Abstract

리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법, 이의 방법으로 제조된 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지에 관한 것으로서, 상기 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법은 Si을 포함하는 음극 활물질 전구체를 조(粗)타르(crude tar) 또는 소프트 피치로 코팅하는 단계 및 얻어진 코팅 생성물을 열처리하는 단계를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 조타르는 증류 공정으로 제거될 수 있는 저분자량 성분을 20 중량% 이하의 함량으로 포함하는 것이다.
