Abstract

Es werden ein Verfahren zum Einbringen von Verbrennungsluft in einen Zylinder (25) einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, ein dafür vorgesehenes Hochdruckeinlassventil (1) und eine mit dem Verfahren und dem Hochdruckeinlassventil arbeitende Verbrennungskraftmaschine beschrieben. Dabei wird die komplette Verbrennungsluft für die jeweiligen Zylinder (25) mittels eines in dem jeweiligen Zylinderkopf (26) angeordneten Hochdruckeinlassventil (1) auf Basis eines gesteuerten Massenstromes so in den Zylinder (25) der Verbrennungskraftmaschine eingeführt, dass Gemischbildung und Ladungswechsel intensiviert werden. Zusätzlich werden Temperatur und/oder Druck der Verbrennungsluft gemessen und die Menge an Verbrennungsluft auf Basis der Messergebnisse mit dem Hochdruckeinlassventil (1) gesteuert in den Zylinder (25) eingeführt, indem ein Schiebekolben (3) des Hochdruckeinlassventils (1) durch Verschieben geöffnet oder geschlossen wird. Durch eine axiale Verschiebung des Schiebekolbens (3) zwischen Führungsabschnitten (5) im Gehäuse (2) des Hochdruckeinlassventils (1) werden Durchtrittsbereiche6für Verbrennungsluft in einer Schließposition (7) gesperrt und in einer Durchlassposition (8) geöffnet. Der Schiebekolben (3) weist im Durchtrittsbereich (6) zwei aufeinanderzugewandte Druckbeaufschlagungsbereiche (10, 11) auf, deren in eine Ebene projizierte Flächen gleich groß oder voneinander abweichend sind. Der erste Druckbeaufschlagungsbereich (10) kann in der Art eines Tellerventils (12) und der zweite Druckbeaufschlagungsbereich (11) als Ringfläche (13) ausgebildet sein. Die Verbrennungskraftmaschine weist eine Hochdruckleitung (27) für die Verbrennungsluft auf, welche an das Hochdruckeinlassventil (1) angeschlossenen ist. Bezogen auf die Längsachse des Zylinders (25) ist das Hochdruckeinlassventil (1) im Zylinderkopf 26 stehend oder liegend angeordnet.
