供する。
前記反応工程としては、例えば、メカノケミカル処理工程が挙げられる。メカノケミカル処理工程は、湿式法であってもよいし、乾式法であってもよいが、乾式法が好ましい。
メカノケミカル処理の処理装置としては、機械的エネルギーを付与しつつ混合できるものであれば特に限定されず、例えばボールミル、ビーズミル、ジェットミル、振動ミル、ディスクミル、ターボミル、メカノフュージョンなどが使用できる。ボールミルは、大きな機械的エネルギーが得られるため好ましい。ボールミルの中でも、遊星型ボールミルは、ポットが自転回転すると共に、台盤が自転の向きと逆方向に公転回転するため、高い衝撃エネルギーを効率よく発生できるので、好ましい。メカノケミカル処理についての処理条件は、使用する処理装置に応じて適宜設定できる。例えば、遊星型ボールミルを使用する場合、例えば、ボールの直径4~10mm、50-600回転/分の回転速度、0.1-100時間の処理時間、1-100 kWh/原料1kgの条件が挙げられる。この内、処理産物は30時間以上であることが好ましく、50時間以上であることがより好ましい。
処理工程は、グローブボックスなどを用いて不活性雰囲気下(例えばアルゴン雰囲気下)で水分濃度が1000ppm以下、酸素濃度が1000 ppm以下の環境下で処理が行われることが好ましい。原料が結晶水を含む場合、予め熱処理しておくことが好ましい。
本発明は、本発明の非晶質イオン伝導体やイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む電極活物質を提供する。電極活物質は、本発明の非晶質イオン伝導体やイオン伝導複合体のみからなっていてもよいが、結着材、導電材、公知の固体電解質等を含んでいてもよい。
非晶質イオン伝導体やイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含むとは、電極活物質の全質量に対して非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体を60質量%以上含むことを指す。非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体の質量割合は、電極活物質の全質量に対して70質量%以上であることが好ましく、75質量%以上であることがより好ましく、80質量%以上であることがより好ましく、90質量%以上であることがより好ましく、95質量%以上であることがより好ましい。
本発明は、本発明の非晶質イオン伝導体、イオン伝導複合体又は電極活物質を主成分として含む電極を提供する。本発明の電極は、非晶質イオン伝導体、イオン伝導複合体又は電極活物質のみからなっていてもよいが、結着材、導電材、公知の固体電解質等を含んでいてもよい。結着材、導電材については上述のものを用いることができる。公知の固体電解質は後述の二次電池作製の際に用いる本発明の固体電解質以外の固体電解質を用いることができる。
電極は、例えば、LiNbO3、NaNbO3、Al2O3又はNiS等の材料で被覆されていてもよい。これらの電極はそれぞれ単独で用いられていてもよく、また2種以上が組み合わされて用いられても良い。
本発明は、正極と集電体とが組み合わされた電極複合体も提供する。集電体と組み合わされる電極は、上記本発明の電極である。
集電体としては、本発明の電極と組み合わせることができ、集電体としての機能が果たせるものであれば材質、形状等は特に限定されない。集電体の形状としては、均一な合金板の様なものであっても、孔を有した形状であってもよい。また、箔、シート状、フィルム状の形態であってもよい。
コーティング方法としては、集電体をコーティングできれば特に限定されないが、例えばスパッタコーターを用いて表面に蒸着させて形成することができる。
本発明の電極複合体は、それぞれ電極、集電体として形成したものを合わせて電極複合体としてもよいし、集電体上に直接電極を形成してもよい。直接形成する場合は、公知の方法を用いて、集電体の表面に電極活物質を塗布してもよい。
本発明は、本発明の非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む固体電解質を提供する。固体電解質は、本発明の非晶質イオン伝導体やイオン伝導複合体のみからなっていてもよいが、結着材、導電材、公知の固体電解質等を含んでいてもよい。結着材、導電材については上述のものを用いることができる。公知の固体電解質は後述の二次電池作製の際に用いる本発明の固体電解質以外の固体電解質を用いることができる。
