また、本発明の一形態によれば、抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能に優れるとともに、従来技術の限界を超えた高い均一性、ブリードアウト性能及び安定性で、ステアリルジエタノールアミン等がポリオレフィン又はポリアミド樹脂成形体中に配合されたシート、射出成形体、発泡体又はブロー成形体等の製造に好適に使用できるマスターバッチを提供することができる。
本発明は、高分子樹脂、並びにステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有する樹脂成形体であって、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2~25質量部であり、前記高分子樹脂がポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドを含有する、上記樹脂成形体、である。
すなわち、本発明の樹脂成形体は、高分子樹脂、並びにステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有する。
本発明の樹脂成形体を構成する高分子樹脂は、ポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドを含有すること以外特に制限は無く、従来から樹脂成形体の製造にもちいられる高分子樹脂を適宜使用することができる。高分子樹脂は全体として、熱可塑性樹脂であっても、熱硬化性樹脂であってもよいが、各種の成形プロセスに適用可能であり、成形が容易であることなどから、熱可塑性樹脂であることが好ましい。
ポリオレフィンとしては、例えば、エチレン、プロピレン、1-ブテン、1-ヘキセン、4-メチル・1-ペンテン、1-オクテン等のα-オレフィンの単独重合体または共重合体が挙げられる。具体的には、高圧法低密度ポリエチレン、線状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、高密度ポリエチレンなどのエチレン系重合体、プロピレン単独重合体、プロピレン・α-オレフィンランダム共重合体、プロピレンブロック共重合体などのプロピレン系重合体、ポリ1-ブテン、ポリ4-メチル・1-ペンテンなどが挙げられる。
ポリアミドとしては、例えば、脂肪族骨格を含むポリアミド(一般にナイロンとも総称される。)、芳香族骨格のみで構成されるポリアミド(一般にアラミドとも総称される。)などが挙げられる。
また、該熱可塑性樹脂としては、ポリオレフィン及び/又はポリアミドに加えて、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート等のポリエステル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリイミド、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体またはその鹸化物、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン、アイオノマー、ポリ乳酸、ポリブチレンサクシネート等の生分解性樹脂、あるいはこれらの混合物等を併用してもよい。
該熱硬化性樹脂としては、例えば、エポキシ樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂、アクリル樹脂、フェノール樹脂、尿素樹脂、メラミン樹脂、アニリン樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、ビスマレイミド樹脂などが挙げられる。これらの熱硬化性樹脂は、一種を用いてもよく、二種以上を併用してもよい。また、熱硬化性樹脂は硬化剤と組み合わせて使用されてもよい。
熱可塑性樹脂と熱硬化性樹脂とを併用してもよい。
これらの特に好ましい高分子樹脂は、成形性、機械的特性、化学的安定性、軽量性等に優れる。また、既に汎用樹脂として多くの用途に用いられているため、コスト、供給安定性、品質安定性、実用性等にも優れる。
上記ポリエチレンとしては、狭義のポリエチレンには限定されず、エチレン系重合体一般を使用することができる。
エチレン系重合体としては、エチレンの単独重合体、エチレンを主要モノマーとし、それと炭素数3から8のα-オレフィンの少なくとも1種類以上との共重合体、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体、そのケン化物及びアイオノマーが挙げられる。具体的には、エチレン単独重合体、エチレン・プロピレン共重合体、エチレン・1-ブテン共重合体、エチレン・1-ペンテン共重合体、エチレン・1-ヘキセン共重合体、エチレン・4-メチル-1-ペンテン共重合体、エチレン・1-オクテン共重合体などのエチレンを主要モノマーとし、その単独重合体、又はこれと炭素数3から8のα-オレフィンの少なくとも1種類以上との共重合体が挙げられる。これらのうち共重合体中のα-オレフィンの割合は、1~15モル%であることが好ましい。
ポリエチレンの製造方法には特に制限は無く、当業者において公知の方法で製造されうる。例えば、チーグラ・ナッタ触媒等の不均一触媒を用いて製造したものであってもよく、メタロセン系触媒等の均一触媒を用いて製造したものであってもよい。
上記ポリプロピレンとしては、プロピレン系重合体一般を使用することができる。
