Description

ファンアウトコードおよびその製造方法
 本開示は、ファンアウトコードおよびその製造方法に関する。
 本出願は、2019年1月10日出願の日本出願第2019-002695号に基づく優先権を主張し、前記日本出願に記載された全ての記載内容を援用するものである。
 特許文献1は、光ファイバテープ心線と、複数の保護チューブと、保護スリーブと、複数の光コネクタとを備えるファンアウトコードを開示している。保護チューブは、光ファイバテープ心線の一部の被覆を除去して分岐させた光ファイバ心線を収容する。保護スリーブは、光ファイバテープ心線から光ファイバ心線に分岐した分岐部を収容する。光コネクタは、光ファイバ心線の先端に取り付けられる。
 また、特許文献2は、光ファイバコードと、複数の補強チューブと、熱収縮チューブと、複数の光コネクタとを備える多心光コネクタを開示している。光ファイバコードは、複数の光ファイバテープ心線を有する。補強チューブは、光ファイバコードの一部の被覆を除去して分岐させた1本の光ファイバテープ心線を収容する。熱収縮チューブは、光ファイバコードと複数の補強チューブとの接続箇所を覆って保護する。光コネクタは、光ファイバテープ心線の先端に取り付けられる。

 前記端末部の前記集合部に含まれる光ファイバと前記光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するステップと、
 前記融着接続された部分に保護部材を取り付けるステップと、
 を備える。

[本開示が解決しようとする課題]
 特許文献1のファンアウトコードでは、分岐させた光ファイバ心線にそれぞれ保護チューブを被せる必要がある。この作業工程に時間がかかる。また、光コネクタの端面を研磨する場合、光コネクタには分岐部及び光ファイバテープ心線が繋がっている。このため、光コネクタの端面の研磨を行う際に光コネクタの取り扱いが難しい。また、ファンアウトコードに取り付けられたすべての光コネクタの端面を一括で研磨できない場合がある。
 また、特許文献2の多心光コネクタも同様に、分岐させた光ファイバテープ心線にそれぞれ補強チューブを被せる必要がある。この作業工程に時間がかかる。また、光コネクタの端面を研磨する場合、光コネクタの取り扱いが難しい。また、すべての光コネクタの端面を纏めて研磨できない場合がある。
 そこで、本開示は、効率よく製造可能なファンアウトコードおよびその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。

 本開示によれば、効率よく製造可能なファンアウトコードおよびその製造方法を提供することができる。
[本開示の実施形態の説明]
 最初に本開示の実施形態の内容を列記して説明する。
 本開示の一態様に係るファンアウト(Fan-Out)コードは、
 (1)複数の光ファイバ心線と、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の一端部にそれぞれ取り付けられた複数の光コネクタと、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部に形成された前記複数の光ファイバ心線を一体化した集合部とを有する端末部と、
 光ファイバテープ心線と、
 前記端末部の前記集合部に含まれる光ファイバと前記光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとが融着接続された融着接続部と、
 前記融着接続部を補強する保護部材と、を備え、
 前記集合部は、並列に配列された前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部と、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲の少なくとも一部を覆う被覆材と、を有する。
 上記構成によれば、別々に形成された端末部に含まれる光ファイバと光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するため、ファンアウトコードを効率よく製造することができる。
 端末部は、光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を複数本有している。光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線は、汎用性が高いため、ファンアウトコードの用途以外に用いることができる。このため、光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。そして、端末部の製造時に、ストックから必要な本数の光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を取り出すことができる。
