Definitions

  • the invention relates to an application system, for example a cartridge system, with a cartridge that has at least one container and with a one-part or multi-part closure element.
  • a cartridge is understood to mean, in particular, a container with an outlet, in which case, for example, the end of the container opposite the outlet can be provided with a displaceable dispensing piston.
  • a cartridge is also understood below to mean a syringe or a so-called compule. If several containers of a cartridge are provided, they each have an outlet. In this case, the respective outlets of the containers can be closed in a sealing manner by the closure element when the cartridge is in storage.
  • the closure element can be removed from the cartridge.
  • the cartridge is designed in such a way that an accessory, for example an applicator or a mixer, can be connected to the cartridge, in particular to the outlets of the containers.
  • an accessory for example an applicator or a mixer
  • Such a cartridge system is, for example, from the WO 2013/026721 A1 known.
  • US 2013/0 105 515 A1 also discloses a dual cartridge having a closure configured to be tearable from the outlet of the cartridge.
  • the JP 2011 093 559 A describes a refill container, e.g. for a liquid soap dispenser.
  • the refill container is closed by a cap with an insert. After removing the cap, the insert remains in the container and thus increases the seal to the dosing device to be used.
  • US 2012/0 061 343 A1 describes a child-proof closure for a discharge arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a safety cap is provided for this purpose, which can be slipped over the actual closure.
  • WO 2011/073 251 A1 and US 2002/0 170 926 A1 describe a closure plug that is integrally formed with the neck of a cartridge via a weakened point on a bridge member. After breaking off the closure plug from the outlet of the cartridge, the closure projections can be plugged into the outlet in a sealing manner.
  • US 2002/0 170 926 A1 describes a cartridge system for storing and dispensing multiple components.
  • the cartridge includes a tear-off cap that seals the outlet passages prior to use for dispensing is released from the outlet and has plugs insertable into the outlets of the cartridge, so that the cartridge is resealable.
  • DE 203 09 931 U1 describes different embodiments of a closure plug that is connected to the outlets of a cartridge via predetermined breaking points.
  • the closure is connected to a lid via a tear-off ring. If a tensile force is exerted on the tear-off ring, the lid breaks off at predetermined breaking points and the cartridge is opened. The sections connected via the predetermined breaking points remain at the outlet openings.
  • a particular disadvantage here is that after the closure cap has been removed, it is not possible to associate a suitable accessory to be attached, for example an applicator or a mixer, with the cartridge.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide an application or cartridge system of the type mentioned at the beginning, in which the unintentional opening of the application or cartridge system during transport or storage is prevented and the initial removal of the closure element from the cartridge is indicated.
