Tampón higiénico
Sector de la técnica
Esta invención es aplicable en el sector de los protectores higiénicos femeninos, y más concretamente de los tampones higiénicos.
Estado de la técnica anterior
En el modelo de utilidad ES 1 160 610 U, se describe un tampón aplicable en la higiene femenina es del tipo que comprende: un cuerpo absorbente, sustancialmente cilindrico, comprimido perimetralmente y formado por una tira de material absorbente, de configuración rectangular, enrollada sobre sí misma; presentando dicho cuerpo absorbente: un extremo anterior en el sentido introducción del tampón en la vagina; un extremo posterior del que sale un cordón de extracción y una superficie lateral.
El documento US2012011462 describe un tampón menstrual, con una estructura similar a la del modelo de utilidad ES 1 160 610 y que incluye un cuerpo formado por: un material absorbente formado a partir de una esponja absorbente de líquidos, un material de envoltura formado de un material laminar permeable a los líquidos y adaptado para envolver el material absorbente; y una cuerda de extracción del tampón de la cavidad vaginal.
Los antecedentes mencionados presentan unas características orientadas a evitar que las fibras absorbentes entren en contacto con el cuerpo de la usuaria, pudiendo adherirse al mismo y provocar irritaciones o dificultades de extracción del tampón.
En dichos antecedentes el cuerpo absorbente está constituido por una primera lámina de tejido no tejido, de material absorbente dispuesta sobre el núcleo absorbente antes del enrollado y conformación del tampón.
La conformación de los tampones mencionados, mediante el enrollado conjunto del núcleo absorbente y de la lámina absorbente, plantea dos inconvenientes: el primero de ellos es la dificultad para conformar el extremo anterior redondeado del tampón, debido al grueso formado en dicha zona por el núcleo absorbente durante su enrollado conjuntamente con la lámina absorbente; el segundo inconveniente es que durante dicho enrollado se produce una retracción en dirección longitudinal de la lámina absorbente respecto al núcleo absorbente, lo que provoca que, al completarse el enrollado, las fibras del extremo del núcleo absorbente sobresalgan ligeramente respecto al extremo de la lámina absorbente quedando expuestas y pudiendo adherirse al cuerpo de la usuaria.
En el caso del modelo de utilidad ES 1 160 610 U mencionado, estas fibras se ocultan mediante una tira de sujeción de polipropileno, que se fija por calor sobre la superficie exterior del cuerpo absorbente, una vez enrollado.
Esta solución evita que las fibras sobresalientes del núcleo en el extremo final del enrollado contacten con la usuaria, pero presenta el inconveniente de incluir en el tampón un material plástico que conlleva problemas medioambientales y un riesgo elevado de alergia o irritación para la usuaria.
Por tanto, el problema técnico que se plantea es el desarrollo de un tampón higiénico que elimine los problemas derivados del uso de materiales plásticos y que resuelva los inconvenientes mencionados, relacionados con la conformación redondeada del extremo anterior del tampón y con la exposición indeseada de las fibras del núcleo absorbente en el extremo final del enrollado.
Explicación de la invención
El tampón higiénico de esta invención es del tipo descrito en el preámbulo de la primera reivindicación y que comprende: un cuerpo de forma general cilindrica, prensado lateralmente y provisto de un extremo anterior redondeado en el sentido de introducción del tampón, y de un extremo posterior del que sobresale un cordón de extracción; estando formado dicho cuerpo por un núcleo absorbente, rectangular, con dos lados mayores y dos lados menores; estando dicho núcleo absorbente recubierto con una lámina absorbente de tejido no tejido, enrollado en dirección longitudinal y prensado conjuntamente con dicha lámina absorbente, quedando sus lados mayores orientados hacia los extremos anterior y posterior del cuerpo del tampón.
Para resolver los problemas planteados y, de acuerdo con la invención, el tampón está conformado en su totalidad con materiales naturales y no incluye ningún tipo de material plástico o sintético.
En concreto y preferiblemente, el tampón está conformado en su totalidad en algodón orgánico.
La lámina absorbente se encuentra enrollada sobre el núcleo absorbente cubriendo sus lados mayores y sus caras mayores. Para facilitar la conformación redondeada del extremo anterior del tampón, uno de los extremos de la lámina absorbente conforma un faldón que sobresale respecto a uno de los lados mayores del núcleo absorbente, de forma que una vez enrollados y prensados el núcleo y la lámina absorbente, dicho faldón conforma el extremo anterior redondeado del cuerpo del tampón.
De este modo, la zona de conformación del extremo anterior redondeado, no tiene el grueso del núcleo absorbente del núcleo, y se evita el inconveniente mencionado.
Entre las sucesivas vueltas del faldón queda un espacio hueco, en espiral, que facilita el plegado y prensado del faldón, y la conformación de mencionado extremo anterior redondeado del tampón.
De acuerdo con la invención, dicho núcleo absorbente tiene una longitud menor que la lámina absorbente, de forma que dicha lámina absorbente comprende un tramo extremo que sobresale por el lado menor del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo del tampón una vez enrollado; y que cierra dicho lado menor sobre el propio cuerpo del tampón, cubriéndolo totalmente.
De acuerdo con la invención, también se contempla que la lámina absorbente comprenda un tramo extremo que sobresale por el lado menor del núcleo absorbente que queda en el interior del cuerpo del tampón una vez enrollado y un tramo extremo que sobresale por el lado menor del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo del tampón una vez enrollado; y que cierra dicho lado menor sobre el propio cuerpo del tampón, cubriéndolo totalmente. El tramo extremo que sobresale por el lado menor del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo del tampón una vez enrollado tiene una longitud adecuada para compensar la retracción producida por el enrollado del conjunto de la lámina y el núcleo absorbente, y cubrir de forma holgada el extremo del núcleo absorbente, impidiendo que sus fibras queden expuestas y puedan entrar en contacto con la usuaria.
La fijación de la lámina absorbente sobre el núcleo se realiza preferiblemente por prensado, evitando la utilización de elementos adicionales de material plástico para la fijación y el cierre o remate del cuerpo del tampón.

