Description
本開示は、眼用保護部材、眼の保護方法及び光硬化物の製造方法に関する。
従来から、紫外線による眼への悪影響が問題視されている。例えば、自然光、オフィス機器の液晶ディスプレイや、スマートフォンまたは携帯電話等の携帯機器のディスプレイ等からの発光に含まれる青色光により、眼の疲れや痛みを感じるなどが知られている。

従来から、紫外線の眼への悪影響を除去する観点から、紫外線を良好に吸収又は反射する機能をレンズに付与する試みが行われてきた。
特許文献1~特許文献4に記載の光学材料では、太陽光に含まれる紫外線を除去することが想定されていると考えられる。
しかし、太陽光以外にも、紫外線の波長に近い波長を有する光が発生する場合がある。例えば、光硬化性材料に特定波長の光を照射して、上記光硬化性材料を硬化させて光硬化物を得る場合が挙げられる。
この場合、上記照射する光が光硬化性材料によって反射することで発生する反射光は、紫外線の波長に近い波長を有することがある。
本開示の発明者らは、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長にピークを有する光を照射する場合、その反射光は、眼に有害な波長の光を含むことを見出した。例えば、405nmの光を照射して光硬化を行う場合は、400nm~420nm付近の有害性が懸念される光が反射光として放出されることがある。
特許文献1~特許文献4に記載の光学材料では、太陽光に含まれる紫外線を除去することが想定されていると考えられる。
しかし、太陽光以外にも、紫外線の波長に近い波長を有する光が発生する場合がある。例えば、光硬化性材料に特定波長の光を照射して、上記光硬化性材料を硬化させて光硬化物を得る場合が挙げられる。
この場合、上記照射する光が光硬化性材料によって反射することで発生する反射光は、紫外線の波長に近い波長を有することがある。
本開示の発明者らは、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長にピークを有する光を照射する場合、その反射光は、眼に有害な波長の光を含むことを見出した。例えば、405nmの光を照射して光硬化を行う場合は、400nm~420nm付近の有害性が懸念される光が反射光として放出されることがある。
本開示の実施形態が解決しようとする第一の課題は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に、上記照射した光及び上記照射した光の反射光に含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる眼用保護部材、眼の保護方法及び光硬化物の製造方法を提供することである。
上記課題を解決する手段には、以下の態様が含まれる。
<1> 光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
<2> 前記波長Aが、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長である<1>に記載の眼用保護部材。
<3> 前記波長Aが、200nm~500nmの範囲内である<1>又は<2>に記載の眼用保護部材。

本開示の実施形態によれば、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に、上記照射した光及び上記照射した光の反射光に含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる眼用保護部材、眼の保護方法及び光硬化物の製造方法を提供することができる。
本開示において、「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値及び上限値として含む範囲を意味する。
本開示に段階的に記載されている数値範囲において、ある数値範囲で記載された上限値又は下限値は、他の段階的な記載の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値に置き換えてもよい。また、本開示に記載されている数値範囲において、ある数値範囲で記載された上限値又は下限値は、実施例に示されている値に置き換えてもよい。

≪眼用保護部材≫
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。

本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられる。具体的には、例えば、波長405nmにピークを有する光を、光硬化性材料(自動車の傷を補修する際に用いられるパテ等)に照射する際、照射した光が光硬化性材料又は前記光硬化性材料の周囲の部材に当たって反射することで反射光が発生する。上記反射光の波長は照射した光の波長405nmよりも長波長(例えば、405nm超420nm以下の範囲内)となる傾向がある。
一般に、紫外線の波長領域から420nm程度の波長を有する光は、眼にとって有害であることが知られているところ、上記照射した光及び上記反射光が眼に悪影響を及ぼすことが懸念される。さらに、一般に、光硬化性材料を硬化させる作業は、光硬化性材料と光を照射する光源と眼とが手の届く程度の距離の範囲内に存在する状況で行われるため、より一層眼が悪影響を受けやすい状況であると考えられる。
従って、眼にとって有害な光から眼を保護する観点からは、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる場合、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光を眼に容易に到達させないことが望ましいと考えられる。
一般に、紫外線の波長領域から420nm程度の波長を有する光は、眼にとって有害であることが知られているところ、上記照射した光及び上記反射光が眼に悪影響を及ぼすことが懸念される。さらに、一般に、光硬化性材料を硬化させる作業は、光硬化性材料と光を照射する光源と眼とが手の届く程度の距離の範囲内に存在する状況で行われるため、より一層眼が悪影響を受けやすい状況であると考えられる。
従って、眼にとって有害な光から眼を保護する観点からは、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる場合、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光を眼に容易に到達させないことが望ましいと考えられる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、厚さが2mmである場合に、(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下であり、(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下であり、(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である光透過部を備える。これによって、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられる場合、本開示の眼用保護部材は、上記照射した光の反射光に含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる。
<用途>
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業を行う際に用いられる。
上述の通り、光硬化作業において、眼を保護する観点からは、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光を眼に容易に到達させないことが重要である。
この点において、本開示の眼用保護部材であれば、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光の透過を良好に抑制することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業を行う際に用いられる。
上述の通り、光硬化作業において、眼を保護する観点からは、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光を眼に容易に到達させないことが重要である。
この点において、本開示の眼用保護部材であれば、眼にとって有害な波長を有する照射光及び反射光の透過を良好に抑制することができる。
(波長A)
本開示における波長Aは、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長であってもよく、前記光重合開始剤の最大吸収波長であってもよい。
また、本開示における波長Aは、光硬化性材料中の光開始剤の吸収波長により決まるが、通常は200nm~500nmの範囲内にある場合が多い。
波長Aが200nm以上であることで、波長Aの光が光硬化性材料の内部に侵入しやすくなり、光硬化性材料をその厚さ方向に比較的均一に硬化させることができる。上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、250nm以上であることが好ましく、300nm以上であることがより好ましく、380nm以上であることがさらに好ましく、400nm以上であることが特に好ましい。一方、波長Aが500nm以下であることで照射光のエネルギーを高め、光硬化性材料の硬化を早くすることができる。上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、480nm以下が好ましく、420nm以下がより好ましく、405nm以下がさらに好ましい。
また、波長Aが500nm以下であることで、光硬化作業中に作業者が受けるまぶしさを軽減することができ、作業性を良好に維持することができる。
上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、480nm以下であることが好ましく、420nm以下であることがより好ましい。
以上の観点から、波長Aは200nm~500nmの範囲内にあることが好ましく、300nm~420nmの範囲内にあることがより好ましく、350nm~405nmの範囲内にあることがさらに好ましい。
本開示における波長Aは、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長であってもよく、前記光重合開始剤の最大吸収波長であってもよい。
また、本開示における波長Aは、光硬化性材料中の光開始剤の吸収波長により決まるが、通常は200nm~500nmの範囲内にある場合が多い。
波長Aが200nm以上であることで、波長Aの光が光硬化性材料の内部に侵入しやすくなり、光硬化性材料をその厚さ方向に比較的均一に硬化させることができる。上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、250nm以上であることが好ましく、300nm以上であることがより好ましく、380nm以上であることがさらに好ましく、400nm以上であることが特に好ましい。一方、波長Aが500nm以下であることで照射光のエネルギーを高め、光硬化性材料の硬化を早くすることができる。上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、480nm以下が好ましく、420nm以下がより好ましく、405nm以下がさらに好ましい。
また、波長Aが500nm以下であることで、光硬化作業中に作業者が受けるまぶしさを軽減することができ、作業性を良好に維持することができる。
上記同様の観点から、波長Aは、480nm以下であることが好ましく、420nm以下であることがより好ましい。
以上の観点から、波長Aは200nm~500nmの範囲内にあることが好ましく、300nm~420nmの範囲内にあることがより好ましく、350nm~405nmの範囲内にあることがさらに好ましい。
光硬化性材料を良好に硬化させること及び光硬化作業中に作業者が受けるまぶしさを軽減することを両立する観点から、前記波長Aが、280nm、365nm、385nm、395nm、405nm、420nm及び480nmからなる群から選ばれる1つであることが好ましく、前記波長Aが、365nm又は405nmであることがより好ましい。
(光硬化性材料)
本開示における光硬化性材料は、光重合開始剤を含み、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射された際に硬化する。