非晶質イオン伝導体やイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含むとは、固体電解質の全質量に対して非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体を60質量%以上含むことを指す。非晶質イオン伝導体又はイオン伝導複合体の質量割合は、固体電解質の全質量に対して70質量%以上であることが好ましく、75質量%以上であることがより好ましく、80質量%以上であることがより好ましく、90質量%以上であることがより好ましく、95質量%以上であることがより好ましい。
本発明は、本発明の電極又は電極複合体を含む二次電池を提供する。二次電池としては、一般的なリチウムイオン二次電池でも、全固体二次電池であってもよい。本発明の電極は、正極及び負極のいずれにも用いることができる。
本発明の電極を正極として用いた場合、充放電時に、Liが可動イオンとして正極及び負極間でやりとりすることができれば特に限定されず、公知の負極と組み合わされて用いてもよい。公知の負極としては、酸化還元電位の低いものが好ましく、Liの酸化還元電位に対して0.7V以下の平均充放電電位を有するものがより好ましい。また、本発明の電極を負極として用いた場合、充放電時に、Liが可動イオンとして正極及び負極間でやりとりすることができれば特に限定されず、公知の正極と組み合わされて用いてもよい。公知の正極としては、酸化還元電位の高いものが好ましく、Liの酸化還元電位に対して3.5V以上の平均充放電電位を有するものがより好ましい。公知の正極及び負極に用いられる正極活物質は、上記の公知の正極活物質等から構成される。公知の正極及び負極は、電極活物質のみからなっていてもよく、上述の結着材、導電材、固体電解質等と混合されていてもよい。
本発明に使用する非水電解質層は、公知の電解質と非水溶媒との混合物から構成できる。
電解質としては、例えば、LiClO4、LiPF6、LiBF4、LiCF3SO3、LiAsF6、LiB(C6H5)4、LiCl、LiBr、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、LiC(SO2CF3)3又はLiN(SO3CF3)2等が挙げられる。
非水溶媒としては、特に制限されず、例えばカーボネート類、エーテル類、ケトン類、スルホラン系化合物、ラクトン類、ニトリル類、塩素化炭化水素類、アミン類、エステル類、アミド類、リン酸エステル化合物等が挙げられる。これらの代表的なものとして、1,2-ジメトキシエタン、1,2-ジエトキシエタン、テトラヒドロフラン、2-メチルテトラヒドロフラン、エチレンカーボネート、ビニレンカーボネート、メチルホルメート、ジメチルスルホキシド、プロピレンカーボネート、アセトニトリル、γ-ブチロラクトン、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、スルホラン、エチルメチルカーボネート、1,4-ジオキサン、4-メチル-2-ペンタノン、1,3-ジオキソラン、4-メチル-1,3-ジオキソラン、ジエチルエーテル、スルホラン、メチルスルホラン、プロピオニトリル、ベンゾニトリル、ブチロニトリル、バレロニトリル、1,2-ジクロロエタン、リン酸トリメチル、リン酸トリエチル等が挙げられる。これらは1種又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いることができる。
固体電解質層を構成する固体電解質は、特に限定されず、全固体二次電池に用いることができる公知のものが使用できる。公知の固体電解質は、例えば、硫化物系固体電解質材料、酸化物系固体電解質材料で構成される。
硫化物系固体電解質材料としては、例えば、Li2S-P2S5、Li2S-P2S5-LiI、Li2S-P2S5-LiI-LiBr、Li2S-P2S5-Li2O、Li2S-P2S5-Li2O-LiI、Li2S-SiS2、Li2S-SiS2-LiI、Li2S-SiS2-LiBr、Li2S-SiS2-LiCl、Li2S-SiS2-B2S3-LiI、Li2S-SiS2-P2S5-LiI、Li2S-B2S3、Li2S-P2S5-GeS2、LiI-Li2S-P2O5、LiI-Li3PO4-P2S5、Li2S-P2S5、Li10GeP2S12、Li7P3S11、Li3PS4、又はLi3.25P0.75S4等が挙げられる。これらの硫化物系固体電解質材料はそれぞれ単独で用いられていてもよく、また2種以上が組み合わされて用いられてもよい。
酸化物系固体電解質材料の例としては、例えば、Li2O-B2O3-P2O3、Li2O-SiO2、Li2O-P2O5、Li5La3Ta2O12、Li7La3Zr2O12、Li6BaLa2Ta2O12、Li3.6SI0.6P0.4O4又はLi3BO3-Li2SO4-Li2CO3等が挙げられる。また、本発明の固体電解質を用いることもできる。これらの酸化物系固体電解質材料はそれぞれ単独で用いられていてもよく、また2種以上が組み合わされて用いられてもよい。
