Abstract
Description
また研究者が優れた研究成果をあげるには、研究者自身の研究努力と共に、企業、大学、財団などの研究支援者からの支援が重要である。研究支援者からの協同研究の申入れ、研究開発費の提供、あるいは、雇用契約の締結等の支援は、恵まれない環境下にある研究者に多大な恩恵を与えるものである。
高額の投稿料は、恵まれない環境下で働いている研究者にとって負担が重く、その結果、自己の研究成果を世に出す機会のない、また、資金がなく研究を断念せざるを得ない研究者が多く存在する。
自然科学・社会科学分野の学術雑誌を対象として、その雑誌の影響度や引用された頻度を測る指標として、「ジャーナル影響度指標:インパクトファクタ」が、研究者の評価を測る物差しとして多用されている。しかし、あくまでも「インパクトファクタ」は、クラリベイト・アナリティクス社の引用文献「Web of Science」に収録されるデータを元に算出される特定の学術雑誌に掲載された「平均的な論文」の被引用回数に基づく「学術雑誌」の評価指標であって、そこに掲載されている論文やその論文を投稿した研究者の評価指標ではない。また、近年になって「論文レベル」や「研究者レベル」での定量化が可能な評価指標として「オルトメトリクス(Altmetrics)」がエルゼビアなどの大手の出版社などから提供されている。
しかし、「インパクトファクタ値」や「オルトメトリクス値」を研究者の評価を測る物差しとして使用すると、「インパクトファクタ値」や「オルトメトリクス値」の高い学術雑誌に論文を掲載すること自体が研究者の研究目的となってしまい、研究者を多くの観点から評価するという客観性を欠くものとなってしまう。
また、研究者は研究成果が公平に評価され、公正な信用格付けを受けることが出来る。
さらに、研究者は信用格付けに応じて支援者からのインセンティブや研究オファーを享受することができる。
研究情報管理システム100は、プラットフォーム50を備え、プラットフォーム50には、ダッシュボード機能を持つダッシュボードツール53と、動画配信機能を持つエキスパートライブツール54と、所定の情報データに基づいて研究者の信用格付けをスコア化して表示するクレジットレイティングツール55と、通信回線上で集合して会話しながら学習出来るオンラインスタディーアゴラ(オンライン学習広場)ツール56が備わっている。
以下、プラットフォーム50に備わっている各ツール53,54,55,56を用いてどのようにして研究者10の活動支援を行うかを説明する。
研究者10は自己の研究情報を論文に著述し、プラットフォーム50にオンラインで投稿する(ステップ101)。ダッシュボードツール53は入力された研究情報データを人工知能(AI)を用いて分析及び加工することによりその内容を一目で認識・把握可能な可視化されたダッシュボード情報として再構築し、これを企業・大学・関連財団などの研究支援者20にオンラインで提供する(ステップ102)。
このダッシュボード情報は、いったんプラットフォーム内のデータベース(DB)に蓄積され、研究支援者20からダッシュボードツール53に対し、アクセスがなされたときにデータベースから読出して行うようにする。
研究者10にとっての利点は、従来のオフラインによる査読を伴う論文投稿に比較して、論文掲載料金が格段に安くかつ投稿手続が簡素化されているオンライン投稿であるため掲載料金や掲載手続を気にせず、論文投稿の機会を増やすことが出来ることである。
なお、ダッシュボード情報に再構築された研究者からの投稿論文は、エキスパートライブツール54を介して一般参加者30に対しても提供することが出来る。研究者10は論文の投稿だけでなく、種々の研究情報データをダッシュボードツールに入力することが出来る。
これまで、研究者の研究内容の主たる発表は、専ら、学会での論文発表であった。したがって発表の機会が限定され、その研究内容を知ることの出来る者も学会に参加した関係者に限定されていた。
本発明のプラットフォーム50では、研究者10は研究内容や自己の見解をオンライン動画や編集動画として広く一般参加者30に配信することが出来る。
これにより、視聴している者に研究者自身をアピールすることができる。研究者10は、自己の研究内容をスマートホンや専用端末を使用して配信動画としてまとめ、オンラインでエキスパートライブツール54に配信する(ステップ105)。
ライブ配信された動画は、後の視聴のためにデータ圧縮して編集動画に編集され、プラットフォーム内のデータベースに蓄積される。後に、一般参加者30からエキスパートライブツール54にアクセスがなされたときにデータベースから読み出されて編集動画として配信される。
ダッシュボード化された投稿論文に関してもエキスパートライブツール54を介して視聴することができる。エキスパートライブツール54を介しての論文、編集動画、ライブ配信動画の視聴は、一般参加者30のみならず、研究支援者20や他の研究者10も可能である。