 また、光ファイバ心線に光コネクタを取り付けて光コネクタの端面の研磨を行った後で、光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲を被覆材により覆うことにより集合部を形成することができる。このため、光コネクタの端面の研磨を行う際に、光コネクタの取り扱いが容易である。また、端末部に含まれるすべての光コネクタの端面を一括で研磨することができる。このため、光コネクタの端面の研磨の作業時間および作業費用を削減することができる。
 (2)前記端末部は、前記複数の光ファイバ心線をそれぞれ収容する複数の補強チューブを有してもよい。
 上記構成によれば、端末部は、補強チューブを有する。補強チューブにより、光ファイバ心線を補強することができる。また、補強チューブに収容され且つ光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。このため、ファンアウトコードを製造する際に、光ファイバ心線に補強チューブを1本1本通す必要がなくなり、作業効率が向上する。
 (3)また、本開示の実施形態に係るファンアウトコードの製造方法は、
 一端部に光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を複数本並列に並べて、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲の少なくとも一部を被覆材により覆うことにより集合部を有する端末部を形成するステップと、
 前記端末部の前記集合部に含まれる光ファイバと前記光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するステップと、
 前記融着接続された部分に保護部材を取り付けるステップと、
 を備える。
 上記構成によれば、別々に形成された端末部に含まれる光ファイバと光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するため、ファンアウトコードを効率よく製造することができる。
 端末部は、光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を複数本有している。光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線は、汎用性が高いため、ファンアウトコードの用途以外に用いることができる。このため、光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。そして、端末部の製造時に、ストックから必要な本数の光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を取り出すことができる。
 また、光ファイバ心線に光コネクタを取り付けて光コネクタの端面の研磨を行った後で、光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲を被覆材により覆うことにより集合部を形成することができる。このため、光コネクタの端面の研磨を行う際に、光コネクタの取り扱いが容易である。また、端末部に含まれるすべての光コネクタの端面を一括で研磨することができる。このため、光コネクタの端面の研磨の作業時間および作業費用を削減することができる。
 (4)前記複数の光ファイバ心線は、それぞれ複数の補強チューブに収容されていてもよい。
 上記構成によれば、端末部は、補強チューブを有する。補強チューブにより、光ファイバ心線を補強することができる。また、補強チューブに収容され且つ光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。このため、ファンアウトコードを製造する際に、光ファイバ心線に補強チューブを1本1本通す必要がなくなり、作業効率が向上する。
[本開示の実施形態の詳細]
 以下、添付図面を参照して、本開示の実施形態について詳細に説明する。図面の説明において同一または相当要素には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。図面に示された各部材の寸法は、説明の便宜上、実際の各部材の寸法とは異なる場合がある。また、図面に示された各部材の寸法は、説明の便宜上、図面間で各部材の寸法とは異なる場合がある。