本発明は、本発明の固体電解質を含む全固体二次電池を提供する。電極は上述した公知の正極及び負極を組み合わせて用いることができる。
本発明は、本発明の電極、電極複合体又は固体電解質を用いた二次電池の製造方法も提供する。
(I) リチウムイオン二次電池
リチウムイオン二次電池を製造する場合、例えば、本発明の正極と、公知のリチウムイオン二次電池用の負極との積層体を電池缶に挿入し、電池缶に電解質及び非水溶媒の混合物を注ぐことによりリチウムイオン電池二次電池を得ることができる。
正極と負極との間にセパレータを使用してもよい。この場合は、微多孔性の高分子フィルムを用いることが好ましい。具体的には、ナイロン、セルロースアセテート、ニトロセルロース、ポリスルホン、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン又はポリブテン等のポリオレフィン高分子よりなるセパレータを使用できる。
正極、セパレータ及び負極は、積層してもよいし、捲いた形状にしてもよい。正極、負極の代わりに、本発明の電極複合体を用いてもよい。
(II) 全固体電池
全固体電池は、例えば、本発明の正極と、固体電解質層と、公知の負極及び集電体を積層し、プレスすることによりセルを得、これを容器に固定して得ることができる。又は、公知の正極、負極及び集電体と、本発明の固体電解質層とを積層し、プレスすることによりセルを得、これを容器に固定して得ることができる。
負極と固体電解質層との間には、Au、Pt、In、Al、Sn又はSi等から選択される金属層を設けてもよい。また、金属層は、正極と固体電解質層との間に設けられていてもよい。金属層の厚みは、10 nm-100μmであることが好ましい。
また、以下の実施例及び比較例において、遊星型ボールミルにはFritsch社製Pulverisette P-7を用いた。X線回折装置としては、リガク社製全自動多目的X線回折装置SmartLabを用いた。イオン伝導度及び電子伝導度の測定には、ソーラトロン社製のインピーダンスアナライザー(SI-1260)を用いた。スパッタリングには、サンユー電子社のクイックコーター(SC-701Mk II)を用いた。SEMにはFE-SEM(日立製超高分解能電界放出形走査電子顕微鏡 SU8220)を用いた。EDS分析には堀場製作所製のEMAXEvolution X-Maxを用いた。冷間静水圧プレス(CIP)には、エヌピーエーシステム株式会社製NPa-6003を用いた。固体NMRの測定にはJEOR製JNM-ECX 400(400 MHz, 9.4 T)を用いた。ラマンスペクトル測定には、堀場製作所製のレーザーラマン分光装置 LabRAM HR-800を用いた。定電流サイクル試験にはナガノ株式会社製、充放電測定装置(BTS-2004)を用いた。
(イオン伝導体の作製1)
Li2OとLiIをモル比で1:1になるように、それぞれ0.0912g、0.4088g(合計0.5g)秤量した。秤量した試料を混合し、遊星型ボールミルに供してメカノケミカル処理を行い、イオン伝導体試料を作製した。処理はアルゴン雰囲気下のグローブボックス内で行い、水分値-70℃以上、酸素濃度が10ppm以下の環境下で作業を行った(以下グローブボックス内で行う作業は全てこの条件で行っている)。メカノケミカルの条件は、ZrO2製の45mlのポットにZrO2製の直径5.0mmのボールを32.5gと、試料0.5gを投入し、510rpm、50時間処理して行った。これにより、50Li2O・50LiIイオン伝導体を作製した。また、別のイオン伝導体として、Li2OとLiIをモル比で2:1になるように、それぞれ0.1543g、0.3457g(合計0.5g)秤量した以外は、上記と同様にして66.7Li2O・33.3LiIイオン伝導体を作製した。以下、実施例1のようにボールミルでメカノケミカル処理を行ったことを明確化する場合は、組成の後に(milled)と示した。
(固相法によるイオン伝導体の作製)
Li2OとLiIを用い、以下の手順による固相法によってイオン伝導体を作製した。
Li2OとLiIをモル比で1:1になるように、それぞれ0.0912g、0.4088g(合計0.5g)秤量した。秤量した試料を50℃で半日以上乾燥させた乳鉢と乳棒を用いて、5~10分程度、押しつぶしながら混合した。混合した試料を直径4.0mmのペレットに成形した。試料と石英管が直接接触することを防ぐために、成形したペレットをカーボンるつぼ(外径:7.0mm、内径:5.0mm)に入れ、石英アンプル(外径:10.0mm, 内径:7.9mm)中に真空封入し、アンプルごとデンケン社のマッフル炉にて熱処理した。熱処理条件としては、室温から300℃まで1分につき5℃ずつ昇温し、300℃で48時間保持した。秤量および乳鉢混合はグローブボックス内で行った。これにより、固相法による、50Li2O・50LiI(heat treated)イオン伝導体を作製した。