- Las figuras 8 y 9 muestran sendas vistas en perspectiva del núcleo, recubierto con la lámina absorbente, una vez plegado por una zona descentrada y más alejada del extremo de la lámina absorbente que define el tramo extremo (31) sobresaliente, durante su enrollado conjunto en dirección longitudinal y previamente al prensado y conformación del tampón mostrado en la figura 1.

El tampón higiénico mostrado en la figura 1 , comprende un cuerpo (1 ) de forma general cilindrica, provisto de un extremo anterior (11 ) redondeado en el sentido introducción, y de un extremo posterior (12) del que sale un cordón de extracción (13).
Como se observa en la figura 2, el cuerpo (1 ) del tampón está conformado por un núcleo absorbente (2), recubierto con una lámina absorbente (3) de tejido no tejido, y enrollado en dirección longitudinal y prensado conjuntamente con dicha lámina absorbente (3).
En un ejemplo de realización de la presente invención, la lámina absorbente (3) está constituida por un tejido no tejido hidroentrelazado, para evitar que las fibras de tejido de la lámina absorbente (3) se adhieran a la pared vaginal de una usuaria y provocar irritaciones o dificultades de extracción del tampón.
El tampón está conformado en su totalidad con materiales naturales, preferiblemente algodón orgánico, y no incluye ningún tipo de material plástico o sintético.
Como se muestra en la figura 3, el núcleo absorbente (2) presenta una configuración rectangular, con dos lados mayores (21 ) que quedan orientados hacia los extremos anterior (11 ) y posterior (12) del cuerpo (1 ) una vez conformado el tampón, y dos lados menores (22).
La lámina absorbente (3) puede presentar diferentes configuraciones.
En una realización, según se muestra en la figura 3, la lámina absorbente (3) presenta una configuración rectangular y el núcleo absorbente (2) tiene una longitud menor que la lámina absorbente (3), comprendiendo dicha lámina absorbente (3) un tramo extremo (31 ) que sobresale respecto a uno de los lados menores (22) del núcleo absorbente (2).
El tramo extremo (31 ), sobresaliente, de la lámina absorbente (3) tiene una longitud adecuada para compensar la retracción producida por el enrollado del conjunto de la lámina absorbente (3) y el núcleo absorbente (2), y cubrir de forma holgada el extremo del núcleo absorbente (2), impidiendo que las fibras del núcleo absorbente (2) queden expuestas y puedan entrar en contacto con la usuaria.
En otra realización, según la invención, el núcleo absorbente (2) tiene una longitud menor que la lámina absorbente (3), y dicha lámina absorbente (3) comprende dos tramos extremos (31 , 33) que sobresalen respecto a los dos lados menores (22) del núcleo absorbente (2). El tramo extremo (33) sobresale por el lado menor (22) del núcleo absorbente que queda en el interior del cuerpo (1 ) una vez enrollado y el tramo extremo (31 ) sobresale por el lado menor (22) del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo (1 ) una vez enrollado, y cierra dicho lado menor (22) sobre el propio cuerpo (1 ), cubriendo totalmente el material del núcleo absorbente (2).
Como se muestra en las figuras 5 y 6, en esta realización la lámina absorbente (3) tiene una configuración tal que los tramos extremos (31 , 33) que sobresalen respecto a los dos lados menores (22) del núcleo absorbente (2) comprenden cada uno un lado inclinado o un lado con un segmento inclinado.
Dicha configuración es favorable para obtener un tampón con una superficie exterior continua sin extremos protuberantes, una vez enrollado, y para reforzar la sujeción del tampón en posición enrollada.
El núcleo absorbente (2) y la lámina absorbente (3), una vez enrollados, son prensados radialmente. El tampón resultante dispone de unas ranuras longitudinales (4), según se muestra en la figura 10, causadas por mordazas de presión puntiagudas. La configuración los tramos extremos (31 , 33) permite que los lados inclinados o lados con segmentos inclinados queden posicionados entre al menos dos de estas ranuras longitudinales (4), reforzando la sujeción de la lámina absorbente (3) en posición enrollada y evitando que el extremo (31 ) que sobresale por el lado menor (22) del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo (1 ) una vez enrollado quede suelto.
Tal como se muestra en la figura 4, una vez enrollada la lámina absorbente (3) sobre el núcleo absorbente (2), cubriendo sus lados mayores (21 ) y sus caras mayores (23), uno de los extremos longitudinales de la lámina absorbente (3) define un faldón (32) que sobresale respecto a uno de los lados mayores (21 ) del núcleo absorbente (2).
Al realizar el enrollado del núcleo absorbente (2) y la lámina absorbente (3), tal como se muestra en la figura 5, adoptan la forma cilindrica del tampón mostrada en la figura 6, y al final del enrollado, el tramo extremo (31 ) de la lámina absorbente (3) cierra el lado menor (22) del núcleo sobre el propio cuerpo (1 ), cubriéndolo totalmente e impidiendo que sus fibras queden expuestas al exterior.
Durante dicho enrollado, el faldón (32) de la lámina absorbente (3) define una espiral hueca y, durante el prensado del tampón, dicho faldón (32) conforma el extremo anterior redondeado (11 ) del tampón.
Una vez descrita suficientemente la naturaleza de la invención, así como un ejemplo de realización preferente, se hace constar a los efectos oportunos que los materiales, forma, tamaño y disposición de los elementos descritos podrán ser modificados, siempre y cuando ello no suponga una alteración de las características esenciales de la invención que se reivindican a continuación.