プロピレン系重合体としては、ポリプロピレンの名称で製造、販売されているプロピレン単独重合体(ホモPPとも呼ばれている)、プロピレン・α-オレフィンランダム共重合体(ランダムPPとも呼ばれている)、プロピレン単独重合体と、低結晶性または非晶性のプロピレン・エチレンランダム共重合体との混合物(ブロックPPとも呼ばれている)などのプロピレンを主成分とする結晶性の重合体が挙げられる。また、プロピレン系重合体は、分子量が異なるプロピレン単独重合体の混合物であってもよく、プロピレン単独重合体と、プロピレンとエチレン又は炭素数4から10のα-オレフィンとのランダム共重合体との混合物であってもよい。
任意成分であるポリエチレンテレフタレートとしては、テレフタル酸を主たる酸成分とし、エチレングリコールを主たるグリコール成分として得られるポリエステルであり、ホモポリマー(テレフタル酸及びエチレングリコールのみから導かれるポリエステル)であってもよいが、主要量、例えば90モル%以上、がエチレンテレフタレートの繰り返し単位からなっており、残余、例えば10モル%以下、が他のエステル結合を形成可能な共重合成分からなる共重合体であってよい。共重合可能な化合物としては、酸成分として、例えば、イソフタル酸、シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸、アジピン酸、ダイマ酸およびセバシン酸などのジカルボン酸類が挙げられ、一方グリコール成分として、例えば、ジエチレングリコール、ブタンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、シクロヘキサンジメタノール、ポリエチレングリコールおよびポリプロピレングリコールなどを挙げることができる。
ポリエチレンテレフタレートは、1種類のみを単独で使用してもよく、2種類以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。また、ポリエチエレンテレフタレートを、他の芳香族ポリエステルと組み合わせて使用してもよく、ポリ乳酸やポリブチレンサクシネート等の脂肪族ポリエステルと組み合わせて使用してもよい。
任意成分であるポリスチレンとしては、例えば、スチレン系単量体(例えば、スチレン、メチルスチレン、エチルスチレン、イソプロピルスチレン、ジメチルスチレン、パラメチルスチレン、クロロスチレン、ブロモスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルキシレン)の単独重合体;スチレン系単量体と、スチレン系単量体と共重合可能な単量体との共重合体(以下、「変性ポリスチレン」とも称する)等が挙げられる。
スチレン系単量体と共重合可能な単量体としては、例えば、ビニル単量体(例えば、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸メチル、無水マレイン酸、ブタジエン)等が挙げられる。
ポリスチレンは、1種類のみを単独で使用してもよく、2種類以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。
上記ポリアミドとして特に好適であるナイロンは、狭義のナイロン、すなわちナイロンの名称で製造・販売されている高分子樹脂には限定されず、脂肪族骨格を含むポリアミド系樹脂一般を好ましく用いることができる。
より具体的には、例えば、4-ナイロン、6-ナイロン、7-ナイロン、11-ナイロン、12-ナイロン、46-ナイロン、66-ナイロン、69-ナイロン、610-ナイロン、611-ナイロン、612-ナイロン、6T-ナイロン、6Iナイロン、共重合ナイロン、非晶ナイロン等が挙げられ、中でも、耐熱性、機械的強度、及び入手の容易性の点から、6-ナイロン、12-ナイロン、66-ナイロン、共重合ナイロン、及び非晶ナイロン等が好ましく用いられる。
ナイロンは、1種類のみを単独で使用してもよく、2種類以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。
本発明の樹脂成形体においては、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有することで、樹脂成形体に、抗菌性及び抗ウイルス性を付与することができる。
ステアリルジエタノールアミンは、炭素数18のステアリル基を有するアルキルジエタノールアミンである。
パルミチルジエタノールアミンは、炭素数16の長鎖アルキル基であるパルミチル基を有するアルキルジエタノールアミンである。
ステアリルジエタノールアミンおよびパルミチルジエタノールアミンは、抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能に優れ、ミリスチルジエタノールアミンやラウリルジエタノールアミンに比べて融点が比較的高いため、成形時においては比較的揮発しにくく、また上記抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能を比較的長期間にわたって維持することができるので、ポリエチレン系フィルム等に抗菌性及び抗ウイルス性を付与するために従来から用いられてきた。

本発明においては、これらステアリルジエタノールアミンの類似化合物のうち、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が樹脂成形体中に配合されたステアリルジエタノールアミンの安定性に影響を与える影響に着目し、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量を特定範囲内に調整する。
パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2質量部以上であることで、樹脂成形体において、高いブリードアウト促進性能が実現される。パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して5質量部以上であることが好ましく、8質量部以上であることがより好ましい。
パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して25質量部以下であることで、好ましくはシート、射出成形体、発泡体又はブロー成形体である樹脂成形体表面のべたつき抑制が実現される。更に成形時において低揮発温度であるパルメチンジエタノールアミンの発煙を抑制することができる。
パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して23質量部以下であることが好ましく、20質量部以下であることがより好ましい。
より具体的には、ステアリルジエタノールアミン(C18DEA)とパルミチルジエタノールアミン(C16DEA)との混合物の溶解度パラメータ(SP値)は、両成分の混合比に依存して、下表1に示す様に変化する。
ポリアミドを含有する樹脂成形体の場合には、溶解度パラメータがステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンよりも大幅に大きいものが多く、例えば好ましいポリアミドであるナイロン66の溶解度パラメータは13.6なので、ステアリルジエタノールアミンとパルミチルジエタノールアミンとの混合物において、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が増大することによる溶解度パラメータの増加の影響は小さく、むしろ粘度低下の影響が支配的で、これがブリードアウトを促進しているものと推定される。
また、ステアリルジエタノールアミンの製造後に、別途製造したパルミチルジエタノールアミンを所定量添加してもよい。
パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの合計での含有量が50質量ppm以上であることで、本実施形態のシート、フィルム、射出成形体、発泡体又はブロー成形体である樹脂成形体は適切な抗菌、抗ウイルス性能を発現できるので好ましい。パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、合計で100質量ppm以上であることがより好ましく、300質量ppm以上であることが特に好ましい。
パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量が合計で5.0質量%以下であることで、本実施形態の樹脂成形体は、過剰なブリードアウトが抑制され、外観の劣化抑制、及び内容物への過剰な移行を抑制できるので好ましい。パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、合計で2質量%以下であることがより好ましく、1質量%以下であることが特に好ましい。
樹脂成形体におけるパルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量、及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、超音波粉砕後の抽出試験等によって測定することができる。
樹脂成形体におけるパルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量、及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、成形時におけるパルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの添加量やペレット状の樹脂成形体(マスターバッチ)の使用量を調整すること等で、適宜調整することができる。
樹脂成形体が、ポリプロピレンからなり、又は主にポリプロピレンからなる場合には、パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、合計で0.01から3質量%であることが好ましい。
樹脂成形体が、ポリアミドからなり、又は主にポリアミドからなる場合には、パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミンの含有量は、合計で0.02から1.0質量%であることが好ましい。
例えば、パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミン以外の抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能を有する成分を含有していてもよい。これらの抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能を有する成分としては、パルミチルジエタノールアミン及びステアリルジエタノールアミン以外のアルキルジエタノールアミン、アルキルジエタノールアミンの一部が脂肪族カルボン酸とエステルを形成した化合物、高級脂肪族アルコール類、グリセリン脂肪酸類、ジグリセリン脂肪酸類等を挙げることができる。
また、抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能を有する成分以外にも、必要に応じて耐熱安定剤(酸化防止剤)、耐候安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、滑剤、スリップ剤、核剤、ブロッキング防止剤、帯電防止剤、防曇剤、顔料、染料等の添加剤を添加することができる。また、タルク、シリカ、珪藻土などの各種フィラー類を添加してもよい。