(光重合開始剤)
本開示における光硬化性材料は、光重合開始剤を含む。
これによって、光硬化性材料に光を照射した際に、光硬化性材料の硬化を促進することができる。
前記光硬化性材料が、波長A-20nm以上波長A+20nm以下の範囲内の波長を含む光を照射することにより前記光硬化性材料の硬化を開始させる光重合開始剤を含んでいてもよい。
これによって、光を照射することにより、光硬化性材料をより良好に硬化させることができる。
上記光重合開始剤としては、特に制限はなく、公知の光重合開始剤を用いることができる。
例えば、特開2016-147989号公報、特開2006-348210号公報等に記載の光硬化性材料を用いてもよい。
本開示における光硬化性材料は、光重合開始剤を含む。
これによって、光硬化性材料に光を照射した際に、光硬化性材料の硬化を促進することができる。
前記光硬化性材料が、波長A-20nm以上波長A+20nm以下の範囲内の波長を含む光を照射することにより前記光硬化性材料の硬化を開始させる光重合開始剤を含んでいてもよい。
これによって、光を照射することにより、光硬化性材料をより良好に硬化させることができる。
上記光重合開始剤としては、特に制限はなく、公知の光重合開始剤を用いることができる。
例えば、特開2016-147989号公報、特開2006-348210号公報等に記載の光硬化性材料を用いてもよい。
(重合性化合物)
本開示における光硬化性材料は、重合性化合物を含んでもよい。
重合性化合物としては特に制限はなく、公知の材料を用いることができる。
例えば、特開2006-348210号公報に記載のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、特開2016-147989号公報に記載の光硬化性化合物等を用いてもよい。
本開示における光硬化性材料は、重合性化合物を含んでもよい。
重合性化合物としては特に制限はなく、公知の材料を用いることができる。
例えば、特開2006-348210号公報に記載のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、特開2016-147989号公報に記載の光硬化性化合物等を用いてもよい。
<光透過部>
本開示の眼用保護部材は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
本開示における光透過部が上記(1)~(3)を満たすことで、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過を良好に抑制することができ、かつ、眼にとって有害性が低い波長を有する光を良好に眼に到達させることができる。その結果、眼を良好に保護することができ、かつ、光硬化作業中の視認性を良好に維持することができる。
光透過部が、(1)及び(2)を満たすことで、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害な波長を有する光に対する透過抑制性能を向上させることができ、(3)を満たすことで、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害性が低い波長を有する光の透過性を向上させることができる。
その結果、本開示における光透過部が上記(1)~(3)を満たすことで、眼を良好に保護することができる。また、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着している状態での周囲の視認性を良好に維持することができる。
光透過部が、(1)及び(2)を満たすことで、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害な波長を有する光に対する透過抑制性能を向上させることができ、(3)を満たすことで、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害性が低い波長を有する光の透過性を向上させることができる。
その結果、本開示における光透過部が上記(1)~(3)を満たすことで、眼を良好に保護することができる。また、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着している状態での周囲の視認性を良好に維持することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、波長Aが400nm以上である場合には、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たし、波長Aが400nm未満である場合には、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1’)~(3’)を満たす光透過部を備えることが好ましい。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
(1’)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2’)波長420nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3’)波長440nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
これによって、目にとって有害性の高い波長を有する光の透過をより抑制することができる。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。

これによって、目にとって有害性の高い波長を有する光の透過をより抑制することができる。
(光透過率)
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。これによって、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害な波長を有する光に対する透過抑制性能を向上させることができる。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が3%以下であることが好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が0%超であってもよく、1%以上であってもよい。
本開示における光透過率は、分光光度計(島津製作所社製の島津分光光度計 UV-1600等)を使用し、紫外-可視光スペクトルを得ることで測定する。
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。これによって、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害な波長を有する光に対する透過抑制性能を向上させることができる。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が3%以下であることが好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が0%超であってもよく、1%以上であってもよい。
本開示における光透過率は、分光光度計(島津製作所社製の島津分光光度計 UV-1600等)を使用し、紫外-可視光スペクトルを得ることで測定する。
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。これによって、眼用保護部材における眼にとって有害な波長を有する光に対する透過抑制性能を向上させることができる。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が60%以下であることが好ましく、50%以下であることがより好ましく、40%以下であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、1%以上であってもよく、3%以上であってもよい。
また、後述の(4)に示す通り、前記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超であることが好ましい。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が60%以下であることが好ましく、50%以下であることがより好ましく、40%以下であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、1%以上であってもよく、3%以上であってもよい。
また、後述の(4)に示す通り、前記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超であることが好ましい。
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。これによって、眼にとって有害性が低い波長を有する光の透過性を良好に維持することができる。また、視界が明るくなり、眼が備える瞳孔が収縮するため、有害な光が眼の奥に到達することが抑制できると考えられる。また、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着している状態での周囲の視認性を良好に維持することができる。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が90%以上であることが好ましく、95%以上であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、99%以下であってもよく、98%以下であってもよい。
上記の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が90%以上であることが好ましく、95%以上であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、99%以下であってもよく、98%以下であってもよい。
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、200nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下であることが好ましい。
また、本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下であることがより好ましい。
これによって、眼にとって特に有害な光(200nm~波長Aの間の波長の光、及び、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光)から、眼をより良好に保護することができる。例えば、誤って直接波長Aの光を覗き込んだ場合などにおいて、眼を良好に保護することができる。
「200nm~波長A」における波長Aとしては、例えば、280nm、365nm、385nm、395nm、405nm、420nm及び480nm等が挙げられる。
「380nm~波長A」における波長Aとしては、例えば、385nm、395nm、405nm、420nm及び480nm等が挙げられる。
本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、200nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、3%以下であることがより好ましく、1%以下であることがさらに好ましく、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率についても同様である。
また、本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下であることがより好ましい。
これによって、眼にとって特に有害な光(200nm~波長Aの間の波長の光、及び、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光)から、眼をより良好に保護することができる。例えば、誤って直接波長Aの光を覗き込んだ場合などにおいて、眼を良好に保護することができる。
「200nm~波長A」における波長Aとしては、例えば、280nm、365nm、385nm、395nm、405nm、420nm及び480nm等が挙げられる。