集電体にはSKDを、絶縁材には内径10 mmのポリカーボネートをそれぞれ用いた。各粉末試料150mgを秤量してロッド内に加え、油圧式プレス機を用いて360MPaで5分間一軸プレスで成形を行うことでペレットを作製した。軸およびロッドごとネジでかしめることで固定し、ガラス容器に入れ、ゴム栓で封入した。測定周波数は0.1 Hz~1×106 Hz、交流振幅は10mV、得られたインピーダンスプロットの半円と実軸の交点を試料の抵抗Rとし、以下の式からイオン伝導度σを求めた。

(乳鉢混合によるイオン伝導体の作製)
Li2OとLiIを用い、以下の手順による乳鉢混合によってイオン伝導体を作製した。Li2OとLiIをモル比で2:1になるように、それぞれ0.1543g、0.3457g(合計0.5g)秤量した。秤量した試料を100℃で24時間以上乾燥させた乳鉢と乳棒を用いて5分程度混合して作製した。秤量および乳鉢混合のグローブボックス内で行った。これにより、乳鉢混合による66.7Li2O・33.3LiI(hand mixed)イオン伝導体を作製した。
グローブボックス内で油圧式プレス機を用いて、粉末試料を360MPaで5分間、一軸プレスで加圧してペレットを成形した。成形したペレットは直径10mm、厚さ0.7~1.1mmであった。このペレットの両面に、クイックコーター(SC-701Mk II)を用い、電流値280mA、1分の条件で、ペレット表面にAuをスパッタリングし、これを電極とした。作製したペレット電極をラミネートセルに真空封入した。このセルにNi製のリードタブおよびラミネートシートを重ね、周囲3辺を石崎電機製のシーラー(NL-202JC-10)で加熱することで接着させて作製した。さらにグローブボックス内で、Ni製のリードタブの間にペレット試料をはさみ、真空下でシールすることで封入した。最後にクリップを用いてNi製のリードタブと筒内の白金リード線とをつなげてラミネートセルを作製した。
(イオン伝導体の作製2)
Li2OとLiIとを、以下の表2及び表3に記載された重量秤量して混合し、それぞれを遊星型ボールミルに供してメカノケミカル処理を行い、イオン伝導体試料を作製した。処理はグローブボックス内で行った。メカノケミカルの条件は、ZrO2製の45mlのポットにZrO2製の直径5mmのボールを32.5gと、試料0.5gを投入し、510rpm, 70時間処理して行った。作製した各イオン伝導体試料に対してX線回折(XRD)測定を行った。

(イオン伝導体の作製3)
Li2OとLiA(AはF、Cl、Br、Iのいずれか)とを組み合わせたイオン伝導体、Li2OとLiOHとを組み合わせたイオン伝導体又はLiOHとLiIとを組み合わせたイオン伝導体を作製し、イオン伝導度を測定した。それぞれの試料の混合量は以下の表5~8のようにした。各重量比以外は上記実施例2と同様にしてイオン伝導体を作製した。
上記66.7Li2O・33.3LiIの試料粉末を固体NMRに供し、作製した試料のリチウム周りの局所構造について調べた。固体NMRは以下のようにして行った。
アルゴン雰囲気下のグローブボックス内で粉末試料を、ZrO2製の試料管に詰めた。粉末試料を詰めた試料管をJNM-ECX 400(400 MHz, 9.4 T)に供して測定した。標準物質には塩化リチウム(LiCl, -1.19 ppm)を用いた。リチウムの共鳴周波数は155.5MHzであった。プローブの試料管の回転速度は12-15kHz、繰り返しパルスの待ち時間は5s、積算回数は50回とした。Li2O、LiIについても同様に測定した。
上記90Li2O・10LiI、70Li2O・30LiI、66.7Li2O・33.3LiI、50Li2O・50LiI、40Li2O・60LiI、30Li2O・70LiI、20Li2O・80LiIの試料粉末を用い、ラマンスペクトルを測定した。測定には、レーザーラマン分光装置LabRAM HR-800を使用し、粉末試料をアルゴンガス中でAlパンに詰めて固定し、気密試料台(LIBCell-P11D5, nano photon)を用いて測定を行った。発振線としてHe-Cdレーザー(325 nm)を用いて測定を行った。Li2O、LiIについても同様に測定した。
上記66.7Li2O・33.3LiIの試料粉末に対してSEM観察を行い、EDS分析を行った。SEMにはFE-SEM SU8220を用い、作動距離は5mm、加圧電圧は1-10kVで行った。SEM観察を行った後に、エネルギー分散型X線分析(EDX)装置を用いて分析を行った。このとき、SEMの作動距離は15mm、加圧電圧は10kVで行った。
