Abstract
본 발명은 안전성이 매우 우수한 세퍼레이터 및 이를 구비하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시양태에 따른 세퍼레이터는 다공성 고분자 기재; 및 상기 다공성 고분자 기재의 적어도 일면에 위치되어 있으며, 무기물 입자 및 바인더 고분자를 포함하는 유무기 복합 다공성층을 포함하고, 상기 무기물 입자의 BET 비표면적 값이 50 m2/g 내지 150 m2/g 이고, 상기 유무기 복합 다공성층의 두께가 상기 다공성 고분자 기재의 두께보다 두껍고, 상기 유무기 복합 다공성층 표면의 산술 평균 거칠기가 100 nm 내지 500 nm이다.
