Description

アミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物、硬化剤、エポキシ樹脂組成物、アミンイミド化合物の製造方法、封止材、及び接着剤
 本発明は、アミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物、硬化剤、エポキシ樹脂組成物、アミンイミド化合物の製造方法、封止材、及び接着剤に関する。
 エポキシ樹脂は、その硬化物が、機械的特性、電気的特性、熱的特性、耐薬品性、接着性等の点で優れた性能を有することから、従来から、塗料、電気電子用絶縁材料、接着剤等の幅広い用途に利用されている。
 現在一般的に使用されているエポキシ樹脂組成物は、使用時にエポキシ樹脂と硬化剤の二液を混合する、いわゆる二液性エポキシ樹脂組成物である。
 二液性エポキシ樹脂組成物は、室温で硬化し得る反面、エポキシ樹脂と硬化剤を別々に保管し、使用の都度、計量、混合する必要があるため、保管や取り扱いが煩雑であり、さらには、可使用時間が限られているため、予め大量に混合しておくことができない、という問題点を有している。
 上述したような二液性エポキシ樹脂組成物の問題点を解決する目的で、これまでいくつかの一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物が提案されてきている(例えば、特許文献1~3参照)。例えば、潜在性硬化剤を、エポキシ樹脂に配合したエポキシ樹脂組成物が挙げられる。
 また、昨今の電子デバイス機器に対する要求は、小型化、高機能化、軽量化、高機能化、多機能化、と多岐に亘っており、例えば半導体のチップの実装技術においても電極パッドとパッドピッチのファインピッチ化による一層の微細化、小型化、高密度化が求められている。そのため、チップと基板の隙間に用いる接着剤としてのアンダーフィルには、より狭いギャップに浸透することが求められている。

 一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物を構成する潜在性硬化剤には、エポキシ樹脂と混合した後の良好な硬化性と保存安定性の両立が求められており、さらには電子部材の狭ギャップ部位や炭素繊維やガラス繊維等の密集繊維間への良好な浸透性も求められているが、未だこれらの特性を満足する潜在性硬化剤は得られていない。
 例えば、特許文献1には、硬化剤としてイミダゾールをアクリレートで変性した液状ビスイミダゾール化合物が開示されているが、保存安定性には改善の余地がある、という問題点を有している。
 また、特許文献2には、1-アミノピロリジンを用いたアミンイミド化合物が開示されているが、固体であるため常温での浸透性に劣る、という問題点を有している。
 さらに、特許文献3には、液状のアミンイミド化合物が開示されているが、自己反応性物質かつ毒物に指定されている1,1-ジメチルヒドラジンを原料に用いているため、取り扱いが容易ではないという問題点を有している。
 そこで、本発明においては、上述した従来技術の問題点に鑑み、浸透性に優れ、優れた硬化性と保存安定性を有するアミンイミド系化合物を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは鋭意検討した結果、特定構造のアミンイミド化合物が、浸透性、硬化性、保存安定性に優れていることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
 すなわち、本発明は以下のとおりである。

 本発明によれば、浸透性に優れ、優れた硬化性と保存安定性を有する潜在性硬化剤を提供することができる。
 以下、本発明を実施するための形態(以下、単に「本実施形態」という。)について詳細に説明する。本実施形態は、本発明を説明するための例示であり、本発明を以下の内容に限定する趣旨ではない。本発明はその趣旨の範囲内で適宜に変形して実施できる。
〔アミンイミド化合物〕
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、下記式(1)、(2)又は(3)で表される。

 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、アミンイミド化合物の状態では硬化性能を有する置換基が存在しないため、室温においてエポキシ樹脂と相溶させてもエポキシ基との付加反応は起こらない。しかし、以下の反応式で表されるように、加熱することでN-N結合が開裂し、アシルナイトレンと3級アミンを生じる。さらにアシルナイトレンは1,2-転移反応によりイソシアネートとなる。ここで生成したイソシアネートと3級アミンは硬化性能を有しており、エポキシ基と付加反応を起こして硬化に至る。すなわち、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、潜在性硬化剤として機能する。

 また、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、水酸基を有しているため、以下の反応式で表されるように、加熱により生成したイソシアネートと3級アミンの付加反応が起こり、1分子中に3級アミンとウレタン結合を有する構造へと変化する。この構造はイソシアネートと3級アミンより優れた硬化性能を有するため、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は優れた硬化性能を有する潜在性硬化剤として機能する。

 なお、式(2)で表される化合物は、n価の結合基R1により式(1)で表される化合物が連結された化合物であり、式(3)で表される化合物は、n価の結合基R4により式(1)で表される化合物が連結された化合物である。式(2)で表される化合物の場合、加熱により、n価のイソシアネート化合物と1価の三級アミンを生成し、式(3)で表される化合物の場合、加熱により、1価のイソシアネート化合物とn価の三級アミンを生成する。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物のN-N結合の分解温度の頂点温度(Tpeak)は、好ましくは100℃以上250℃以下であり、より好ましくは100℃以上220℃以下であり、さらに好ましくは100℃以上200℃以下であり、さらにより好ましくは100℃以上180℃以下である。
 Tpeakが100℃以上であることにより、保存安定性がより向上する傾向にある。また、Tpeakが250℃以下であることにより、アミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。なお、ここで、N-N結合の分解温度の頂点温度(Tpeak)とは、N-N結合の分解に係る発熱ピークの頂点温度であって、示差熱分析における発熱ピークのピーク温度をいう。
 また、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物のN-N結合の分解温度の立ち上がり温度(Tonset)は、好ましくは80℃以上200℃以下であり、より好ましくは80℃以上185℃以下であり、さらに好ましくは80℃以上170℃以下であり、さらにより好ましくは80℃以上160℃以下である。
 Tonsetが80℃以上であることにより、保存安定性がより向上する傾向にある。また、Tonsetが200℃以下であることにより、アミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。なお、ここで、N-N結合の分解温度の立ち上がり温度(Tonset)とは、示差熱分析における発熱ピークの立ち上がり温度をいう。より具体的には、発熱ピークの立ち上がり部分の最大傾斜の接線と、基線(ベースライン)の外挿線との交点を立ち上がり温度(Tonset)とする。
 前記頂点温度(Tpeak)と前記立ち上がり温度(Tonset)の差(Tpeak-Tonset)は、好ましくは45℃以下であり、より好ましくは40℃以下であり、さらに好ましくは35℃以下であり、さらにより好ましくは30℃以下である。差(Tpeak-Tonset)が45℃以下であることにより、加熱によるN-N結合の分解が速やかに進行し、硬化反応の反応急峻性がより向上する傾向にある。また、差(Tpeak-Tonset)の下限は、特に制限されないが、好ましくは5℃以上であり、より好ましくは10℃以上であり、さらに好ましくは15℃以上である。
 頂点温度(Tpeak)、立ち上がり温度(Tonset)、及び差(Tpeak-Tonset)は、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物の官能基を調整することにより制御することができる。例えば、R1は、N-N結合の開裂の低エネルギー化に寄与し、R2及びR3は、立体障害による不安定化による開裂反応の低エネルギー化に寄与しやすい傾向にある。したがって、後述するR1、R2及びR3として、硬化性能の向上に寄与する基やそれ以外の基を適宜組み合わせて用いることにより、これら温度を制御することができる。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、常温において液状の化合物であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態においては、常温において液状であることを表す指標として、25℃における粘度を用いることができる。本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物の25℃における粘度は、1300Pa・s以下であることが好ましく、より好ましくは900Pa・s以下であり、さらに好ましくは800Pa・s以下であり、さらにより好ましくは700Pa・s以下である。
 なお、25℃における粘度の下限値は特に制限されないが、0.01Pa・s以上であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物が常温において液状の化合物であり、特に、25℃における粘度が1300Pa・s以下であることにより、エポキシ樹脂組成物への溶解性や分散性、基材等への浸透性がより向上する。
 なお、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物の粘度は、式(1)~式(3)中のR1~R4の官能基を調整することにより、上記数値範囲に制御できる。
 式(1)、(2)又は(3)における、R1は、N-N結合の開裂の低エネルギー化に寄与し、R2及びR3は、立体障害による不安定化による開裂反応の低エネルギー化に寄与し、R4は、化合物の液状化、得られる硬化物のガラス転移温度の低下の抑制に寄与すると考えられるが、特に制限されない。以下、各基の詳細について説明する。
 式(1)、(2)及び(3)中、R1は、各々独立して、水素原子、又は、水酸基、カルボニル基、エステル結合、若しくはエーテル結合を有していてもよい、炭素数1~15の、1価又はn価の有機基を表す。このような有機基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、炭化水素基、炭化水素基中の炭素原子に結合した水素原子が、水酸基又はカルボニル基により置換された基、又は、炭化水素基を構成する炭素原子の一部がエステル結合やエーテル結合に置き換えられた基が挙げられる。このような炭化水素基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、へプチル基、オクチル基、エチルヘキシル基等の直鎖状、分岐状、又は環状のアルキル基;ビニル基、プロピニル基、ブチニル基、ペンチニル基、ヘキシニル基、オクチニル基、デシニル基、ドデシニル基、ヘキサデシニル基、オクタデシニル基等のアルケニル基;フェニル基等アリール基;又は、メチルフェニル基、エチルフェニル基、プロピルフェニル基等のアルキル基とフェニル基の組み合わせからなるアラルキル基が挙げられる。
 また、R1で表される有機基は、その他置換基を有してもよい。置換基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、ハロゲン原子、アルコキシ基、カルボニル基、シアノ基、アゾ基、アジ基、チオール基、スルホ基、ニトロ基、ヒドロキシ基、アシル基、アルデヒド基が挙げられる。
 R1が表す有機基の炭素数は1~15であり、好ましくは1~12であり、より好ましくは1~7である。R1が表す有機基の炭素数が上記範囲内であることにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。また、R1が表す有機基の炭素数が上記範囲内であることにより、原料の入手容易性がより向上する。
 上記の中でも、式(1)又は(3)におけるR1は、下記式(4)又は(5)、で表される基であることが好ましい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。

