Definitions
- the present invention relates to an application system which has a cartridge, syringe or compule with at least one chamber, and a removable closure element which, in the delivery state, is connected to the cartridge by means of a first connecting element which has a predetermined breaking point.
- cartridges, syringes or compulses are used to store and discharge dental materials.
- the cartridges, syringes or computers should not only protect the dental materials stored in them from environmental influences, but also allow the materials to be dispensed in a user-friendly and precise manner.
- they are partly provided with a removable closure that can be attached to the spreading area.
- Another accessory can also be attached to the dispensing area in order to dispense and / or mix dental materials, for example a mixer, a dispensing spout or the like. Applicator.
- the application system has two separate tamper-evident closures, one of which is connected to the closure element and the other of which is associated with the actuating opening and / or the at least one dispensing element.
- at least one of the originality closures is designed such that it is opened during normal use of the cartridge without the need for a separate working step.
- a predetermined breaking point of the respective tamper-evident closure can be cut automatically by removing the closure element or actuating the dispensing element.
- An application system has, for example, a cartridge, syringe or compule with at least one chamber and a removable closure element which is preferably connected to the cartridge in the delivery state by means of a first connecting element, which may have a predetermined breaking point.
- the application system can additionally have at least one second connecting element, which may have a predetermined breaking point and which, in the delivery state, is not removably connected to both the cartridge and a dispensing element.
- a dispensing element or a dispensing element and a closure element are fastened to the cartridge by means of at least one connecting element in such a way that unintentional actuation in the delivery state or in a storage condition is avoided.
- an originality lock can be implemented in this way, which also indicates whether the application system has already been used for the first time.
- securing the dispensing element makes sense, since its actuation inevitably occurs when the application system is used for the first time.
- a tamper-evident seal associated with the dispensing element is particularly effective in addition or as an alternative to an tamper-evident seal on the closure element. This can also ensure that a piston arrangement or a plunger arrangement does not move within the cartridge as a result of vibrations or pressure or temperature fluctuations.
- the application system has a cartridge which has at least one container with an outlet and an actuating opening, at least one dispensing element, a removable closure element which can seal the outlet of the at least one container in a delivery state of the cartridge, a first Ver connecting element, which may have a predetermined breaking point and which is not non-destructively removable in the delivery state, connected to both the cartridge and the closure element, and at least one second connecting element, which may have a predetermined breaking point and which is not in the delivery state non-destructively removable is connected to both the cartridge and the at least one dispensing element.
- both the at least one closure element and the at least one dispensing element are thus secured to the cartridge via a respective connecting element.
- the second tamper-evident closure can be designed as a film or disc which has at least a first section connected to the cartridge and a second section which at least partially closes the actuating opening and is connected to the first section via the second predetermined breaking point is.
- This film or disc is fixed to the actuation opening in such a way that the second section is separated when a plunger is inserted into the cartridge. This second section can then be pushed into the cartridge with the pistons. Alternatively, it is also possible to remove the second section. This is particularly useful if the second tamper-evident seal is designed as an adhesive film.
- the second section can have any shape, for example a circle, a strip, a cross or a grid.
- the at least one dispensing element can, according to one embodiment, be a piston arrangement which seals the actuating opening of the at least one container and which is displaceable in the container for dispensing a content of the container through the outlet in the container.
- the at least one dispensing element can have a piston rod which, at least in the delivery state, protrudes from the actuation opening of the at least one container and which is displaceable in the container for dispensing a content of the container through the outlet in the container.
- the at least one dispensing element can alternatively or additionally have a display element which can be displaced through the outlet in or on the cartridge during the dispensing of a content of the container.
- the predetermined breaking point is preferably designed in such a way that cutting through the predetermined breaking point generates an optical, acoustic and / or haptic signal.
- Application systems are often manufactured in large numbers by injection molding from plastic.
- the provision of the first connecting element and / or that of the second connecting element can take place in that they are integrally or positively connected to the cartridge and are formed in one piece with the closure element or the dispensing element.
- the first connecting element can be connected to the closure element in a material or form-fitting manner and / or the second connecting element can be connected in a material or form-fitting manner to the dispensing element and be formed in one piece with the cartridge.
- Such a material or positive connection can, for example, be carried out by welding, in particular if the connecting element and the cartridge or the closure element or the dispensing element consist of plastics which can be welded to one another, in particular injection molded parts. Such welding is possible, for example using an ultrasound welding method, with a simple means even after the closure element has been applied to the cartridge, so that the outlay for installing the application system can be kept low.
- Another possibility of a material or positive connection is, for example, to inject the connecting element during the manufacture of the cartridge or the closure element or the dispensing element by multi-component injection molding.
- the connecting element can be connected to the cartridge and / or the closure element and / or the dispensing element by gluing, attaching and / or mechanical pressing, cold welding, shrinking on and / or clicking.
- the closure element can also be a separate one-part or multi-part plastic part.
- the connec tion element is provided with a coding.
- a coding can, for example, be a colored design of the connecting element.
- the connecting element has a shape suitable for coding and / or be provided with a corresponding marking.
- Such a coding of the connecting element makes it possible to use the coding to identify the cartridges, for example with regard to their content and / or with regard to the accessories to be used with the cartridge.
- an application system that additionally has at least one accessory part that can be connected to the cartridge that the at least one accessory part, in particular an applicator, such as a brush, a brush or a cannula, or a mixer, is one of the coding of the connecting element has corresponding coding.
- the color of the connecting element can be the same as the color with which the coding of the accessory is designed in order to be able to select the accessory matching the respective cartridge from a larger number of different accessories.
- the application system has a connecting element that fulfills several functions simultaneously.
- the connecting element serves first to indicate as a tamper-evident element the first removal of the closure element from the cartridge. In addition, it complicates or prevents the connecting element from unintentionally removing the closure element from the cartridge or unintentionally moving the dispensing element.
- the connecting element also serves to identify the cartridge among other cartridges of the same type and / or to assign a suitable accessory to the cartridge.