本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、200nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、3%以下であることがより好ましく、1%以下であることがさらに好ましく、380nm~波長Aの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率についても同様である。
上記同様の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、300nm~400nmの間の波長の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が3%以下であることがより好ましく、1%以下であることがさらに好ましい。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、前記光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たすことが好ましい。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。

本開示の発明者らは、以下の知見を基に、本開示における光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たすことが好適であることを見出した。
光硬化性材料を光によって硬化させる作業中に、その作業の正確性、効率性等を担保することがしばしば求められる。例えば、上記作業中に、周囲の環境、状況等を良好に視認できる視認性が求められる。
特に、光照射している部位を視認しやすくして、所定の部位に光を照射する精度を高めること(以下、照射領域の視認性ともいう)が求められる。
上述の点に関し、眼に到達する光の透過を抑制し過ぎた場合には、上記視認性が低下し、作業の正確性、効率性等が低下すると考えられる。
ここで、視認性を向上させるためには、一定量の光が必要であるところ、光の透過性を向上させ過ぎると、目にとって有害な光が眼に到達する量が増大すると考えられる。
また、光硬化性材料を光によって硬化させる作業は、しばしば暗所において行われることがある。一般に、暗所において、眼が備える瞳孔が広がるため、より多くの有害な光が眼に到達することが可能な状態となると考えられる。即ち、上記作業を暗所において行う場合、有害な光によって、より一層眼が悪影響を受けやすくなると考えられる。
なお瞳孔を収縮させ有害性のある光が眼の奥に到達することを抑制する観点からは、一般的にまぶしさを感じやすいとされる500nm~600nmの波長の光を一定以上の割合で除外し、瞳孔の収縮を促す方法も好ましい。
光硬化性材料を光によって硬化させる作業中に、その作業の正確性、効率性等を担保することがしばしば求められる。例えば、上記作業中に、周囲の環境、状況等を良好に視認できる視認性が求められる。
特に、光照射している部位を視認しやすくして、所定の部位に光を照射する精度を高めること(以下、照射領域の視認性ともいう)が求められる。
上述の点に関し、眼に到達する光の透過を抑制し過ぎた場合には、上記視認性が低下し、作業の正確性、効率性等が低下すると考えられる。
ここで、視認性を向上させるためには、一定量の光が必要であるところ、光の透過性を向上させ過ぎると、目にとって有害な光が眼に到達する量が増大すると考えられる。
また、光硬化性材料を光によって硬化させる作業は、しばしば暗所において行われることがある。一般に、暗所において、眼が備える瞳孔が広がるため、より多くの有害な光が眼に到達することが可能な状態となると考えられる。即ち、上記作業を暗所において行う場合、有害な光によって、より一層眼が悪影響を受けやすくなると考えられる。
なお瞳孔を収縮させ有害性のある光が眼の奥に到達することを抑制する観点からは、一般的にまぶしさを感じやすいとされる500nm~600nmの波長の光を一定以上の割合で除外し、瞳孔の収縮を促す方法も好ましい。
以上により、本開示の発明者らは、本開示の光硬化作業を行う場合において、上記作業中に、周囲の環境、状況等をより良好に視認できる視認性と、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制して眼を保護することと、をより良好に両立させるという課題を見出した。
上記課題に対し、本開示の研究者らは、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が重要であることを見出した。
即ち、光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過率が5%超70%以下であることによって、上記課題をより良好に克服できることを見出した。また、さらに視感透過率を一定以上に高めることで、瞳孔を収縮させ、有害な光が眼の奥に侵入することを防ぐことができると考えられる。
なお、本開示において、視感透過率は、目に見える光(可視光)に対する光透過部の透過率を意味する。
上記課題に対し、本開示の研究者らは、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が重要であることを見出した。
即ち、光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過率が5%超70%以下であることによって、上記課題をより良好に克服できることを見出した。また、さらに視感透過率を一定以上に高めることで、瞳孔を収縮させ、有害な光が眼の奥に侵入することを防ぐことができると考えられる。
なお、本開示において、視感透過率は、目に見える光(可視光)に対する光透過部の透過率を意味する。
上記同様の観点、特に照射領域の視認性という観点からは、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が、20%以上であることがより好ましく、25%以上であることがさらに好ましく、30%以上であることが特に好ましい。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、波長Aが400nm以上である場合には、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(4)を満たし、波長Aが400nm未満である場合には、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1’)~(4’)を満たす光透過部を備えることが好ましい。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。

これによって、目にとって有害性の高い波長を有する光の透過をより抑制することができる。
色を識別できる視認性、及び、物理的な耐衝撃性の観点からは、JIS T-8147:2016(保護めがね)に記載の規格の少なくとも一部を満たすことが好ましい。
有害な光から眼を保護するという観点からは、光硬化性材料に照射する光の強度、アーク放電の強度などに応じてJIS T-8141:2016(遮光保護具)の規格に記載の規格の少なくとも一部を満たすことが好ましい。
本開示の好ましい態様として、瞳孔を収縮させることで眼にとって有害な波長を含む反射光が眼に侵入することを抑制し、かつ、作業性を維持する観点からは、視感透過率が20%以上であることが好ましく、50%以上であることがさらに好ましく、80%以上であることがさらに好ましく、85%以上であることが特に好ましい。
なお、視感透過率の測定方法は、JIS T-8147:2016に記載された測定方法である。

(光吸収剤)
厚さが2mmである場合に、上記(1)~(3)に係る透過率を満たす光透過部の態様としては、特に制限はなく、例えば、光透過部が光吸収剤を含む態様であってもよい。
上記光透過部が光吸収剤を含む態様としては、光吸収剤を光透過部の表面に含む態様(以下、コート態様ともいう。)であってもよく、光吸収剤が光透過部の高分子中に含まれる態様であってもよい。光吸収剤が光透過部の高分子中に含まれる態様としては、例えば、厚み方向の全長に対して90%以上の領域に含む態様(以下、インマス態様ともいう。)であってもよく、光吸収剤を含む高分子の層及び光吸収剤を含まない高分子の層が積層された態様であってもよい。
上記の内、光透過部の表面が傷ついた場合であっても、光透過部の光吸収能力が容易に損なわれない観点から、インマス態様が好ましい。
厚さが2mmである場合に、上記(1)~(3)に係る透過率を満たす光透過部の態様としては、特に制限はなく、例えば、光透過部が光吸収剤を含む態様であってもよい。

