本申请实施例公开了一种显示面板及显示装置,该显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,液晶层中掺杂有手性剂。本申请在显示面板中的液晶层中掺杂手性剂,利用手性剂产生的螺旋扭曲力带动像素周边的液晶分子转动,能够缩小像素周边暗纹区域,提升显示面板的穿透率。

技术领域
本申请涉及显示技术领域,具体涉及一种显示面板及显示装置。
背景技术
PSVA(Polmer Stabilized Vertivally Aligned),中文译名聚合物稳定的垂直排列液晶,是一种新型的液晶显示技术。PSVA技术具有以下优势:①高对比度,静态对比度可达到16000:1;②宽视角,大视角具备低色偏低于0.02,符合电视多人观看需求;③响应快,动态影像反应速度低于5ms;④低功耗:较高的穿透率(大于30%),可以提供更节能的背光模块;⑤适用于各世代厂房发展,已验证于8.5代线。
PSVA显示模式需要在面板制程增加紫外光照射制程,即在加电状况进行紫外光照射,使液晶分子沿着某一方向倒向后利用紫外光照射使液晶内可聚合单体聚合,形成一定的预倾角。然而,这种方式在现在像素设计框架下像素周边必然会有一定区域为非理想状况,即为暗纹区域。
也即,现有技术中,显示面板的像素周边存在较大面积的暗纹区域,降低了显示面板的穿透率。
技术问题
本申请实施例提供一种显示面板及显示装置,能够缩小像素周边暗纹区域,提升显示面板的穿透率。
技术解决方案
为解决上述问题,第一方面,本申请提供一种显示面板,其中,所述显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,所述第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,所述液晶层中掺杂有手性剂,所述液晶层的螺距为8微米至60微米,所述液晶层的双折射系数和所述液晶层的厚度之积为300纳米至550纳米。
其中,所述第一基板为阵列基板,所述第二基板为彩膜基板,所述第一基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第一偏光片,所述第一基板靠近所述液晶层的一侧设有像素电极层,所述第二基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第二偏光片,所述第一偏光片的偏振方向与所述第二偏光片的偏振方向垂直,所述像素电极层包括多个像素电极。

结合图1-图3,本实施例中,显示面板10包括相对设置的第一基板16、第二基板12,第一基板16和第二基板12之间设置有液晶层14,液晶层14中掺杂有手性剂。液晶层14中液晶可以是胆甾相液晶。胆甾相液晶由于首先在胆甾醇的酯和卤化物的液晶中观察到,故得其名。在这类液晶中,长形分子是扁平的,依靠端基的相互作用,彼此平等排列成层状,但是他们的长轴是在层片平面上的,层内分子与向列型相似,而相邻两层间,分子长轴的取向,由于伸出层片平面外的光学活性基团的作用,依次规则地扭转一定角度,层层累加而形成螺旋面结构。液晶层14中液晶分子取向方向经历360°变化的距离称作液晶层14的螺距P。在液晶层14加入手性剂后,可以改变液晶层14的螺距P。在液晶层14中添加手性剂,可以利用手性剂产生的螺旋扭曲力带动像素周边的液晶分子转动,有效的缩小周边暗纹区域的宽度。
在一个优选的实施例中,液晶层14的螺距P为8微米至60微米。具体的,可通过调节手性剂的浓度调节液晶层14的螺距P至8微米至60微米。能够进一步缩小像素电极周边暗纹区域,提升穿透率。
进一步的,液晶层14的双折射系数和液晶层14的厚度之积为300纳米至550纳米。能够提高单位面积的穿透率。其中,液晶层14的厚度d在2.5微米到4微米之间。
进一步的,液晶层14中的液晶分子为负性液晶分子。负性液晶分子是指液晶分子长轴方向的介电常数小于分子短轴方向的节点常数的一类液晶分子。负性液晶在电场中垂直电场方向排列。采用负性液晶分子能够进一步提高显示面板10的穿透率。
本申请实施例中,第一基板16为阵列基板,第二基板12为彩膜基板,第一基板16远离液晶层14的一侧设有第一偏光片17,第一基板16靠近液晶层14的一侧设有像素电极层15,第二基板12远离液晶层14的一侧设有第二偏光片11,第一偏光片17的偏振方向F2与第二偏光片11的偏振方向F1垂直,像素电极层15包括多个像素电极18。第二基板12靠近液晶层14的一侧设有公共电极层13。
需要说明的是,显示面板10还可以包括用于实现彩色显示的红绿蓝彩色滤光层、用于防止漏光的黑色矩阵层、用于维持盒厚的支撑柱等。第一基板16可以为柔性基板或者普通基板,第二基板12可以为柔性基板或者普通基板。
在一个具体的实施例中,多个像素电极18在第一基板16上阵列排布。像素电极18包括一端连接的第一主电极181、第二主电极182、第三主电极183以及第四主电极184,第一主电极181、第二主电极182、第三主电极183以及第四主电极184在第一基板16上顺时针依次排布,相邻两个主电极垂直,第一主电极181和第二主电极182之间包括多个第一分电极185,第二主电极182和第三主电极183之间包括多个第二分电极186,第三主电极183和第四主电极184之间包括多个第三分电极187,第四主电极184和第一主电极181之间包括多个第四分电极188。其中,第一分电极185一端连接于第一主电极181或者第二主电极182,第二分电极186一端连接于第二主电极182或者第三主电极183,第三分电极187一端连接于第三主电极183或者第四主电极184,第四分电极188一端连接于第一主电极181或者第四主电极184。多个第一分电极185等间隔设置,多个第二分电极186等间隔设置,多个第三分电极187等间隔设置,多个第四分电极188等间隔设置。