帯電防止剤としては、例えば、アルキルアミンおよびその誘導体、高級アルコール、ピリジン誘導体、硫酸化油、石鹸類、オレフィンの硫酸エステル塩類、アルキル硫酸エステル類、脂肪酸エチルスルフォン酸塩、アルキルスルフォン酸塩、アルキルナタレンスルフォン酸塩、アルキルベンゼンスルフォン酸塩、ナフタレンスルフォン酸塩、琥珀酸エステルスルフォン酸塩、リン酸エステル塩、多価アルコールの部分的脂肪酸エステル、脂肪アルコールのエチレンオキサイド付加物、脂肪酸のエチレンオキサイド付加物、脂肪アミノまたは脂肪酸アミドのエチレンオキサイド付加物、アルキルフェノールのエチレンオキサイド付加物、アルキルナフトルのエチレンオキサイド付加物、多価アルコールの部分的脂肪酸エステルのエチレンオキサイド付加物、ポリエチレングリコール等を、好ましい例として挙げることができる。これらは一種を用いてもよく、二種以上を併用してもよい。
紫外線吸収剤としては、例えば、エチレン-2-シアノ-3,3’-ジフェニルアクリレート、2-(2’-ヒドロキシ-5’-メチルフェニル)ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2’-ヒドロキシ-3’-t-ブチル-5’-メチルフェニル)-5-クロロベンゾトリアゾール、2-ヒドロキシ-4-メトキシベンゾフェノン、2、2’-ジヒドロキシ-4-メトキシベンゾフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-4-オクトキシベンゾフェノン等を、好ましい例として挙げることができる。これらは一種を用いてもよく、二種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明の成形体の種類、形状等には特に限定はなく、各種形状の各種成形体に好ましく適用することができるが、シート、射出成形体、発泡体、ブロー成形体等の種々の形状、厚み、発泡倍率を有する樹脂成形体に特に好ましく適用することができる。
従来技術においては、ステアリルジエタノールアミン等の抗菌性能及び抗ウイルス性能を有する成分は、主に比較的厚みの小さいフィルムに添加されており、フィルムへの配合に好適な態様が検討されていた。シート、射出成形体、発泡体、ブロー成形体等は、フィルムとは異なる形状、寸法(厚み)、発泡倍率を有し、またその成形プロセスもフィルムのものとは異なるので、これらの成形体に従来技術を直接適用しても、ステアリルジエタノールアミン等を成形体中に均一かつ安定的に配合し、安定的にブリードアウトさせることは必ずしも容易ではない。
本発明においては、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを用い、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量を、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2~25質量部とすることで、成形時のべたつきなく、合理的な添加量でシート、射出成形体、発泡体、ブロー成形体等においても、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを均一かつ安定的に樹脂成形体中に配合し、樹脂成形体に十分な抗菌性能を安定的に付与するとともに、良好な外観を実現することができる。
本発明の樹脂成形体の製造にあたっては、本発明の条件を満たす量のステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを、高分子樹脂中に直接配合してもよいが、ステアリルジエタノールアミン、パルメチンジエタノールアミンそのまま用いると成形時の計量が不安定となるので、所定量のステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミン(並びに必要に応じて他の添加剤)を適当量含むペレット状の樹脂成形体(すなわちマスターバッチ)を準備しておき、最終的に樹脂成形体中のステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの配合量が所望の範囲になるように、マスターバッチと高分子樹脂とを混合することが好ましい。
またハンドリング性を向上させるため、ステアリルジエタノールアミンとパルミチルジエタノールアミンはあらかじめゼオライトに吸着させて樹脂に混練してもよい。
上記マスターバッチを、樹脂成形体を構成する樹脂(ポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドである高分子樹脂2)と混合し、混合後又は混合と同時に成形工程に供することで、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンが均一に拡散した樹脂成形体を製造することができる。
例えば、本発明の樹脂成形体がシートである場合には、土木建築資材、建築用内装材、自動車用内装材、ウイルスを避けるための店舗、机の境界、冷蔵庫のカーテン、冷蔵庫のカーテン等に好適に使用することができる。
また、本発明の樹脂成形体が発泡成形体である場合には、断熱材、梱包材、緩衝材、使い捨て容器、果実包装資等に好適に使用することができる。
また、本発明の樹脂成形体がブロー成形体である場合には、ボトル、包装材、使い捨て衛生容器、食品容器等に好適に使用することができる。
また、本発明の樹脂成形体が射出成形体である場合には、各種部品、まな板、使い捨て容器、使い捨て箸、スプーン、等に好適に使用することができる。
以下のステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを用い、両者の混合物を製造し、その流動性(溶融粘弾性)を測定して、ステアリルジエタノールアミンの流動性と比較した。