 また、本開示の実施形態の説明では、説明の便宜上、「左右方向」、「上下方向」、「前後方向」について適宜言及する。これらの方向は、図1に示されるファンアウトコード1について設定された相対的な方向である。ここで、「左右方向」は、「左方向」および「右方向」を含む方向である。「上下方向」は、「上方向」および「下方向」を含む方向である。「前後方向」は、「前方向」および「後方向」を含む方向である。左右方向は、上下方向に直交する方向である。前後方向は、左右方向および上下方向に直交する方向である。「前方向」とは、ファンアウトコード1の長手方向に対して端末部側を意味し、「後方向」とは、ファンアウトコード1の長手方向に対して光ファイバテープ心線側を意味する。
 図1は、本開示の実施形態に係るファンアウトコード1を示す模式図である。図2は、ファンアウトコード1の端末部2を示す模式図である。図3は、端末部2の光ファイバ心線21を示す模式図である。図4は、端末部2の集合部24の断面図である。図5は、端末部2の光コネクタ23の分解図である。図6は、ファンアウトコード1の光ファイバテープ心線3の断面図である。尚、図1では、融着接続部4付近の光ファイバ21aおよび光ファイバ31aの図示を簡略化している。
 ファンアウトコード1は、図1に示すように、端末部2と、光ファイバテープ心線3と、融着接続部4と、保護部材5とを備える。
[端末部2]
 端末部2は、図2に示すように、複数の光ファイバ心線21と、複数の補強チューブ22と、複数の光コネクタ23と、集合部24とを有する。端末部2は、例えば、12本の光ファイバ心線21を有する。光ファイバ心線21の数は、ファンアウトコードの用途および接続先の光学装置の構造により異なる。
 光ファイバ心線21は、図3に示すように、補強チューブ22に収容されている。光ファイバ心線21の一端部(前端部)は、補強チューブ22から露出されて光コネクタ23が取り付けられている。光ファイバ心線21の他端部(後端部)は、補強チューブ22から露出している。例えば、光コネクタ23の先端から補強チューブ22の後端までの長さL1は300mmであり、補強チューブ22から露出した光ファイバ心線21の長さL2は150mmである。
 12本の光ファイバ心線21の他端部は、図2および図4に示すように、並列に並べられ、その周囲が樹脂25(例えば、紫外線硬化型樹脂)により覆われることにより、集合部24を形成している。樹脂25は、被覆材の一例である。例えば、光コネクタ23の先端から補強チューブ22の後端までの長さL1が300mmの場合、集合部24を含む補強チューブ22から露出した光ファイバ心線21の長さL3は50mmである。集合部24は、光ファイバテープ心線3と融着接続される際、先端部分の被覆樹脂(樹脂25および樹脂21b)が除去されて、光ファイバ21aが露出される。尚、集合部24では、光ファイバ心線21の他端部は互いに接触した状態で並べられているが、これに限定されない。光ファイバ心線21の他端部は互いに離間した状態で並べられて樹脂により覆われてもよい。また、12本の光ファイバ心線21全体を一まとめに樹脂25で覆わなくてもよく、複数本の光ファイバ心線21をいくつかのグループ毎に樹脂で覆うことで集合部24を形成してもよい。また、光ファイバ心線21の周囲全体を樹脂で覆わなくともよく、隣接する複数の光ファイバ心線21同士の一部が樹脂で接着されているだけでもよい。
 光ファイバ心線21は、例えば、0.25mmの直径を有し、光ファイバ21aの周囲を樹脂21b(例えば、紫外線硬化型樹脂)で覆うことにより形成される単心の光ファイバ心線である。光ファイバ心線21は、0.9mmの直径を有し、光ファイバの周囲を一次被覆および二次被覆で覆うことにより形成されてもよい。光ファイバは、例えば、石英ガラスからなるコアおよびクラッドを有する全石英ファイバ、あるいは石英ガラスからなるコアおよび樹脂からなるクラッドを有するハードプラスチッククラッドファイバ等である。
 補強チューブ22は、光ファイバ心線21を収容し、光ファイバ心線21と共に光コネクタ23に取り付けられている。補強チューブ22は、例えば、ナイロン(Ny)チューブであり、内直径0.5mm、外直径0.9mmである。
 光コネクタ23は、図5に示すように、フェルール26と、スプリング27と、ハウジング28と、ブーツ29とを有する。ハウジング28は、フロントハウジング28aと、リアハウジング28bとを有する。
 フェルール26は、本体部26aと、フランジ部26bとを有する。本体部26aは、例えばジルコニアからなり、その中心軸に光ファイバ挿入孔(図示せず)を有する。光ファイバ心線21の前端部の一部の被覆樹脂21bが除去されて露出された光ファイバ21aは、光ファイバ挿入孔に挿入されて位置決めされる。フランジ部26bは、例えば金属からなり、本体部26aの光ファイバ挿入孔よりも大きい内径を有し、光ファイバ挿入孔に連通する孔(図示せず)を有する。補強チューブ22および補強チューブ22から露出した光ファイバ心線21の前端部は、フランジ部26bの孔に挿入されて、樹脂等により固定される。