具体的,液晶层14中的手性剂为左旋性的手性剂。手性剂可以分为左旋性的手性剂和右旋性的手性剂,根据手性分子对光的诱导旋转方向不同,顺时针旋转为左旋性的手性剂,逆时针旋转为右旋性的手性剂。
在第二基板12朝向至第一基板16的视角下,也即沿图1中F3方向看过去,像素电极18逆时针旋转第一预设角度φ1后,第一主电极181和第二偏光片11的偏振方向F1平行,第一预设角度φ1和液晶层14的螺距P的关系满足第一条件、第二条件、第三条件、第四条件以及第五条件中的任意一种。
其中,第一条件为:液晶层14的螺距P不大于11微米,第一预设角度φ1为30度至50度;
第二条件为:液晶层14的螺距P为11微米至13.5微米,第一预设角度φ1为40度至60度;
第三条件为:液晶层14的螺距P为13.5微米至16微米,第一预设角度φ1为45度至65度;
第四条件为:液晶层14的螺距P为16微米至18.5微米,第一预设角度φ1为50度至70度;
第五条件为:液晶层14的螺距P不小于18.5微米,第一预设角度φ1为55度至75度。
进一步的,第一分电极185与第一主电极181的夹角为45度,和/或第二分电极186与第二主电极182的夹角为45度,和/或第三分电极187与第三主电极183的夹角为45度,和/或第四分电极188与第四主电极184的夹角为45度。
参阅图4和图5,图4是图1显示面板另一具体实施例中像素电极在第二基板朝向至第一基板的视角下的排布示意图;图5是图1显示面板另一具体实施例中像素电极在第二基板朝向至第一基板的视角下的结构示意图。
在另一个具体的实施例中,多个像素电极28在第一基板16上阵列排布。像素电极28包括一端连接的第一主电极281、第二主电极282、第三主电极283以及第四主电极284,第一主电极281、第二主电极282、第三主电极283以及第四主电极284在第一基板16上顺时针依次排布,相邻两个主电极垂直,第一主电极281和第二主电极282之间包括多个第一分电极285,第二主电极282和第三主电极283之间包括多个第二分电极286,第三主电极283和第四主电极284之间包括多个第三分电极287,第四主电极284和第一主电极281之间包括多个第四分电极288。其中,第一分电极285一端连接于第一主电极281或者第二主电极282,第二分电极286一端连接于第二主电极282或者第三主电极283,第三分电极287一端连接于第三主电极283或者第四主电极284,第四分电极288一端连接于第一主电极281或者第四主电极284。多个第一分电极285等间隔设置,多个第二分电极286等间隔设置,多个第三分电极287等间隔设置,多个第四分电极288等间隔设置。
第一主电极281和第二偏光片11的偏振方向F1平行,第四分电极288与第一主电极281的角度为第二预设角度φ2,第一分电极285与第一主电极281的角度为第三预设角度φ3,第二预设角度φ2、第三预设角度和液晶层14的螺距P的关系满足第六条件、第七条件、第八条件以及第九条件中的任意一种,
其中,第六条件为:液晶层14的螺距P不大于13.5微米,第二预设角度φ2为75度至90度,第三预设角度φ3为0度至15度;
第七条件为:液晶层14的螺距P为13.5微米至16微米,第二预设角度φ2为70度至90度,第三预设角度φ3为0度至20度;
第八条件为:液晶层14的螺距P为16微米至18.5微米,第二预设角度φ2为65度至90度,第三预设角度φ3为5度至25度;
第九条件为:液晶层14的螺距P不小于18.5微米,第二预设角度φ2为60度至90度,第三预设角度φ3为10度至30度。
进一步的,第一分电极285与第三分电极287平行,第二分电极286与第四分电极288平行。
区别于现有技术,本申请提供一种显示面板,该显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,液晶层中掺杂有手性剂。本申请在显示面板中的液晶层中掺杂手性剂,利用手性剂产生的螺旋扭曲力带动像素周边的液晶分子转动,能够缩小像素周边暗纹区域,提升显示面板的穿透率。
本申请还提供一种显示装置,显示装置包括以上的显示面板10。
需要说明的是,上述显示面板实施例中仅描述了上述结构,可以理解的是,除了上述结构之外,本申请实施例显示面板中,还可以根据需要包括任何其他的必要结构,例如基板,缓冲层,层间介质层(ILD)等,具体此处不作限定。
具体实施时,以上各个单元或结构可以作为独立的实体来实现,也可以进行任意组合,作为同一或若干个实体来实现,以上各个单元或结构的具体实施可参见前面的方法实施例,在此不再赘述。

Claims (20)

