Definitions
- the present invention relates to a stretchable optical film comprising an optical material layer having excellent stretchability and an optical adhesive layer having stretchability on one surface of the optical material layer and having no change in adhesion.
- smartphones use a variety of useful materials such as flexible and foldable displays, and products using complex designs are increasing.
- a film was manufactured by forming a hard coating layer on the optical adhesive layer as shown in the upper drawing of Fig. 1, but a phenomenon in which tears or wrinkles occur on the side curves where the curves and the curves meet. There was a problem with this occurring.
- these urethane films are produced by extrusion, and in order to control the thickness, the thickness must be adjusted through the stretching process, but due to the stretchability of urethane, it cannot be produced with a thickness of 25 um or less, so a thickness of 15 um or less is requested. It is not applied to the stretchable optical film.
- the curved portion is composed of one surface and two surfaces. Therefore, the existing display has a structure that does not require stretchability, and is used on the back of the window glass by using a product with an adhesive layer formed on the back surface of a general PET film or PU film.
- the present invention provides a stretchable optical film different from the conventional method.
- the present invention provides an optical film having an optical material layer and an optical adhesive layer capable of controlling resilience while having a high elongation to solve the problems occurring in the conventional four-sided curved surface as described above.
- the present invention generally adopts a method of laminating by separately providing an optical adhesive layer when using the PET and urethane material layers as described above, but is to solve the problem that the separation of the two layers occurs due to different elastic modulus. It is to provide an optical film in which the interface between materials is completely integrated by forming an optical material layer and an optical adhesive layer at the same time.
- the optical film according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an optical adhesive layer; And an optical material layer formed on the optical adhesive layer.
- the optical material layer is prepared by using an ultraviolet curable resin containing isoprene acrylate, butadiene acrylate or urethane acrylate to have stretchability, and the optical adhesive layer also has stretchability.
- the present invention relates to a stretchable optical film including an optical adhesive layer on one surface and an optical material layer on one surface of the optical adhesive layer.
- the present invention has stretchability and heat resistance and light resistance. It can be used as a cover film and design film for required mobile products.
- the present invention is attached to the inner surface of the protective glass including the bonding of the base film and the design layer on the upper surface of the optical material layer so as to play a role of protection and design of the display device layer.
- the present invention is used in conjunction with a window of a flexible display such as a foldable display, so that a design degree can be improved and damage to a design layer due to folding can be reduced.
- the present invention is intended to protect the design without affecting the CPI film and the device layer used as a substrate because it has stretchability even if it is wound in a circular shape like a rollable display.
- the present invention is to cope with a four-sided curve and a cross section curve by high elongation in a four-sided window.

- FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing an optical film according to an embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a comparison result table of heat resistance and chemical resistance.
- 7 is a diagram illustrating a process of manufacturing an optical film using a double coating method according to an embodiment of the present invention

- the optical film of this embodiment may include an optical adhesive layer and an optical material layer formed on the optical adhesive layer.
- the optical film may additionally include a second protective film formed under the optical adhesive layer and a first protective film formed on the optical material layer.
- the optical material layer may have a high elongation and control resilience, and the optical adhesive layer has elongation and no change in adhesion.
- no change in the adhesive force means that the adhesive force in the stretched state is the same as the adhesive force in the unstretched state.
- the optical material layer may be prepared by using an ultraviolet curable resin containing one of isoprene acrylate, butadiene acrylate and urethane acrylate containing an acrylate group as a main component, and the optical adhesive layer is It may be composed of OCA having similar stretchability to the optical material layer.

- the content of the isoprene-based acrylate, the butadiene-based acrylate, or the urethane-based acrylate exceeds 60%, it is difficult to commercialize the optical material layer because it exceeds the limit of resilience for maintaining a certain shape.
- the content of the isoprene-based acrylate, the butadiene-based acrylate, or the urethane-based acrylate is less than 10%, it becomes too soft to have a soft surface that cannot function as an optical material layer.