(式(4)、(5)中、R11は、各々独立して、炭素数1~5のアルキル基、炭素数1~5のアルコキシ基、アリール基、又は、炭素数7~9のアラルキル基を表し、nは、各々独立して、0~6の整数を示す。)
 上記の中でも、式(5)においてnが0又は1である基が好ましい。これにより、式(1)又は(3)で表される化合物は、R1-C(=O)-構造中に、ジケトン構造を有する。このようなジケトン構造は、アミンイミド化合物の硬化性能をより向上させる傾向にある。
 なお、式(4)又は(5)におけるR11の炭素数とnは、式(4)又は(5)で表される基の炭素数の最大値が15を超えないように調整される。
 また、式(2)におけるR1は、下記式(6)又は(7)、で表される基であることが好ましい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。

 上記の中でも、式(7)においてR13は単結合又はメチル基が好ましい。これにより、式(2)で表される化合物は、R1-C(=O)-構造中に、ジケトン構造を有する。このようなジケトン構造は、アミンイミド化合物の硬化性能をより向上させる傾向にある。
 式(1)、(2)及び(3)中、R2及びR3は、各々独立して、未置換又は置換基を有する、炭素数1~12のアルキル基、アリール基、アラルキル基、又はR2及びR3が連結した炭素数7以下のヘテロ環を表す。
 R2又はR3で表される炭素数1~12のアルキル基としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、n-ブチル基、n-ペンチル基、n-ヘキシル基、n-オクチル基、n-デシル基、n-ドデシル基等の直鎖状アルキル基;イソプロピル基、イソブチル基、t-ブチル基、ネオペンチル基、2-ヘキシル基、2-オクチル基、2-デシル基、2-ドデシル基等の分岐状アルキル基;シクロプロピル基、シクロブチル基、シクロペンチル基、シクロヘキシル基、シクロオクチル基、シクロデシル基、シクロドデシル基等の環状アルキル基が挙げられる。また、上記アルキル基は、直鎖状アルキル基又は分岐状アルキル基と環状アルキル基とを組み合わせたものであってもよい。さらに、上記アルキル基は、不飽和結合基を含んでいてもよい。
 R2又はR3で表されるアルキル基の炭素数は、各々独立して、1~12であり、好ましくは2~10であり、より好ましくは5~10である。非対称ジアルキルヒドラジンのアルキル基の炭素数が少ないジメチルヒドラジンなどの化合物は、爆発などの危険の他、人体への有毒性があるが、R2又はR3で表されるアルキル基の炭素数を2以上とすることにより、このような毒性等のリスクのある原料の使用を回避することができる。また、R2又はR3で表されるアルキル基の炭素数を5以上とすることにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。
 また、R2又はR3で表されるアリール基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、フェニル基、ナフチル基が挙げられる。さらに、R2又はR3で表されるアラルキル基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、メチルフェニル基、エチルフェニル基、メチルナフチル基、ジメチルナフチル基が挙げられる。このなかでも、R2及びR3は、少なくとも一方がアラルキル基であることが好ましく、メチルフェニル基(ベンジル基)がより好ましい。これにより、アミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。なお、R2又はR3で表されるアリール基及びアラルキル基の炭素数は、特に制限されないが、6~20であることが好ましい。
 R2又はR3で表されるアルキル基、アリール基、又はアラルキル基の置換基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、ハロゲン原子、アルコキシ基、カルボニル基、シアノ基、アゾ基、アジ基、チオール基、スルホ基、ニトロ基、ヒドロキシ基、アシル基、アルデヒド基が挙げられる。
 R2及びR3は、連結して炭素数7以下のヘテロ環を構成してもよい。このようなヘテロ環としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、下記式(8)で表される、R23と式(1)、(2)又は(3)中のN+により形成されるヘテロ環が挙げられる。なお、R23は、R2及びR3が連結した基を示す。