例えば、ベンゾフェノン、ベンゾトリアゾール、インドール、トリアジン、環状イミノエステル、シアノアクリレート等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、上記(1)~(3)を満たすことが容易である観点から、光吸収剤は、ベンゾフェノン及びベンゾトリアゾールの少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
例えば、ベンゾフェノン、ベンゾトリアゾール、インドール、トリアジン、環状イミノエステル、シアノアクリレート等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、上記(1)~(3)を満たすことが容易である観点から、光吸収剤は、ベンゾフェノン及びベンゾトリアゾールの少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
ベンゾフェノン、ベンゾトリアゾール、インドール、トリアジン、環状イミノエステル及びシアノアクリレートとしては、例えば、国際公開第2018/212343号に記載のものを用いることができる。また、ベンゾトリアゾールとしては、国際公開第2015/046540号に記載の物を用いることができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光透過部が高分子を含むことが好ましい。
上記高分子としては、公知の物を用いることができる。例えば、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリオレフィン、ポリウレタン、ポリチオウレタン、ポリスルフィド、ポリカーボネート、ポリアリル、ポリエン-ポリチオール重合体、開環メタセシス重合体、ポリエステル、エポキシ樹脂、エピスルフィド樹脂、ポリウレタンウレア等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、耐衝撃性の観点から、前記光透過部が、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリカーボネート及びポリウレタンウレアからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の高分子を含むことが好ましく、ポリカーボネートを含むことがより好ましい。
上記高分子としては、公知の物を用いることができる。例えば、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリオレフィン、ポリウレタン、ポリチオウレタン、ポリスルフィド、ポリカーボネート、ポリアリル、ポリエン-ポリチオール重合体、開環メタセシス重合体、ポリエステル、エポキシ樹脂、エピスルフィド樹脂、ポリウレタンウレア等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、耐衝撃性の観点から、前記光透過部が、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリカーボネート及びポリウレタンウレアからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の高分子を含むことが好ましく、ポリカーボネートを含むことがより好ましい。
ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリオレフィン、ポリウレタン、ポリチオウレタン、ポリスルフィド、ポリカーボネート、ポリアリル、ポリエン-ポリチオール重合体、開環メタセシス重合体、ポリエステル、エポキシ樹脂、及びエピスルフィド樹脂としては、例えば、国際公開第2014/133111号に記載のものを用いることができる。また、ポリカーボネートとしては、国際公開第2018/212343号に記載のものを用いることができる。
(蛍光体)
本開示の眼用保護部材は、蛍光体を含んでいてもよい。本開示の眼用保護部材が蛍光体を含むことによって、有害な波長を有する光が光透過部を透過することをより良好に抑制することができる。
本開示における蛍光体は、蛍光物質を含んでなる。蛍光体は、蛍光物質そのものであってもよく、蛍光物質を他の物質と混合したものでもよく、蛍光物質を他の粒子状の物質に付着させたものであってもよい。粒子状物質は、特に限定されないが、ポリウレタン樹脂、ラテックス樹脂、ポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂等の粒子状有機ポリマーであっても良いし、アルミナ、シリカ、ガラス、ジルコニア等の粒子状無機物質であっても良い。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、蛍光体を含んでいてもよい。本開示の眼用保護部材が蛍光体を含むことによって、有害な波長を有する光が光透過部を透過することをより良好に抑制することができる。
本開示における蛍光体は、蛍光物質を含んでなる。蛍光体は、蛍光物質そのものであってもよく、蛍光物質を他の物質と混合したものでもよく、蛍光物質を他の粒子状の物質に付着させたものであってもよい。粒子状物質は、特に限定されないが、ポリウレタン樹脂、ラテックス樹脂、ポリオレフィン樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂等の粒子状有機ポリマーであっても良いし、アルミナ、シリカ、ガラス、ジルコニア等の粒子状無機物質であっても良い。
蛍光物質としては特に限定されないが、4,4′-ジアミノスチルベン、4,4′-ジスチリル-ビフェニレン、メチルウンベリフェロン、クマリン類、ジヒドロキノリノン、1,3-ジアリールピラゾリン、ナフタル酸イミド、CH=CH結合を有するベンゾオキサゾール類、ベンゾイソオキサゾール類、ベンゾイミダゾール類、複素環によって置換されたピレン誘導体等を挙げることができ、組み合わせて用いることもできる。上記の中でも、有害な波長を有する光が光透過部を透過することをより良好に抑制する観点から、ベンゾオキサゾール類及びクマリン類が好ましい。
(他の成分)
本開示の眼用保護部材は、上記以外の他の成分を含んでいてもよい。
他の成分としては、例えば、内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤、ブルーイング剤、染色剤等が挙げられる。
内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤及びブルーイング剤としては、例えば、特許第6209587号公報に記載の内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤及びブルーイング剤が挙げられる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、上記以外の他の成分を含んでいてもよい。
他の成分としては、例えば、内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤、ブルーイング剤、染色剤等が挙げられる。
内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤及びブルーイング剤としては、例えば、特許第6209587号公報に記載の内部離型剤、樹脂改質剤、光安定剤及びブルーイング剤が挙げられる。
<眼用保護部材の実施態様>
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業を行う際に用いられる。従って、本開示の眼用保護部材の実施態様は、上記光硬化作業を行う際に、眼にとって有害な光から眼を保護し得る態様が好適である。
具体的には、保護メガネ、ゴーグル、面体、眼用保護部材付き頭部保護部材、眼用保護部材付き光源、眼用保護シール等の実施態様が挙げられる。上記頭部保護部材としては、例えば帽子、ヘルメット等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、眼にとって有害な光の透過をより良好に抑制する観点から、保護メガネ、ゴーグル及び面体が好ましく、ゴーグル及び面体がより好ましい。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業を行う際に用いられる。従って、本開示の眼用保護部材の実施態様は、上記光硬化作業を行う際に、眼にとって有害な光から眼を保護し得る態様が好適である。
具体的には、保護メガネ、ゴーグル、面体、眼用保護部材付き頭部保護部材、眼用保護部材付き光源、眼用保護シール等の実施態様が挙げられる。上記頭部保護部材としては、例えば帽子、ヘルメット等が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、眼にとって有害な光の透過をより良好に抑制する観点から、保護メガネ、ゴーグル及び面体が好ましく、ゴーグル及び面体がより好ましい。
上記のような眼用保護部材は、自動車の傷を、光硬化性材料(パテともいう)を用いて補修する作業、光硬化性材料を用いた船体の補修又は製造、光硬化性材料を用いたネイルの作製、光硬化性材料を用いた電子情報材料の製造工程、歯科医師等が行うコンポジット、セメント等の光硬化性材料を用いた歯科治療、歯科技工士が行う歯科用部材の製造、建築物に対する補修などの作業を行う際に好適に用いることができ、上記作業を行う作業者のみならず、上記作業者の周囲で他の作業をする者も好適に使用することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、アーク放電を用いた作業が行われる際に用いられることが好ましい。
アーク放電を用いた作業(例えばアーク溶接)では紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる高エネルギーの光が放出されることが知られている。アーク放電を用いた作業を行っている者は専用の遮光眼用保護部材を用いて眼を保護しているものの、前記遮光眼用保護部材は可視光線も同時に遮光してしまうため、作業における周囲の状態、アーク溶接における溶接部位等が見にくいなど視認性が悪くなる傾向にある。また、本開示の発明者らは、前記作業者の周囲に存在するアーク溶接作業が視認できる位置にいる者も、アーク放電により放射される強い光を直接見ることは少ないものの、眼の斜め方向からアーク放電により放出される光が侵入し、眼を傷めるおそれがあることを見出した。
アーク放電を用いた作業(例えばアーク溶接)では紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる高エネルギーの光が放出されることが知られている。アーク放電を用いた作業を行っている者は専用の遮光眼用保護部材を用いて眼を保護しているものの、前記遮光眼用保護部材は可視光線も同時に遮光してしまうため、作業における周囲の状態、アーク溶接における溶接部位等が見にくいなど視認性が悪くなる傾向にある。また、本開示の発明者らは、前記作業者の周囲に存在するアーク溶接作業が視認できる位置にいる者も、アーク放電により放射される強い光を直接見ることは少ないものの、眼の斜め方向からアーク放電により放出される光が侵入し、眼を傷めるおそれがあることを見出した。
本開示の眼用保護部材を用いることによって、アーク放電により放出される紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することができ、良好に眼を保護することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、アーク放電を用いた作業が行われる際に用いられ、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(5)~(7)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材であってもよい。
(5)波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(6)波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(7)波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
(5)波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(6)波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(7)波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
上述の(1)の場合と同様の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が3%以下であることが好ましく、1%以下であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が0%超であってもよく、1%以上であってもよい。
また、上記(6)における波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(2)における波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様であり、上記(7)における波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(3)における波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様である。
また、光透過部の好ましい構成等は上述の通りである。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が0%超であってもよく、1%以上であってもよい。
また、上記(6)における波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(2)における波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様であり、上記(7)における波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(3)における波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様である。

