Definitions
- the present invention is a syringe cap that can be attached to and detached from a syringe body having a body portion capable of accommodating a drug inside and a nozzle portion projecting from the tip end portion of the body portion toward the tip end and having a drug discharge port at the tip end.
- a syringe cap including a cap body and a tubular cover member that covers the cap body.
- the cap body has a mounting portion that can be mounted on the nozzle portion of the syringe body and a viewing portion that is located on the tip side of the mounting portion.
- the cover member includes a substantially opaque first tubular portion and a substantially transparent second tubular portion extending from an opening at the tip of the first tubular portion toward the tip.
- the cap body is in the first position where the visual recognition part is located in the first cylinder part in the unopened state of the syringe cap. At this time, the visual recognition unit is substantially invisible.
- the cap body is pressed toward the tip by the nozzle portion so that the visible portion is the tip of the first tubular portion from the first position. It is displaced to a second position that protrudes toward the tip. That is, the visual recognition unit can be substantially visually recognized. Thereby, it is possible to distinguish between the unopened state and the opened state of the syringe cap.