 R23とN+とが形成するヘテロ環としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、アゼチジン環等の4員環;ピロリジン環、ピロール環、モルホリン環、チアジン環等の5員環;ピペリジン環等の6員環;ヘキサメチレンイミン環、アゼピン環等の7員環等が挙げられる。
 このなかでも、ヘテロ環としては、ピロール環、モルホリン環、チアジン環、ピペリジン環、ヘキサメチレンイミン環、アゼピン環が好ましく、6員環及び7員環がより好ましい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。
 また、置換基としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、アルキル基、アリール基、又は上述したR2及びR3における置換基が挙げられる。さらに、ヘテロ環が置換基としてアルキル基を有する場合、N+に隣接する炭素原子に結合したメチル基などを例示することができる。
 式(1)、(2)及び(3)中、R4は、水素原子、又は、酸素原子を含んでもよい、炭素数1~30の、1価又はn価の有機基を表す。このような有機基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、炭化水素基、炭化水素基中の炭素原子に結合した水素原子が、水酸基、カルボニル基、又はケイ素原子を含む基により置換された基、又は、炭化水素基を構成する炭素原子の一部がエステル結合やエーテル結合、ケイ素原子に置き換えられた基が挙げられる。このような炭化水素基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基、ヘキシル基、へプチル基、オクチル基、エチルヘキシル基等の直鎖状、分岐状、又は環状のアルキル基;ビニル基、プロピニル基、ブチニル基、ペンチニル基、ヘキシニル基、オクチニル基、デシニル基、ドデシニル基、ヘキサデシニル基、オクタデシニル基等のアルケニル基;フェニル基等のアリール基;又は、メチルフェニル基、エチルフェニル基、プロピルフェニル基等のアルキル基とフェニル基の組み合わせからなるアラルキル基が挙げられる。
 また、R4で表される炭化水素基には、ビスフェノールA型骨格、ビスフェノールAP型骨格、ビスフェノールB型骨格、ビスフェノールC型骨格、ビスフェノールE型骨格、ビスフェノールF型骨格などのビスフェノール骨格が含まれる。ビスフェノール骨格を含む有機基としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、各ビスフェノール骨格の水酸基にポリオキシアルキレン基が付加した基が挙げられる。
 これらのなかでも、式(1)又は(2)におけるR4で表される有機基は、アルキル基、アルケニル基、アラルキル基が好ましく、アルキル基、アルケニル基がより好ましく、分岐状アルキル基及び分岐状アルケニル基がさらに好ましい。なお、これら好ましい基は置換基を有してもよい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。また、アミンイミド化合物を用いて得られる硬化物のTgがより向上する傾向にある。
 R4が表す有機基の炭素数は、上述したように1~30であり、好ましくは1~20であり、より好ましくは1~15であり、さらに好ましくは1~8である。R4が表す有機基の炭素数が前記範囲内であることにより、前記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。また、アミンイミド化合物を用いて得られる硬化物のTgがより向上し、さらに、R4が表す有機基の炭素数が上記範囲内であることにより、原料の入手容易性がより向上する。
 上記の中でも、式(1)又は(2)におけるR4は、直鎖状若しくは分岐状の炭素数3~12のアルキル基、又は、直鎖状若しくは分岐状の炭素数3~6のアルケニル基が好ましい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。
 また、式(3)におけるR4は、下記式(9)又は(10)で表される基であることが好ましい。このような基を有することにより、上記粘度を充足する液状のアミンイミド化合物が得られやすく、またアミンイミド化合物の硬化性能がより向上する傾向にある。