アーク溶接等のアーク放電を用いた作業を行う際、アーク溶接部等を視認しやすくして、アーク溶接の作業の精度を高めることが求められる。
上述の通り、本開示の眼用保護部材によれば、アーク放電により放出される紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる。
また、本開示の眼用保護部材は、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置で作業を行う際に用いられることがより好ましい。これによって、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う者、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置にいる者について、良好に眼を保護することができる。
上述の通り、本開示の眼用保護部材によれば、アーク放電により放出される紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる。
また、本開示の眼用保護部材は、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置で作業を行う際に用いられることがより好ましい。これによって、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う者、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置にいる者について、良好に眼を保護することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材の具体的な一実施形態である保護メガネについて、図1を用いて説明する。
図1に示す通り、保護メガネ20は、光透過部であるレンズ10と、上記レンズ10の周囲を囲うフレーム1と、耳かけ部3と、を備える。
保護メガネは、図1に示す通りに、1つの光透過部を備え、上記1つの光透過部の周囲を囲う1つのフレームを備えてもよく、2つの光透過部を備え、上記2つの光透過部のそれぞれについて周囲を囲うフレーム1を備え、フレーム連結部を設けて各フレーム1を連結してもよい。
また、顔面に装着した場合に顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部を備えていてもよく、顔面に装着した場合に目を覆う部位(図1のレンズ10)及び/又は前記側面保護部が本開示における光透過部であってもよい。
これによって、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過を良好に抑制しつつ、両手を自由に使えるため光硬化作業の効率性を向上させることができる。
図1に示す通り、保護メガネ20は、光透過部であるレンズ10と、上記レンズ10の周囲を囲うフレーム1と、耳かけ部3と、を備える。
保護メガネは、図1に示す通りに、1つの光透過部を備え、上記1つの光透過部の周囲を囲う1つのフレームを備えてもよく、2つの光透過部を備え、上記2つの光透過部のそれぞれについて周囲を囲うフレーム1を備え、フレーム連結部を設けて各フレーム1を連結してもよい。
また、顔面に装着した場合に顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部を備えていてもよく、顔面に装着した場合に目を覆う部位(図1のレンズ10)及び/又は前記側面保護部が本開示における光透過部であってもよい。
これによって、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過を良好に抑制しつつ、両手を自由に使えるため光硬化作業の効率性を向上させることができる。
上記フレームは、遮光の為に色(例えば黒色)が付されていてもよく、顔面とフレームとの隙間から光が入射することを抑制するため、レンズの周囲を囲う態様が好ましい。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、さらに、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した場合に、前記光透過部と合わせて両眼を覆うゴーグル枠を備える態様(以下、ゴーグルともいう。)で用いることができる。
これによって、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制でき、かつ、両手を自由に使えるため光硬化作業の効率性を向上させることができる。