結果を表2に示す。
上述の様に常温では粘弾性は測定できず、測定は80℃以上で行った。
その結果、ステアリルジエタノールアミン単体に比べて、パルミチルジエタノールアミン10質量%配合することで流動性が改善しており(動粘度が低下しており)、この傾向は常温でも同様であると推定される。したがって、常温下でマスターバッチ等において用いる際にも、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンは高分子樹脂中をより早く移動し、成形体表面へのブリードが進むことが推定できる。
1.マスターバッチの製造
(1)抗菌成分
ステアリルジエタノールアミン90質量%+パルミチルジエタノールアミン10質量%の混合体(いずれも東邦化学工業株式会社製)
(2)樹脂
直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(株式会社プライムポリマー製)
密度0.920g/cm3、MFR;4.0g/10分、融点:117.3℃
(3)混合条件
ステアリルジエタノールアミン+パルメチンジエタノールアミン混合体濃度が5質量%となるように調整して、下記条件で混合体と低密度ポリエチレンとを混合して、ペレット状の抗菌成分マスターバッチを製造した。
押出機:日本製鋼所製 TEX 44SS-38、58-3V 38mmφ二軸押出機
混合温度:190℃
(1)樹脂
高圧法低密度ポリエチレン(宇部丸善ポリエチレン株式会社製)

a.抗菌成分
上記記載のマスターバッチを2質量%添加し、即ちステアリルジエタノールアミン+パルメチンジエタノールアミン濃度として1000ppmとなるように調整した。
(5%×2質量%=1000ppm)
b.アンチブロッキング成分
シリカ(富士シリシア化学社製、商品名:サイリシア730(平均粒径3μm))10重量%のマスターバッチを用い、シリカ濃度として1000ppmとなるように調整した。
(10%×1重量%=1000ppm)
c.スリップ成分
エルカ酸アミド(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ社製、商品名:ATMERSA1753)10重量%のマスターバッチを用い、シリカ濃度として1000ppmとなるように調整した。
(10%×1重量%=1000ppm)
上記樹脂+添加剤を夫々計量し、1層インフレーション成形機(ダイス径:250mmφ、押出機:55mmφ1台)を用いて、押出温度:60℃~145℃(中間層ホッパー下のみ60℃、あとは145℃)、ダイス温度:160℃、膨張比:3の条件で成形し、フィルムを得、実施例1とした。
フィルムは厚み:50μm、折径で1000mmであった。
成形時において発煙、押出機でのペレットの滑り等のトラブルはなかった。
またフィルム表面のべたつきもなく、表面は均一に美麗であった。
更に比較例1として、上記抗菌成分マスターバッチを添加せず、ステアリルジエタノールアミン+パルミチルジエタノールアミン濃度として0ppmとしたフィルムの成形を行った。抗菌成分濃度以外は実施例1と同じとした。
JISZ2801に準じた抗菌試験を、大腸菌(Escherichia coli)を用いて行った。但し、フィルムの表面の状態を保つためにアルコールによるふき取りは行わなかった。
1/500普通ブイヨン培地に大腸菌(Escherichia coli)を規定数量入れたもの(JIS試験で0.4cc用いるブイヨン)を、評価対象である4cm角のインフレフィルム表面に滴下して、無添加のポリエチレンフィルムとの間に挟み込んだ。35℃で24時間経過した後に鮮度保持フィルム表面を洗浄し、上記普通ブイヨン培地を含む洗浄液を回収し、それを、普通寒天培地を用いて培養してコロニーの数をカウントした。
即ち、顕微鏡下で菌の個数をカウントすることは困難なため、コロニーの数を、目視によりカウントし、その1グラム(g)あたりのコロニーの数を生菌数CFU(colony forming unit)(単位[個/g])とした。また2枚の特定化合物が配合されていないポリエチレンフィルムの間に挟み込んだサンプルをコントロール(Control)として、比較の基準とした。
抗菌試験を折径1000mmのフィルムの赤道方向4か所(即ち500mmピッチ)で行った。その結果を表3に示す。表3のとおり、すべての位置で高い抗菌性が発現することが確認できた。そのためマスターバッチにより、抗菌成分が円周方向に均一に分散していると推定できる。
フィルム表面を指先でこすり、表面の性状の変化から過剰なブリードアウトの有無を評価した。
表面の性状の変化ありを×、なしを○として表3に示す。
実施例1のいずれの測定点においても評価は〇であり、過剰なブリードアウトは抑制されていた。
1.マスターバッチの製造
(1)抗菌成分
抗菌成分として、ステアリルジエタノールアミン(C18DEA)90質量%+パルミチルジエタノールアミン(C16DEA)10質量%の混合体(いずれも東邦化学工業株式会社製)を用いた。
(2)樹脂
マスターバッチを構成する樹脂成分として、成形体(シート)を構成する樹脂に応じて以下から同種の樹脂を選択して使用した。
A(実施例2).ポリエチレン(株式会社プライムポリマー製、ウルトゼックス(登録商標)4050)
・密度:940kg/m3
・MFR:5.0g/10分(190℃、5kgf、ISO1133)、
・融点:127℃
B(実施例3).ポリプロピレン(株式会社プライムポリマー製、E327)
・MFR:3.0g/10分(230℃、5kgf、ISO1133)
・融点:138℃
C(比較例2).ポリスチレン(PSジャパン株式会社製、HF77)
・密度:1050kg/m3
・MFR:7.5g/10分(200℃、5kgf、ISO1133)