(式(9)、(10)中、R41及びR42は、各々独立して、炭素数1~5のアルキル基、アリール基、又は、アラルキル基を表し、nは、各々独立して、0~10の整数を示す。)
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、前記式(2)又は(3)で表され、式(2)又は(3)中のnが2又は3であることが好ましく、nが2であることがより好ましい。これにより、硬化性の向上の効果が得られる。
〔アミンイミド組成物〕
 本実施形態のアミンイミド組成物は、前記式(1)、(2)又は(3)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を複数含む。アミンイミド組成物は、硬化温度制御又は粘度制御の観点から、特性の向上効果が得られるため、本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物を複数含むものとする。なお、同じ式で表されるが構造が異なるアミンイミド化合物を複数含んでもよい。
 特に粘度制御の観点からは、前記式(1)及び式(3)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を含むアミンイミド組成物であることが好ましい。
 アミンイミド化合物を複数含む場合、その含有割合に関しては、前記式(1)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を0.1質量%~99.5質量%含むものとすることにより粘度制御が容易になる傾向にある。
 アミンイミド化合物を複数含むアミンイミド組成物とする場合、複数のアミンイミド化合物を混合することにより得てもよく、後述するアミンイミド化合物の製造方法において、複数のアミンイミド化合物を同時に製造することによって得ることもできる。
〔アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物の製造方法〕
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物の製造方法は、上記構造を有するアミンイミド化合物を得られる方法であれば特に制限されない。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド組成物の製造方法は、後述する方法により得た複数のアミンイミド化合物を混合する方法、複数種のアミンイミド化合物を同時に製造し、混合体を得る方法がある。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物の製造方法としては、例えば、カルボン酸エステル化合物(A)、ヒドラジン化合物(B)、及びグリシジルエーテル化合物(C)、を反応させる反応工程を有する方法が挙げられる。
 以下、当該製造方法について説明する。
 カルボン酸エステル化合物(A)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、モノカルボン酸エステル化合物やジカルボン酸エステル化合物が挙げられる。
 モノカルボン酸エステル化合物の具体例としては、乳酸メチル、乳酸エチル、マンデル酸メチル、酢酸メチル、プロピオン酸メチル、酪酸メチル、イソ酪酸メチル、吉草酸メチル、イソ吉草メチル、ピバル酸メチル、ヘプタン酸メチル、オクタン酸メチル、アクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸メチル、クロトン酸メチル、イソクロトン酸メチル、ベンゾイルギ酸メチル、2-メトキシベンゾイルメチル、3-メトキシベンゾイルメチル、4-メトキシベンゾイルメチル、2-エトキシベンゾイルメチル、4-t-ブトキシベンゾイルメチル等が挙げられる。また、これらに替えて、エチルエステル類、プロピルエステル類等を用いてもよい。ジカルボン酸エステル化合物の具体例としては、しゅう酸ジメチル、マロン酸ジメチル、こはく酸ジメチル、酒石酸ジメチル、グルタル酸ジメチル、アジピン酸ジメチル、ピメリン酸ジメチル、スベリン酸ジメチル、アゼライン酸ジメチル、セバシン酸ジメチル、マレイン酸ジメチル、フマル酸ジメチル、イタコン酸ジメチル、フタル酸ジメチル、イソフタル酸ジメチル、テレフタル酸ジメチル、1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジメチル、及び1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジエチル等が挙げられる。また、これらに替えて、ジエチルエステル類、ジプロピルエステル類等を用いてもよい。
 これらの中でも、硬化性と液状化の観点から、乳酸エチル、マンデル酸メチル、酢酸メチル、プロピオン酸メチル、酪酸メチル、イソ酪酸メチル、吉草酸メチル、イソ吉草メチル、ピバル酸メチルアクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸メチル、クロトン酸メチル、イソクロトン酸メチル、ベンゾイルギ酸メチル、しゅう酸ジメチル、マロン酸ジメチル、こはく酸ジメチル、酒石酸ジメチル、グルタル酸ジメチル、アジピン酸ジメチル、ピメリン酸ジメチル、スベリン酸ジメチル、アゼライン酸ジメチル、マレイン酸ジメチル、フマル酸ジメチル、フタル酸ジメチル、イソフタル酸ジメチル、テレフタル酸ジメチル、1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジメチル、及び1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジエチルが好ましい。
 さらにこれらの中でも、入手容易性の観点から、乳酸エチル、マンデル酸メチル、ベンゾイルギ酸メチル、しゅう酸ジメチル、マロン酸ジメチル、こはく酸ジメチル、グルタル酸ジメチル、アジピン酸ジメチル、及び1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジエチルがより好ましい。カルボン酸エステル化合物(A)は、1種単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 ヒドラジン化合物(B)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ジメチルヒドラジン、ジエチルヒドラジン、メチルエチルヒドラジン、メチルプロピルヒドラジン、メチルブチルヒドラジン、メチルペンチルヒドラジン、メチルヘキシルヒドラジン、エチルプロピルヒドラジン、エチルブチルヒドラジン、エチルペンチルヒドラジン、エチルヘキシルヒドラジン、ジプロピルヒドラジン、ジブチルヒドラジン、ジペンチルヒドラジン、ジヘキシルヒドラジン、メチルフェニルヒドラジン、エチルフェニルヒドラジン、メチルトリルヒドラジン、エチルトリルヒドラジン、ジフェニルヒドラジン、ベンジルフェニルヒドラジン、ジベンジルヒドラジン、ジニトロフェニルヒドラジン、1-アミノピペリジン、N-アミノホモピペリジン、1-アミノ-2,6-ジメチルピペリジン、1-アミノピロリジン、1-アミノ-2-メチルピロリジン、1-アミノ-2-フェニルピロリジン、及び1-アミノモルホリン等が挙げられる。
 これらの中でも、硬化性と液状化の観点から、ジメチルヒドラジン、ジベンジルヒドラジン、1-アミノピペリジン、1-アミノピロリジン、及び1-アミノモルホリンが好ましい。さらにこれらの中でも、入手容易性と安全性から、ジベンジルヒドラジン、及び1-アミノピペリジンがより好ましい。ヒドラジン化合物(B)は、1種単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 グリシジルエーテル化合物(C)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、単官能のモノグリシジルエーテル化合物や2官能以上のポリグリシジルエーテル化合物を用いることができる。モノグリシジルエーテル化合物の具体例としては、メチルグリシジルエーテル、エチルグリシジルエーテル、n-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、t-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル、ドデシルグリシジルエーテル高級アルコールグリシジルエーテル、アリルグリシジルエーテル、フェニルグリシジルエーテル、クレジルグリシジルエーテル、オルソフェニルフェノールグリシジルエーテル、ベンジルグリシジルエーテル、ビフェニリルグリシジルエーテル、4-t-ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテル、t-ブチルジメチルシリルグリシジルエーテル、3-[ジエトキシ(メチル)シリル]プロピルグリシジルエーテル等が挙げられる。ポリグリシジルエーテル化合物の具体例としては、エチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、プロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、トリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ネオペンチルグリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ブタンジオールグリシジルエーテル、ヘキサンジオールグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル、グリセリンポリグリシジルエーテル、ジグリセリンポリグリシジルエーテル、ポリグリセリンポリグリシジルエーテル、ソルビトールポリグリシジルエーテル等の脂肪族系ポリグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールF型ジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールS型ジグリシジルエーテル、エチレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、プロピレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、及びこれらの縮合物の水素化物等の脂環族系ポリグリシジルエーテル化合物、レゾルシノールジグリシジルエーテル等の芳香族系ポリグリシジルエーテル化合物などが挙げられる。
 これらの中でも、硬化性と液状化の観点から、メチルグリシジルエーテル、エチルグリシジルエーテル、n-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、t-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル、アリルグリシジルエーテル、フェニルグリシジルエーテル、t-ブチルジメチルシリルグリシジルエーテル、エチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ネオペンチルグリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ブタンジオールグリシジルエーテル、ヘキサンジオールグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールF型ジグリシジルエーテル、エチレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、プロピレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテルが好ましい。
 さらにこれらの中でも、入手容易性と硬化物のTgの観点から、n-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、t-ブチルグリシジルエーテル、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル、アリルグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル、エチレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテル、ブタンジオールグリシジルエーテル、ヘキサンジオールグリシジルエーテル、及びプロピレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型ジグリシジルエーテルがより好ましい。グリシジルエーテル化合物(C)は、1種単独で用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 反応系に対するカルボン酸エステル化合物(A)、ヒドラジン化合物(B)、及びグリシジルエーテル化合物(C)の添加量は、官能基のモル比で表すことができる。カルボン酸エステル化合物(A)のカルボン酸エステル基は、ヒドラジン化合物(B)の1級アミン1モルに対し、好ましくは0.8~3.0モルであり、より好ましくは0.9~2.8モルであり、さらに好ましくは0.95~2.5モルである。また、グリシジルエーテル化合物(C)のグリシジル基は、ヒドラジン化合物(B)の1級アミン1モルに対し、好ましくは0.8~2.0モルであり、より好ましくは0.9~1.5モルであり、さらに好ましくは0.95~1.4モルである。
 グリシジルエーテル化合物(C)のグリシジル基の、ヒドラジン化合物(B)の1級アミン1モルに対する添加量を制御することで、式(1)及び式(3)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を含むアミンイミド組成物を同時に製造することができる。具体的にはグリシジルエーテル化合物(C)のグリシジル基は、ヒドラジン化合物(B)の1級アミン1モルに対し、好ましくは0.1~3.0モルであり、より好ましくは0.3~2.0モルであり、さらに好ましくは0.5~1.0モルである。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物の製造方法においては、前記(A)~(C)成分の反応は、溶媒を用いなくても反応が進行するが、反応を均一に進行させる観点から、溶媒を用いることが好ましい。
 溶媒は、(A)~(C)成分と反応しないものであれば、特に限定されないが、例えば、メタノール、エタノール、1-プロパノール、2-プロパノール、ブタノール、t-ブチルアルコール等のアルコール類;テトラヒドロフラン、ジエチルエーテル等のエーテル類などが挙げられる。
 反応温度は、好ましくは10~70℃であり、より好ましくは20~60℃である。反応温度が10℃以上であることにより、反応の進行が速くなり、得られるアミンイミド化合物の純度がより向上する傾向にある。また、反応温度が60℃以下であることにより、グリシジルエーテル化合物(C)同士の高分子化反応を効率よく抑制できるため、アミンイミド化合物の純度がより向上する傾向にある。
 反応時間としては、好ましくは、1~7日であり、より好ましくは1~6日であり、さらに好ましくは1~4日である。
 反応終了後、得られた反応物は、洗浄、抽出、再結晶、カラムクロマトグラフィー等の公知の精製方法により、精製することができる。例えば、有機溶剤に溶解させた反応液を水により洗浄した後に、有機層を常圧或いは減圧下で加熱することによって、未反応の原料や有機溶剤を反応液から除去し、アミンイミド化合物を回収することができる。さらには、得られた反応物を、カラムクロマトグラフィーで精製し、アミンイミド化合物を回収することができる。
 洗浄に用いる溶媒は、原料の残留物が溶解できれば特に限定はされないが、収率、純度、除去容易性の観点から、ヘキサン、ペンタン、シクロヘキサンが好ましい。
 抽出に用いる有機溶剤は、目的のアミンイミド化合物が溶解できれば特に限定されないが、収率、純度、除去容易性の観点から、酢酸エチル、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルム、四塩化炭素、トルエン、ジエチルエーテル、メチルイソブチルケトンが好ましく、酢酸エチル、クロロホルム、トルエン、メチルイソブチルケトンがより好ましい。
 カラムクロマトグラフィーに用いる充填剤は、アルミナ、シリカゲル等の公知のものを用いることができ、また、展開溶媒は、酢酸エチル、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルム、四塩化炭素、テトラヒドロフラン、ジエチルエーテル、アセトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、アセトニトリル、メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール等の公知のものを単独又は混合して用いることができる。
〔硬化剤〕
 本実施形態の硬化剤は、上述した本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物、又はアミンイミド組成物を含有する。
 本実施形態の硬化剤は、アミンイミド化合物、又はアミンイミド組成物以外の、その他の成分を含んでもよい。
 その他の成分としては、例えば、無機充填剤、難燃剤、コアシェルゴム粒子、シランカップリング剤、離型剤、顔料等の他の配合剤が挙げられる。本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物、又はアミンイミド組成物以外のその他の成分を含む場合、その含有量は、90質量%以下であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物は、常温で液状であることが好ましい形態であり、かかる場合、特にエポキシ樹脂との相溶性に優れ、その他の成分を添加したエポキシ樹脂組成物としても、好適に用いることができる。以下、エポキシ樹脂組成物について説明する。
〔エポキシ樹脂組成物〕
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、エポキシ樹脂(α)と、上述の本実施形態の硬化剤(β)と、を含む。本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、必要に応じて、上述の本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物以外の他の硬化剤や、各種用途のエポキシ樹脂組成物において用いることが一般に知られている任意成分を更に含有してもよい。
 エポキシ樹脂(α)としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAD型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールM型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールP型エポキシ樹脂、テトラブロモビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、テトラメチルビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、テトラブロモビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、ジフェニルエーテル型エポキシ樹脂、ベンゾフェノン型エポキシ樹脂、フェニルベンゾエート型エポキシ樹脂、ジフェニルスルフィド型エポキシ樹脂、ジフェニルスルホキシド型エポキシ樹脂、ジフェニルスルホン型エポキシ樹脂、ジフェニルジスルフィド型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、アントラセン型エポキシ樹脂、ヒドロキノン型エポキシ樹脂、メチルヒドロキノン型エポキシ樹脂、ジブチルヒドロキノン型エポキシ樹脂、レゾルシン型エポキシ樹脂、メチルレゾルシン型エポキシ樹脂、カテコール型エポキシ樹脂、N,N-ジグリシジルアニリン型エポキシ樹脂、エチレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、プロピレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、エチレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、プロピレンオキサイド付加型ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂等の2官能型エポキシ樹脂類;トリスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂、N,N-ジグリシジルアミノベンゼン型エポキシ樹脂、o-(N,N-ジグリシジルアミノ)トルエン型エポキシ樹脂、トリアジン型エポキシ樹脂、エチレンオキサイド付加型トリスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂、プロピレンオキサイド付加型トリスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂等の3官能型エポキシ樹脂類;テトラグリシジルジアミノジフェニルメタン型エポキシ樹脂、ジアミノベンゼン型エポキシ樹脂等の4官能型エポキシ樹脂類;フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、クレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、トリフェニルメタン型エポキシ樹脂、テトラフェニルエタン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、ナフトールアラルキル型エポキシ樹脂、ブロモ化フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂等の多官能型エポキシ樹脂類;及び脂環式エポキシ樹脂類が挙げられる。これらは1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上併用してもよい。さらに、これらをイソシアネート等で変性したエポキシ樹脂等も併用することができる。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、上述の硬化剤(β)以外の他の硬化剤を併用してもよい。他の硬化剤としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、イミダゾール類、ジアミノジフェニルメタン、ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、ジエチレントリアミン、トリエチレンテトラミン、イソホロンジアミン、ポリアルキレングリコールポリアミン、リノレン酸の2量体とエチレンジアミンとより合成されるポリアミド樹脂等のアミン系硬化剤;ジシアンジアミド等のアミド系硬化剤;無水フタル酸、無水トリメリット酸、無水ピロメリット酸、無水マレイン酸、テトラヒドロ無水フタル酸、メチルテトラヒドロ無水フタル酸、無水メチルナジック酸、ヘキサヒドロ無水フタル酸、メチルヘキサヒドロ無水フタル酸等の酸無水物系硬化剤;フェノールノボラック樹脂、クレゾールノボラック樹脂、フェノールアラルキル樹脂、クレゾールアラルキル樹脂、ナフトールアラルキル樹脂、ビフェニル変性フェノール樹脂、ビフェニル変性フェノールアラルキル樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン変性フェノール樹脂、アミノトリアジン変性フェノール樹脂、ナフトールノボラック樹脂、ナフトール-フェノール共縮合ノボラック樹脂、ナフトール-クレゾール共縮合ノボラック樹脂等の多価フェノール化合物類及びこれらの変性物等のフェノール系硬化剤;BF3-アミン錯体、グアニジン誘導体等が挙げられる。これらの硬化剤は1種単独で使用してもよいし、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 前記硬化剤(β)以外の他の硬化剤の中でも、浸透性を重視する場合は、酸無水物系硬化剤(γ)を、さらに含むことが好ましい。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物において、硬化剤として用いる場合の硬化剤(β)の含有量は、エポキシ樹脂(α)の総量100質量部に対して、好ましくは1~50質量部であり、より好ましくは1~30質量部であり、さらに好ましくは2~20質量部である。硬化剤(β)の含有量を前記範囲とすることにより、硬化反応が十分に促進するとともに、一層良好な硬化物性が得られる傾向にある。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物において、硬化剤(β)以外の他の硬化剤を含有するものとした場合であって、硬化剤(β)を硬化促進剤として用いる場合には、硬化剤(β)の含有量は、エポキシ樹脂(α)の総量100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.1~30質量部であり、より好ましくは0.5~20質量部であり、さらに好ましくは1~15質量部である。硬化促進剤としての硬化剤(β)の含有量を上記範囲とすることにより、他の硬化剤の硬化触媒として機能し、硬化反応が十分に促進するとともに、一層良好な硬化物性が得られる傾向にある。
 本実施形態のアミンイミド化合物を含む硬化剤(β)を硬化促進剤として用い、上述した酸無水物系硬化剤(γ)を硬化剤として用いるエポキシ樹脂組成物においては、エポキシ樹脂(α)のエポキシ基に対する、酸無水物系硬化剤(γ)の酸無水物基の当量比(酸無水物基/エポキシ基)は、好ましくは0.80~1.20であり、より好ましくは0.85~1.15であり、さらに好ましくは0.90~1.10である。
 エポキシ樹脂(α)と酸無水物系硬化剤(γ)の使用量を上記範囲とすることにより、硬化反応が十分に促進するとともに、一層良好な硬化物性が得られる傾向にある。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、必要に応じて無機充填剤を更に含有してもよい。無機充填剤としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、溶融シリカ、結晶シリカ、アルミナ、タルク、窒化ケイ素、窒化アルミ等が挙げられる。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物において、無機充填剤の含有量は、本実施形態の効果が得られる範囲であれば特に限定されない。本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物において、無機充填剤の含有量は、通常、90質量%以下であることが好ましい。無機充填剤の含有量を上記範囲とすることにより、エポキシ樹脂組成物の粘度が十分低く、取扱性に優れる傾向にある。
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、必要に応じて、難燃剤、シランカップリング剤、離型剤、顔料等の他の配合剤を更に含有してもよい。これらは、本実施形態の効果が得られる範囲であれば、適宜好適なものを選択することができる。難燃剤としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ハロゲン化物、リン原子含有化合物、窒素原子含有化合物、無機系難燃化合物等が挙げられる。
〔硬化物〕
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物を硬化することにより、硬化物が得られる。本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物は、エポキシ樹脂組成物を、例えば、従来公知の方法等により熱硬化させることで得られる。例えば、まず、上記のエポキシ樹脂と、硬化剤と、更に必要に応じて硬化促進剤、無機充填剤、及び/又は配合剤等とを、押出機、ニーダ、ロール等を用いて均一になるまで充分に混合してエポキシ樹脂組成物を得る。その後、エポキシ樹脂組成物を注型あるいはトランスファー成形機、コンプレッション成形機、射出成形機等を用いて成形し、80~200℃程度で2~10時間程度の条件で更に加熱することにより、硬化物を得ることができる。
 また、例えば、以下の方法により硬化物を得ることができる。まず、本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物を、トルエン、キシレン、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン等の溶剤に溶解させ、溶液を得る。得られた溶液を、ガラス繊維、カーボン繊維、ポリエステル繊維、ポリアミド繊維、アルミナ繊維、紙等の基材に含浸させ加熱乾燥してプリプレグを得る。次に、得られたプリプレグを熱プレス成形することにより、硬化物を得ることができる。
〔用途〕
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物及びその硬化物は、エポキシ樹脂が材料として用いられている種々の用途に使用できる。特に、封止材、半導体用封止材、接着剤、プリント基板材、塗料、複合材料等の用途として特に有用である。
 これらの中でも、アンダーフィルやモールディング等の半導体封止材、異方性導電フィルム(ACF)等の導電性接着剤、ソルダーレジストやカバーレイフィルム等のプリント配線基板、エポキシ樹脂組成物をガラス繊維やカーボン繊維などに含浸させてなるプリプレグ等の複合材料に好適に用いられる。
(接着剤)
 本実施形態の接着剤は、上述した本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物を含み、前記硬化剤(β)が、前記式(3)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を含むことが好ましい。これにより、浸透性を向上させる効果が得られる。
(電子部材)
 本実施形態のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物は、各種電子部材に用いることができる。例えば、アンダーフィルやモールディング等の半導体封止材、ACF等の導電性接着剤、ソルダーレジストやカバーレイフィルム等のプリント配線基板、ガラス繊維やカーボン繊維などに含浸させてなるプリプレグ等の複合材料が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
 次に、本発明を、合成例、比較合成例、実施例、及び比較例により更に具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらにより何ら限定されるものではない。
 なお、以下において「部」及び「%」は、特に断りがない限り質量基準である。
 後述する合成例において、アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物を合成した。アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物の物性として、25℃における粘度、融点、赤外吸収スペクトルをそれぞれ測定した。
[25℃における粘度の測定方法]
 アミンイミド化合物の25℃での粘度(Pa・s)は、アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物(約0.3mL)を測定カップに滴下し、試料温度が25℃になってから15分後にE型粘度計(東機産業株式会社製 「TVE-35H」)で測定した。
 なお、表1中、「性状」は、25℃における状態を示す。
[融点の測定方法]
 常温(25℃)で固形のもののみ融点を測定した。アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物の融点は、以下の条件における吸熱ピークの頂点温度とした。
 ・装置:示差熱熱重量同時測定装置(株式会社日立ハイテクサイエンス製 「TG/DTA7220」)
 ・試料質量:約10mg
 ・試料容器:オープン型アルミニウムパン
 ・測定温度:40℃~240℃
 ・昇温速度:5℃/分
 ・雰囲気ガス:窒素
 ・ガス流量:40mL/分
[N-N結合分解温度の測定方法]
 アミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物のN-N結合分解頂点温度は、以下の測定条件における発熱ピークの頂点温度(Tpeak)とした。N-N結合分解開始温度は、発熱ピークの立ち上がり温度(Tonset)とした。なお、立ち上がり温度(Tonset)は、発熱ピークの立ち上がり部分の最大傾斜の接線と、基線(ベースライン)の外挿線との交点より求めた。これらより(Tpeak-Tonset)を算出した。

