Un article de filtration est divulgué, comprenant un corps en nid d'abeilles obturé (200); des dépôts (320) de particules minérales (325) à l'intérieur du corps de filtre en nid d'abeilles obturé (200), les dépôts (320) présentant une porosité dans une plage supérieure à 95 % à inférieure ou égale à 99,9 % et une épaisseur moyenne dans une plage supérieure ou égale à 0,5 µm à inférieure ou égale à 100 µm, l'article de filtration présentant une efficacité de filtration propre supérieure ou égale à 80 % telle que mesurée par le pourcentage de gouttelettes filtrées dans un test d'efficacité de filtration d'aérosol en phase liquide. Des procédés de formation de l'article sont également divulgués.