・融点:なし(非晶性)
D(実施例4).6ナイロン(東レ株式会社製、アミラン CM1001)
・融点:225℃
E(比較例3).PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ユニチカ株式会社製、NES-2040)
・密度:1410kg/m3
・融点:251℃
ステアリルジエタノールアミン+パルメチンジエタノールアミン混合体濃度が5質量%となるように調整して、下記条件で上記抗菌成分の混合体と上記樹脂とを混合して、ペレット状の抗菌成分マスターバッチを製造した。
・押出機:日本製鋼所製 TEX 44SS-38、58-3V 38mmφ二軸押出機
・混合温度:
A.ポリエチレン 190℃
B.ポリプロピレン 230℃
C.ポリスチレン 200℃
D.6ナイロン 240℃
E.PET 260℃
下記装置を用い、上記AからEの樹脂をそれぞれ用い、対応する樹脂を用いた上記マスターバッチを下表5から9に示すC18DEA+C16DEA濃度(ppm)となる量配合し、樹脂の種類、マスターバッチ配合量等に応じて下表5から9に示す条件で射出成型を行い、試験片を作製した。
・使用装置:電動式射出成型機 NEX140(日精樹脂工業株式会社製)
型締力140tf/スクリュ径φ40/フルフライトスクリュー
・試験片形状:平板状 150mm×150mm×厚み3mm
上記2で得られた射出成形試験片(平板150mm×150mm×厚み3mm)に対して、丸鋸を用いて下記の条件で切削加工を行い、4.表面C18DEA+C16DEA量の測定、及び5.抗菌試験用の試験片を作製した。
・切削形状:平板45mm×45mm×厚み3mm
・切削条件:平板150mm×150mm×厚み3mmより切削
ポリオレフィン製手袋着用にて実施
金型可動側の面の隅にマスキングテープを貼付(図1参照)
・切削枚数:9枚(図1参照)
切削加工した試験片の45mm×45mmの指定面(マスキングテープを貼らない面)2枚を溶剤で洗浄し、洗浄液を回収した。回収洗浄液を適宜定容したものを誘導化GC(FID)に供して、絶対検量線法により定量分析を行い、試験片の指定面表面のC18DEA+C16DEA量を求めた。
試験片AからDは、溶剤としてジクロロメタンを用いて洗浄を行った。試験片C(ポリスチレン)は洗浄面が著しく白濁し、測定ができなかった。試験片E(PET)については、ジクロロメタンに代えて5%ジクロロメタン含有n-ヘキサンを洗浄溶剤とした。
結果を、表10に示す。
一方、ポリスチレンとPETは最大10000ppmのC18DEA+C16DEAを添加しても抗菌活性は得られなかった。
これらの原因は必ずしも明らかではないが、上記にて説明したポリオレフィン、及びポリアミドでのブリードアウト促進のメカニズムが作用していたことが推定される。
Claims (8)
- 高分子樹脂、並びにステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有する樹脂成形体であって、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2~25質量部であり、前記高分子樹脂がポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドを含有する、上記樹脂成形体。
- 前記高分子樹脂が、ポリエチレン、及びポリプロピレン、並びにナイロンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する、請求項1に記載の樹脂成形体。
- シート、射出成形体、発泡体又はブロー成形体である、請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂成形体。
- ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量(質量基準)が、合計で50ppm~5.0%である、請求項請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂成形体。
- ポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドである高分子樹脂1、並びにステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有し、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2~25質量部であるマスターバッチを、さらにポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドである高分子樹脂2と混合する工程を有する、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂成形体の製造方法。
- 前記マスターバッチが、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを合計で3~30質量%含有する、請求項5に記載の樹脂成形体の製造方法。
- ポリオレフィン、又はポリアミドである高分子樹脂1、並びにステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを含有し、パルミチルジエタノールアミンの含有量が、ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンの合計量100質量部に対して2~25質量部であるマスターバッチ。
- ステアリルジエタノールアミン及びパルミチルジエタノールアミンを合計で3~30質量%含有する、請求項7に記載のマスターバッチ。