 スプリング27は、例えば、金属製の圧縮コイルバネからなり、フェルール26のフランジ部26bに当接するように配置される。スプリング27により、フェルール26がフロントハウジング28a内で前方へ弾性的に付勢された状態で光コネクタ23の軸方向に沿って移動可能となる。
 ハウジング28は、樹脂製の部材である。フロントハウジング28aは、収容部61と、ラッチ62と、係合孔63とを有する。収容部61は、フェルール26とスプリング27を収容する。ラッチ62は、収容部61の上部から後方側の斜め上方に向けて突出するように配置されている。ラッチ62の操作により、接続先の光学装置に対して光コネクタ23のロックおよびロックの解除をすることができる。リアハウジング28bは、収容部64と、係合部65とを有している。収容部64は、フェルール26に接続された補強チューブ22を収容する。リアハウジング28bの係合部65がフロントハウジング28aの係合孔63に係合することにより、フロントハウジング28aは、リアハウジング28bに取り付けられる。
 ブーツ29は、リアハウジング28bの後方に延出する光ファイバ心線21に急激な曲げが作用しないように、光ファイバ心線21を保護する。ブーツ29は、先端部がリアハウジング28bの後端部に嵌合又は螺着することにより、リアハウジング28bに取り付けられる。
[光ファイバテープ心線3]
 光ファイバテープ心線3は、図6に示すように、並列に並べられた端末部2の光ファイバ心線21の数と同数の光ファイバ心線31と、その周囲を覆う樹脂32(例えば、紫外線硬化型樹脂)とを有する。光ファイバテープ心線3は、例えば、2000mmの長さを有する。本開示の実施形態では、光ファイバテープ心線3は、12本の光ファイバ心線31を有する12心の光ファイバテープ心線である。光ファイバ心線31は、光ファイバ31aの周囲を樹脂31bで覆うことにより形成される単心の光ファイバ心線である。光ファイバ心線31の構成は、端末部2の光ファイバ心線21の構成と同じであるため、詳細な説明は省略する。光ファイバテープ心線3は、集合部24と融着接続される際、先端部分の被覆樹脂(樹脂32および樹脂31b)が除去されて、光ファイバ31aが露出される。尚、光ファイバテープ心線3において、光ファイバ心線31の他端部は互いに接触した状態で並べられているが、これに限定されない。光ファイバ心線31の他端部は互いに離間した状態で並べられて樹脂により覆われてもよい。
[融着接続部4]
 融着接続部4は、図1に示すように、端末部2の端部から露出した複数の光ファイバ21aと光ファイバテープ心線3の端部から露出した複数の光ファイバ31aが融着接続された部分である。
[保護部材5]
 保護部材5は、図1及び図9に示すように、保護スリーブ51と、第一熱収縮チューブ52と、第二熱収縮チューブ53とを有する。保護スリーブ51は、少なくとも融着接続部4及び融着接続部4付近の光ファイバ21a、31aを覆い、融着接続部4及び光ファイバ21a、31aを補強する。保護スリーブ51は、例えば、熱収縮性を有する。第一熱収縮チューブ52は、補強チューブ22から露出した光ファイバ心線21及び集合部24を覆い、光ファイバ心線21及び集合部24を補強する。第二熱収縮チューブ53は、第一熱収縮チューブ52及び保護スリーブ51を覆い、第一熱収縮チューブ52及び保護スリーブ51を保護する。尚、第一熱収縮チューブ52及び第二熱収縮チューブ53は、一体成型されてもよい。
[ファンアウトコード1の製造方法]
 次に、上記のファンアウトコード1の製造方法の一例を、図7~図12に基づいて説明する。図7は、従来のファンアウトコードの製造方法の工程フローを示す図である。図8は、本開示の実施形態に係るファンアウトコード1の製造方法の工程フローを示す図である。図9は、図8のステップS11における光ファイバテープ心線に保護部材が挿入された状態を示す図である。図10は、図8のステップS13における端末部2を示す図である。図11は、図8のステップS13における光ファイバテープ心線3を示す図である。図12は、図8のステップS14において保護部材5を融着接続部4に取り付ける前の状態を示した図である。図10から図12では、光ファイバ21aおよび光ファイバ31aの図示を簡略化している。尚、12本の光ファイバ心線を有するファンアウトコードを製造する方法について説明する。
 まず、図7を用いて、従来のファンアウトコードの製造方法について説明する。
 ステップS1において、12心の光ファイバテープ心線を準備する。ステップS2において、光ファイバテープ心線の一部から被覆樹脂を除去して、12本の光ファイバ心線に分離させる。ステップS3において、分離した12本の光ファイバ心線それぞれに、補強チューブを挿入する。ステップS4において、光ファイバテープ心線の端部を保護部材に挿通させる。ステップS5において、保護部材を光ファイバテープ心線から光ファイバ心線に分離した部分(以下、分離部という。)に移動させて熱により固定する。
