Abstract

L'invention concerne une fenêtre à battants comprenant un cadre définissant une ouverture de fenêtre et au moins un châssis à battants. Le châssis à battants est monté mobile par rapport au cadre de sorte que le châssis à battants est mobile par rapport au cadre entre une position fermée dans laquelle le châssis à battants ferme l'ouverture de fenêtre et une position ouverte dans laquelle il ne la ferme pas. Au moins un élément d'étanchéité thermoactivable est disposé de sorte que l'élément d'étanchéité est disposé entre le cadre et le châssis à battants lorsque le châssis à battants est en position fermée. L'élément d'étanchéité activé par la chaleur est configuré pour se dilater pour fournir un joint d'étanchéité entre le cadre et le châssis à battants lorsqu'il est chauffé à une température d'activation prédéterminée.