本開示の眼用保護部材の具体的な一実施形態であるゴーグルについて、図2を用いて説明する。
図2に示す通り、本開示のゴーグル30は、光透過部であるレンズ10と、上記ゴーグル30を顔面に装着した場合に上記光透過部であるレンズ10と合わせて両眼を覆うゴーグル枠7と、を備える。
上記ゴーグル枠7は、顔面に密着していてもよく密着していなくてもよいが、ゴーグル枠7と顔面の隙間から有害な光が眼に到達することを抑制する観点から、顔面に密着していることが好ましい。
図2に示す通り、本開示のゴーグル30は、光透過部であるレンズ10と、上記ゴーグル30を顔面に装着した場合に上記光透過部であるレンズ10と合わせて両眼を覆うゴーグル枠7と、を備える。
上記ゴーグル枠7は、顔面に密着していてもよく密着していなくてもよいが、ゴーグル枠7と顔面の隙間から有害な光が眼に到達することを抑制する観点から、顔面に密着していることが好ましい。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した場合に、顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部をさらに備える態様(以下、面体ともいう。)で用いてもよい。
本開示の眼用保護部材の具体的な一実施形態である面体について、図3を用いて説明する。
図3に示す通り、面体40は、光透過部10と、面体40を顔面に装着した場合に、顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部9と、を備える。
面体は、例えば、ヘルメット等の頭部保護部材に取り付けて用いてもよい。これによって、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制でき、かつ、両手を自由に使えるため光硬化作業の効率性を向上させることができる。
図3に示す通り、面体40は、光透過部10と、面体40を顔面に装着した場合に、顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部9と、を備える。
面体は、例えば、ヘルメット等の頭部保護部材に取り付けて用いてもよい。これによって、眼にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制でき、かつ、両手を自由に使えるため光硬化作業の効率性を向上させることができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材の具体的な一実施形態である眼用保護部材付き頭部保護部材について、図4を用いて説明する。
図4に示す通り、眼用保護部材付き頭部保護部材50における光透過部10は、頭部保護部材11を装着した場合の前方方向に、取付具13を介して取り付けられる。これによって、頭部保護部材11を装着した場合に光透過部10が眼前に配置され、光硬化作業において発生する、目にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制することができる。
図4に示す通り、眼用保護部材付き頭部保護部材50における光透過部10は、頭部保護部材11を装着した場合の前方方向に、取付具13を介して取り付けられる。これによって、頭部保護部材11を装着した場合に光透過部10が眼前に配置され、光硬化作業において発生する、目にとって有害な波長を有する光の透過をより良好に抑制することができる。
光透過部10が配置される位置は、常時眼前に固定されている必要はなく、作業の便宜性を考慮して、動かすことができる形態としてもよい。例えば、取付具13の連結部15を上下方向に動かすことができる形態とすることで、光透過部10の配置を動かすことができる。これによって、例えば、光硬化作業が終了した際に光透過部10を上方向に動かすことで、良好な視界を確保することができる。
本開示の眼用保護部材の具体的な一実施形態である眼用保護部材付き光源について、図5を用いて説明する。
図5に示す通り、本開示における眼用保護部材付き光源60は、光照射部19を有する光源ユニット17と、光透過部10と、を備え、上記光透過部10は、光照射部19近傍に配置され、より具体的には、光照射部19の周囲に配置される。
本開示の眼用保護部材付き光源は、上記光透過部10が配置される位置、角度等を適宜調整することで、有害な波長を有する光が照射される方位を限定することができる。即ち、光が光源から外部へ照射される際、有害な波長を有する光を、所望の方位に限定して照射させることができる。これによって、有害な波長を有する照射光が眼に到達することを良好に抑制することができる。
上記光源としては、高圧水銀ランプ、メタルハライドランプ、LED(発光ダイオード)等が挙げられる。
図5に示す通り、本開示における眼用保護部材付き光源60は、光照射部19を有する光源ユニット17と、光透過部10と、を備え、上記光透過部10は、光照射部19近傍に配置され、より具体的には、光照射部19の周囲に配置される。
本開示の眼用保護部材付き光源は、上記光透過部10が配置される位置、角度等を適宜調整することで、有害な波長を有する光が照射される方位を限定することができる。即ち、光が光源から外部へ照射される際、有害な波長を有する光を、所望の方位に限定して照射させることができる。これによって、有害な波長を有する照射光が眼に到達することを良好に抑制することができる。
上記光源としては、高圧水銀ランプ、メタルハライドランプ、LED(発光ダイオード)等が挙げられる。
<眼用保護部材の製造方法>
本開示の眼用保護部材は、例えば、以下方法により製造することができる。
まず、光吸収剤と、高分子又は高分子を形成する重合性化合物と、を所定の方法で混合することにより組成物を作製する。この際、その他の成分として、例えば蛍光体をさらに混合してもよい。
組成物中の各成分の混合順序や混合方法は、各成分を均一に混合することができれば特に限定されず、公知の方法で行うことができる。公知の方法としては、例えば、添加物を所定量含むマスターバッチを作製して、このマスターバッチを溶媒に分散、溶解等させる方法などがある。
本開示の眼用保護部材は、例えば、以下方法により製造することができる。

次に、上記で得られた組成物を加熱して硬化成形することで光透過部を得ることができる。
硬化成形する方法としては、具体的には、射出成形機(例えば、住友重工業株式会社製のSE-180DU)を用いる成形方法、成形モールドを用いる方法等が挙げられる。
得られた光透過部を用いることで眼用保護部材を製造できる。

≪眼の保護方法≫
本開示における眼の保護方法は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
本開示における眼の保護方法は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。

本開示における眼の保護方法は、上記の構成を有することで、少なくとも波長A(例えば405nm)にピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業中に、上記照射した光及び上記照射した光の反射光に含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することができるため、良好に眼を保護することができる。
上記眼用保護部材、波長A、光硬化性材料、光透過部、及び、(1)~(3)における光透過率の具体例及び好ましい態様は、上述の眼用保護部材における眼用保護部材、波長A、光硬化性材料、光透過部、及び、(1)~(3)における光透過率と同様である。
本開示の眼の保護方法における光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たすことが好ましい。

これによって、アーク放電により放出される紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる。また、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う者、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置にいる者について、良好に眼を保護することができる。
(5)波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(6)波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(7)波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
これによって、アーク放電により放出される紫外線領域からブルーライト領域までに含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することで、良好に眼を保護することができる。また、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う者、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置にいる者について、良好に眼を保護することができる。
上述の(1)の場合と同様の観点から、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が3%以下であることが好ましく、1%以下であることがより好ましい。
また、上記光透過部は、厚さが2mmである場合に、波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が0%超であってもよく、1%以上であってもよい。
また、上記(6)における波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(2)における波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様であり、上記(7)における波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率の好ましい範囲は、上述の(3)における波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率と同様である。

≪光硬化物の製造方法≫
本開示の光硬化物の製造方法は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させ、光硬化物を形成する工程を含む。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
本開示の光硬化物の製造方法は、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させ、光硬化物を形成する工程を含む。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。

本開示における光硬化物の製造方法は、上記の構成を有することで、少なくとも波長A(例えば405nm)にピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる光硬化作業中に、上記照射した光及び上記照射した光の反射光に含まれる有害な光の透過を抑制することができるため、良好に眼を保護しつつ、光硬化物を製造することができる。
上記眼用保護部材、波長A、光硬化性材料、光透過部、及び、(1)~(3)における光透過率の具体例及び好ましい態様は、上述の眼用保護部材における眼用保護部材、波長A、光硬化性材料、光透過部、及び、(1)~(3)における光透過率と同様である。
本開示の光硬化物の製造方法における光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たすことが好ましい。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。

