技术领域
本申请涉及服务器技术领域,具体涉及一种刀片服务器。
背景技术
刀片服务器系统是在有限的空间内安装一定数量刀片节点的服务器,是指在机架式机箱内插装多个卡式的服务器单元,为特殊应用行业和高密度计算环境专门设计,刀片服务器就像“刀片”一样,每一块“刀片”实际上就是一块系统主板,是实现高可用高密度的服务器。随着系统功耗逐渐增大,刀片服务器的散热设计面临着严峻的挑战。散热已逐渐成为制约高密度服务器发展的关键因素。
目前,强迫风冷是刀片服务器常用的散热方案,也就是在刀片服务器的后端设置主系统风扇,使用主系统风扇为刀片服务器的前插刀片及后插单板集中散热,主系统风扇使刀片服务器内形成如图1所示的从前到后的散热风道。但是,随着服务器计算性能与集成密度的提高,发热量及功率密度不断增大,风道流阻增强,以至于如图1所示的简单的前进后出风道设计难以满足系统散热需求。特别是刀片服务器的后插单板,由于前插刀片的散热使流经前插刀片的风已经具有一定热量了,再流到后插单板时不能起到很好的散热作用,所以后插单板的散热较难。
发明内容
为了至少在一定程度上解决上述至少一个技术问题,本申请实施例提供了以下方案。

如图3所示,竖插刀片模块20和后插模块30之间设置有背板11,背板11上设置有第一通风孔111,这样从箱体10前端进入箱体10内的风在流经竖插刀片模块20后,可通过背板11上的第一通风孔111进入到后插模块30中,对后插模块30进行散热。而仅通过这样使散热风从前到后依次流过竖插刀片模块20和后插模块30的散热方式,对于后插模块30的散热效果不佳,所以本申请进行了改进。
在本申请中,箱体10的侧板包括内侧板12以及外侧板13,如图2和图6所示,以形成从箱体10的前端到后端的两侧风道14,风道14中的风从箱体10的前端进入,流到箱体10后端的横插交换板模块30中,如图6所示,两侧风道14的风可不经过竖插刀片模块20而直接进入横插交换板模块30,对横插交换板模块30进行散热。
如图3所示,后插模块30包括由上至下设置的三层,依次为全宽交换板层31、主风扇层32以及半宽交换板层33。如图7所示,全宽交换板层31横插有全宽交换板311,图11是全宽交换板311的俯视图。全宽交换板311交换板为PCB板,其上设置有其它电子器件,如图7所示。主风扇层32设置有刀片服务器的主风扇321,如图8所示。半宽交换板层33横插有半宽交换板331,如图9所示,半宽交换板331也为PCB板,其上设置有其它电子器件。本申请刀片服务器对散热结构的改进主要是改进对全宽交换板311和半宽交换板331的散热。
请结合图3和图4,内侧板12上设置有与全宽交换板层31对应的第一进风口121,内侧板12上还设置与半宽交换板层33对应的第二进风口122,这样可以使刀片服务器两侧风道14的风分别从第一进风口121和第二进风口122进入全宽交换板层31和半宽交换板层33,对全宽交换板311和半宽交换板331进行散热。
另外,如图5和图7所示,全宽交换板层31后端的中间位置设置有排风扇312,从两侧风道14进入到全宽交换板层31的冷却风通过排风扇312排到箱体10外。而半宽交换板层33则通过刀片服务器的主风扇321来排风,由于主风扇层32设置在半宽交换板层33的上方,所以可以在半宽交换板层33的顶部设置第二通风孔332,这样就可以通过第二通 风孔332使半宽交换板层33和主风扇层32连通,以使主风扇321通过第二通风孔332将半宽交换板层33的风抽至排至主风扇层32并排出到箱体10外。如图8中实心箭头所示,进入到半宽交换板层33的冷却风通过主风扇321排出箱体10外。
本申请在刀片服务器两侧设置风道14使冷却风直达全宽交换板层31和半宽交换板层33,全宽交换板层31单独设置排风扇312进行排风,而半宽交换板层33则在其顶部开第二通风孔332,利用系统主风扇321来进行排风,散热效果好,且冷却风可均匀的流经全宽交换板层31和半宽交换板层33。另外,本申请同时还保留了原刀片服务器的散热方式,即如图6中空心箭头所示,冷却风直接从前到后的流动进行冷却,这样将改进后的散热方式和原散热方式结合,实现散热。
本申请中,如图7所示,全宽交换板311的左右两端分别连接在箱体10两侧的两块内侧板12上,也就是说,全宽交换板311沿左右方向的宽度与箱体10沿左右方向的宽度大致相同,能覆盖箱体10沿左右方向的整个宽度,因此称为全宽。具体的,内侧板12上设置有插槽,以使全宽交换板311可以插在内侧板12上。或者全宽交换板311也不一定直接插在内侧板12上,可以在内侧板12上设置其他的板件或支架来与全宽交换板311连接,在此不作限制。
进一步的,如图10所示,全宽交换板311为两块,且上下间隔地横插在内侧板12上。
更进一步的,如图10所示,每一全宽交换板311上均设置有排风扇312,排风扇312设置于全宽交换板311后端的中间处,这样将排风扇312设置于全宽交换板311的中间,就不会阻挡两侧风道14的风进入全宽交换板层31。
本申请中实施例中,如图10所示,半宽交换板331为两块,且并排设置,半宽交换板331的宽度为箱体10宽度的一半,两块半宽交换板331并排设置正好覆盖箱体10的宽度,两块半宽交换板331并排设置共同形成半宽交换板层33的底板。而如图10所示,在半宽交换板331的下方设置有刀片服务器的其它器件。
进一步的,如图10所示,两块半宽交换板331的上方设置有半宽交换板层顶板333,图13示出本申请中半宽交换板层顶板的俯视结构示意图,如图13所示,第二通风孔332设置于半宽交换板层顶板333上,第二通风孔332可为圆形,也可以为其它形状,对于第二通风孔332的数量和其在半宽交换板层顶板333上的设置位置在此不作限制,只要能将半宽交换板层31与主风扇层32连通即可。
在一种实施方式中,如图4所示,箱体10的顶部设置有服务器顶板16,如图5所示,服务器顶板16的内层设置有内层顶板15。服务器顶板16将箱体10的顶部封闭。如图5所示,内层顶板15上设置有与排风扇312相对应的开孔151,设置开孔151可以避免排风扇312干涉到内层顶板15。如图5所示,开孔151可以为矩形,其尺寸与设置在此处的排风扇312的顶部尺寸一致。图5所示中,设置了两个并排的排风扇312。
请继续参阅图5,第一进风口121为两个,分别设置于内侧板12上与全宽交换板层 31对应处的前后两端。可以理解的是,第一进风口121可以为圆形或者矩形通孔,也可以为通风齿片,或者为网孔等,只要能起到通风效果即可。
类似的,第二进风口122设置于内侧板12上与半宽交换板层33对应处的前后两端。
在一种实施方式中,如图8所示,主风扇321为若干个,若干个主风扇321组成的模组的两侧抵接在箱体10两侧的内侧板12上,也就是说主风扇321覆盖了箱体10沿左右方向的全部宽度,以达到最好的排气效果。
在一种实施方式中,主风扇321可选用80轴流风扇,80轴流风扇即正视的截面尺寸为80*80mm,而排风扇312为40轴流风扇。排风扇312的截面尺寸为主风扇321截面尺寸的一半。
本申请实施例所提供的刀片服务器,通过在刀片服务器箱体两侧设置单独的风道,使得后插模块从主系统风道和箱体两侧独立风道共同进风,有效地增加了进风量并降低了进风温度,另外还在位于横插交换板模块的上层的全宽交换板层设置了单独的排风扇,使进入全宽交换板层的冷却风经过换热后排出箱体外,而位于横插交换板模块的下层的半宽交换板层则在其顶部设置第二通风孔,通过主风扇对半宽交换板层进行排风,整个散热结构使全宽交换板层和半宽交换板层均可进行均匀散热。
显然,本申请的上述实施例仅仅是为了清楚说明本申请所作的举例,而并非是对本申请的实施方式的限定。对于所属领域的普通技术人员来说,能够进行各种明显的变化、重新调整和替代而不会脱离本申请的保护范围。这里无需也无法对所有的实施方式予以穷举。凡在本申请的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、等同替换和改进等,均应包含在本申请权利要求的保护范围之内。