Claims

REIVINDICACIONES
1.- Tampón higiénico, comprendiendo un cuerpo (1 ) de forma general cilindrica provisto de un extremo anterior (11 ) redondeado en el sentido introducción del tampón y de un extremo posterior (12) del que sobresale un cordón de extracción (13); estando formado dicho cuerpo (1 ) por un núcleo absorbente (2), rectangular, con dos lados mayores (21 ) y dos lados menores (22); estando dicho núcleo absorbente recubierto con una lámina absorbente (3) de tejido no tejido, y enrollado en dirección longitudinal y prensado conjuntamente con dicha lámina absorbente (3), quedando orientados sus lados mayores (21 ) hacia los extremos anterior (11 ) y posterior (12) del cuerpo (1 ) del tampón; caracterizado porque el tampón está conformado en su totalidad con materiales naturales, y no incluye ningún tipo de material plástico o sintético.
2. Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 1 , caracterizado porque la lámina absorbente (3) de tejido no tejido es una lámina de tejido no tejido hidroentrelazado.

Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 1 , caracterizado porque la lámina absorbente (3) se encuentra enrollada sobre el núcleo absorbente (2) cubriendo sus lados mayores (21 ) y sus caras mayores (23); definiendo uno de los extremos de la lámina absorbente (3) un faldón (32) que sobresale respecto a uno de los lados mayores (21 ) del núcleo absorbente (2) y que, una vez enrollado y prensado, conforma el extremo anterior (11 ) redondeado del cuerpo (1 ) del tampón.
4. Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 1 , caracterizado porque el núcleo absorbente (2) tiene una longitud menor que la lámina absorbente (3), comprendiendo dicha lámina absorbente (3) un tramo extremo (33) que sobresale por el lado menor (22) del núcleo absorbente que queda en el interior del cuerpo (1 ) una vez enrollado y un tramo extremo (31 ) que sobresale por el lado menor (22) del núcleo absorbente que queda en el exterior del cuerpo (1 ) una vez enrollado, y que cierra dicho lado menor (22) sobre el propio cuerpo (1 ), cubriendo totalmente el material del núcleo absorbente (2).
5. Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 4, caracterizado porque los tramos extremos (31 , 33) de la lámina absorbente (3) comprenden un lado inclinado o un lado con un segmento inclinado.
6. Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 5, en el que dicho lado inclinado o segmento inclinado presentan un ángulo de inclinación a de entre 10 grados y 20 grados.
7.- Tampón higiénico, según la reivindicación 1 , caracterizado porque está conformado en su totalidad en algodón orgánico.