[赤外吸収スペクトルの測定方法]
 赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定は、フーリエ変換赤外分光光度計(日本分光株式会社製 「FT/IR-410」)を用いた。測定サンプルの作製方法は、試料が液状の場合は液膜法を用い、試料が固体の場合は錠剤法を用いた。
 液膜法は、赤外線を透過する岩塩板に試料を挟み、膜状の測定サンプルを作製する方法である。
 錠剤法は、乳鉢等を用いて臭化カリウム粉末に試料を均一に分散させた後に、プレスして錠剤状の測定サンプルを作製する方法である。
 1570cm-1~1620cm-1に見られるアミンイミド基由来の特異的な赤外吸収スペクトルの有無を確認した。
[質量分析の測定方法]
 質量分析の測定は、質量分析(MS)検出器として、Waters社QDa検出器を用いて行った。
 測定サンプルは、アセトニトリルを用いて濃度約0.25質量%に調整した。
 送液条件は、初期90:10=メタノール:水からスタートし、3分後に50:50=メタノール:水とした。約0.1~0.5分にピークが観察されるので、そのピークについて解析を行った。
 Waters社QDa検出器の質量分析条件は、Mass(m/z)ES+で50-1250、キャピラリー電圧は0.8V、Cone電圧は25V、プローブ温度600℃であるものとした。
 各化合物はH+が付加した1価のm/zで観測された。
 5mM酢酸アンモニウム/メタノール溶液を0.45mL/minで送液し、イオン化を促進した。
 下記において、アミンイミド化合物、及びアミンイミド組成物を調製した。
 なお、下記合成例は、本発明に係るアミンイミド化合物及びアミンイミド組成物の具体例である。
[合成例1]
 こはく酸ジメチル17.68g(0.12モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル22.54g(0.12モル)、t-ブチルアルコール26.12g(0.35モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。。この溶液を55℃で4日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去し、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより薄黄色の液状アミンイミド化合物A(化合物A):44.37g(収率92.3%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法より、IR(neat):1573cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=401.5のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Aが得られたことが分かった。