光硬化物の態様としては、公知の態様が挙げられる。例えば、自動車の傷補修用のパテを硬化させて得られる光硬化物、レンズ、光硬化型レジスト等が挙げられる。
以下、本開示を実施例により更に具体的に説明するが、本開示はその主旨を越えない限り、以下の実施例に限定されるものではない。なお、特に断りのない限り、「部」は質量基準である。
(実施例1)
パンライト L-1225(帝人株式会社製、重量平均分子量43,000のビスフェノールA型ポリカーボネート)を100質量部、及び、エチル-2-シアノ-3-(1N-メチル-2-フェニル-1H-インドール-3-イル)アクリレート(以下、UVA-Aとも称する。)0.035質量部を定量フィーダーによりベント付き2軸押し出し機((株)日本製鋼所製TEX30α、シリンダー設定温度260℃)に供給し、フィルターを通して異物をろ過した後、ダイからストランド状に排出し、水冷、固化させた後回転式カッターでペレット化しポリカーボネート(PC1)を含む組成物を得た。その後、上記組成物をクリーンオーブンにて120℃で5時間乾燥させた。
上記組成物を射出成形機(住友重工業株式会社製 SE-180DU)にて樹脂温度280℃、金型温度90℃で射出成形し、直径75mm、厚さ2mmの光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を成形した。

(実施例2)
十分に乾燥させたフラスコにジブチル錫(II)ジクロリド0.025g、ステファン製ZelecUN 0.07g、BASF製2-(2-ヒドロキシ-3-t-ブチル-5-メチルフェニル)-クロロベンゾトリアゾール(以下、UVA-Bとも称する。)0.28g、2,5-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタンと2,6-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタンの混合物35.4gを仕込んで混合液を作製した。
この混合液を25℃で1時間攪拌して完全に溶解させた。その後、この混合液にペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)16.7g、1,2-ビス〔(2-メルカプトエチル)チオ〕-3-メルカプトプロパン17.9gを仕込み、これを25℃で30分攪拌して、ポリチオウレタン(PTU1)を含む調合液を調製した。
この調合液を600Paにて1時間脱泡を行い、1μmPTFEフィルターにて濾過を行った後、中心厚2mm、直径80mmの2Cのプラノー用ガラスモールドに注入した。
このガラスモールドを25℃から16時間かけて少しずつ昇温し120℃まで上昇させ、120℃で4時間保温した。その後ガラスモールドを室温まで冷却させて成形物を得た。上記で得られた成形物をガラスモールドから外し、更に120℃で2時間アニールを行って眼用保護部材を成形した。
十分に乾燥させたフラスコにジブチル錫(II)ジクロリド0.025g、ステファン製ZelecUN 0.07g、BASF製2-(2-ヒドロキシ-3-t-ブチル-5-メチルフェニル)-クロロベンゾトリアゾール(以下、UVA-Bとも称する。)0.28g、2,5-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタンと2,6-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタンの混合物35.4gを仕込んで混合液を作製した。
この混合液を25℃で1時間攪拌して完全に溶解させた。その後、この混合液にペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)16.7g、1,2-ビス〔(2-メルカプトエチル)チオ〕-3-メルカプトプロパン17.9gを仕込み、これを25℃で30分攪拌して、ポリチオウレタン(PTU1)を含む調合液を調製した。
この調合液を600Paにて1時間脱泡を行い、1μmPTFEフィルターにて濾過を行った後、中心厚2mm、直径80mmの2Cのプラノー用ガラスモールドに注入した。

(実施例3)
調合液を以下で調製した調合液に変更した以外は、実施例2と同様にして眼用保護部材を成形した。
十分に乾燥させたフラスコにジブチル錫(II)ジクロリド0.042g、ZelecUN(ステファン社製)0.084g、Viosorb 583(共同薬品社製、2-(2’-ヒドロキシ-5’-t-オクチルフェニル)ベンゾトリアゾール)1.05g、TINOPAL OB(蛍光体、チバ・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製、2,5-ビス(5-t-ブチル-2-ベンゾオキサゾリル)チオフェン、励起波長245nm~445nm、蛍光波長390nm~605nm、極大励起波長380nm、最大蛍光波長440nm)0.0124gを正確に仕込み、2,5(6)-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタン35.4gを仕込み、25℃で1時間攪拌して溶解させた。その後、この調合液にペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)16.7g、1,2-ビス〔(2-メルカプトエチル)チオ〕-3-メルカプトプロパン17.9gを仕込み、これを25℃で30分攪拌して、ポリチオウレタン(PTU2)を含む調合液を調製した。
調合液を以下で調製した調合液に変更した以外は、実施例2と同様にして眼用保護部材を成形した。
十分に乾燥させたフラスコにジブチル錫(II)ジクロリド0.042g、ZelecUN(ステファン社製)0.084g、Viosorb 583(共同薬品社製、2-(2’-ヒドロキシ-5’-t-オクチルフェニル)ベンゾトリアゾール)1.05g、TINOPAL OB(蛍光体、チバ・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製、2,5-ビス(5-t-ブチル-2-ベンゾオキサゾリル)チオフェン、励起波長245nm~445nm、蛍光波長390nm~605nm、極大励起波長380nm、最大蛍光波長440nm)0.0124gを正確に仕込み、2,5(6)-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ〔2,2,1〕ヘプタン35.4gを仕込み、25℃で1時間攪拌して溶解させた。その後、この調合液にペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)16.7g、1,2-ビス〔(2-メルカプトエチル)チオ〕-3-メルカプトプロパン17.9gを仕込み、これを25℃で30分攪拌して、ポリチオウレタン(PTU2)を含む調合液を調製した。
(比較例1)
眼用保護部材として、YL-335 エキシマヘリカド レーザー保護めがね(山本光学株式会社製、高分子:ポリカーボネート)を用いた。