 次に、ステップS6において、各光ファイバ心線の端部を予め光コネクタの所定の部品(ブーツ、リアハウジング、スプリング)に挿通させる。ステップS7において、補強チューブから露出した光ファイバ心線の先端部の被覆樹脂を除去し、露出した光ファイバをフェルールに挿入する。そして、光ファイバ、光ファイバ心線の先端部、補強チューブの先端部をフェルールに固定する。
 次に、ステップS8において、フェルールの端面を研磨し、端面の検査を行う。その後、光ファイバ心線の端部に予め挿通させておいた光コネクタの部品をフェルールまで移動させる。そして、最後に残りの光コネクタの部品(フロントハウジング)をフェルールの先端から挿入して、光コネクタを組み立てる(ステップS9)。
 上記のように、従来のファンアウトコード製造方法では、光ファイバテープ心線を光ファイバ心線に分離し、その後、各光ファイバ心線を補強チューブに収容していた。また、フェルールに分離部および光ファイバテープ心線が繋がった状態で、フェルールの端面の研磨を行っていた。
 次に、図8から図12を用いて、本開示の実施形態のファンアウトコード1の製造方法について説明する。
 まず、ステップS10において、12心の光ファイバテープ心線3を準備する。ステップS11において、図9に示すように、光ファイバテープ心線3の端部を予め保護部材5(保護スリーブ51、第一熱収縮チューブ52、第二熱収縮チューブ53)に挿通させる。
 また、ステップS20からステップS25において、補強チューブ22に収容され且つ一端部に光コネクタ23が取り付けられた光ファイバ心線21(図3参照)を12本準備する。まず、ステップS20及びステップS21において、光ファイバ心線21を補強チューブ22に収容する。ステップS22において、補強チューブ22の端部を予め光コネクタ23の所定の部品(ブーツ29、リアハウジング28b、スプリング27)に挿通させる。次に、ステップS23において、補強チューブ22から露出した光ファイバ心線21の先端部の被覆樹脂21bを除去し、露出した光ファイバ21aをフェルール26に挿入する。そして、露出した光ファイバ21a、光ファイバ心線21の先端部、補強チューブ22の先端部をフェルール26に固定する。次に、ステップS24において、フェルール26の端面を研磨し、端面の検査を行う。その後、光ファイバ心線21の端部に予め挿通させておいた光コネクタ23の部品をフェルール26まで移動させる。そして、残りの光コネクタ23の部品(フロントハウジング28a)をフェルール26の先端から挿入し、光コネクタ23を組み立てる(ステップS25)。
 次に、ステップS12において、12本の光ファイバ心線21の他端部を並列に並べて、その周囲を樹脂25により被覆して集合部24を形成する(以下、リボナイズともいう。)。次に、ステップS13において、端末部2の集合部24に含まれる光ファイバと光ファイバテープ心線3に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続機により融着接続する。まず、図10に示すように、端末部2の集合部24の一部から被覆樹脂25を除去する。さらに、露出した光ファイバ心線21から被覆樹脂21bを除去し、12本の光ファイバ21aを露出する。また、図11に示すように、光ファイバテープ心線3の前端部の被覆樹脂32を除去する。さらに、露出した光ファイバ心線31からから被覆樹脂31bを除去し、12本の光ファイバ31aを露出する。そして、端末部2の後端部から露出した12本の光ファイバ21aと光ファイバテープ心線3の前端部から露出した12本の光ファイバ31aを互いに突き合わせて融着接続する(図12参照)。そして、ステップS14において、光ファイバテープ心線3の端部に予め挿通させていた保護部材5(保護スリーブ51、第一熱収縮チューブ52、第二熱収縮チューブ53)を融着接続した部分に移動させて固定する。これにより、図1に示すファンアウトコード1が製造される。
 上記のように、本開示の実施形態のファンアウトコード1の製造方法では、別々に形成された端末部2に含まれる光ファイバと光ファイバテープ心線3に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続する。補強チューブ22に収容され且つ光コネクタ23が取り付けられた光ファイバ心線21は、汎用性が高いため、大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。端末部2の製造時に、ストックから必要な本数の補強チューブ22及び光コネクタ23付きの光ファイバ心線21を取り出すことができる。このため、ファンアウトコード1の製造時では、ステップS20からステップS25の製造工程を省略することができる。