さらに、エキスパートライブツール54は、動画ブックマーク(栞)機能を備えており、見たいシーンをすぐに呼び出せるため視聴者にとっては利用頻度の高い便利な機能である。
主に一般個人の社会的信用力をスコア化して表示するものとして米国のFICOや中国のセサミクレジット等が有名であるが、研究者としての信用格付けを可視化してスコア化したものは知られていない。
本発明のプラットフォーム50では、クレジットレイティングツール55により研究者10の信用格付けを行うことが出来る(以下、これを「ケミクレジット」と称する。)。
「ケミクレジット」は研究者としてどれだけ他の研究者と繋がっているか、企業・大学との共同研究実績があるか、執筆した論文の評価、このプラットフォーム50を通じてどれだけ社会や教育に貢献しているかを種々の角度から人工知能(Artificial Intelligence:AI)を用いて研究者10を評価し、その結果(信用格付け)をクレジットスコアとして表示するものである。
第1データはプラットフォーム50のデータベースに格納されているダッシュボード情報である(ステップ109)。
第2データはエキスパートライブツール54によってデータベースに格納された「投げ銭」として与えられた評価ポイントである(ステップ111)。
第3データは、研究支援者20から研究者10の信用情報として与えられる企業実績やインパクト・ファクタ値やオルトメトリクス値などの情報である(ステップ110)。
さらに、データベース52で研究者に紐づけられている研究者同士のネットワーク(ノード)を参照し、直接的な繋がりや共同研究などを行っている他の研究者(ダイレクトノード)と、そのダイレクトノードと繋がっている別の研究者(サブノード)の第1データ~第3データを評価した結果を第4データとして追加することができる。
これら第1データ~第4データから論文や動画に対する一般参加者30や研究支援者20の閲覧(視聴)者数、閲覧(視聴)回数、研究者のネットワーク、インパクト・ファクタ値やオルトメトリクス値それぞれの情報及び類する情報に対して、多変量解析や俯瞰解析も考慮した人工知能(AI)によって学術性と市場性を公平化させた評価を行うようにしてもよい。
本発明のプラットフォーム50は、研究者10による研究グループの立ち上げや研究グループへの参加(ステップ113)と一般参加者30による参加(ステップ114)とを目的としたオンラインスタディーアゴラ(オンライン学習広場)56を備えている。このオンラインスタディーアゴラ56では、研究者10、研究支援者20、一般参加者相互が通信回線上で集合して種々な研究テーマについて討論、学習することができる。
研究者10の第1端末、研究支援者20の第2端末及び一般参加者30の第3端末が、ネットワーク40を介してサーバ51とデータベース(DB)52とを有するプラットフォーム50にアクセス可能に接続されている。第1~第3端末からプラットフォーム50のサーバ51にアクセスすることにより、プラットフォーム50に備えられているダッシュボードツール53、エキスパートライブツール54、クレジットレイティングツール55及びオンラインスタディーアゴラツール56が駆動され、演算結果がデータベース52に格納又は第1~第3端末と送受信されるように構成されている。
なお第1~第3端末は、研究者、研究支援者および一般参加者1台しか表示されていないが、複数の研究者、研究支援者および一般参加者それぞれ1台または複数の端末を設けても良いことは言うまでもない。
エキスパートライブツール54は、第1端末10から配信される動画を配信動画として第3端末30にライブ配信するか、編集動画としてデータベース52に格納すると共に、前記配信動画又は前記編集動画に対する評価として前記第3端末30を介して送信された評価ポイントを第2データとしてデータベース52に格納する機能を有している。
なお前述したように第4データを追加して信用格付けを行ってもよい。
オンラインスタディーアゴラツール56は、前記第1端末10、前記第2端末20、前記第3端末30を介して研究者、研究支援者、一般参加者相互がオンライン上で集合して学習する機能を有している。
なお、第1~第3端末10~30のサーバ51へのアクセスに際しては各々ユーザID及びパスワードによるアカウントを取得し、これをデータベース52に登録しておく会員登録が必要である。
ダッシュボードツール53によって作製されたダッシュボード情報は研究者10、研究支援者20、一般参加者30などのメンバーによってオンラインスタディーアゴラ56によって利用される。また、ダッシュボード情報は一般会員30と研究者10とによってエキスパートライブ54により利用される。