Claims (10)

  1. 一种刀片服务器,包括箱体(10)以及分别位于所述箱体(10)前后两端的竖插刀片模块(20)和后插模块(30),所述竖插刀片模块(20)和所述后插模块(30)之间设置有背板(11),所述背板(11)上设置有第一通风孔(111),其特征在于,所述箱体(10)的侧板包括内侧板(12)以及外侧板(13),以形成从所述箱体(10)的前端到后端的两侧风道(14);
    所述后插模块(30)包括由上至下设置的全宽交换板层(31)、主风扇层(32)以及半宽交换板层(33);所述主风扇层(32)设置有所述刀片服务器的主风扇(321);
    所述内侧板(12)上设置有与所述全宽交换板层(31)对应的第一进风口(121),以及与所述半宽交换板层(33)对应的第二进风口(122);
    所述全宽交换板层(31)设置有排风扇(312);所述半宽交换板层(33)的顶部设置有与所述主风扇层(32)相通的第二通风孔(332)。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述全宽交换板层(31)横插有全宽交换板(311),所述全宽交换板(311)的左右两端分别连接在所述箱体(10)两侧的两块所述内侧板(12)上。
  3. 根据权利要求2所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述全宽交换板(311)为两块,且上下间隔地横插在所述内侧板(12)上。
  4. 根据权利要求3所述的刀片服务器,其中,每一所述全宽交换板(311)上均设置有所述排风扇(312),所述排风扇(312)设置于所述全宽交换板(311)后端的中间处。
  5. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述半宽交换板层(33)横插有半宽交换板(331),所述半宽交换板(331)为两块,且并排设置,共同形成所述半宽交换板层(33)的底板。
  6. 根据权利要求5所述的刀片服务器,其中,两块所述半宽交换板(331)的上方设置有半宽交换板层顶板(333),所述第二通风孔(332)设置于所述半宽交换板层顶板(333)上。
  7. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述箱体(10)的顶部设置有服务器顶板(16),所述服务器顶板(16)的内层设置有内层顶板(15),所述内层顶板(15)上设置有与所述排风扇(312)对应的开孔(151)。
  8. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述第一进风口(121)设置于所述内侧板(12)上与所述全宽交换板层(31)对应处的前后两端;
    所述第二进风口(122)设置于所述内侧板(12)上与所述半宽交换板层(33)对应处的前后两端。
  9. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述主风扇(321)为若干个,若干个所述主风扇(321)组成的模组的两侧抵接在所述箱体(10)两侧的所述内侧板(12)上。
  10. 根据权利要求1所述的刀片服务器,其中,所述主风扇(321)及所述排风扇(312)均为轴流风扇。