各実施例又は比較例で得られた眼用保護部材について以下の評価を行った。結果は表1に示す。

〔光透過率の測定方法〕
測定機器として、島津製作所社製 島津分光光度計 UV-1600を使用し、2mm厚の光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を用いて紫外-可視光スペクトルを測定し、波長Anmを405nmと、波長A+15nmを420nmと、波長A+35nmを440nmとして、各光透過率を測定した。結果を表1に示す。
また、実施例1~実施例3について、波長200nm~400nmの範囲内の光透過率も測定した。その結果、いずれの値も5%未満であった。
測定機器として、島津製作所社製 島津分光光度計 UV-1600を使用し、2mm厚の光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を用いて紫外-可視光スペクトルを測定し、波長Anmを405nmと、波長A+15nmを420nmと、波長A+35nmを440nmとして、各光透過率を測定した。結果を表1に示す。
また、実施例1~実施例3について、波長200nm~400nmの範囲内の光透過率も測定した。その結果、いずれの値も5%未満であった。
〔眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観の評価〕
実施例と比較例で作製した眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観を目視により確認して、以下の基準より評価した。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:眼用保護部材は無色であり、透明性が良好であった。
B:眼用保護部材に、若干黄色の着色が認識でき、若干透明性が劣るが実用上問題の無い透明性であった。
C:眼用保護部材に、黄色又は白色の着色が明確に認識でき、透明性が損なわれていた。
実施例と比較例で作製した眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観を目視により確認して、以下の基準より評価した。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:眼用保護部材は無色であり、透明性が良好であった。
B:眼用保護部材に、若干黄色の着色が認識でき、若干透明性が劣るが実用上問題の無い透明性であった。
C:眼用保護部材に、黄色又は白色の着色が明確に認識でき、透明性が損なわれていた。
(照射光(405nm)の照射領域の視認性)
暗室において、評価者は、眼前を覆うように眼用保護部材を配置した状態で、LEDランプ(LASTHOPE社製)を用いて、縦30cm×横30cmの照射領域に、405nmにピークを有する光を照射することを試みた。そして、上記照射した光が上記照射領域に正確に照射されていることを、評価者が目視で確認できたか否かについて下記評価基準によって評価し、照射領域近傍の視認性の指標とした。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:照射した光が所定の照射領域に当たっていることが明確に確認できた。
B:照射した光が所定の照射領域内のどこかに当たっていることは確認できたが、照射領域内のどの部分に当たっているかは確認しづらかった。
C:照射した光が所定の照射領域に当たっていることが、ほぼ確認できない。
暗室において、評価者は、眼前を覆うように眼用保護部材を配置した状態で、LEDランプ(LASTHOPE社製)を用いて、縦30cm×横30cmの照射領域に、405nmにピークを有する光を照射することを試みた。そして、上記照射した光が上記照射領域に正確に照射されていることを、評価者が目視で確認できたか否かについて下記評価基準によって評価し、照射領域近傍の視認性の指標とした。結果は表1に示す。

(ランプと光硬化性材料との距離の認知性)
暗室において、評価者は、眼前を覆うように眼用保護部材を配置した状態で、ランプ(飯田照明株式会社製)を用いて、縦30cm×横30cmの光硬化性材料に、405nmにピークを有する光を照射することを試みた。そして、上記ランプと上記光硬化性材料との距離を、評価者が目視で確認できたか否かについて下記評価基準によって評価し、ランプと光硬化性材料との距離の認知性の指標とした。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:ランプと光硬化性材料との距離が明確に確認でき、ランプを適切な位置に近づけることができた。
B:ランプと光硬化性材料との距離が確認できるが、明確ではない。そして、ランプを光硬化性材料に近づけ過ぎて、ランプを上記光硬化性材料に接触させてしまった。
C:ランプと光硬化性材料との距離がほとんど確認できない。そして、ランプを光硬化性材料に近づけ過ぎて、ランプを上記光硬化性材料に接触させてしまった。

(作業空間の視認性)
評価者は、眼前を覆うように眼用保護部材を配置した状態で、ランプ(飯田照明株式会社製)の色、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を、評価者が目視で確認できたか否かについて下記評価基準によって評価し、作業空間の視認性の指標とした。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:ランプの色がほぼその原色の状態で確認できた。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を明確に確認できた。
B:ランプの色を原色とは若干異なる色で確認した。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を確認できたが、明確ではなかった。
C:ランプの色を原色とは若干異なる色で確認した。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を確認できなかった。
評価者は、眼前を覆うように眼用保護部材を配置した状態で、ランプ(飯田照明株式会社製)の色、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を、評価者が目視で確認できたか否かについて下記評価基準によって評価し、作業空間の視認性の指標とした。結果は表1に示す。
-評価基準-
A:ランプの色がほぼその原色の状態で確認できた。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を明確に確認できた。
B:ランプの色を原色とは若干異なる色で確認した。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を確認できたが、明確ではなかった。
C:ランプの色を原色とは若干異なる色で確認した。また、ランプに記載された表示、評価者の足元の床模様等を確認できなかった。
表1中、「-」は該当する成分が含まれていない、該当する数値が存在しないことを意味する。
表1に示す通り、実施例1~実施例3は、眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観、照射光(405nm)の照射領域の視認性、ランプと光硬化性材料との距離の認知性及び作業空間の視認性が良好であった。
一方、波長A+35nm(即ち、表1中の440nm)の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である比較例1及び比較例2は、眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観、照射光(405nm)の照射領域の視認性、ランプと光硬化性材料との距離の認知性及び作業空間の視認性に劣っていた。
波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超であり、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である比較例3は、眼を良好に保護できなかった。
一方、波長A+35nm(即ち、表1中の440nm)の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である比較例1及び比較例2は、眼用保護部材の透明性及び外観、照射光(405nm)の照射領域の視認性、ランプと光硬化性材料との距離の認知性及び作業空間の視認性に劣っていた。
波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超であり、波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である比較例3は、眼を良好に保護できなかった。

Claims (16)
- 光重合開始剤を含む光硬化性材料に対して、波長Aにピークを有する光を照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる際に用いられ、
厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。 - 前記波長Aが、前記光重合開始剤の吸収波長である請求項1に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 前記波長Aが、200nm~500nmの範囲内である請求項1又は請求項2に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 前記波長Aが、280nm、365nm、385nm、395nm、405nm、420nm及び480nmからなる群から選ばれる1つである請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 前記光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たす請求項1~請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。 - 前記光透過部が、光吸収剤を含む請求項1~請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 前記光吸収剤が、ベンゾフェノン及びベンゾトリアゾールの少なくとも1種を含む請求項6に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 前記光透過部が、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリオレフィン、ポリウレタン、ポリチオウレタン、ポリスルフィド、ポリカーボネート、エピスルフィド樹脂及びポリウレタンウレアからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の高分子を含む請求項1~請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
- さらに、眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した場合に、前記光透過部と合わせて両眼を覆うゴーグル枠を備える請求項1~請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した場合に、顔面の側面を保護する側面保護部をさらに備える請求項1~請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の眼用保護部材。
- 厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して、前記光硬化性材料を硬化させる眼の保護方法。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。 - 前記光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たす請求項11に記載の眼の保護方法。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。 - 厚さが2mmである場合に以下(1)~(3)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、
少なくとも波長Aにピークを有する光を光硬化性材料に照射して前記光硬化性材料を硬化させ、光硬化物を形成する工程を含む光硬化物の製造方法。
(1)波長Anmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(2)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(3)波長A+35nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。 - 前記光透過部が、厚さが2mmである場合に以下(4)をさらに満たす請求項13に記載の光硬化物の製造方法。
(4)波長A+15nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%超である。 - アーク放電を用いた作業が行われる際に用いられ、
厚さが2mmである場合に以下(5)~(7)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材。
(5)波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(6)波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(7)波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。 - 厚さが2mmである場合に以下(5)~(7)を満たす光透過部を備える眼用保護部材を顔面に装着した状態で、アーク放電を用いた作業を行う者、又は、前記作業を視認できる位置にいる者に対して用いられる眼の保護方法。
(5)波長200nm以上400nm未満の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が5%以下である。
(6)波長400nm以上420nm以下の光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%以下である。
(7)波長435nmの光に対する光透過部の光透過率が70%超である。