  1. 一种显示面板,其中,所述显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,所述第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,所述液晶层中掺杂有手性剂,所述液晶层的螺距为8微米至60微米,所述液晶层的双折射系数和所述液晶层的厚度之积为300纳米至550纳米。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中,所述第一基板为阵列基板,所述第二基板为彩膜基板,所述第一基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第一偏光片,所述第一基板靠近所述液晶层的一侧设有像素电极层,所述第二基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第二偏光片,所述第一偏光片的偏振方向与所述第二偏光片的偏振方向垂直,所述像素电极层包括多个像素电极。
  3. 一种显示面板,其中,所述显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,所述第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,所述液晶层中掺杂有手性剂。
  4. 根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其中,所述液晶层的螺距为8微米至60微米。
  5. 根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其中,所述液晶层的双折射系数和所述液晶层的厚度之积为300纳米至550纳米。
  6. 根据权利要求4所述的显示面板,其中,所述第一基板为阵列基板,所述第二基板为彩膜基板,所述第一基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第一偏光片,所述第一基板靠近所述液晶层的一侧设有像素电极层,所述第二基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第二偏光片,所述第一偏光片的偏振方向与所述第二偏光片的偏振方向垂直,所述像素电极层包括多个像素电极。
  7. 根据权利要求6所述的显示面板,其中,所述像素电极包括一端连接的第一主电极、第二主电极、第三主电极以及第四主电极,所述第一主电极、所述第二主电极、所述第三主电极以及所述第四主电极在所述第一基板上顺时针依次排布,相邻两个所述主电极垂直,所述第一主电极和所述第二主电极之间包括多个第一分电极,所述第二主电极和所述第三主电极之间包括多个第二分电极,所述第三主电极和所述第四主电极之间包括多个第三分电极,所述第四主电极和所述第一主电极之间包括多个第四分电极。
  8. 根据权利要求7所述的显示面板,其中,所述手性剂为左旋性的手性剂,在所述第二基板朝向至所述第一基板的视角下,所述像素电极逆时针旋转第一预设角度后,所述第一主电极和所述第二偏光片的偏振方向平行,所述第一预设角度和所述液晶层的螺距的关系满足第一条件、第二条件、第三条件、第四条件以及第五条件中的任意一种,
    其中,所述第一条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不大于11微米,所述第一预设角度为30度至50度;
    所述第二条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为11微米至13.5微米,所述第一预设角度为40度至60度;
    所述第三条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为13.5微米至16微米,所述第一预设角度为45度至65度;
    所述第四条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为16微米至18.5微米,所述第一预设角度为50度至70度;
    所述第五条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不小于18.5微米,所述第一预设角度为55度至75度。
  9. 根据权利要求8所述的显示面板,其中,所述第一分电极与所述第一主电极的夹角为45度,和/或所述第二分电极与所述第二主电极182的夹角为45度,和/或所述第三分电极与所述第三主电极的夹角为45度,和/或所述第四分电极与所述第四主电极的夹角为45度。
  10. 根据权利要求7所述的显示面板,其中,所述手性剂为左旋性的手性剂,所述第一主电极和所述第二偏光片的偏振方向平行,所述第四分电极与所述第一主电极的角度为第二预设角度,所述第一分电极与所述第一主电极的角度为第三预设角度,所述第二预设角度、所述第三预设角度和所述液晶层的螺距的关系满足第六条件、第七条件、第八条件以及第九条件中的任意一种,
    其中,所述第六条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不大于13.5微米,所述第二预设角度为75度至90度,所述第三预设角度为0度至15度;
    所述第七条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为13.5微米至16微米,所述第二预设角度为70度至90度,所述第三预设角度为0度至20度;