[合成例2]
 こはく酸ジメチル17.68g(0.12モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、トリメチロールプロパンポリグリシジルエーテル12.09g(0.04モル)、t-ブチルアルコール20.90g(0.28モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で3日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去し、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより薄黄色の粘稠状アミンイミド化合物B(化合物B):33.46g(収率88.5%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1576cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=946.8のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Bが得られたことが分かった。

[合成例3]
 ベンゾイルギ酸メチル19.70g(0.12モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル22.54g(0.12モル)、t-ブチルアルコール27.13g(0.37モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で4日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去し、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより薄茶色の液状アミンイミド化合物C(化合物C):47.67g(収率94.9%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1595cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=419.5のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Cが得られたことが分かった。

 1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジエチル24.27g(0.12モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル22.54g(0.12モル)、t-ブチルアルコール29.42g(0.40モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で4日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去することで、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより濃茶色の液状アミンイミド化合物D(化合物D):44.93g(収率84.6%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1609cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=443.4のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Dが得られたことが分かった。

 1,3-アセトンジカルボン酸ジエチル12.13g(0.06モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル22.54g(0.12モル)、t-ブチルアルコール23.35g(0.32モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で3日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去することで、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより濃茶色の液状アミンイミド化合物E(化合物E):33.40g(収率81.5%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1586cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=683.9のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Eが得られたことが分かった。