(イオン伝導体の作製4)
Li2OとLiIと、網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物又は中間酸化物Z(以降は酸化物Zと記載する)を組み合わせたイオン伝導体を作製し、XRD及びイオン伝導度を測定した。酸化物Zとしては、Al2O3、B2O3、GeO2、P2O5、SiO2、V2O3を用いた。Li2OとLiIとは、2:1になるように混合した。酸化物Zの種類及び混合比は、以下の表9~11のようにした。各重量比以外は、上記実施例2と同様にしてイオン伝導体を作製した。表9~11には測定した各試料のイオン伝導度も示す。
(ミリング条件の検討)
イオン伝導体作製時のメカノケミカル条件について検討した。
Li2OとLiIを50:50、60:40、70:30の3パターンの割合で混合し、ミリング時間をそれぞれの試料に対して10時間(10時間は50:50のみ)、30時間、50時間、70時間と変更してメカノケミカル処理に供した際のイオン伝導体への影響を調べた。ミリング時間以外の条件は実施例2と同様にして行った。作製した各試料に対してXRD測定を行った結果を図16A~16Cに示す。図16Aには50:50の結果を、図16Bには60:40の結果を、図16Cには70:30の結果をそれぞれ示す。各図には比較としてLiIとLi2Oの測定結果を記載している。図16A~16Cより、メカノケミカル処理時間50時間までは処理時間を長くするごとにピーク強度が低下し、イオン伝導体の結晶性が低下することがわかる。
ボール条件を以下の表12のように変更してメカノケミカル処理を行った。試験に用いたLi2OとLiIは50:50となるように混合した。
回転条件を以下の表13のように変更してメカノケミカル処理を行った。試験に用いたLi2OとLiIは66.7:33.3となるように混合した。
(66.7Li2O・33.3 LiIの電気化学測定)
上記66.7Li2O・33.3LiI試料を用いて電気化学測定、及びLiの溶解析出特性を評価した。
以下の手順で対称セルを作製した。
66.7Li2O・33.3LiI粉末試料をグローブボックス内で、油圧式プレス機を用いて360MPaで5分間一軸プレスして成形し、ペレットを作製した。このペレットの両面に膜厚250μmのLi箔を貼り付けた。この両側にさらに膜厚20μm、直径10.0mmのSUS箔を貼り付けた。これを厚さ150μm(うち50μmはアルミ蒸着膜)のアルミラミネートフィルムへ真空封入した。その後、2分間80MPaの条件で冷間静水圧プレス(CIP)を行い、66.7Li2O・33.3LiI対称セルを作製した。作製した66.7Li2O・33.3 LiI対称セルの概略図を図20に示す。
以下の手順で全固体二次電池を作製した。
(66.7Li2O・33.3LiI-VGCFの作製)
66.7Li2O・33.3LiI粉末試料と気相成長炭素繊維(VGCF)を重量比で5:1になるように、それぞれ0.2500g、0.0500g(合計0.3 g)秤量し10分程度乳鉢混合した。混合した試料とZrO2ボール(直径4 mm, 28.8 g)をZrO2製ポット(45 ml)に入れ、上記遊星型ボールミル装置を用いてメカノケミカル処理(510 rpm, 10時間)し66.7Li2O・33.3LiI-VGCF試料を作製した。一連の作業はグローブボックス内で行った。
本実験で用いる固体電解質粉末は以下のようにして作製した。
Li2SとP2S5を、75:25の比率でZrO2ボール(直径4mm, 250g)と共にZrO2製ポット(250ml)に入れ、上記遊星型ボールミル装置を用いてメカノケミカル処理(210rpm, 70時間)しLi3PS4ガラス固体電解質粉末試料(LPS)を作製した。一連の作業は乾燥アルゴン雰囲気下のグローブボックス内で行った。
直径10mmの穴が開いた筒状の超硬合金ダイス内に、上記LPS試料80mgを入れて軽く押し固めた。その上に、約5.0mgの66.7Li2O・33.3LiI-VGCFを加えた後、油圧式プレス機を用いて360MPaで5分間一軸プレスすることによって66.7Li2O・33.3LiI-VGCF-LPSの二層ペレットを作製した。次に、負極として、直径8mmのIn箔(厚さ0.30mm, 99.999 %)と直径7mmのLi箔(厚さ0.25mm, 99.9 %)を、66.7Li2O・33.3 LiI-VGCFを加えた側とは逆側からセルに入れ、120MPaで2分間一軸プレスした。最後に、作製したセルをねじでしめることによって、全固体二次電池を得た。作製した全固体二次電池の概略図は図23のようになる。なお、Li-In合金を負極として使用した電池は、負極のモル比が正極活物質にくらべると大過剰となるため、電池の容量は正極活物質を基準として算出した。