研究支援者20はダッシュボード53から研究情報を検索314し、その研究の詳細情報316とクレジットレイティング55にアクセスして研究者の信用格付けとに基づいて共同研究の申し込み318を行うことが出来る。
なお視聴される論文については、予めダッシュボード53内に登録402され、研究者10の研究実績についても評価404され、クレジットレイティングツール55に信用格付けされている。
研究支援者20、一般参加者30、他の研究者10は、エキスパートライブツール54により配信される研究者10の論文を視聴406し、称賛に値する場合には投げ銭408を与えることが出来る。この投げ銭408により研究者の所有するポイントが補充410される。
なお視聴される動画については、予めエキスパートライブツール54内に登録502され、研究者10の研究実績についても評価504され、クレジットレイティングツール55に信用格付けされている。
研究者10がライブを開始506すると、ライブに参加508する研究支援者20、一般参加者30、他の研究者10は、エキスパートライブツール54により配信されるライブ動画を視聴510し、称賛に値する場合には投げ銭512を与えることが出来る。この投げ銭512により研究者の所有するポイントが補充514される。
ここで主催者60となれるのは研究者10のみであり、参加者70となれるのは、他の研究者10、研究支援者20、一般参加者30である。
主催者60と参加者70とは予め、オンラインスタディーアゴラツール56にフレンド登録602をしておく必要がある。
主催者60は、研究テーマ毎にグループを生成604し、オンラインビデオ会議を開始606し、グループ毎の参加予定者に対し、オンラインビデオ会議に招待608する。招待に応じた参加者70はグループ毎に参加610してオンラインビデオ会議に参加612する。
オンラインビデオ会議の参加者は、会議の参加者の発言内容が称賛に価すると判断した場合、当該参加者に対して投げ銭614を与えることが出来る。この投げ銭614により当該参加者の所有するポイントが補充される。
研究者IDが取得できればどのタイミングでも「投げ銭」が可能である。従って、「投げ銭」は(A)ストリーミング配信時、(B)アーカイブビデオ配信時、(C)論文配信時、(D)オンライン会議時の4箇所で発生する。「投げ銭」があったとき、API(Application Programming Interface)を使用して配信者にその旨を伝えることが出来る。また、図7に示すようにポイント数(例750ポイント)を表示した画面表示Pも可能である。またオンライン会議(D)の場合には会議参加者を指定して、個々に「投げ銭」を与えることも可能である。
このモニタリングの目的は、(1)優良会員にはインセンティブの向上を行い悪質会員にはペナルティを課す、(2)会員の利用動向を収集して提携する企業・大学・財団(研究支援者)にサマリーを報告し、新しい研究や人気のある研究へ資金を提供してくれるよう促すことにある。
このように世界中の研究者に対して取り組むことで、品位や人間性の向上だけでなく差別も無くしていくことが出来る。
Claims (3)
- 研究者の第1端末と研究支援者の第2端末と一般参加者の第3端末とが、ネットワークを介して、サーバとデータベースとを有するプラットフォームの前記サーバにアクセスすることにより、前記研究者への支援活動に資する研究情報管理システムにおいて、
前記プラットフォームは、
-前記第1端末から投稿される研究情報データを分析及び加工し、前記データベースに第1データとして格納するダッシュボードツールと;
-前記第1端末から配信される動画を配信動画として前記第3端末にライブ配信するか、編集動画として前記データベースに格納すると共に、前記配信動画又は前記編集動画に対する評価として前記第3端末を介して送信された評価ポイントを第2データとして前記データベースに格納するエキスパートライブツールと;
-前記第1データ、前記第2データ及び前記研究者の研究信用情報として前記第2端末より送信され、前記データベースに格納された第3データに基づいて人工知能(Artificial Intelligence:AI)を用いて前記研究者の信用格付けをスコア化して表示するクレジットレイティングツールと;
を具備する研究情報管理システム。 - 前記クレジットレイティングツールが、前記ネットワークを介して互いに接続された複数の他の研究者についての前記第1データ、前記第2データ、及び前記第3データを評価した結果を第4データとして追加して前記研究者の信用格付けをスコア化して表示する請求項1に記載の研究情報管理システム。
- 前記プラットフォームは、前記第1端末、前記第2端末、前記第3端末を介して前記研究者、前記研究支援者、前記一般参加者相互が通信回線上で集合可能なオンラインスタディーアゴラ(オンライン学習広場)ツールを更に具備する請求項1又は2に記載の研究情報管理システム。