 しゅう酸ジメチル14.17g(0.12モル)、1-アミノピペリジン12.02g(0.12モル)、2-エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテル22.54g(0.12モル)、t-ブチルアルコール24.37g(0.33モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で3日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。得られた反応液を55℃で減圧濃縮することにより、t-ブチルアルコール、副生したアルコール、未反応の原料を留去することで、液状の生成物を得た。この生成物を、酢酸エチルに溶解させ、分液ロートで水洗を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより薄黄色の液状アミンイミド化合物F(化合物F):42.51g(収率95.1%)を得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1612cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=372.5のピークが観測された。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド化合物Fが得られたことが分かった。

 乳酸エチル3.54g(0.030モル)、1-アミノピペリジン3.01g(0.030モル)、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル6.91g(0.030モル)、エタノール8.0g(0.17モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で2日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。この生成物を、ヘキサンで洗浄を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより、下記式に示す2種のアミンイミド化合物の混合物である黄色の液状アミンイミド組成物O2(化合物O2):12.01gを得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1593cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=575.6及び421.4のピークが観測された。m/z=575.6はアミンイミド化合物Oと同様の構造であり、m/z=421.4は片側がジオール末端の構造を持つ化合物である。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド組成物О2が得られたことが分かった。

 乳酸エチル5.32g(0.045モル)、1-アミノピペリジン4.51g(0.045モル)、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル6.91g(0.030モル)、エタノール8.0g(0.17モル)を混合し、溶液を得た。この溶液を55℃で2日間撹拌しながら反応させ、反応液を得た。この生成物を、ヘキサンで洗浄を繰り返すことで、未反応の原料残渣を除去し、有機層を得た。この有機層を55℃で再度減圧濃縮することにより、下記式に示す2種のアミンイミド化合物の混合物である黄色の液状アミンイミド組成物O3(化合物O3):14.56gを得た。前記赤外線吸収スペクトルの測定方法により、IR(neat):1592cm-1の測定値を得た。質量分析では、m/z=575.6及び421.4のピークが観測された。m/z=575.6はアミンイミド化合物Oと同様の構造であり、m/z=421.4は片側がジオール末端の構造を持つ化合物である。これにより、下記式に示すアミンイミド組成物О3が得られたことが分かった。

 このエポキシ樹脂組成物の諸特性である、硬化性、室温(25℃)での保存安定性をそれぞれ測定した。
[エポキシ樹脂組成物の調製(1)]
 以下の各実施例および比較例で調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物は、下記のエポキシ樹脂を原料として使用した。
 エポキシ樹脂:Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd 「BE-186EL」
 各原料を混合するにあたり、エポキシ樹脂100質量部に対し、アミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物、又はアクリレート-イミダゾールアダクトが2~20質量部となるように添加した。エポキシ樹脂と、アミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物、又はアクリレート-イミダゾールアダクトとをプラスチック製の撹拌容器に入れ、これを自転・公転ミキサー(株式会社シンキー製 「ARE-310」)で撹拌混合することによりエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製した。
[硬化性の評価方法(1)]
 硬化性の評価方法(1)としては、調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を、示差走査熱量計(SII社製 「DSC220C」)のアルミニウム容器に10mgを量り取り、200℃のオーブンで3時間加熱した後に急冷し、加熱前後のDSC発熱量の変化から反応率を算出し、この反応率により硬化性を評価した。
 反応率が95%以上の場合を「◎」、95%未満90%以上の場合を「○」、90%未満80%以上の場合を「△」、80%未満の場合を「×」と判定した。
[保存安定性の評価方法(1)]
 保存安定性の評価方法(1)としては、作製直後のエポキシ樹脂組成物の25℃における粘度を「η1」とし、25℃の恒温槽に3日間保存したエポキシ樹脂組成物の25℃における粘度を「η2」とした場合、η2/η1で算出した値を粘度上昇倍率として求め、この粘度上昇倍率により、室温での保存安定性を評価した。
 粘度上昇倍率が1.5倍未満である場合を「◎」、1.5倍以上2.0倍未満の場合を「○」、2.0倍以上3.0倍未満の場合を「△」、3.0倍以上の場合を「×」と判定した。
[実施例1]
 エポキシ樹脂(Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd製 「BE-186EL」)20gとアミンイミド化合物A 1.6gを、プラスチック製の撹拌容器に入れ、これを自転・公転ミキサー(株式会社シンキー製 「ARE-310」)で撹拌混合することによりエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製した。上記硬化性の評価方法(1)により硬化性を評価し、上記保存安定性の評価方法(1)により室温での保存安定性を評価した。
[実施例2]
 アミンイミド化合物Aの添加量を6.0gに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性を評価した。

 アミンイミド化合物Aをアミンイミド化合物Bに変更し、アミンイミド化合物Bの添加量を2.0gに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性を評価した。

[エポキシ樹脂組成物の調製(2)]
 以下の各実施例及び比較例で調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物は、下記のエポキシ樹脂、酸無水物を原料として使用した。
  エポキシ樹脂:Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd 「BE-186EL」
  酸無水物:日立化成株式会社製 「HN-5500」
 各原料を混合するにあたり、エポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基及び酸無水物中の酸無水物基の当量比が、酸無水物基/エポキシ基=1.00となるように添加した。
 また、エポキシ樹脂100質量部に対し、表7~表9に示す配合量に従って各原料を添加した。
 エポキシ樹脂とアミンイミド化合物、アミンイミド組成物、DBU、U-CAT SA1、又はアクリレート-イミダゾールアダクト(以下、アミンイミド化合物等と記載する場合がある)とをプラスチック製の撹拌容器に入れ、これを自転・公転ミキサー(株式会社シンキー製 「ARE-310」)で撹拌混合することにより、エポキシ樹脂とアミンイミド化合物等をプレ混合した。次いで、所定量の酸無水物をプレ混合物に加え、さらに撹拌混合することによりエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製した。
[硬化性の評価方法(2)]
 硬化性の評価方法(2)としては、調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を、以下の条件で加熱し評価を行った。100Pa・sに到達した温度がDBUを硬化促進剤とした場合と比較して、+15℃未満である場合を「◎」、+15以上~+30℃未満であるの場合を「○」、+30℃以上~+45℃未満の場合を「△」、+45℃以上の場合を「×」と判定した。

