Abstract
Description
最初に本開示の実施態様を列挙して説明する。
以下に、本開示の実施形態について説明する。本開示はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内での全ての変更が含まれることが意図される。
本開示を、基板用コネクタ10を有する電気機器11に適用した実施形態1について図1から図10を参照しつつ説明する。実施形態1の電気機器11は、ケース12と、ケース12内に収容された回路基板13と、回路基板13に取り付けられた基板用コネクタ10と、を有する。以下の説明では、矢線Zの示す方向を上方とし、矢線Yの示す方向を前方とし、矢線Xの示す方向を左方として説明する。また、複数の同一部材については、一部の部材に符号を付し、他の部材については符号を省略する場合がある。
図1に示されるように、電気機器11は合成樹脂製のケース12を有する。ケース12内には回路基板13が収容されている。実施形態1に係る電気機器11としては、例えば、図示しない車両の電源をオン、又はオフする電気接続箱や、DC/DCコンバータ等、特に限定されない。詳細には図示しないが、回路基板13はケース12に対して、ネジ止め等、公知の手法により固定されている。図2に示されるように、回路基板13は、絶縁基板に、公知のプリント配線技術によって形成された導電路14、及び固定用ランド15を有する。導電路14、及び固定用ランド15は銅箔等の導電性の金属により形成されている。導電路14は、後述する端子用ランド16を有する。導電路14と固定用ランド15とは、電気的に接続されていてもよいし、また、電気的に接続されていなくてもよい。
基板用コネクタ10は、図2に示されるように、ハウジング18に対して複数(本実施形態では5つ)の端子21が装着され、このハウジング18が回路基板13に載置されて、各端子21がリフロー式の半田付けにより回路基板13に接続されるとともに、ハウジング18の両側面に金属製の固定部材22が装着され、この固定部材22が同じくリフロー式の半田付けにより回路基板13上に固定されるようになっている。
ハウジング18は合成樹脂製であって、図3に示されるように、全体としては左右方向に細長いブロック状に形成される。図1に示されるように、ハウジング18の前面には、雌側の相手ハウジング(図示せず)が嵌合される開口部23が前方に開口して形成されている。
端子21は、図6に示されるように、細長い金属板材を所定の形状に曲げ形成してなる。端子21の前端部は、相手ハウジングに装着された雌端子(図示せず)と接続される端子接続部33とされる。端子接続部33は前後方向(端子接続部33の延びる方向の一例)に延びて形成されている。
図5に示されるように、ハウジング18の左右両側面には、ハウジング18を半田付けにより回路基板13上に固定するための固定部材22が取り付けられるようになっている。固定部材22は、金属板をプレス加工して形成されている。固定部材22の側縁には、ハウジング18に形成された係止溝32に嵌合する装着リブ44が形成されている。図2に示されるように、固定部材22の下端部は、回路基板13に設けられた固定用ランド15に、半田45により半田付けされている。
続いて、実施形態1にかかる基板用コネクタ10、及び電気機器11の製造工程の一例について説明する。なお、基板用コネクタ10、及び電気機器11の製造工程は以下の記載に限定されない。
続いて、実施形態1の作用効果について説明する。実施形態1に係る基板用コネクタ10は、導電路14を有する回路基板13に取り付けられる基板用コネクタ10であって、ハウジング18と、ハウジング18に固定される端子21と、を備え、ハウジング18は、端子21が貫通して固定される端子固定壁28と、回路基板13に載置される底壁24と、底壁24に対向する上壁27と、を有し、端子21は、端子固定壁28に固定された状態でハウジング18の内部に位置する端子接続部33と、端子固定壁28からハウジング18の外部に配されるとともに端子固定壁28に沿って底壁24に向けて延びる延設部39と、延設部39の先端においてハウジング18の底壁24と回路基板13との間の領域に延びるとともに回路基板13の導電路14に半田付けされる基板接続部42と、を有し、上壁27は、底壁24と交差する方向について基板接続部42と対応する領域の少なくとも一部が開口した上側開口部19を有し、底壁24は、底壁24と交差する方向について基板接続部42と対応する領域の少なくとも一部が開口した下側開口部31を有し、端子接続部33と基板接続部42とは、底壁24と交差する方向についてずれた位置に形成されている。

Claims (5)
- 導電路を有する回路基板に取り付けられる基板用コネクタであって、
ハウジングと、前記ハウジングに固定される端子と、を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記端子が貫通して固定される端子固定壁と、前記回路基板に載置される底壁と、前記底壁に対向する上壁と、を有し、
前記端子は、前記端子固定壁に固定された状態で前記ハウジングの内部に位置する端子接続部と、前記端子固定壁から前記ハウジングの外部に配されるとともに前記端子固定壁に沿って前記底壁に向けて延びる延設部と、前記延設部の先端において前記ハウジングの前記底壁と前記回路基板との間の領域に延びるとともに前記回路基板の前記導電路に半田付けされる基板接続部と、を有し、
前記上壁は、前記底壁と交差する方向について前記基板接続部と対応する領域の少なくとも一部が開口した上側開口部を有し、
前記端子接続部と前記基板接続部とは、前記底壁と交差する方向についてずれた位置に形成されている基板用コネクタ。 - 前記端子接続部と前記延設部との間には、前記端子接続部の端部において前記端子接続部の延びる方向と交差する方向に屈曲する第1屈曲部と、前記第1屈曲部の端部において屈曲して前記延設部に連なる第2屈曲部と、が設けられており、
前記第1屈曲部のうち前記端子接続部と反対側の部分は、前記端子を前記ハウジングに圧入するための治具が当接される被押圧部とされる請求項1に記載の基板用コネクタ。 - 前記第2屈曲部のうち、前記延設部と反対側の部分は、前記端子が前記ハウジングに圧入される際に、過度に圧入されることを抑制するための前止まり部とされている請求項2に記載の基板用コネクタ。
- 前記ハウジングの前記底壁は、前記基板接続部に対応する領域が開口された下側開口部を有する請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の基板用コネクタ。
- 請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の基板用コネクタと、
前記基板用コネクタが取り付けられた回路基板と、
前記基板用コネクタが取り付けられた前記回路基板が収容されるケースと、を備えた電気機器であって、
前記ケースは、前記基板用コネクタの前記上側開口部に対応する位置に、前記ハウジングに向けて突出するとともに、前記上側開口部を覆うカバー部を有する電気機器。