    所述第八条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为16微米至18.5微米,所述第二预设角度为65度至90度,所述第三预设角度为5度至25度;
    所述第九条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不小于18.5微米,所述第二预设角度为60度至90度,所述第三预设角度为10度至30度。
  11. 根据权利要求10所述的显示面板,其中,所述第一分电极与所述第三分电极平行,所述第二分电极与所述第四分电极平行。
  12. 一种显示装置,其中,所述显示装置包括显示面板,所述显示面板包括相对设置的第一基板、第二基板,所述第一基板和第二基板之间设置有液晶层,所述液晶层中掺杂有手性剂。
  13. 根据权利要求12所述的显示装置,其中,所述液晶层的螺距为8微米至60微米。
  14. 根据权利要求12所述的显示装置,其中,所述液晶层的双折射系数和所述液晶层的厚度之积为300纳米至550纳米。
  15. 根据权利要求13所述的显示装置,其中,所述第一基板为阵列基板,所述第二基板为彩膜基板,所述第一基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第一偏光片,所述第一基板靠近所述液晶层的一侧设有像素电极层,所述第二基板远离所述液晶层的一侧设有第二偏光片,所述第一偏光片的偏振方向与所述第二偏光片的偏振方向垂直,所述像素电极层包括多个像素电极。
  16. 根据权利要求15所述的显示装置,其中,所述像素电极包括一端连接的第一主电极、第二主电极、第三主电极以及第四主电极,所述第一主电极、所述第二主电极、所述第三主电极以及所述第四主电极在所述第一基板上顺时针依次排布,相邻两个所述主电极垂直,所述第一主电极和所述第二主电极之间包括多个第一分电极,所述第二主电极和所述第三主电极之间包括多个第二分电极,所述第三主电极和所述第四主电极之间包括多个第三分电极,所述第四主电极和所述第一主电极之间包括多个第四分电极。
  17. 根据权利要求16所述的显示装置,其中,所述手性剂为左旋性的手性剂,在所述第二基板朝向至所述第一基板的视角下,所述像素电极逆时针旋转第一预设角度后,所述第一主电极和所述第二偏光片的偏振方向平行,所述第一预设角度和所述液晶层的螺距的关系满足第一条件、第二条件、第三条件、第四条件以及第五条件中的任意一种,
    其中,所述第一条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不大于11微米,所述第一预设角度为30度至50度;
    所述第二条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为11微米至13.5微米,所述第一预设角度为40度至60度;
    所述第三条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为13.5微米至16微米,所述第一预设角度为45度至65度;
    所述第四条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为16微米至18.5微米,所述第一预设角度为50度至70度;
    所述第五条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不小于18.5微米,所述第一预设角度为55度至75度。
  18. 根据权利要求17所述的显示装置,其中,所述第一分电极与所述第一主电极的夹角为45度,和/或所述第二分电极与所述第二主电极182的夹角为45度,和/或所述第三分电极与所述第三主电极的夹角为45度,和/或所述第四分电极与所述第四主电极的夹角为45度。
  19. 根据权利要求16所述的显示装置,其中,所述手性剂为左旋性的手性剂,所述第一主电极和所述第二偏光片的偏振方向平行,所述第四分电极与所述第一主电极的角度为第二预设角度,所述第一分电极与所述第一主电极的角度为第三预设角度,所述第二预设角度、所述第三预设角度和所述液晶层的螺距的关系满足第六条件、第七条件、第八条件以及第九条件中的任意一种,
    其中,所述第六条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不大于13.5微米,所述第二预设角度为75度至90度,所述第三预设角度为0度至15度;
    所述第七条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为13.5微米至16微米,所述第二预设角度为70度至90度,所述第三预设角度为0度至20度;
    所述第八条件为:所述液晶层的螺距为16微米至18.5微米,所述第二预设角度为65度至90度,所述第三预设角度为5度至25度;
    所述第九条件为:所述液晶层的螺距不小于18.5微米,所述第二预设角度为60度至90度,所述第三预设角度为10度至30度。
  20. 根据权利要求19所述的显示装置,其中,所述第一分电极与所述第三分电极平行,所述第二分电极与所述第四分电极平行。