[プリプレグ表面平滑性の評価方法]
 調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を、炭素繊維布(東レ株式会社製 「トレカクロスCO6343」)(目付198g/m2)に5分間含浸させ、170℃のオーブンで10分間加熱してプリプレグを作製した。そして、得られたプリプレグの表面状態の観察を行った。表面が平滑なものを「○」、表面にボイド等による凹凸が観察されたものを「×」と判定した。
[プリプレグタック性の評価方法]
 調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を、炭素繊維布(東レ株式会社製 「トレカクロスCO6343」)(目付198g/m2)に5分間含浸させ、170℃のオーブンで10分間加熱してプリプレグを作製した。そして、得られたプリプレグのタック性を確認した。タックがないものを「○」、タックがあるものを「×」と判定した。
[浸透性の評価方法]
 加圧ろ過器にろ布として炭素繊維布(東レ株式会社製 「トレカクロスCO6343」)(目付198g/m2)を挟み込み、室温で、調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を0.2L/分の窒素により加圧ろ過した。示差走査熱量計(SII社製 「DSC220C」)のアルミニウム容器に、ろ液として得られたエポキシ樹脂組成物10mgを量り取り、180℃のオーブンで1.5時間加熱した後に急冷し、ろ過前後のDSC発熱量の変化から反応率を算出した。反応率が95%以上の場合を「○」、95%未満の場合を「×」と判定した。
 なお、当該評価において、アミンイミド化合物等を硬化促進剤として使用した際、当該硬化促進剤が浸透性に優れる場合には、加圧ろ過前後におけるエポキシ樹脂組成物中の硬化促進剤の量には相違なく、所望の反応性が得られることが確認された。一方で、硬化促進剤が浸透性に劣る場合には、炭素繊維布に硬化促進剤の少なくとも一部がトラップされ、加圧ろ過後におけるエポキシ樹脂組成物中の硬化促進剤が減少し、所望の反応性が得られない結果となることが確認された。
[実施例32]
 エポキシ樹脂(Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd製 「BE-186EL」)20gとアミンイミド化合物A 0.6gをプラスチック製の撹拌容器に入れ、これを自転・公転ミキサー(株式会社シンキー製 「ARE-310」)で撹拌混合した。次いで、酸無水物(日立化成株式会社製 「HN-5500」)17.9gを加え、さらに撹拌混合することによりエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、上記硬化性の評価方法(2)により硬化性を評価し、上記保存安定性の評価方法(2)により室温での保存安定性を評価し、また、プリプレグ表面平滑性、プリプレグタック性、浸透性についても評価した。
[実施例33]
 アミンイミド化合物Aの添加量を3.6gに変更した以外は、実施例32と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性、プリプレグ表面平滑性、プリプレグタック性、浸透性を評価した。

 アミンイミド化合物AをDBU-フェノール塩(サンアプロ株式会社製 「U-CAT SA1」)に変更した以外は、実施例32と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性、プリプレグ表面平滑性、プリプレグタック性、浸透性を評価した。
[比較例6]
 アミンイミド化合物Aをアクリレート-イミダゾールアダクトAに変更した以外は、実施例32と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性、プリプレグ表面平滑性、プリプレグタック性、浸透性を評価した。
[比較例7]
 アミンイミド化合物Aを粉体アミン硬化剤(味の素ファインテクノ社製「アミキュア PN-23」)に変更した以外は、実施例32と同様にエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製し、硬化性、室温での保存安定性、プリプレグ表面平滑性、プリプレグタック性、浸透性を評価した。
 実施例32~58、62~64、比較例4~7の評価結果を、表7~表9に示す。

 表1~9の結果から、合成例1~24で得られたアミンイミド化合物又はアミンイミド組成物A~S3を用いた実施例1~64のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、硬化性と保存安定性に優れることが確認された。
 また、表7~9の結果から、製造例1~24で得られたアミンイミド化合物又はアミンイミド組成物A~S3を用いた実施例32~64のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、浸透性にも優れ、良好なプリプレグ特性を発現することが確認された。
 一方、比較例1~7のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、硬化性は優れているものの、室温での保存安定性に劣ることが確認された。
[せん断接着強度の測定方法]
 JIS K6850に準拠して、鋼板に対する引張せん断接着強度を測定した。
 せん断接着評価は、下記のように調製した、実施例65~68のエポキシ樹脂組成物を用いて行った。
[実施例65~76]
 エポキシ樹脂組成物用のエポキシ樹脂として、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂:Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd 「BE-186EL」、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂:三菱ケミカル社製「jER806」、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂:三菱ケミカル社製グリシジルアミン系エポキシ樹脂「jER630」、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂:DIC社製「HP-4032D」を使用した。
 総エポキシ樹脂100質量部に対し、下記表10に示す所定のアミンイミド化合物を20質量部となるように添加した。アクリレート-イミダゾールは10質量部となるように添加した。エポキシ樹脂とアミンイミド化合物をプラスチック製の撹拌容器に入れ、これを自転・公転ミキサー(株式会社シンキー製 「ARE-310」)で撹拌混合することによりエポキシ樹脂組成物を調製した。
 上述のようにして調製したエポキシ樹脂組成物を、2枚の鋼板試験片(SPCC-SB:株式会社スタンダードテストピース社製)の間に接着面積12.5mm×5mm塗布した後、加熱炉にて設定温度150℃で2時間加熱し、熱硬化接着し、試験片を得た。得られた試験片に対し、23℃、50%RHの恒温恒湿室において、AUTOGRAPH AGS-X 5kN(島津製作所株式会社製)を用いて、引張せん断接着強度を測定し、得られた値の中央値を鋼板基材への引張せん断接着強度とした。

 表10に示す測定結果から、一分内に-N--N+を複数有する構造(アミンイミド化合物О、M等)は、ほぼ同様の-N-N-分解温度(開始温度、頂点温度)を有する-N--N+が一つのものと比較して、同じ硬化条件において、せん断接着強度が高くなることが分かった。この理由については、1分子内に-N--N+-を複数有する場合、硬化剤質量中における活性成分が多くなることに起因すると考えられる。
 本出願は、2020年7月15日に日本国特許庁に出願された日本特許出願(特願2020-121122)に基づくものであり、その内容はここに参照として取り込まれる。
 本発明のアミンイミド化合物及びエポキシ樹脂組成物は、封止材、接着剤、プリント基板材、塗料、複合材料、アンダーフィルやモールディング等の半導体封止材、ACF等の導電性接着剤、ソルダーレジストやカバーレイフィルム等のプリント配線基板、ガラス繊維やカーボン繊維などに含浸させてなるプリプレグ等の複合材料等として、産業上の利用可能性を有している。

Claims (20)

  1.  下記式(1)、(2)又は(3)で表される、アミンイミド化合物。

    (式(1)~(3)中、R1は、各々独立して、水素原子、又は、水酸基、カルボニル基、エステル結合、若しくはエーテル結合を有していてもよい、炭素数1~15の、1価又はn価の有機基を表し、R2及びR3は、各々独立して、未置換又は置換基を有する、炭素数1~12のアルキル基、アリール基、アラルキル基、又はR2及びR3が連結した炭素数7以下のヘテロ環を表し、R4は、各々独立して、水素原子、又は、酸素原子を含んでもよい、炭素数1~30の、1価又はn価の有機基を表し、nは1~3の整数を表す。)
  2.  前記式(1)又は(3)における前記R1が、下記式(4)又は(5)、で表される基である、

  16.  前記硬化剤(β)の含有量が、前記エポキシ樹脂(α)100質量部に対して、1~50質量部である、

  17.  酸無水物系硬化剤(γ)をさらに含む、
     請求項15又は16に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
  18.  請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載のアミンイミド化合物、又は請求項12若しくは13に記載のアミンイミド組成物中のアミンイミド化合物の製造方法であって、
     カルボン酸エステル化合物(A)、ヒドラジン化合物(B)、及びグリシジルエーテル化合物(C)を反応させる反応工程を有する、
     アミンイミド化合物の製造方法。
  19.  請求項15乃至17のいずれか一項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化物である封止材。
  20.  請求項15に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物を含み、
     前記硬化剤(β)が、前記式(3)で表されるアミンイミド化合物を含む、接着剤。