50Li2O・50LiIを用いたセルを作製して交流インピーダンス及び直流分極を測定した。50Li2O・50LiIを用いたセルは以下のようにして作製した。
直径10mmの穴が開いた筒状の超硬合金ダイス内に、50Li2O・50LiI粉末試料を入れ、グローブボックス内で、油圧式プレス機を用いて360 MPaで5分間、一軸プレスで成形しペレットを作製した。このペレットの両面に膜厚250μm、直径7mmのLi箔を入れ、軽く押し固めることで貼り付けた。最後に、作製したセルをねじでかしめることによって、50Li2O・50LiIセルを作製した。セルを構成している集電体にはSKDを、絶縁材にはポリカーボネートをそれぞれ用いた。
RIR法(Reference Intensity Ratio)を用いて、Li2O-LiL試料のアモルファス率を測定した。測定は以下のようにして行った。
基準試料である粉末Al2O3と、作製した66.7Li2O・33.3 LiI(又は50Li2O・50LiI)イオン伝導体を1:2の重量比で乳鉢混合した混合物と、Al2O3と出発原料のLi2Oと、LiI(Li2O:LiI=2:1 molar ratio)とを乳鉢混合した混合物をそれぞれXRD測定した。得られた二つのデータを、Al2O3のピーク強度が合うように規格化してLi2OとLiIのピーク強度をそれぞれ比較し、強度の減少度合いから非晶質化した割合を計算した。その結果を表14に示す。
Claims (16)
- 下記式:
(Li2-xO1-xAx)1-yZy (I)
(式中、AはF、Cl、Br及びIから選択される1以上の原子であり、xは0.1≦x≦0.7を満たし、Zは網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物(ただし、Li2Oを除く)又は中間酸化物であり、yは0≦y≦0.25を満たす。ただし、0.2≦y≦0.25のときAがIでありZがSiO2であるものを除く)で表される非晶質イオン伝導体。 - 前記yは0≦y<0.2を満たす、請求項1に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体。
- 前記yは0≦y≦0.15を満たす、請求項1又は2に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体。
- 前記xは0.1≦x≦0.5を満たす、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体。
- 前記網目形成酸化物、網目修飾酸化物又は中間酸化物がAl2O3、B2O3、GeO2、P2O5、SiO2及びV2O3からなる群より選択される1以上の化合物である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体。
- 前記AがIである、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体からなる第1相と、
前記式(I)で表される化学組成を有する結晶質イオン伝導体からなる第2相と
を有するイオン伝導複合体。 - 前記第1相の含有率が50質量%以上である、請求項7に記載のイオン伝導複合体。
- 前記第2相が前記第1相中に分散している、請求項7又は8に記載のイオン伝導複合体。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体又は請求項7~9のいずれか1項に記載のイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む電極活物質。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体、請求項7~9のいずれか1項に記載のイオン伝導複合体又は請求項10に記載の電極活物質を主成分として含む電極。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体又は請求項7~9のいずれか1項に記載のイオン伝導複合体を主成分として含む固体電解質。
- 請求項11に記載の電極を正極又は負極として含む二次電池。
- 全固体二次電池である請求項13に記載の二次電池。
- 請求項12に記載の固体電解質を含む全固体二次電池。
- 酸化リチウムLi2Oと、LiA(式中、Aは請求項1の式(I)中のAと同義)と、任意に1以上の酸化物Z(Zは請求項1の式(I)中のZと同義)とをメカノケミカル処理する工程を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の非晶質イオン伝導体又は請求項7~9のいずれか1項に記載のイオン伝導複合体を製造する方法。