 また、ステップS23のフェルール26の端面の研磨は、光ファイバ心線21のリボナイズの前に行う。複数のフェルール26の端面をまとめて研磨することができる。このため、フェルール26の端面の研磨の作業時間および作業費用を削減することができる。
 以上説明したように、本開示の実施形態では、別々に形成された端末部2に含まれる光ファイバと光ファイバテープ心線3に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するため、ファンアウトコードを効率よく製造することができる。
 端末部2は、補強チューブ22に収容されて光コネクタ23が取り付けられた光ファイバ心線21を複数本有している。このような補強チューブ22及び光コネクタ23付きの光ファイバ心線21は、汎用性が高いため、ファンアウトコードの用途以外に用いることができる。このため、補強チューブ22及び光コネクタ23付きの光ファイバ心線21を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。そして、端末部2の製造時に、ストックから必要な本数の補強チューブ22及び光コネクタ23付きの光ファイバ心線21を取り出すことができる。したがって、ファンアウトコードを製造する際に、光ファイバ心線21に補強チューブ22を1本1本通さなくとも良く、作業効率が上がる。
 また、光ファイバ心線21に取り付けられた光コネクタ23の端面の研磨を行った後に、光ファイバ心線21のリボナイズを行う。このため、光コネクタ23の端面の研磨を行う際に、光コネクタ23の取り扱いが容易である。また、複数の光コネクタ23の端面を一括で研磨することができる。このため、光コネクタ23の端面の研磨の作業時間および作業費用を削減することができる。
 端末部2は、補強チューブ22を有する。補強チューブ22により、光ファイバ心線21を補強することができる。
 以上、本開示を詳細にまた特定の実施態様を参照して説明したが、本開示の精神と範囲を逸脱することなく様々な変更や修正を加えることができることは当業者にとって明らかである。また、上記説明した構成部材の数、位置、形状等は上記実施の形態に限定されず、本開示を実施する上で好適な数、位置、形状等に変更することができる。
 上記実施形態においては、端末部2は、光ファイバ心線21を収容する補強チューブ22を有しているが、補強チューブ22を有していなくてもよい。この場合も、上記実施形態と同様に、光コネクタ23付きの光ファイバ心線21を大量に予め製造してストックしておくことが可能である。また、コネクタ23の端面の研磨の作業時間および作業費用を削減することができる。

Claims (4)

  1.  複数の光ファイバ心線と、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の一端部にそれぞれ取り付けられた複数の光コネクタと、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部に形成された前記複数の光ファイバ心線を一体化した集合部とを有する端末部と、
     光ファイバテープ心線と、
     前記端末部の前記集合部に含まれる光ファイバと前記光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとが融着接続された融着接続部と、
     前記融着接続部を補強する保護部材と、を備え、
     前記集合部は、並列に配列された前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部と、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲の少なくとも一部を覆う被覆材と、を有する、ファンアウトコード。
  2.  前記端末部は、前記複数の光ファイバ心線をそれぞれ収容する複数の補強チューブを有する、請求項1に記載のファンアウトコード。
  3.  一端部に光コネクタが取り付けられた光ファイバ心線を複数本並列に並べて、前記複数の光ファイバ心線の他端部の周囲の少なくとも一部を被覆材により覆うことにより集合部を有する端末部を形成するステップと、
     前記端末部の前記集合部に含まれる光ファイバと前記光ファイバテープ心線に含まれる光ファイバとを融着接続するステップと、
     前記融着接続された部分に保護部材を取り付けるステップと、
     を備える、ファンアウトコードの製造方法。
  4.  前記複数の光ファイバ心線は、それぞれ複数の補強チューブに収容される、請求項3に記載のファンアウトコードの製造方法。
